Guess, I went at the wrong time on a Saturday evening. It was loud, smoky, and had to wait forever for a lane. I understand they have leagues, so don’t go during league bowling or your have to wait until they are done. In my opinion it was very pricey to bowl.

The people who gave it a low star are probably the people who went in once and acted like owned the place, in order to get respect you have to earn it. This is not a party place its a sports establiahment. This is the best place to go for a good time and they're smoking designated areas.

Trying to get in a little practice for this weekends Bowl for kids! Cool place, enjoyed the Monday winter special $2 a game and $2 for shoes. Had a blast friendly and helpful service. I'll definitely be back!

Fun place for the family. Has had scoring and lane upgrades. As well as bumper availability for each bowler. Pretty slick.

Our game was cut off short because someone told the employees we were bowling without the shoes on, we had a large party and two separate lanes so the only people without shoes had already finished their frames and changed back to the shoes they brought in. The bar and food area is also confusing, someone in our group had a glass of water from the bar and was told they couldn't bring to the lanes, or pour it into another cup. It was a fun time when the employees and confusing roles dont ruin it for you.

We Were treated poorly by whomever was at the desk. Our child is developmentally disabled and 13 years old. Despite the fact that she has a disibility, we had to beg for the bumpers and they would not give us a ramp because she is over the age of 10.

Play for the almost 2 hour things were almost great till midway threw 10 But lanes wear messed up and trying to charge us 4 with threats but when lanes and scores cant match up but want 2 charge us at the end and treating us with 4 hours at then end

Would not recommend to anyone. Worst service I’ve had at an alley. Was told that I could not bring a water cup from their own bar to the lanes even though it was a plastic cup like they required. Our game was also cut short 4 frames due to a disrespectful employee who claims our group was bowling without proper shoes. Completely unacceptable and disrespectful to make such a claim without any legitimate proof. Would give no stars if possible.

Lane kept shutting down, but they gave us more time to finish after bringing it to their attention... so can’t be too upset honestly. Took 30 min to try to correct, they ended up switching our lane after the leagues left. Had a good time with family, because they tried to make things right would come back again.

Love to go bowling and enjoy the option to bowl a certain amount of time for a set amount of money. Problem is the number of times the lane shuts down and it takes forever for someone to get it back up and running, while your time is ticking away. Get it together Valley Lanes.

We love karaoke nights and the staff. The only downside to this place is that there is so much smoke it's disgusting!! Should be ventilated much better!! Those smoke fans are not working. Better yet they have a back door entrance to the outside they should really invest making a deck for them to smoke on for all seasons. Whenever we go and then leave to come home we are taking our clothes off stuff them in the washer and then hop in shower to get that smoke smell off.

Im 21 years old and went with a group of friends they were able to get us to a lane right away so points for that , it was a little loud and busy (which we didnt mind)but im thinking it was just that particular night. Everything is on the pricey side such as food shoes games ect. But thats with any bowling alley really.

Horrible music selection on a friday night, extremely loud, lane messed up twice and got pins stuck costing us about 10 minutes or so out of our 2 hour time slot. Couldn't vape in there which sucks...

Bad business model in which I can't get in to have a beer during the last half hour of karaoke night when this is the only bar that's open on this side of town (that I know of,) without paying the full cover. No, I don't want to karaoke, I just want a beer at the end of my work night, thank you. Would have rated higher if not had been turned away like that. Do they even want my money?

They couldn't handle the crowd. The lanes kept messing up. It took 5 tries to get the bumpers up for my kids. The lady did apologize though a lot, so at least she was nice.

Lanes are reasonably priced. Cosmic bowling is a blast! Pool tables and snack bar are also reasonably priced. The bar in bac offers karaoke with TNT on weekends and its a great time. There is a 3 dollar cover foe that but totally worth it!

Rude and unpleasant worker greated through a locked door. There claimed they were open from 11-9. We were waving at people inside who looked at us and shrugged us off. After 5 min a rude man who acted like we inconvenienced him came at the door with an attitude. Told us they were suppossed to open a 5, Sign says 11am tho. Then tells us systems are down and they are open. Followed by I dont know what to tell u folks, then walked away. Never opened door, talked to us through door, did not let us ask possible time of opening or offer to let us sit inside and wait. While there 5 cars holding about 20 people pulled up. All lost business as well, prob $300+ in business lost in 5 min. Anywere I have been has not locked people out, treated them rude, not answer questions, and def not spoken to people through locked doors. Open your door, explain what's wrong, then offer us an option to sit inside and wait of go to your lounge. Maybe the place is nice, idk, but dont be rude. Most the customers here during summer, keeping you open and employees paid are driving 45min from resort. Treat them right or they with shut u down .

my family and i went to have a good time, but we had such a terrible experience... we got asked by a girl with glasses to shut up because we were being so loud...so this is my question to you..how can you play quietly??? Whats the fun if we have to be quiet??? So stupid!!!!....by the way...she was just being mean only to us because we were hispanics...there was plenty of people in that place being loud and she only came up to us, she was not nice at all...she could at least say it nicely...never going back!!!!

Long wait line to get shoes and pay for the games. Our lane (#21) kept glitching and when I asked for assistance on the touch screen no one came. Each time we had to go to the counter for help and wait in line yet again.

Valley Lanes/Timeout Sports Grill is a great place to meet new people and to associate with people you already know. The Staff is very professional and kind. And there is TNT Karaoke and DJ ing , now that's a great way to unwind after a hard week at work. If you get a little hungry while you are unwinding there food is some of the best around town. I GIVE THIS PLACE 5 STARS !!

The facility was well maintained Natasha was fantastic. She took notice that we had a very frustrated child who is learning how to bowl but only rolling gutter balls. She talked to him and covertly set the bumpers to activate. No more,gutter balls and no more frowns.

This place is not nearly so bad as the previous reviews. Yes they charge $.25 for the cup and ice water. They also have a free water fountain. The atmosphere and bowling conditions are very good.They have a great selection of draft beers at very good prices! The food is freshly prepared and as good or better than any other bowling alley food. It is family run and they have bowling specials all the time. Our family of four bowled two games with shoes for $34.

Visiting from NY and went bowling here. Front desk people were the nicest, most friendly people. Lanes seem new and scoring system is high tech with option to skip someone if they are in the bathroom or something so you don't have to wait for them. $12 all we could bowl for 2 hours included shoes.

This spot was recommended by one of the staff members at the Massanutten resort. We came down to find the place packed on a Monday night. The front desk staff helped us out. She suggested we hang at the bar and by 9pm the bowling leagues should be clearing out. We went to the bar, and was shocked that smoking was allowed inside. So we sat on the very far side from the smoke ordered drinks and food. I had the hot wings w/fries while my husband had the chicken fingers w/ fries. The bar keep was very nice. He did change the channel for us so we could watch and hear the football game. After our meal, we had to wait in line to get situated. We were quickly helped with shoes and given a lane. I liked the bowling system, easy to log in and easier to adapt. The lanez and balls were nice. We didn't bowl well, but hey we just wanted to have a good time during our mini getaway.

Giving one star is being generous and unfortunately my only option on here. We went bowling for my friends birthday and brought brownies for him. One of the staff members told us that “only cookies and cupcakes were allowed” and made us get rid of them. What logic is that? Was highly disappointed in the attitude of the two young women working there and the way they treated us thoroughout our night. Props to the bartender though, bar was a little rough on the inside, but the bartender couldnt have been friendlier! Save to say I will never be bowling in the area anytime soon.
