Allies and hardware need to replaced. I enjoy duckling bowling but it's to easy to lose you rhythm when the lanes break down so often.

This place was a ton of fun! I went for a date with my boyfriend and we couldn't have had a better time! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful - we had never played before and they were willing to tell us how it all worked. Anytime there was an issue with the machines the staff were quick to run up and repair it. Just overall a great and unique experience. I will definitely be going back.

Tina has brought back one of our favorite things to do as a family. The facility is clean, well lit, family friendly, and great for date night. Good menu with reasonable prices.

A retro blast from the past that is a lot of fun. We were in town visiting family and decided to check out the bowling. This was a very family friendly place that was clean and well taken care of. They sell food and drinks and also have a pool table. It was extremely affordable as where we live we have to pay $20 per person, per game plus shoes and here it was around $5. The owner Tina works very hard to make sure everyone is comfortable and has what they need. You can tell she takes pride in her business. The machines can be a little temperamental but it didn't hold up our game at all and we looked at it as part of the charm of this old fashioned but fun place.

Nothing worked. Lane broke down after Avery ball. Didn't even finish a full game because the lanes kept breaking and still had to pay full price. Very disappointed

Great place. My kids love the owner and beg to go here every week.

Just finished duckpin bowling with my husband, 4yo and 7yo. It was a blast! 50's era bowling center with all the squeaks and visible mechanisms. The small balls are great for the kids and for me too (I won!). There are no bumpers for the kids, so they were allowed to bowl from 1/2 way up the lane. No auto scoring - good math lesson for my 7yo. The owner was so nice. Definitely recommend a visit!

My family and I visited SBL a couple weeks ago and had such a great time! This alley has been around for over 50 years, so it has an awesome retro atmosphere! A great family friendly environment! The food was delicious and Tina, the owner, is very friendly and does an awesome job with everything! She even hosts parties! We will definitely be back again soon!

Known as the oldest bowling alley in Virginia. It is one of three remaining duck pin alleys in the state. Staff took time out to explain how the game was played and scored. It was like stepping back in time to play. Only 6 alleys you can play on and it is located on the second floor of the building that it is in. We had a good time and for the mist part had the lanes to ourselves.
