Great customer service! Affordable for large family!
Woodbridge VA, It smells old, it's dated at least 20 plus years. The balls are cracked, Not up to date when comes to bumpers for kids. Cost almost $3.00 for a small drink. You know when you walked into a raggedy bowling alley. This is it! The filty carpets are just one of many disgusting things,
Great place!!
Looks like I'm playing 90's bowling... Expensive food, poor system. Not a good place to hang out with friends
Very friendly staff
Bowl America
Worker were polite, fun and knowledgeable
Friendly staff willing to assist the amateur bowler get better. Best lane conditions in Woodbridge.
Our family truly enjoyed ourselves! The staff were friendly and cheerful.
The staff was friendly and very helpful when we had a malfunction in our lane. They put the bumpers up for my son. Bowl America offers a summer pass for kids to bowl free and has the ramps for younger kids to use.
It is a regular bowling place. Staff us friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. They have a gaming area and a separate banquet area (where they can host parties) our kids had a great time and we did too.
As long as you are coming here to bowl you're safe and can't beat the price especially when they're having cosmic bowling as for the food pass but the funnel cake isn't half bad and neither are the pretzels
The equipment worked great and we had lots of fun.
Took our family of 4 to Bowl America in Woodbridge today and was greeted by Mary, a woman who didn't seem too happy that we wanted a lane on a league night. We hadn't been here before, and drove 45 minutes from Stafford to get there. It's President's day, so traffic was a little more congested than usual. Anyway, when we got to the counter, I said 'hi, could we please get a lane?" Mary sighed, rolled her eyes, and started looking at her monitor. "It's a league night tonight", she said. "Our guy is going to be oiling the lanes in a little while to get ready." I said, "Ok, how long do you think we have to bowl?" (It was only 4:00). Still having an attitude, she said "You probably only have about an hour." I said, "That should be plenty of time. Can we still bowl?" She replied, "Well if my lane guy gets down that far, you're gonna have to move." I said, "That's fine, however, you seem pretty annoyed that we're here to bowl." She said, "No" and proceeded to ring us in for my kids' shoes. She moved on to some other people who were turning in shoes, and I had to ask her for our lane number. Bowling was fun. The place is a little older, but that didn't bother us. If you want to be in customer service, be friendly, especially when your customer comes in with her family and a smile...smile back and be welcoming. League night or not, we're paying customers too, and we had plenty of time before the league started!
Great for family fun & good service... Yummy funnel cakes
Has a great vibe and music :) good for the family! Great food, (recommend the funnel cake), however, need more chicken strips on the platter!! Overall, pretty fun !
Food is ok at best.
Nice bowling alley with everything you'd need in a good bowling alley
It was fun and I enjoyed it vary much
I came to the bowling alley with my childhood friends and mind you our children. I always celebrate diversity unfortunately this bowling alley staff did not. After purchasing nearly $220 worth of food for a party of about 20 I was approached by an older man with a retired marine hat he asked me what were my intentions here. I was bewildered as I respect my fellow marines ...my best friends dad was a retired gunnery seargent. I directed the employee to my husband as I felt uncomfortable with his tone towards me. While bowling 1 of the 4 lanes rented stopped working when we requested help we were basically snarled at. My friends daughter nearly got kicked by an employee and also when we were getting ready to leave the same retired marine came over to our area watching us I suppose not believing we would pay. When in line the cashier said I hope everyone pays up. We were disrespected on so many levels. I never had to endure this and will not go back there nor recommend this to my colleagues, friends, or family.
Great service, snack bar were awesome quick service. Nice personnel great family atmosphere
They have touth league and adult league
We have been going here for years. Great Sunday bowling prices.
Decent food, old school scoring computers. Brings back the nostalgia
Great employees and great service
Bowling is way too expensive
The cosmic bowling wasn't really as I expected but the staff was really friendly and helpful as we tried to decide what we were going to do. However, that horrible old carpet/damp/mold smell as soon as you walk in was too much for me. It's not like it was just in one spot, it was the entire bowling alley! I'd recommend looking into some freshener or something.
Affordable to bowl but very old and broken down, needs to be updated.
This is a great place! My fiancé and I got here at 1130 and the manager was kind enough to let us bowl two games. Great customer service and a great environment. Absolutely recommend!!!!
i like to bowl at this place after 9pm mon-thurs due to the $7 all you can bowl until 12am. only complaint is that there are always issues like bars not coming up or balls are not returning or pins getting knocked down by the bar lol. I guess that's what I get for the cheap price coz when it's league time (6pm wkdays) I noticed nothing ever goes wrong. the foods here is always great though! must try the amazing mozzarella sticks and the fried shrooms! and fries and chiken tenders, its overr
Inexpensive family fun!
Everyone here is really nice EXCEPT the front desk cashiers. They are just so unpleasant. Even when they try to put on a happy face, it's evident that they hate it there. I don't know why because the people make the food are nice and cheery, the owners are nice and cheery, I don't know what excuse they have but since that is the first stop you make in your bowling experience and your last stop, it truly sets a unwelcoming mood.
On some nights they play a decent selection of music but over all just play fun
Great spot for bowling, just don't expect the shinyest or newest equipment. Shoes are about $5 and games are $3.56/person.
Horrible customer service, outdated facilities!! Would not recommend.
Love the place staff is awesome
This is a nice place to bowl.
Go almost every Sunday to bowl with the family they have great weekend deals and food is good
My five-year-old granddaughter loves to "bowl". This place is very kid-friendly during afternoon hours when it's convenient to take her. While it is an older facility, it is well maintained.
We had our christmas party
Good place, good people
Awesome bowling alley! Has leagues and very nice quality shoes and balls!
It was clean, the service was fast and polite.
Very good.
Family Gathered For My Twin And 64th Birthday, It Was Awesome, They Made A Exception For Us And Stayed Open A Lil Later, So We Could Finish Our Game.
Very nice people, even when they are busy. I would go back anytime
Love going there to bowl and get food my mom worked for bowl america for years
It's okay. The place is a little dirty and the decor is dated. Bowling is good tho.
Your website is awful!
Been going to this place for years, people are always friendly.
Old bowling balls, broken lanes you get placed on and it just needs to be upgraded.
One of the few great bowling alleys left. The rest are trying to become nightclubs and rude customer service for some reason, this one is for families and for bowlers. This is how bowling has been and will always be. Recommend this location more than any other in the entire region.
This place is stuck in the past in a good way. I love the old retro thing that this
Hey, hablan español??
Facility is clean and has a wide selection of food. But computers frequently did not register thrown balls or knocked down pins, so we had to do a lot of score corrections.
Better than expected! Clean and pretty nice environment. I will go back.
Friendly staff.
I give this place a 2 star because we didn't have to wait for a lane on a Friday night. If not for that it would be a 1 star. Do not go here if you have a child who needs bumpers unless you want to bowl with bumpers up also. The place is expensive, but it is run down. It's in the bottom 3 bowling alleys I have ever bowled in.
Extremely expensive to bowl. It cost $35 to bowl 2 games with my 2 kids.
Old man in gray shirt was extremely rude. Absolutely embarrassing for this location with total lack of manners. Please do not allow him to interact with customers or in any way in service since he clearly does not like people
Lanes are uneven. Lins get stuck.
Good basic bowling but nothing to write home about.
Comes in at 11:30, “ how many games are you trying to play?” - the attendant “4 for 2 people” - me “We are trying to close at midnight, so would you mind only playing 1 game each” - the attendant They close at 2 am but can’t let me get an extra game so they can close two hours early! I don’t make reviews ever but this place obviously doesn’t want business
Gets the job done. Nothing fancy.
i dont bowl but they've got great facilities
Ok bowling alley
It is very nice and it has just enough lanes. Cleaner than other Bowl America locations nearby.
Great friendly staff excellent people to host for a bowling tournament
Crust it
I take my sons and their friends here for all u can bowl! They have beer on tap !! (FYI) !! to all the dads out there.
They offer good rates on weekdays.
It's great and fun. Great deals for Sunday's and Saturdays afternoon. Wonderful youth programs
I take a young Man named Anthony to Bowl America all over No. Va Dale City, Woodbridge,Annandale,Falls Church, Alexandria. He has Autism can't say enough about how friendly staff are with us..Bowl America A+
I love the style, but the decor is a bit dated about 30 years. The carpet looks a bit old. The pizza was delicious.
(Translated by Google) It is a place where you can enjoy it as a family it is not expensive it is super accessible the price (Original) Es un lugar donde puedes disfrutarlo en familia no es caro es súper accesible el precio
Could use some updates to its scoring system and decor, but the staff is nice and it is a clean facility
always love going and have fun good people
Nice atmosphere
Had a great time
This was a terrible place to visit. The people were not friendly at all. Plus, the space was old and outdated. The machine that had kept our score keep breaking and when we asked for an assistance, we were met with an attitude. Did not enjoy my stay and definitely will never go here again.
Enjoy the bowling and the Fellowship.
Rigoverto
Best house in the area! Great staff!
Great time with a friend ...First date memories..Love it !!!!!
Add is too confusing to find, even for Google maps
Lots of fun.
Great time while cosmic bowling and friendly staff!
I had fantastic day celebrating 22years Pastors &Church anniversary .
Fun for the whole family. Not busy walked right in and got a lane on a league night.
Her name is Mona i never seen this kind of service how rude and disrespectful this lady was she think that i cant speak english? Too bad she also started raising her voice at me when my son asked me what lane we were going in she thinks her customer cares about her day dont go to that place when shes working cause she even took place and said she was the manager and then a couple seconds later shes apparently not even the manager
In comparison to the surrounding area's bowling alleys, this place is great. $18.50 will get you unlimited bowling and shoes on a Friday night until 1am. What I love about this place is that the food is good (try their bacon cheeseburger, is delicious), the place is clean, and you can go in on a Friday night for cosmic bowling and it isn't crowded. After leagues finish up on Friday nights around 9:45, the place empties out and you never have to wait. Compared to Dale City Bowling, which has terrible cosmic bowling (they leave the lights on), is more expensive, and generally is completely packed.
I love going here for the all you can bowl nights. It's a great way to spend a few hours without spending a ton of money
We had the best afternoon here!! Staff was incredibly friendly, they went out of their way to make sure my grand children had everything they needed! It was not terribly crowded, so we had plenty of time to play. Food and drinks were typical of bowling alley fare.
It was a very nice friendly environment. The price is per game we're great they were very helpful and attentive to any questions we had and all of our concerns I would go there again in a heartbeat.
Great service and great food
Kim Hanberry Calavas · 2 hours ago Hello Bowl America. My grandmother bowled here for 40 years and was known by everyone as the Candy Lady because she gave candy (and hugs and love and laughter) to everyone she met. As a tribute when she passed away, my aunt has paid for her locker, which had a tribute to her on the front of it. She just called to see if she could renew via mail, rather than stopping in, as she has moved. She was told that, despite the locker being paid in full, you have rented it to someone else and removed the tribute. My aunt is inconsolable at this point. Please tell me this was a mistake and how and when you plan to correct it
Came here with my son on a Sunday night. As I walked in I realized that it's an older establishment but dont let that deter you. The cashier was very helpful, a bit quiet but polite. Originally we were going to just get one lane but they don't have the automatic bumpers. They had plenty of rails that the kids use. Lanes have what look to be 24" flat screens over the ball return area and the Sunday games were on. The equipment functioned very well. I didn't call for service once, which I feel like happens A LOT at most alleys. The oil pattern seemed heavy and short (even my Pitch Black was crossing over, I think it was a 36' pattern). The house balls are old, but they're house balls... I didn't have a chance to check out the pro shop, next time I guess. My son ate a kid's meal with chicken nuggets, fries and an apple juice. I had fish and chips. The food was fried very well. It wasn't soggy or burnt, just a nice golden crisp. They have pizza too, which I didn't realize because it wasn't on the menu, but after I ordered I saw the pizza boxes that are below the board. My kid is usually a picky eater, but he ate all his nuggets and most of the fries, so they must be doing something right. My fish and chips were solid. We had a great time at Bowl America and plan on coming back soon. What this place may lack in the newer systems and equipment they more than make up for in quality and service. Whether you're looking for a fun night out with the kids or looking to work on your game, this place is great.
Took about 70 students over to bowl and they were excellent. They gave us a discount because they were students, they were extremely accommodating and friendly, and the service was great. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Its old and run down and dirty. Which is why I love it. Reminds me of the bowling alley I grew up with.
Came in for a quick look on vacation and this place hasn't changed in 20 years!
We had fun here at a children's birthday party. It isn't particularly clean or bright, but the alley lanes seem really well kept and the staff, during my brief visit, were friendly and attentive.
Great place for bowling, just don't get addicted to the funnel cakes. Most people don't even need bowling shoes! Just dont have black soles or boots and your good to go!
Had alot of fun
Had a great time with the guys. Wasn't busy in the middle of the afternoon.
Friendly staff and cheap prices but is getting a bit dated
This was the worst experience bowling I have had. The front desk staff was incredibly rude. My wife even asked them if they were annoyed that we wanted to bowl. I understand that leagues were going to start an hour after we started, and that the lanes were going to get conditioned, but that is not my problem. An hour is more than enough time for a family our size to bowl two games. I highly recommend going anywhere else to bowl.
Terrible yelled at us and made us pay for a game when we were messing around and they didn't let us know that if we did that we would have to pay for another game so from now on I'm going to amf
I haven't been bowling in over 40 years, this may get me interested in it again, but only with the right company.Lol.
Good lane conditions. Although I somehow always keep leaving the ten pin.
They meet the needs of all groups of people including people with various disabilities
A decent bowling alley, not updated or super modern - think CRT monitors without any animations, but definitely fun and they have a range of prices depending on the night you decide to go. Never purchased food or drinks there, but they are available. They have an office/ship where it seems they can drill the bowling balls for you if you bring in your own, so that is a bonus. It can get busy, but we've never had to wait for a lane. Definitely worth the visit if you're looking for an activity nearby.
Not bad. old school feel.
Chill and bowl out.
Needs to be updated
Modern facility with friendly staff. Tasty snacks, clean restrooms.
Decent bowling alley. A little out dated.
Great, clean family fun
Staff is really nice and remembers us (group of 4). We go here every Friday, never had an issue.
This place is a ripe off they will take your money. I wait your time and money
