Very kid friendly. Great summer pass program for kids - 2free games a day for the kid and 1 free for the adult with them. Just pay for shoes.

You only get 1 first impression and Bowl America failed mainly on attitude. While our kids were competing in the State Youth Bowling Tournament, our food was initially served unsatisfactorily. The chicken nuggets were near dime sized without meat and the burger was red not pink. The restaurant manger was very rude asking if it wasn't good enough for us. With the prices they charge that was totally unacceptable. I don't mind paying a little more at similar locations but her comments demonstrated her lack of professional skills. I can't believe that was asked when serving kids raw meat. The facility manager did step in and that was appreciated; hopefully he can find a better representative in food services to work with customers.

Really greasy and overpriced bowling. Staff was rude and very intense. Very unclean and the computers used to keep track of the bowling kept breaking. I would highly recommend going to AMF over in centreville if you want a high quality bowling experience.

I've been to most of the Bowl Americas in NoVA and this is the best one. The staff is nice, friendly, and lax(in a good way) Other bowling alleys are sometimes stingey with their lanes and times, but not this one. I'm normally very strict about reviews but this place deserves five stars!

The people behind the counter were very polite and very helpful. The equipment is a little out of date and a little hard to use, but the employees are more than glad to help you sort things out. It was also on the pricey side at $6.25 per game. I would come here again, though.

The classic american bowling experience. I have been here several times and it seems like when you step in you enter a different time. The place screams mid eighties, from the patriotic paint theme, to the fading leather shoes, the bowling bar, and the score boards, which seem like time-bombs waiting to fall. The inside of the building is in "relatively" good shape and all of the lanes perform as they should. If you have an event where you would like to bowl in-expensively, or you just want to re-live memories of you with a mullet rolling strikes all night in your eighties apparel, this is the place for you.

Friendly employees here. Makes a huge difference when compared to other local bowling places, since we do this purely for fun and to relieve stress. Nice to have a smiling face take your money and give you food and so on. Instead of resentful bored annoyed attitudes. It's a simple thing but makes all the difference.

Pretty expensive for the old school amenities. Probably good if you just want to bowl and go one of the off peak times, but for a fun family activity it is lacking a bit, although I have to say my kids still had a great time.

New year's eve - wasn't packed at about 10PM which was good but the Caucasian lady at the main desk was extremely rude and acted like she hated her job. Was too worried about shoving her face with food then giving us the correct shoe size we wanted. Definitely do no recommend if she's there again! Horrible service

The front desk staff is great and the lanes are well kept... computers are outdated and not the easiest to use but who cares... The problem is with the cafe staff. The most rude, condescending, and incapable people I've ever met in the service industry. How hard is it to make a pepperoni pizza? 1 hour after ordering they bring us a burnt cheese pizza and give us a hard time about it... I understand not allowing outside food or drink... but at least hire someone who knows what they're doing... or let us order Marco's pizza!

Nice place to bowl but the food is very expensive. A large fry and medium drink cost me $10. As with all Bowl America centers, you can bowl unlimited games for only $8 from 9pm until they close Sunday through Thursday.

I just got off the phone with this place, specifically Debbie, and will not be going here nor recommend it to anyone. There is no pertinent information on the website that is actually helpful so I was forced to call and deal with the unsocial staff. Debbie was very rude, unhelpful and seriously lacking any inkling of customer service. I explicitly questioned if there was a one-time fee for night bowling and was responded to with one of the profound examples of ignorance I ever experienced. Not only the slow pace, but the condescending tone of her response would turn any potential customer away. Based on other recommendations, I would have to agree that management should take action with their staff since business is being lost due to your frontline employees. I will be going to AMF all because of Debbie; recommend you, reader, do the same.

DO NOT recommend! The bowling alleys are clean, the score system seems little outdated but that's not a big problem. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. We had to go around searching for the right size bowling balls and when we found them the staff told us to take only one since they were running short on the balls. So essentially there were 6 of us trying to bowl with one ball. The manager of the place kept staring at us throughout our game. Really freaked my cousins out. if that was not enough, in middle of our game our alley shut down. We kept resetting the game but nothing happened. The manager stood right next to us and did nothing to help. After 5mins of some sadistic joy he informed us that he shut the alley down purposely because we were "misusing" the alley! It really spoilt our evening. I love the game but definitely not going back to Bowl America in Chantilly again.

Even though I tipped you, you have decided to set a new low in my customer service experience. On top of that, when you couldn't fill up the pitcher because you were out of Blue Moon, you have decided to make up for it by giving us a glass of cheaper beer. It was not the cleanest. But it was a bowling alley. I was able to find a ball that fit my hand in weight quickly and easily. And it was not so ever crowded that people were falling over each other. We had five kids all under ten and for adults. It was a little hectic but the people are nice.

Never go to bowl America because it has bad management, they lie, and the shoe price is very high. It costs to much and the summer blast pass is a fake. Again never go there it sucks
