A traditional good bowling alley. Go for the Sunday night specials which are great with kids. Wouldn't bother going to the snack bar ever again. They take a bunch of orders and then don't know where the food is supposed to go. Plus a guy that's always there is also always rude so minus stars for that alone.

One of the only local bowling alleys but it still has a lot to offer. I grew up coming here and this alley has one of the best communities and staff. The scoring equipment is a bit out of date but if you can look past that, this is a great place to bowl.

Interior decor is dated and so is the equipment, but the stuff works and the prices are great (especially if you sign up for the blast pass)

Food is better than most bowling places, Even tho it may be a bit outdated. I've been over 50 times and never really had a bad experience. The staff at the bar and desk are always friendly, as well as the locals. Almost never a waite time on lanes depending on time of day and week. Kid friendly, reasonable prices, food is 8 out of 10.

A little expensive, but overall it's a place to have a lot of fun. Stay away from the cafe food and drinks!! All items were subpar and overpriced. Think of it as a 7-11 "food" bar.

A big thanks to Rick. Walked in Sunday morning after being away for the family for 3 weeks for predeployment training. The whole time I was away, my four-year-old daughter kept asking when we talked on the phone, when I came home, if we could go bowling. Open bowling was supposed to start at 2pm, but he got me in not even knowing this story. The father-daughter time meant the world to me and is something I'll remember for a long time. Thanks.

This is our second time here and really not impressed. The game got somehow jammed and their comps broke down, no scoring, no end of game. When my kids went to talk to them trying to figure out what they scored, they were rude, just plain awefull! Accused my kids of playing extra games and yelling at them. I gave them an option to apologize or face up a bad review. They were hostile with me on front of my five kids. It was the middle of the day..... there was hardly anyone there and they were talking me down, handling everything so poorly. They did say we are sorry BUT. I didn't figure what BUT they meant..... would not recommend!!!! I wish there was a negative review they deserve it, lol.

This is a very outdated bowling alley. No TV's, and they don't even have WiFi. You can't even make a call out of the building.

We had to move lanes because the pins were not calculating correctly and we got charged for it. After we moved lanes and played the first game we went to play a second game but was not sure how so got charged for that too. A 6 dollar game turned into a 12 dollar game. The staff did not understand that we did not know how to start a new game. Would not go again and would joy recommend it.

It’s an average bowling place. Nothing special. I think it is a little overpriced especially the food. Everything looks like it’s from the 1980’s. Even the machines are old. The place needs to be renovated and updated. The pins get stuck in the middle. And you can only have either bumper guards up the entire time or no bumper guards at all. There is no in between.

This is my go to Bowl America. Nice and helpful staff. Concessions are what you'd expect. Lane quality can vary, but that's probably because I usually go towards the end of the night during the week.

Went there with the kiddos bright and early on a Saturday morning. Great fun with our little ones while it wasn't crowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful getting our 2 and 5 year olds setup with shoes, balls, and they ramp to help them out.

Celebrated a birthday for my grandson there. The kids had a good time. It was reasonably priced for NoVa. Only issue, too cold inside! I, and others, had to stand in the southern facing entry to warm up every few minutes.

We had my son's birthday party at Bowl America today. It was fantastic. Tables with decorations set up when we arrived, and our party hostess Jenna was friendly and available to help with any questions or anything we needed. We had 10 kids and were given 3 lanes. The kids were able to bowl as much as they wanted in 2 hours. Jenna said they usually serve the food about halfway thru for a little break. So we did that and then the kids wanted to bowl some more. We saved about 15 minutes at the end for cake. Easy peasy. It was the lowest stress birthday party we've ever had. Classic American family bowling. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. Definitely recommend!

we ordered one pizza and it took more than 1 hour. And we didn’t even end up getting it. A party (that wasn’t even here when we ordered) asked for 10 pizzas and they couldn’t even give us our 1 pizza. Terrible experience. Don’t recommend.

Free games. Go online to Bowl America's web site and sign up for the blast pass. You immediately get it in your email and get 2 free games for all kids, and an adult. You just have to rent shows at $5 a piece ($2.50 for military). Use the pass as much as you want for the week. Deal is good for the entire summer. This location is not busy at all after 5pm, take your pick of lanes. Kids under the counter table height are free for shoe rentals. Owner is very nice as well. Bowling balls for kids (6lb and under) are a little sparce, but available. Spacious parking available.

Worse place ever! The employees are rude and horrible.... and this bowl America allows there employees to smoke weed in parking lot. Then come in and attend to kids parties! I’ve alre reported this to Corporate about my sons party! They did nothing! The little girl still works there! It’s absolutely disgusting!

We had fun, staff was nice. Had issues with the computer but my 2 yr old kept messing with it so to be expected. Old school programming. Food portions seemed a little pricey, overall quality of food and quantity left more to be desired. Lane was in good condition and we went on Friday at 6pm which is league night (didn't realize) and were able to get 2 lanes side by side, one for 4 adults one for 3 kids. Staff brought us ball chute for kids without having to ask and bumpers were good. Will play again.

My Friends for Life group and I went bowling once and we liked it. I had fun and the staff were nice. I even won a game and paid for my shoes and game. Even though the Dranesville Bowl America is closer, I like bowling.

As a person who loves old school, this is a great place. However, its upside is allso its downside. Because it is outdated, the lanes break down or are slower. Also, the staff ranges from good service to theysecretly hate you for coming at that time. So at times this place is great, and at other times it isnt so great

Yesterday we celebrated my son's 5th birthday at the Bowl America Burke. It was awesome. I am over 8 months pregnant and was looking for an easy, stress-free way to celebrate his birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make that happen. The whole party process went super smoothly. I called and left a message regarding reserving the party and was contacted the next day. I easily reserved over the phone with my credit card. I called a week later to give them the number of people attending and asked if I could bring my own decorations. When we arrived the day of the party, the tables were set up with white table clothes ready for me to set up my own stuff. The employee, Brian, who ran our party was awesome. His attention to detail was amazing. He knew my needs before I did and was very attentive. When a ball didn't make it down the lane, before I could even turn around to tell someone he was on top of it. The food was really good too! I would definitely recommend Bowl America Burke to any of my friends.
