Kind of an old school bowling alley. Others in the are have upgraded significantly, but if you want the 1980's feel, this is the one.

I am an active bowler and have worked at a bowling center in the past and I can appreciate that it's not a cheap sport and can understand charging $5 a game in some scenarios, however, this center has no business charging anywhere close to that. While they do have automatic scoring their system is ancient with flickering monitors and even with just 3 lanes operating you could hear the constant squealing of unoiled machines. I had stopped here planning on bowling for a few hours and after my third game I had enough and decided to leave -- and I'm extremely glad that I did when I found out that my bill was $16 for those 3 games! I ended up going to AMF Centereville Lanes and had an absolutely enjoyable experience and for only $10 to bowl for 3 hours. If you're looking for somewhere to bowl I would recommend you drive a few extra miles to another center and avoid this one if at all possible.

This bowl America is ridiculous and not in a good way. I called the day of with hours in advance of when we were to go bowling. About 15 of our friends were joining us so I asked to reserve lanes. The man I talk to on the phone asked for a $50.00 reservation fee. This is outrageous all the years I've been bowling never have I had to pay a reservation fee. How I fixed this problem. I called the bowl American in Manassas on Mathis Avenue. They did not ask for a reservation fee. They were the kindest helpful people. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT BALLS FORD ROAD BOWL AMERICA!

NOT RETURNING AFTER OUR FIRST VISIT! Took my 3 kids on a Saturday late afternoon to bowl and was greeted with rudeness. We first greeted the attendant, Liz, and she just looked at us like we’re from Mars. Looked at my kids and asked our shoe sizes and not even asking if we wanted bumpers for my young kids. We ended up going to a lane that does not have bumpers and we asked to be moved to a lane that has bumpers for my kids to enjoy the game, since the lane Liz gave us does not have it. It would’ve been nice to have someone asked us first thing if we needed bumpers lane for the kids, but LIZ just like to look and not have the decency to provide a good customer service. Throughout the night she was just miss attitude to us in general, not saying hello, thank you nor apologizing for the inconvenience. Even my six year old kid said she’s not nice :( Because of a bad experience, I’m giving this place a 1 rating. On top of that, their food was not that great either. Paid almost $10 for 2 chicken tenders and a handful of fries! Not worth taking my family here :(

It is your standard bowling alley. Nothing feature packed or extravagant here. Great place to take kids for an affordable and fun evening. Just make sure it is not a league night as they do not have any available lanes those nights.

This is a great, basic bowling alley. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pro shop staff in particular are great. It's not the closest alley to our home, but it's definitely our home alley.

This place is garbage. If you have somewhere else to bowl, do yourself a favor and go there. The shoes and balls are trash, they won't let you use slide rite bc they believe it will damage the lanes, which is bull, and the bar cuts you off way too early. The staff isn't very friendly either. Not an enjoyable experience at all.

Kind of pricey but everyone who worked there was very nice and helpful. The entire place was mostly clean with what looked like fairly current and fully operational equipment. Took my daughter and her friends for her birthday and they announced it over intercom and played her the happy birthday song. Was a good experience and would recommend this place to others.

We had 9 people to play originally and the rep told me we could have an extra lane when we have 10 or not people when I asked for 3 lanes. So, I brought a person and asked for another lane, then the same rep said he never mentioned exact number but you can have another lane when I have 12 or more people. WHAT A LIER thinking I'm a dumb or something? Smh. I'm not coming back to this old country style bowling place with WORST service I've ever had. ALSO, the balls are not coming out. The lanes I had were 19 and 20. Literally, this place just sucks from its service to everything else lol. Enough said.

Bunch of shady a$$ mother suckers with no idea whats going on. Treated us like lepers bc one of our party got sick in flu season! HAD 7, YES SEVEN "security officers" stop us on the way OUT!!!!! Only to call the cops on us?! Super glad we spent $500 dollars here. What a complete waste! And we were treated like complete trash! Would never go here again. Ever. Ever.

Based on the reviews we were not expecting much of an experience, but to our surprise, a Saturday afternoon with the toddlers was extremely enjoyable! Great snack bar, with plenty of options on food and drink. Friendly check in staff, very accommodating for family fun! Great memories for our two 1st time bowlers! Thanks Bowl America!

Regardless of time, we seem to get stuck beside others even when the entire alley is open and empty. I can't lower the score because of inconsiderate patrons, but the bathrooms were pretty gnarly when I needed to take my toddler son. We ultimately did not use the facilities...

Not much to look at from the outside, but the inside is clean. The lanes are well cared for. And amazingly, the pizza is very good! We took the kids for a couple of early games and they loved it! The staff was awesome and I was very impressed with the overall atmosphere. I can see us making more regular visits here.

The staff were all great. But, the prices were not worth the accomodations offered by the facility. Outdated equipment, old balls, and less than adequate seating available. This is a traditional bowling alley that thinks it is OK to charge an arm and a leg just to bowl, not worth the money. I will be bowling at Brunswick or another company that routinely updates their facilities.

Cannot Recommend this place. Went there for the first time last night and immediately had issues. When we got to the assigned lane the lights were off. Was told the lights were on (easy to see they were off), they could not get it working and switched us to another lane. Then more problems with it not keeping score correctly and skipping frames. Finally we decided to leave and asked for some compensation, they refused. Never going back.

Kids love birthday parties here. I'm not really a bowler but the staff is very nice. It's not really my kind of place but everyone seems happy there when I'm there. Losses a star for cleanliness and food quality but it is a bowling alley...so if you like to bowl, I think this is a pretty good place.
