Lane broke twice during the game. (We were switched lanes which is why they get two stars.) The bowling prices were steep for a week day (not busy) day time. The arcade games were either broke or broke down DURING play. The manager was clearly unpleasant to the staff.

I don't like the fact that when I asked if it was required that we rent and wear the smelly shoes that she said yes it is, so I did..okay whatever it's the rule. BUT why were my son and I the ONLY two people out of about 16 other people that had them on. Everyone else was bowling without them. I don't think we'll go back...not fair.

This is a great family time out. We really enjoyed ourselves. The workers were really nice. My one and only complaint was I wish the tables were cleaned before they gave us our lane. Everything else was great. The guys at the shoe rental and our hostess were very nice!

I came here with friends for a night out and o enjoyed it greatly. I'm not big into bowling so I did not partake in that activity. I did order the food which was good, a little salty for me but good bowling alley food. They have arcade games which I did play a few of and won some prizes. The pricing was very good and I'd happily come back and actually bowl this time around.

Fun atmosphere. Great special after 10pm for all you can bowl. Only problem was the server was not around for our first 2 games so we were having to go up to the bar for service. Only 1 person behind the bar so it took a while and games were paused for a length of time.

I have had a few of my daughter's birthday parties here over the yrs. I wont say its the best but it is definitelty not the worst either. Most of the staff is fairly friendly. The food is decent (for fast food/junk food). And who doesnt live bowling even if you can't bowl? It is definitelty a good place to cut loose and have some fun

Very expensive for a mid-Monday afternoon game, at over $6 a game and $4 for shoe rental, there are definitely better options. It's disappointing that the prices aren't different for children or seniors. The place was clean, so that's the only reason they got 2 stars. The balls were full of divets, and the lanes didn't have automatic bumpers, which means they were up for every bowler.

Kids love coming and bowling always get 2 lanes one for me and the wife and the other for the kiddos they love it I love how the inside has changed not so much on the out but come on and I'm sure you won't believe it either. Food is decent wild style fries my kids love and same with me and the boneless wings either sweet chili or honey bbq are to die for.

Today, my friends and I went to this bowling alley. We had a lot of people so we needed two lanes. The guy up front told us to wait 40mins. After about an hour, we still didn’t get the lane although I saw a lot of open lanes, so I went to talk to the manager. I believe the manager’s name is Debbie and she was really understanding and really generous. She told us the bowling was on her. I love to go bowling, so I’ve been to all the AMF in Vb, Chesapeake, and Norfolk, but this AMF definitely has the best customer service out of all the AMF. Thank you guys

If I could give 0 stars I would. The shift lead Jessica is probably the rudest person I’ve ever came in contact with. When my husband and I first arrived we asked the prices and she told us $4.44 a game so we told her we would use or Groupon instead because it was $19 for 2 hours and we had already bought it days before. Flash forward an hour later we go up to pay and she tell us we have to pay $56 because we didn’t give her the Groupon Up front even though we told her when we first got there we had a Groupon. Then she continued to get loud with us saying we couldn’t use it bc you can’t use a Groupon day of.... we bought the Groupon a week before coming and that’s not in the rules of the Groupon so she lied just to be difficult. Overall I would not give them my money she known to be rude and it’s just not worth the hassle when there are so many other great bowling allies. They are also not military friendly there so please BEWARE.

On March 12, 2019. I drove to the Lynnhaven bowling center off Lishele Dr. I went to the side door and it was locked. I looked into the center and lights were on inside. I drove around to the front doors which were locked. I noticed the hours of operation sign which showed the hours of operation as 0900a.m.-1100p.m. As I got back into the vehicle to leave another vehicle pulled up. I saw someone get out and I said to the guy, "The doors are locked". he looked at me funny so I made the statement again to which he replied, "I work here". He went to the door and was let inside. I guess the management and staff doesn't abide by what they advertise. Not the first time this bowling center has let me down by their actions but it will be the last.

Prices are just right for a good amount of bowling. Also don't let the outside of the alley fool you, the inside is absolutely up to date and looks fantastic. Food is average quality for a bowling alley, its no Cheesecake factory but its better than Wendys. One or two games and a pitcher of soda or beer will not hurt the wallet one bit. Newly renovated arcade area is also nice for those who want to hang out but not necessarily bowl.

If i could give it negative stars i would! The prices are TERRIBLE and the guy did not communicate very well. He told us it would be 4.95 per game plus shoes, however when i went to pay he said it would be 29.75! WE PLAYED ONE GAME! Needless to day we WILL NOT be going back! RIDICULOUS!!!!!

Revised review... Came in with our family and they were so rude when asked if there were any specials or if they had military discount. The manager even scoffed when asked. She said no discount on the weekends. It is disgusting to me when people forget that our that our service members serve every day and night even if it is a weekend or holiday. We spend a lot of money when we come here, I guess they aren’t I the business of making money. Or keeping customers. They will no longer have our family’s business Great hours and service. Very good prices. Fun place to go with my family.

Most everything at Lynnhaven is spectaxular including the Management. Its a shame the some league officers abuse privileges by discriminating Gainst league members the dont like due to race and sex!

The online special for Wednesday showed $8 all you can bowl, $3 drink specials, $5 flat breads after 9pm. When I showed this to the bar tender, he could not find the "button on the computer" for that special. Ended up talking to a manager who stated that he cannot give me any discounts as they do not have it in the computer. This is a classic BAIT AND SWITCH and FALSE ADVERTISING. They manager politely gave use a few $5 gift cards to cover this up. However it does not magically make the issue disappear. SHADY BUSINESS TACTICS. No longer will they get any money from me.

I visit AMF Lynnhaven Lanes frequently, and it's a great establishment when it comes to business operations -- things like customer service, lane conditions, cleanliness, etc. are excellent. However, if you truly enjoy bowling, you may get frustrated with the disco ball lights and the occasional child -- or adult in some cases -- playing around on the lane approach.

Best place to bowl at in Virginia Beach! The staff here are super nice and the atmosphere is great, too! The prices are very reasonable considering the comparable prices at other locations. Leagues here are the best, even for kids! My entire family have been on leagues here for a long time and its more and more fun every year! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Look, overall everything was good on my visit, staffs are nice, helpful, atmosphere is good, price is too high and the balls could be cleaner but that's not why I gave them 2 stars, it's the lady who works inside the cafeteria who thinks that she's a smart ass. First, there was a guy in front of us who bought a beer and they spent 5 mins chatting even we're standing behind them. Anyways my friend bought a bottle of water and I saw a dispenser with water n cups on the side but it's near the "staff only" area so I asked her if the water is free for customers. Since the music was too loud so I didn't hear her but she probably said yes so I tryna ask her to repeat that and said "excuse me?" And the next thing she said was "The answer is either yes or no so it's yes." and kinda smile like haha so fk funny. I was shocked becuz I smiled the whole time and my "excuse me" is not rude at all, and idk where did that attitude came from or she was tryna make a joke or what but that sounds like a rude employee wanna act smart and talk back to her customers. It's a shame that your coworkers are nice but people like you just like to act smart and screwed your store's ratings. I hope she gets fired immediately or learn how to talk like a normal person or else I will never come back.

This place is great for family fun time and also fun with friends! Great deals on bowling throughout the week as well. $2.22 Tuesday is awesome. Shoes, games, pizza slices, PBR cans, and Miller Highlife cans are all $2.22 after 9pm. I would suggest it to anyone who wants a nice place to go.

Great time with friends when we went. Check for online specials on Groupon before going and be sure to call to make sure no leagues are playing on all lanes. It isn't posted online unfortunately. Pricing on food/drink is movie theatre high and quality is about as low at this chain. Good ole days are gone unfortunately of an inexpensive time with family and friends at the local bowling alley. (Old man moment).

Clean alley and decent lanes. Had a few problems with the pin setter last time. I almost always have issues with the bar/wait staff being slow. Maybe they're understaffed, but it always takes a long time to get a drink or food order. Last time I was there an hour before even being asked if I wanted a drink.
