This Bowling Alley is included in the category of Bowling alley.
This is a really nice bolling alley - they also have arcade games as well.
Apparently lane 21&22 had a poltergeist. We were getting strikes with pins still standing, knocking down pins from the gutter, pins not being counted, pin reset machine did not always put ten pins in place. Add to this, unsupervised pre-school kids wandering into our lane. They had these cool ball ramps the kids could use to get the ball down the lane. Trouble was, over the course of two games, the parents never got it through their heads to help the kids and keep them out of the next lane. There was a limited size and weight of bowling balls. The bowling balls were greasy from use with no towels or anything the wipe them off. Then there were the pins that would mysteriously show up in out lane, several feet from the pin reset.
Had a great time here. Food was good. The games were fun. Only downside is my lane broke down and waited 20 mins to be told we would have to move but by then it was time to go.
Lots of fun bowling! The staff were friendly & helpful.
Fun time. Nice change from the usual.
Love bowling in the leagues there. Everyone is friendly.
Friendly staff, and took care of the out of hand guest pretty fast.
Fun atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good arcade selection. Plenty of lanes. Bathroom facilities need attention.
So I am waiting based off of my experience there the total atmosphere with kids but not the food. Food I have nothing to speak on because we did not order food. when you get there there is a great place to take photos and that is where these photos below are taken. we went on a busy Saturday when it was raining so I bet everybody wanted to go and we were still able to get away and quickly. for that it is nice. headed to your ass-year-old with us who loved the experience there are a lot of lights and there's a black light and there's lots of stuff all over the walls and it is really fun and entertaining with TVs and all kinds of comfortable seating. after we pulled there is also an arcade the arcade was a ton of fun for families my child absolutely love the arcade there is a wide range of games and prizes for children of all ages. We really had a blast here
Lots of fun. Good atmosphere. Surprising food for a bowling alley. Large drinks.
Kegler's AMF Lanes is a family friendly bowling establishment. There are other things to do there besides bowling- shoot pool, arcade games and there's a tv in every lane. If you're a veteran please mention it because Kegler's offers discounts to veterans and active duty and retired military personnel.
Love to bowl and there managers are great really a customer first attitude
Great food served with a smiling face. Love this restaurant. I wish there were more out here
Husband and I decided to go for our date night. They were very busy but the line for bowling moved quick enough. The manager rung us up and she was incredibly kind and interactive. Bowling was super fun and the arcade selection was decent. We paid $23 and some change for 1 game (10 rounds) + 2 pairs of shoes.
We had a great time! Our group was pretty large and we didn't have a reservation but we were accomadated right away, even on a Saturday night. I will go back again soon.
Super Friendly employees and great food. Always a great experience
Amazing. Great fun for all ages
First time here. Nice modern bowling alley.
Awesome night to go bowling! Joey, one of the staff members was AMAZING! He was very personable, funny and full of bowling advice and wisdom! We'll definitely be visiting again soon!
Great environment. Fun and friendly staff
Just played a game 2 kill time. I was dwn visiting from N.y.
Better than it used to be. The specials they have make it worth it. Friendly staff.
This place stunk...
Had a blast
The bowling is fun especially on Tuesdays because you the $2.22 deal. There's a lot of noise and and an exciting atmosphere. However, the staff at the counter (who you only have to see twice during your time there) are somewhat rude and never seem even remotely happy.
Went to Keglers to celebrate our daughters birthday. Their was 10 of us including 2 little ones. They had a ball. So did the rest. Thanks Kegler's.
Great fun. The atmosphere was happy and upbeat.
Summer pass is a good deal. We always have fun.
Remodel is top notch, prices are too.
Kegler's AMF was a great surprise! We were looking for a family outing and decided to go bowling. What we didn't expect was a bowling alley that is clean, state of the art, chock full of excellent arcade games and with great food and a full bar with reasonably priced drinks. The staff is friendly and attentive - Yvonne and Courtney are great bartenders who even took the time to recommend drinks. Liz, the supervisor, and the young man at the desk made sure we had all we needed. The arcade has brand new and different games - not the same tired stuff one expects elsewhere. This place is worth the drive - we will definitely be back!
Had lots of fun with the BF! It can be expensive but with proper planning you can keep costs down. We went late on a Sunday to score some discounted bowling that wouldn't break the bank and we're very pleased with the experience
Your average bowling alley. If you go during the summer be sure to get the summer pass. you get your money's worth after two visits. The bartenders are very nice.
The lanes were all lit up and drink prices were some of the best in the city
This the second time we took our family to AMF Kegler's and our lane broke. There is never enough help to correct the problems, and our family has left without completing our games. It's disappointing that a family outing has been cut short twice and our money wasted because you keep the place so understaffed.
Nice facility. Much better than the bowling allies I remember going to as a child. It's clean, energizing and lively. The arcade area is needlessly pricey though. Kids played Crossy Road, game lasted 7 seconds and it cost $1.50. Other than that, good stuff.
UVA hosted a family night for there employees and family's...it was awesome...way to go uva
Very clean an updated. The staff is very friendly, very accommodating. Had a family pre-wedding get together. Had a lot of fun. Recommended for all ages.
We always have fun here!
Nice facilities. New arcade games with virtual token and ticket storage.
They need to upgrade bumpers. It's annoying when you can't play a game with kids who need it but the adults don't want ot. Also they gave us dirty section to play in and we ended up having to move the left over cups and food dishes ourselves.
Fun place great food me and the kids had a blast
My daughter birthday was a excellent experience. Everything was prepared the food was great server was very helpful. I will recommend to everybody.
Outstanding service. Very clean facility
Extremely expensive...and the staff was rude too...
Nice place to hangout with friends and family.... you will definitely enjoy this place . worth going !
Nice and clean, friendly people, If you don't want to bowl, you can play pool.
Usually not too busy when I take my sons. Staff is fairly helpful and polite. Always have a good time here.
We bowl here quite often and the wait at the bar is always lengthy. Tonight it was down right ridiculous. It was very busy because of the Tuesday special and the bar was horribly understaffed. I would have had several more drinks than I did but I got tired of waiting. To top it all off the lanes did not work properly for most of the evening. It seems this place is geared way more towards kids looking to play around with their friends than to serious bowlers. Ive overlooked some of these issues in the past but tonight we were so disappointed that I think we will be taking our business to the alley in Culpeper. Such a shame that a nice place like this is so poorly managed.
I love to bowl and the place is off the chain to meet new friends
This place is great! Very friendly staff and Jenn is the best!
Be sure to go on Tuesdays when they have their $2.22 per game rate!
We love to come here. Sliders are delicious, unexpected surprise for a bowling alley.
Pool tables dimly lit and dirty. Hard making out the 8 ball from the 2. 7. 4.
The staff here is really helpful, nice and they have a good time with their guests. The arcades are fun, especially liked the walking Dead game, and air hockey. I had the foot long chili cheese dog and it was pretty good! I asked for an alcoholic drink they didn't have on the menu and they were able to create it for me. I also enjoyed the big screens in the bowling lanes.
Very nice bowling alley! New and updated on the inside, private booths , and drinks and food !
Prices to high, drinks water down for what you pay for them. I won't go back
Had a great time would highly recommend
Great front desk. Nice place to go.
We had a great time bowling here. There were enough lanes that we didn't feel packed in, even though there were a lot of people there. Everything seemed well maintained and it was clean. It was pretty pricey, and the the prices aren't very transparent. They open a tab so you don't have to go back and wait in line and you just push a button to start a new game, but I have no idea how much that costs. You could go for the specials rates but I'm sure it will be super busy. Otherwise, decent food and the staff was very nice and helpful.
This is one of the worst bowling alleys I've ever been in. Lanes constantly breaking down and poor service are trademarks of this center. However, they are the only bowling alley around, so you have no choice but to go there
Love the bowling .. unfortunately the beer and the drinks are overpriced in the quality of the food isn't the best what do you expect to the bowling alley... The only way you can afford is it with coupons.. if they lower the price they would get more bowlers.. if a place looks busy and brings in more people.
It's not a bad bowling alley. The only issue (a big one) they have is that they have one person working at the counter during the weekdays. It literally took me 40 minutes to pay, pick up my shoes, and get to a lane. It was fine during the weekend.
Amazing summer deals! So much fun!
Everything is pretty good but bowling balls are old and need replacement.
Loved this alley 25 yeats ago, and its even better today!
Good for bowling. Alcohol drink menu is the best menu they have. Their food menu is limited choices and if you have any food allergies or dietary restriction you can't eat here. Pool tables not so great . At times the owner is there not aware he's being observed , personally think he's loud and not professional in his displays.
The service was very slow, went for a work event and they knew we'd be there ahead of time. Took a long while to get shoes. Multiple people in the group waited 30+ min to get food that they hadn't even received up to 2+ hours after ordering.
I love to bowl but there is always a waiting. Never have all the lanes been open when I'm there.
fun and affordable bowling. i do wish they had a slightly larger selection of public balls. bathrooms need some work as well. they were a bit dirty. food looked awesome and they had a good adult beverage selection
The place was awful, Everytime we go there it's nothing but problems
I go here with a few friends at least once every other week. Great experience every time. Can’t complain at all.
Clean place lanes are nice. Pool tables look kinda shabby but bank well. Had a great time.
Great bowling. Good, friendly staff all around. Clean facility. And the tacos are delicious. Easy decision when looking for something to do.
We had fun! The kids love it here!
Holy moly is this place expensive! We didn't even bother with food because getting service was so slow. But, the actual bowling was fun.
Jen is the best and we had a great time
Great bowling alley friendly staff ad great food
It's ok wish it was made like uptown alley RVA
Place was basically full on a Saturday day, no bartender. Constantly had to wait for drinks and they wouldn't open a tab. Someone paid cash ended up getting my bill, the person next to me had food on one of my bills. All of it could've been avoided if one person worked the bar and a bunch of other customers felt the same. Pricey, but what bowling alley isn't.
Delicious food, cold beer, camaraderie...it just keeps getting better!
Expensive on a sat night
Good food
Nice place can get really crowded on certain nights. Lanes are really slick and food is good.
It took forever to get shoes and to check out. I wish they had a separate check out lane
I went bowling with my family, was tired and not really in the mood when I arrived. But, the staff was helpful and efficient, the atmosphere good and bowling was fun! Highly recommend the place for a fun evening with family or friends.
Has gone downhill fast. Service sucks and food quality is horrible!
Great place to hang out! Very handicapped friendly!!
I remember when bowling was a cheap option. $75 for a family of four to play two games and rent shoes. Not counting food or arcade.
Lots of fun
Very good lanes, nice staff, expensive.
Our students came there for a field trip. Liz as so friendly and helpful. She is a wonderful person. Thank you from all of us for a fantastic day.
Very nice place and very fun!
I took my son there for a bowling tournament great friendly staff excellent bowling alley to hang out and socialize
People very curious great time
Okay and relaxing.
Supper over priced for a bowling alley. Never had to pay a shoe rental at a bowling alley before. Didn't have any special deals on the weekend which was kinda ridiculous. Maybe thats why there weren't really people there. Also was disappointed in cost of drinks, and no nacho cheese for fries.
Fun arcade and great new bowling lanes just installed!! Really improved my game by taking advantage of those summer fun passes. The new lanes and new oil machine really elevate this location to be competitive with any I've been to.
Bartender was slow and rude to people who were not regulars
Pricey in the evening . Lots of fun for the family
We went in a group of adults to celebrate my friends birthday and it was a good place to have fun. The bartender with dreads with very friendly and made sure we were very well taken care of.
fun, clean bowling and arcade. nice people, but slooooow food service and check-in. Great for toddler on a rainy day.
Great bowling experience for small groups. Long wait times for food. If you don't have another group across from you it's a very comfortable experience and they offer luxuries for less experienced bowler. Most of my problems are based on wait times for food and the rush of other groups around 8 that also cause a wait.
The arcade is the perfect way to take a break between games, for scatterbrained teenagers.
When going to a bowling alley, one has to understand the expectations of the environment. Keglers isn't filthy or run down with broken things everywhere. It is a bowling alley but it has upgrades, the staff is helpful. It is a fun activity to enjoy with friends and family.
Great bowling place.
Needs more pinball.
Terrible service. Not a single price was listed. Ordered boneless wings told me i would get six of them was served 5 bone in wings. Then they tried to change me 100 dollars for 3 games of bowling. Will never recommend them to anyone and they will never have my business again.
Had lots of fun
Pretty nice, a little expensive for a family of four on sunday. Food not that good.
Really fun has an arcade, what looked like a bar, a restraunt, and a bowling alley.
Friendly service great food
It was another event going on to the open public and I had different people come over to my feed and help themselves. I had 8 kids totally and they were put on one lane until the middle when I notify the manager Jennifer in which she switch to two lanes and we did get a free bowling coupons but nothing was knocked off my full price. My kids was not comfortable because it was so packed kids was coming over to them we had to watch our food n cake n gifts so no one could take it. I did a survey a week ago it said someone will contact me and they have not yet.
I have not been bolling for many years. It was as fun as I remember. The facility was clean and well maintained. The snack bar offering was good bar food. With very friendly staff. Prices are a little high I was disappointed that they offer a discount to league members. But I understand rewarding loyal customers. Fun for all ages
It was a good evening with my girlfriend and a few other couples. Definitely worth the 20 dollars.
Went the other day with family and it was fun. I don’t remember bowling being so expensive though. We couldn’t afford a second game which was a bummer. I wish it was better lit in the lounge areas of the lanes. Otherwise the bowling ball organization and cleanliness is top notch. Notice: if you have a baby the changing table in the women’s restroom is completely obsolete Because it is placed way too high on the wall. I notified the staff.
Need better food and the service could be better. But overall a good place to drink and have fun.
Its the only place to bowl in Cville but it would still get 5 stars even if there were more.
Came here on a fairly busy Saturday afternoon and was highly disappointed with the technical issues and lack of service my group experienced. During the course of the one game we were able to complete, our lane got stuck 4 times. When we reached out each time to get the problem fixed, it took 25-30 minutes for someone to actually get around to addressing the issue. Furthermore, we were told that the reason our lane kept getting stuck was because one of our bowlers (a 7 year old child) was using one of their 6lb balls. However, each of the times that the lane was stuck, it was not, in fact, after the 6lb ball had been bowled. I understand that it was a busy day, but that does not excuse the fact that we spent more time waiting for problems to be fixed than we spent playing the game.
Super fun and kid friendly. They even have cute little dinosaur ramps for tiny tots to use. Deff plan to go back!
Great place for hanging out with friends and family while bowling.
Had some issues getting pizza on time and it was burnt, the manager was super helpful and attentive and refunded the pizza as well as giving us a coupon for free bowling. I love bowling here, they have a great selection of arcade games as well. The staff is very friendly! 10/10 would bowl again!
Went there with the family ... and also bought their summer pass for the grandkids. Had a great time!
Fun for the whole family. We took our Allstate office out for some team building and games. Not too crowded on a Friday night. Great service from the employees.
The place was very clean and there are special days you can go to for special pricing. However, be warned that right now their service is very slow because they are hiring for people so expect longer wait times. When we went on a Friday night the bowling lanes kept breaking and malfunctioning on us and it took us being moved to two lanes before we were able to have a stable game. They did fix the issue though. We also tried the arcade they have. It has a decent amount of games in there and tickets are loaded to the game card which is a plus, but the prize pool they have for cashing in tickets is mostly disappointing. Overall it's a great place to go if you want a game night out, just dont expect to be amazed by it.
Fun place to visit, but be careful with hidden fees. I was charged extra 27 dollars for something I was told it was complementary at first by a different employee.
It was pretty fun, the only thing is that the food takes a bit too long to get ready
Went here for husband's work Christmas party. Place is nice. Staff is friendly. Bartender is FANTASTIC.
It was fun but they have some hidden charges be careful...
Had a great time with family
Great fun! Even though it was CRAZY busy on a Tuesday night, my friends and I were able to get a lane within 5 minutes. They didn't have one of my friend's shoe size, but given how slammed they were this is not that surprising. The atmosphere is fun, kind of club-like. They have a great selection of snacks and beverages (alcoholic and not). The prices are what you'd expect, and with free refills on non-alcoholic drinks. It's a fun place to hang out! I don't bowl often, so I won't comment on the quality of bowling facilities as I can't really compare. It all seemed good to me!
$2 Tuesdays has changed. Over $5 for shoes and $2.49 per game. Called earlier today and and last week, and they told me they still had the $2 Tursday deal, but they didn't say that is NOT $2 shoes and $2 games like before. Auto score keeper kept missing strikes and spares -Not the ones you want missed. Staff did come and help each time it happened, but we'd have to wait.
Good for a few games of bowling. Went with friends. Food and drinks (non alcoholic) were quite expensive as was she rental but I guess that's to be expected.
Grandchildren favorite place to have fun!
We had my grandson’s birthday party at AMF Kegler's Lanes. The birthday package included both bowling and arcade. The party was a success for both kids and adults alike. Food was really tasty and plentiful. The employees were friendly and attentive. The place was clean (I am particularly thankful that the bathrooms were well taken care of). A great place for families.
Excellent place for
This place is fine but incredibly overpriced due to being the only bowling alley in a 40 mile radius. I think the normal price is like $7 a game plus $5 shoe rental. The price changes depending on the day and doesn't seem to be listed on their website (big suprise). The pizza isn't very good and runs over $20. On the plus side the lanes and restrooms are clean, and the facility looks modern. I've paid for a couple of parties here for unlimited pizza and bowling for 2 hours and the food doesn't come out fast enough; if I schedule two weeks in advance for a time please have pizza ready for the scheduled time, not 35 minutes after we start bowling.
A family fun bowling alley with a bar is my type of place. I came here on Tuesday After 8pm for their Special: $2.22 Games $2.22 PBR Beers and $2.22 for $5 Arcade Cards. That's a pretty good deal when you're over 21 on a night out with family members or friends. Parking was easy and we could enter from either side of the big alley that sits at the back of the shopping center. Their fountain drinks were pretty pricey as it's over $3 for a soda so we just had beer and food. A few days later, I realized that I misplaced my wallet and called the bowling alley. Melissa was nice enough to take a few minutes going around trying to find it. Although it wasn't there, it was a really kind gester that won't go unappreciated.
The bowling was fun the arcade room would have been nice if half the games were working
If there were any other option in this town I would take it. Service is perhaps the slowest I’ve ever experienced. It took me longer to wait in line to pay than it did to bowl. No exaggeration. Bathrooms were filthy. Did I mention how slow the service was? Every thing about this place was frustrating and sub par.
Good for some family fun. Handicap accessible.
We went here for the $2 Tuesday deal, which the website states starts at 8 pm. We arrived at 8 pm, and the line to get in was out the door. We waited in line for an hour just to get a lane, and when we went to get drinks after getting the lane, they informed us that the $2 Tuesday deal only took place from 8 pm to 9 pm. The website did not accurately reflect this, and I was pretty frustrated with the poor efficiency of getting a lane and then missing out on the deal because of it. Overall, we still had a good time bowling, and it was a nice, clean place. The food is pretty expensive for what you get, but it tasted good. I'd go back now that I know what to expect.
Really fun and good service but the arcade could use some better prizes.
Fun n exciting.
Great family atmosphere
The specials are very misleading on their website. We went to have $2.22 Long Islands on Tuesday because it says it starts at 8:00PM, when leaving we looked at the receipt - that was not the case. Called, and was told that they only run that special from 8:00PM - 9:00PM (The website did not say that at all).
Sad, machine were having many issues, Friday and Saturday price's for family fun night are out of this world. Family of six getting shoe's and bowling three games was over $150 and a couple of pitcher's over $33 makes going there not worth the enjoyment once a year if that
The renovations that were completed a while ago have done wonders for this place. It has a much newer and cleaner feel. Also, the deals offered on certain days of the week are a real bargain for anyone looking to save a few bucks.
Go to watch my 85 year young mom oh she's on a Senior League which is great it keeps her active one day a week the whole place is booked just for them .they treat you like family it's a great place for all ages there's a game room for the very young love it
It's well organized and the staff did a good job. Don't like the video screens above the pens. Pointless and too distracting.
I was at a birthday party and i got too play as much game as i want
Drama with food staff.
It was ok. Good atmosphere but the ball return and pin set up was unpredictable. Maybe we should have asked for a different lane.
More expensive than I expected, I paid $38 for two games for two people. Other than that, it's good. They skip ball sizes, so my girlfriend and I had to use balls that were either slightly too heavy or too light, but it isn't a big deal. I wouldn't tell anyone to avoid this place, but there are cheaper options not too far away. The service was great though, everyone was quite nice.
Worst Lanes I have ever bowled on. The place looks nice and clean inside but there lanes suck big time. Don't waste your money. Go to Valley Lanes instead. We bowled there the night before and loved it. Had Lane 23 at Valley Lanes. There Lanes where awesome and the ace is clean and friendly.
It's VERY expensive & the food prices are even worse. The staff is very friendly & the bowling is fun. Their summer game passes are awesome!!
Great atmosphere and solid equipment.
Cool spot...food expensive though
A family favorite for years! Keglers is always trying to imorove the customer's experience and fun! The kids even love the arcade with the wall sized Space Invaders and the best air hockey table in the state.
