My experience did not start out well due to technical difficulties in the lanes. YBUT staff and management here goes above and beyond! They were all kind and really cared about my family having a good experience. You do not commonly this kind of service these day. Debra was a rockstar and the young woman at the register was AMAZING! Customer service was awful. We were there for about 3 hours and we saw the waitress twice - once to order and once to get the food. We had 6 people and we asked for 2 lanes but were told we couldn't have 2. Employees had attitudes. Just a very bad experience!

It was a fun outing with friends and the shoe rental desk was fast and very helpful. However, the bad rating is due their concession/bar area. It was definitely under staffed and poorly kept. With not enough clean glasses and only one bar tender that has no notion of time management. If the place was kept a bit cleaner maybe it would've had a better rating.

Very friendly staff. Food is as expected for a bowling alley. Cost seems a bit high. The lanes and computer systems are in desperate need for updating. The pin resetter glitched several times. The lane was not true. The bumpers for children can not be reset between players. Checking in and out was extremely slow.

Hadn't been bowling since i was a little girl. Had so much fun with the family here. The food could be better for the prices they charge but i will definetly go back. The workers are friendly also.

If your planning on joining a league I would reconsider before joining at AMF Indian River Lanes. There Management is rude and lack any customer service. In an industry that has been retracting for years you may want to work hard at keeping your customers instead of chasing them away.

Fun times, it is a very nice bowling alley. I was told the pins are very offset by someone that knows bowling, which makes it hard to get strikes. Prices are average. Service was good no long waits.

Building seems a little outdated but revamped with newer technology. House bowling balls all on just a few racks at the far end of the bar. Good service but only one server could keep a tab open and could not go to the bar for drinks or tab without getting the server.

I visited AMF Indian River. I was asked if I wanted to add fries to the pizza kids meal that cost $6.09. The fries added were listed as "loaded fries" and cost $6.58. When I asked the waitress why they would upsale a handful of fries that can be added to an appetizer for $3, to a kids meal for more than the price of the kids meal, I got a blank stare. I then proceeded to pay for my games and shoe rental. I was charged for an extra shoe rental. The erroneous charge will be put back in my account in a couple of days. I then left only to end up at the pediatrician's office the next day because my son got food poisoning from the pizza and fries meal. I called to let them know about the food poisoning and have still not been able to reach anyone. Apparently they don't answer the phone and their mailbox is full. Horrible customer service, customer care, hell customer everything

I bowl on a league here and they really do pay attention to serving you right. The people are nice. And they will never let you down. How ever in the summer I do recommend a summer pass to lower the prices.

5 stars; not for being the most modern bowling alley. It's not. But the employees are GREAT! And the food was really good as well. They are super friendly and just give you a great experience. Loved it!!!

I suggest a reflective strip on the lip at the lane. One in the party stubbed a toe and another tripped. Service was great, though. Food was ok.

Bowling experience was very good. But the guys playing next to us were so rude and annoying. I would prefer to see the people next to me next time i go before playing. They ruined our whole experience and play. But still I would recommend bowling here. The games are quite good. Good food with little bit more prices but its fine. I will be there very soon.

AMF has great bowling specials for the summer. Shoes are relatively new. However the food was less then great. I ordered the loaded fries. Fries were loaded with flavorless liquid cheese with a tiny bit of toppings. The actual venue seems relatively out of date and music system seemed not fully functional.

Needs an actual arcade. Only has a few drop claw machines and 3 pool tables. However they do have a full alcohol bar which I like. And of course bowling lanes. The specials they run is are good. Staff is nice. But he could use some remodeling.

Arrived around 6 pm on Saturday, the place was not crowded which was a plus. Decor is a little dated and the food was below par. We ordered a sampler platter...very salty and visually unappealing, we were unable to finish consuming what we ordered. Overall, the waiter was very nice and I would definitely go again. Maybe dine somewhere else or select something different from the menu.

I had a bad experience here.The costumer service was very bad.Also I had played two game before I had I got food that I order when I first walked in.They don’t even cover up their hair while cooking the food for the customers.I had a pretty bad experience here I would not recommend coming here.

They are not setup to support a large party. We had 50 people here with one server who was also managing the bar. The place was dark and loud despite our event was at 1 PM. The food that they suggested for 50 people was not enough. Lastly, it was very packed with people.

Staff was friendly and helpful even when they were extremely busy on Saturday night. I'd recommend coming here to bowl and grab a beer. It's always cheaper if you don't go on a Saturday night tho.

Staff is friendly, kind of a darker lighting atmosphere than other bowling alleys. Lanes are ok once you get used to the extra dots on the approach. Food is good. Not opened in the AM during the week is the only con. Not opened until 5PM during the week.

We were there for my nephew's birthday party. Everyone had a great time, but the service was AWFUL. The server kept forgetting things, and everyone's orders were taking forever to come out. Not just our group, but everyone around us as well. I tried to go directly to the concession/cafe area, and they said they *couldn't* take my order because they didn't have access to a cash register-only the server could help. It took nearly 45 minutes to get 2 bottles of water, a small soda, a pretzel, and a bottle of beer. I won't recommend this place to anyone, unless they eat first and go in completely hydrated.

The alley is going thru ownership changes... music cuts in and out... last call was at 10. Very unorganized, but great for parties and families. Lots of parking, plenty of shoes and bowling balls, a pool table and arcade, as well.

Dirty old outdated, not enough balls, very expensive 8$ for 6 miniature wings(looked like baby pigeons wings they were so small) , food took over 1 hr for burger, then had to wait another 30 for fries, then worker kept coming over trying to sell more food, bartender kept disappearing, cosmic. Bowl was more like 1 strobe light. Multiple issues with lanes, Never again

Friendly staff, I wish they would update the equipment. I'm assuming they were short staffed after ten pm last night because my friend ordered nachos and waited 20 minutes and the cheese sauce wasnt even hot. My other friend waited about 15 minutes for his $6 dollar fries, so please eat before you come unless you feel like waiting.

We had a very kind woman as our server. We had a baby making a mess and our large group tried our best to clean up, but she always had our eye on us and gave us new straws and napkins and kept telling us we didnt have to. When we arrived at 6:30 on Tuesday, the guy told us we could pay half off the games if we waited till 7pm. Very helpful information. I like that they looked out for us while we were there. :-) We had a great time with as much fun as amateurs can have.

The manager Brian, is great however, his cook burned EVERYTHING and one of the servers is extremely rude... calling people the "B" word. Aside from a few needed upgrades, the rude server and the burned food, this is a nice family friendly place.

Lanes are okay, service could be a bit better. I've never had a night in which the scoring machine didn't have a problem. The wait staff is quite personable though. Wait until 9 on Monday nights because the leagues take up all the lanes.

I was very unimpressed with this place. The price to bowl is pretty cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for. The food is entirely too expensive and not very good. You'd come out better buying a red baron pizza than getting one there.

We were there for almost 3 hours and after asking several times for a waitress (all we needed was something for the kids to drink) 5 minutes before we were leaving the front desk lady brought out a cup of fruit punch (there were 6 of us). As for the bowling, we all had a great time but when you push the help button cuz the balls stuck or the machine goes wacky, no one comes. 1 waitress to 40 lanes is someone being cheap.

my daughter's school did their final field trip there. very nice staff. and the kids had a great time! they opened exclusively for them since it was 1230 in the afternoon, and everything was ready to go whem they got there. including the 6# bowling balls at each lane.
