Sadly the only real bowling alley in Fredericksburg currently. Bowling lanes were ok but seating and bowling areas very messy. Bar area was the worst set up I've seen at a bowling alley. Guy behind the counter looked barely qualified to pour a beer nevermind mix a drink. He should stick to washing the glasses but he wasn't doing a good job of that either. For the amount of people this place brings in they should be able to afford to clean up the place and hire a real bartender.

We went here just based on being midpoint on a trip. Although the traffic up route 3 is miserable this place was nice. There wasn’t much wait to get food, beer and drinks. It was clean and staff friendly. We went with little kids so they were fast at bringing a ramp and putting up bumpers too.

Fun place for the family to go bowling. Price is reasonable and they have many lanes available. Ramps are available for the younger kids. Only complaint is the seating is awkward. Does not have the traditional seating near the lane but tables that are out of the way so you either sit far from the lane or everyone stands.

My wife and I recently went here for a birthday party for their 8 year old son. So while the 20 kids bowled and had fun a few of us also had to have our own competition match so we bowled a few games (actually one and a half games, they cut us off because of the time)! Since this was a birthday it was a pizza party for 20 kids plus adults. The pizza for the party was not bad but and there was also chicken strips and fries. We ordered two cheeseburger w/fries to go which turned out to be really good (sorry forgot to take a picture). This was the first time we have been to this bowling alley since we only go bowling when we go to birthday parties. Since I really did not count I would say there is about 40 lanes and there was plenty empty since it was Saturday late afternoon. Yes, it is very colorful in the bowling alley and there are large TV screens at the other end of the lanes for watching music videos, funny home videos and movies. There is a snack bar to get something to eat and a bar that serves alcohol if you want a beer while you bowl. There are also various arcade games to play if that is what you like to do. Over all it is a nice place to spend a day bowling with family and friends (or having a birthday party).

It's pretty reasonable if you have decent shoes you don't need to rent none. If you have a celebration you can get a bowling pin for the person ( example ) birthday or what ever occasion you might have and have everyone sign it for them .. real cool. They accommodate people with special needs or groups. They have some food and drinks.

We frequently come here for our Summer Camp for Boys & Girls Club. We bring about 30 kids. From the beginning of setting it all up with Claire from Corporate , to the execution with Austin and Jason at the site, everything just went so well. The whole AMF team really works well together. Austin helped us with the kids by letting them pay for their own food and we were able to teach them how to handle a transaction. He never complained, sighed, or otherwise made us feel unwelcome in any way. He seemed happy to be there and excited to help us. Jason helped us with the rest of our experience. Our kids got balls stuck, changed their minds about the gutter guards, and all other regular kid stuff, and he seemed pleased and eager to be able to meet all of our needs. Very blown away with the display of cleanliness, friendliness, flexibility, and teamwork. We love AMF! (I personally didn’t even know it existed until I took our kids on a field trip)

Went bowling in the middle of the afternoon. When we first got there, wasn't alot of people so that was good.....however....we were a group of 2, clearly a couple on a date and there was a ton of free lanes available and a group with about 7 kids was placed right next to us. This made it hard for us to enjoy one another and to enjoy bowling. That was the only reason for a star missing. The lanes were kept up, the place was clean and staff was friendly. This alley is a little older than the paragon down the street, that's why we chose it....we wanted a little less busy.

We scheduled a catering (7 hours before we wanted to be there). For $280.00 we got unlimited bowling, shoes, unlimited food (we had to pick to items) unlimited soda/water and 2 pitchers of beer. Server excellent, food hot. There was 7 of us. I recommend if you have a party of 5 or more to do this. Fantastic time

Came here about a month ago for a friend's birthday. Our group had to wait quite a bit before getting a lane. However, the gentleman working gave each couple a game card with some credit to use in the arcade. Food and drink prices were fair for a bowling alley. We even got to use a discount at the end of our night. Overall a great night for everyone.

Took forever to get our shoes and get a lane. Got to the lane and it wasn't turned on. Had to go back to the desk and have them turn on lane. Got back to lane and keyboard to start game would not work. Had to go back to front desk to let them know. Went back to lane and had to wait for someone to fix. Eventually got to bowl. Lanes were fine, alley was clean and decent selection of bowling bowls to use. Overall, not bad. Maybe service wise they were just having an off day. I'd give it another shot.

It's a very decent bowling alley. They have a ton of specials usually if you like to bowl a lot. But, for the every now-and-then bowler, this place is great! Fun for the whole family! Saturdays are cosmic bowling!

I am from the area and moved several years ago and was visiting! All I wanted to do was come back to my old bowling house and bowl a few games for old times sake. Well, they had leagues and that is a good thing, but there were no open lanes at 1200 in the afternoon. We decided to just go to the bar and have a few cocktails and watch. There is no bar service and you had to order from the front desk! The gentlemen did a good job but the service is definitely not on the same level it used to be.

The new policy that they have where you cant pay until after bowling is ridiculous. It more than doubles the wait time to get shoe rentals and then you have to wait in line again after your finished bowling to pay. We definitely spent more time waiting in line than bowling. And when you have young children with you it makes it even more aggravating.

Clean location! Judging from the outside, I was a bit skeptical. Overall, our squad had a pretty good time here. The lanes were functional, the screens worked, the pizza they ordered did the job and the staff helped answer questions/direct everyone where they needed to go. There's an arcade here but it's severely limited. Don't expect too much from it- the gifts come out of a vending machine. The guides for assisted bowling (for the young ones) is manual so someone will have to help you get it up. They did have cute animal ramps for the kids so that was another pleasant surprise. Overall, it was a good time. I'd go back!

Excellent house, good pro shop. Food is decent, good beer options, well-kept lanes, and friendly staff. The only real option around for actual bowlers. They run multiple leagues and pro shot patterns. I miss my old Bowl America, and the bathroom lighting is unsettling, but overall, it's a pretty great bowling alley that I'll continue to frequent.

Great time bowling but discounts on military was not applied because the reasoning behind this was that I did not mention this prior to bowling but have not paid because I left a tab open for my lane. The bill for 2 games ended up being 72 dollars for 4 2 adults and 2 children. A bit disappointed with this. This was my 2nd time here.

Since they inherited all the team league's from the Massaponax area bowling alley that closed last year, we've unfortunately been unable to find any open /public bowling times that are convenient or available on the weekends at this location, or the lines have been too long to wait for a lane. So disappointing. The Fredericksburg region could support another bowling alley venue at this point.

Rented two lanes for our son's six year birthday party, and couldn't have made a better choice regarding the venue. Cost for two hours lane rental, shoes, cheese pizza, all you can drink soda, a five dollar arcade card per child, and all necessary paper goods (including cups, plates, silverware for the cake, tablecloths, and table centerpieces with led lights), including table service by our own dedicated server, ran $20 per child. 11 kids plus the event fee and taxes came to around $280 total. We had to do nothing in terms of setup and takedown for the party as our server was amazing - he even gave us a number of to-go cups for the kids to take home their soda from the pitchers on the table, and provided a quick lesson on how to set up the names on the lane computers for bowling (even setting up the gutter bumpers for the kids). Everything was ready to go when we walked into the door, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Cost wise it seemed to be the same price or cheaper than any other venue in town, and the birthday boy loved it. All we had to supply was the cupcakes. Only minor quibble was that we couldn't bring ice cream, but compared to the pros it was very much not a big deal. We expected the interior to be run down and were pleasantly surprised to find what appeared to be a recently renovated, made and clean space. Highly recommend this place for a child's party!

It’s a shame to see the last regulation bowling alley go this far down hill. The lanes are dirty, my brothers rented shoes which reeked, and the staff is EXTREMELY rude. To start you can’t understand the gentleman the is at the front desk. He mumbles with every word he says. The lanes left my ball filthy. As I cleaned my ball so much dirt and grime came off. This is terrible! Especially compared to the AMF in Richmond. The entire time we searched for this stench and it turned out to be from the shoes! It’s disgusting. The lack any real leadership. Employees are goofing off and playing on their phones rather than cleaning a filthy disgusting place. We will not be returning. Don’t waste your money or time here. This is also when you can even get in to play! I come up to visit family and this is the first time they’ve had “open lanes”. Usually they’re filled with leagues because obviously they don’t care about families or casual bowlers. My family and I won’t be coming back.

this place sucks. Gang and drunk people are there a lot. I went there one time. There was a kid finished his game and just sit in the racing car. I asked if he's gonna play. He said no and leave then his dad came up later and theaten me to say sorry to the kid or not he want "take it outside" with me @@ man, such an uneducated person. The manager didn't do anything about it though. If you guys want to go here, please pay attention to those people, don't ever talk to there kids or they will beat you up!! careful man

Waited more than 30 minutes for fountain drinks to be delivered. The check in procedure was disorganized and the employee was difficult to understand and sarcastic. He assigned us to a lane that was already in use and then gave me a shoe size larger than I asked for. I was then made to wait in line AGAIN to exchange the shoes for the size I had asked for initially. The game was fine and there were plenty of balls to select from, which is important when you are bowling with kids. We had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come and take down the bumper guards which just added to the aggravation because, like I said we waited more than 30 minutes for fountain drinks. To add insult to injury our fried food was delivered (cold & undercooked) before we got our drinks when I inquired as to when we would be getting our drinks the employee asked to see my receipt even though he was the associate who took my order and knew I had opened a tab for my lane - therefore I did not yet have a receipt. Would likely not return. But... the bowling was okay.

While the atmosphere is upbeat and inviting the staff tonight is something other. Ordered 3 pretzels with cheese and it took 45 minutes to get them. When speaking to the staff all they did was blame their slowness on the parties they had. Sounds like they have poor management that doesn't understand how to schedule accordingly. Then the pretzels were not that good, I have had better pretzels with cheese from 7-11. Will go back to bowling at splitzville, avoid this place if you plan on having anything to snack on.

I cannot believe the ridiculous service that we have and will NOT return to this location!! It’s bad because one bowling alley shutdown in Fredericksburg so we all funnel to this location and now I will on go to Splitsville at the mall. AMF y’all need to get your stuff together!
