Been going here for years. For rec and leagues. Service is usually good, food is great, prices are great if you know when to go. $2 Tuesdays = shoes, games, pizza slices & PBR cans all $2.00 each. Lanes can be inconsistent sometimes but not too bad. They have a bar, pool table, arcade and a Pro Shop

The place itself was fine. It looked like they were in the middle of a renovation, so some things looked out of place. However, the wait to get a lane and pay was ridiculous. There were only two people helping the entire line. They have to think up of a better way to get people bowling and to pay.

Had an excellent time with friends at AMF Dale City Lanes. We went on a Thursday during league night, but only had a short wait to get two lanes. The food was better than I expected and the service was friendly, though we did have to wait a little while for our drinks. A great place for an evening out with friends, especially with children.

Bowling alley is in a very old building but the lanes are nice, friendly staff and decent food. This location has 32 lanes with a table for each lane. They have a concession stand that has items from burgers and fries, wings, mac and cheese bites, pizza and chicken tenders. They serve Pepsi products and beer in bottles and tap. They have a very small arcade with mainly a few crane type games. They are great at accommodating for parties and you have servers that come to your table. Overall this is a decent place to hang out for a few hours and bowl.

This may be a fun place for families to go bowling but it takes forever to actually get a lane and get shoes, etc., because it seems like one employee is doing everything (understaffed). On the plus side, I was pleasantly surprised how fresh their pizza was but not pleased with how much they charged for it (about $16 for one pizza).

Remodel looks nice. But the service could be worked on. I waited a few minutes as a watched the employees discuss their duties before I was helped. Also, they lacked on explaining the prices to our group.

The lanes are a little on the old side. Food is good. Staff is good. Doesn't have automatic bumpers, so get two lanes if you're bowling with a mix of kids and adults that know what they're doing.

Great place for the whole family. Definitely a fun time to be had. I docked it a star because the music choices were a little off but everything else was cool. What I really liked is how the staff kept calm and cool in a not so smooth situation. My family and I went there for a reunion get together. We decided to leave early and wanted 2 out of 6 of our games to be refunded. The manager didn't quite understand our situation. But instead of blowing up, she stayed calm and waited for me to elaborate what I was attempting to convey. Everything was understood at the end of the transaction and everyone was happy. It's close so we will be going again.

Loved the atmosphere in this bowling alley! I would definitely recommend this location over the Bowl America on Occoquan Road. The lighting for cosmic bowling was a bit brighter than I had expected, but there were black lights and the music was very lively! I would recommend longer hours for the weekend! Closing at midnight on a Saturday is such a let down! Aside from all that, the wonderful Wanda who happened to be working the counter last night (we arrived close to 11pm), was pretty rude. I understand she may have had a long day and was ready to go but she rolled her eyes at me and showed disgust when I questioned the prices she told me vs the ones I saw online. There was a small misunderstanding, which could have been cleared up with "online pricing is different depending on location" but we get sass from a woman who's clearly having a rough day. I completely understand the frustration as I have worked retail for a part in my life, but I'm glad to know AMF training consists of eye rolling and sassing customers. Great job. I'll be back, but I hope Wanda has a better day and learns how to speak with customers. :)

Typical bowling alley experience. Bar staff was extremely friendly and helpful, cosmic bowling was great! Restrooms were surprisingly clean. Just as you'd expect, it's pretty empty during the day and gets crowded at night.

This place blows. The lane failed every third ball and the attendants couldn't be bothered to fix the situation. Mix in dark lanes without all the flashy lights working and sullen employees for an all-star turd show. Avoid if you are looking for a fun time. Literally weakest bowling experience I've had in decades.

Everything is fine except for the wanna be manager of the place. As soon as my family and I went inside the lady was talking down to the employees and started fussing about people walking in with outside drinks. Instead of asking the people nicely she started rasing her voice and being nasty to the customers. Then she went and announce it over the mic and continued being a pain in the butt. Some one need to como and check her out and put her on her place.

My family visited in August 2014 and had a great time. Best bowling shoes I ever rented, the facility is clean, smoke-free and the lanes have interesting lighting. We found the staff to be very friendly and cooperative. This is important when you are a casual and mostly incompetent bowler. My son also found the french fries to be excellent. We would certainly go again.

If I could give absolutely NO STARS I would. This place is way over priced and after paying a huge price for bowling our game timed out and they did not fix it! A game we paid for. Seriously the absolute worst service I have ever seen and experienced and I will NEVER come here with my children or recommend this place! We paid for the entire game and they just sat there and shrugged their shoulders. Thanks for stealing our money. Oh and also, there is either bumpers for everyone or bumpers for no one. We just accepted it because we went there to have fun and spend time together, but now I'll throw it out there anyway.

This place is God awful. By far the worst service by their drone workforce of dullards incapable of independent thought or simple instructions. Forgotten orders, malfunctioning equipment, overpriced food, and an atmosphere that's lost in the 80s, only because it feels dated, and not stylized. Avoid spending your money here. Avoid going here. Just stay away.

First time back in years. Like the renovations. Lanes have been updated - new animated modern scoring, no pit, fresh oiled lanes though balls are a little rough book. New tokenless arcade games. Huge easy to win claw machine (claw grabber really works) if you want to be a hero. Went for the night all-bowl. Food was pricey for bar snacks. Cashiers slow, lacked cust svc and explanation of bowling fees to a group of 9. After some paying split tickets, math still didnt add up. The consession girl was solo on a busy Monday night, but bubbly. I tipped her for just having an awesome attitude. Overall a good time.

My grand daughter's 7th birthday was held there on hot Saturday afternoon. A/C so welcome. The children ages (4-8) enjoyed unlimited bowling, supervised by parents. Seating available near children. Professional event coordinator and staff setup appropriate simple table deco in advance, served all the food including the cake we brought in and cleaned up. I recommend AMF Dale City Lanes for much fun.

Customer service here was so poor to the point that we just left. I am not one to normally post negative reviews but it really was a disappointment. We arrived to the counter, the lady at the desk was very slow to attend. We purchased groupons for our entire family and they refused to honor it. We tried seeing if management could help and the manager Thomas seemed as if he was afraid to talk to us and did not want to help in any way. It seemed like another employee tried to step up and refuse to honor the Groupon but when we tried to get help from Thomas he really did not care. We ended up leaving - won’t ever go back and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Pretty fun but if you have bigger hands you can't use the light weight balls. You have to use the heavier balls which can really strain the wrist if you play more than one game. Still really fun tho. A little pricey so don't expect to go very frequently unless you have a small group of friends or you have alot of spare cash.

Loved it! Front ends of the lanes could've been cleaned up a little bit more for sliding at the end of release. But, besides that.. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And the overall condition of the house as a whole is amazing. Great atmosphere for League Bowlers and family. Love that they still have the white lights on and isn't a bowling club, like Bowlero. Keep up the great job guys! Will definitely be back to this house.

Great place for bowling with your family of all ages, food & drinks are delicious, but pricey. Rental shoes for a few bucks, bowling balls for use by public. Remember to use bowlers etiquette, ask desk for explanation.

Seven-in-one entertainment! Live music, restaurant and bar, billiards, bowling, arcade and laser ta. A very well designed interior space lets all seven venues succeed together in a large open space, and although it does become Busy, but not overwhelming. The food's a range of Americana, and above average on most fronts. I'm picky about wing platters, theirs will satisfy. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop. If you're a local, you'll find yourself coming back.
