Awesome place. Bowling is cheap and drinks are cheaper. The staff were also especially nice considering we were goofing off a little too much. Would definitely reccomend coming here on a Friday or Saturday.

Great time Saturdays or 9-12am 2hrs of bowling for $12. There is also a bar which has a pool table for a $1 a game.

Food wasn't an option due to the kitchen having experienced a recent fire. That sucked but the bar was open & they had chips that could be purchased. We went on a Tuesday where they have the $2 dollar deal. $1 for shoes & $2 per game w/ a 2 game minimum. They play pretty good music. After 9 it's the uncensored versions of songs, so keep that in mind if you plan on bringing any children.

Great family owned bowling center that is well maintained and has great prices. The staff are all friendly, the pro shop is top notch and has almost everything you need and you feel welcomed well you are there as if they actually appreciate you’re business.

Good location. Fun place to go with friends reasonably priced. The machines don't always return the bowling ball. Gets annoying to take another 10 minutes to find another bowling ball that fits your hand size. Staff was really nice.

Amazing deals, particularly on Sunday, and especially for RPI students. Bowling is great, everything clean and good, the employees are helpful. The only draw back is that some of the equipment is rather aged. Some of the balls show more-than-average wear, the ball-returns are quite dated, and the computers for keeping track of games is very much straight out of the eighties. However, everything is in perfect working order!

Horrible service. We waited to get a lane for an hour and a half and still never got a lane even tho we called ahead and reserved two lanes. We were told repeatedly ten more minutes until our turn which we did for 45 mins. As we waited, many parties that just walked in got shoes and went straight to lanes. Never got to bowl, we just left. This was absolutely ridiculous and the worst service I've ever experienced. Never going back and I don't recommend it at all.

It was a lot of fun, we played two games with our family and everything went pretty smoothly and for the most part the bowling lane machines worked. My one complaint is the bowling balls that could be used were kind of bad. All the holes for the fingers were pretty small, so if you have larger fingers or hands you might have some trouble finding a bowling ball that will be a good fit for you. Anyway if you are looking for a couple hours of fun for a cheapish price you should go and have some fun with the family.

Terrible. Didnt get anything we paid for via groupon. Guy said there will be no pizza that was already paid for because cook isn't there. He goes and makes his personal food and sat down. Lanes were broken place smelled of old chicken grease and sweat. Smh left after one game out of 4.

The owners here are some of the best around! Whatever your event this it's a good place to host it for you. Adjacent bar is perfect for small gathering prior or after you bowl. They maintain the lanes great and bartenders are always attentive.

I have had so many issues with this bowling alley. The worst issue I delt with was an employee who clearly was drinking got confused about how to process my order and tried to say I was wrong. Eventually the manager came by to fix the situation.

Went to Uncle Sams pro shop. Met Tom and Mike, the nicest guys you ever want to meet.I had a brand new bowling ball my husband gave me for my birthday in sept. Mike drilled it for me,he took time to make sure it was right and then had me try it ,was very considerate and knowledgeable. My husband also needed his bowling ball adjusted. My family and I had a really great experience this evening at Uncle Sam Lanes. The gentlemen at the entrance was extremely welcoming and made every effort to make our experience a great one. All of the staff was helpful and friendly. We ordered a pizza and wings and the food was fresh and really tasty. Wings perfectly crunchy! Music and atmosphere were just right for a Sunday evening with family. We will absolutely be back! The only reason I didn't rate this bowling alley a 5 was because it could use some TLC as far as equipment and the furniture being very warn and dated.

If you are even a slightly serious bowler, do not come to this alley. 26 lanes, all terrible and dry, despite having a kagel machine to oil them well. For some reason the kitchen closed before 4pm, even though the employee was right there, she said she was done. No A/C so I sweating after just a few frames, and while there was a bar, the selection was poor and I ended up with my 4th choice of drink. Would not recommend to a n y o n e.

Wonderful Service! After a terrible experience at Spare Time Latham, we were looking for a place to take my 82-year-old, wheelchair-bound mother for some bowling. We called around and found Uncle Sam Lanes. They told us to come right over. They were mostly full, but promised to hold two lanes for us. When we got there, they were welcoming and true to their word. We had a great experience and will definitely recommend to others.

VERY RACIST I WENT THERE WITH 9 KIDS THEY SAW US AND STATED THEY HAD NO LANES AVAILABLE BUT THERE WAS 6 OPEN LANES THE GUY SAID THE LEAGUE WAS COMING AT 5:30 WE SAID OK IT 4:00 CAN WE BOWL FOR 1 HOUR AND HALF KEPT SAYING NO THAT HE HAVE TO HAVE EVERYTHING READY FOR THE LEAGUE. WILL NEVER GO BACK.

Went last night with a group of friends. This place is in dire need of a renovation. No tv screens, I think they have the original bowling terminals, most of thier moodlight bowl ligts are not working or really old. Ball selection and quality is poor.

If I could give a negative score I would. Rude staff. Didn't like the fact that we had a Groupon. Then didn't want to let us bowl all three games and shut the lane down in the middle of the last game. All while harrassing us about needing the lane at 5 when it was only 3:30 and we were on the last game. Let alone the attitude from the staff about the pizza and soda that was included with the Groupon. If you don't like people using them then stop offering them. Ruined my son's birthday. Thanks alot!

Bowling was fun and had a good time. After we were set up though we couldnt find any staff. At main desk or at food counter. Not wanting to spend my bowling time looking for someone i decided that i would get food and drinks after bowling and spend my money else where. I hope the staff see this review so that hopefully they can be easily accessible. I will not come back and will recomend people go elsewhere. Furthermore at the end of the night i do not like walking through a cloud of smoke as i leave already unhappy. Bad employees led to poor experience at location.

Showed up an hour and a half before close and had the proprietor gruffly tell my group that they were about to close early 'cause it's dead. Maybe that's because they turn away paying customers. Don't go here if you want to be sure of the hours.
