We were overcharged for our games. People in our group with more people than us were charged less money. When we went to ask they said we would have to contact the manager to get our money back. Our group spent A LOT of time sitting and waiting for balls that got stuck. Not a great experience.

I was on the bowling team back in high school and spent 3-4 days a week bowling on a ideal standard set of lanes. Definitely a great place for the family or a group of friends to visit and bowl but if you love bowling the lanes weren't properly oiled which was sorta a bummer but nonetheless was still worth the visit.

Nice place, great atmosphere, great food, has a tavern and a license to go with it so beer can be drank on the lanes. The ONLY complaint I have is that the ball returns get jammed with my 16 pound ball. The solution... ask for lane 21 which has a different mechanism.

The lanes we were in kept breaking and we would have to wait like 10 minutes before they would come fix it because the so. Called “mechanic” to fix them was bowling with his family instead. And then he freaked out on us and told us to just get the hell out of his bowling alley. I loved this place before but now I’m never coming back. Worst customer service ever and that worker needs to be punished.

We went to a company Christmas party and found that Davis Lanes is an awesome bowling alley. They have a snack bar with a huge menu to choose from. If you want a beer, you will find a lounge in the building to enjoy one or two. All in all it was really fun and we will be back.

Worst communication skills over the phone. They told me 3.50 per game when really they charge 3.00 for a shoe rental plus the 3.50. And it’s all per person. None of which I was told when I called. For 3 people to bowl here it was over 20 bucks. Just go to Bountiful bowl and pay 10 bucks for 5 people. Cause this place isn’t worth your hard earned money.

Balls stuck at back of Lane on last 2 frames... my family waited 20 minutes for them to fix but no one came, so we gave up and left. I mentioned the problem at the shoe return again on the way out, got an apology but no offer of compensation.

I drove up to Layton to meet a girl for our first date and we decided to go bowling after dinner. When we walked in they were playing really loud rap music, which was a turn off for us, but the staff was SUPER friendly, the prices were good, and it was a great place to have a first date!

Not a great place to take little kids. Customer service was horrible, they had an attitude of not caring. We got charged full price, even for my 2 year old. Then, they charge an EXTRA $3.00 if you don't pay with cash/check! It's 2019...I didn't know that sort of thing still happened, especially when I'm already paying over $80 to bowl 2 games. They also didn't have kid ramps (they claimed they were broken and they didn't want to buy more), and the bumpers weren't automatic (meaning we had to either have them up/down for all 8 of us, instead of them coming up for the kids). I've spent much less at better bowling alleys. Save your money and go to someplace like Boondocks. I would give ZERO STARS if I could.

The bowling was good. Everything worked the way you'd expect. Plenty of open lanes, even during a busy Saturday. Nice staff. However, I come with my family and kids. Something I didn't realize was that there's a bar in the back. It is legal to have a bar, and Davis Lanes does a professional job of keeping it subtle, but there was plenty of people enjoying a beer in the main area. As a non-drinker, it affects the atmosphere. All things considered, it's a decent bowling alley.

If I could leave a negative 5 stars I would. To start they have a deal listed on their website that they don’t honor, so we all go overcharged. Then they throw us on a lane that literally every turn our ball gets stuck behind the lane and we have to go all the way to the front each turn to tell them to go return our ball. We asked to switch lanes and they said no.. it was such a joke, they even offered free bowling.. um HAHAHA No!!! We will never go back!! Ever!

This place sucks the staff are rude they talk back I’ve have been going here for two years they recently raised prices and now everything is way over priced and kids aren’t even aloud to eat in cafe the bathrooms smell horrible the vending machines only take quarters there are tones of smokers and the food sucks! Don’t get me wrong it was a good bowling ally now it sucks and I have seen at least 10 rats running around the place I’m pretty sure the ally never gets wash we are always having to report gunk on the floor and if they get something wrong it takes 25 minutes for them to bring it back out basically service is very slow recommend going anywhere else.

I have bowled at this ally for years and the maintenence and management of the place continues to tank. They have one guy run the whole place and lately there is more down time waiting for stuck balls anx messed up equipment than actually bowling. They don't inforce any rules and are just flat our rude and don't give a crap about their customers. I am not coming back after today and will travel to Roy or Ogden. Longer drive but much happier experience.
