I feel like I could have caught and STD by just walking in. No wonder it was completely empty during peak hours on a Saturday night!

Downtown houston, bar/bowling alley. I did not like it, drinks were way too expensive (11$ for single neat crown royal) and the music was way too loud(blaring 80s pop). Plus most parking is in pay garages (10$). Plenty of lounge seating and the lanes seemed nice but i did not play.

This place here I wish I could upload a video of how much fun we have at this place , first is not your typical bowling alley, this place is filled with music and good vibes , you have a bar and a menu of different foods that the server can bring to you while you are playing and having fun , great place great staff.

For what it is it's alright. Communication with the local event coordinator was virtually nonexistent, and it wasn't until 2 weeks and multiple emails later that I finally got into a stable form of contact with them. Once we got there we had to wait 30 minutes, before they placed us in a replacement lane, because the other room just wasn't ready for us even though we had reservations ahead of time. The staff however was very kind, and seemed attentive it just seemed like they were extremely busy. The food is obviously way too expensive, however the cheese bites we did manage to eat seemed higher quality and were in fact delicious. The animations in between turns seem really out of date and weird. I don't know where they were going for with them; seem like they came out of 2004. It's bowling, you come and you bowl. Overall I don't think I would come here again just due to the distance between my home and the location.

Planning a group event at Lucky Strike Houston will make YOU look like a hero! Most hospitality and entertainment companies seem to have one or two standout employees, but I was happily blown-away by how every single Lucky Strike team member supporting our group of 75 was enthusiastic, anticipated our group needs and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. Their cheerfulness created a memorable experience for our guests. From the initial inquiry call with Marcella, I knew I was in good hands. She made smart recommendations, was able to talk me out of something that wasn’t a match for our group’s vision and was great with quick responses. Partnering with Marcella added a lot of value to our group and I will be requesting to work with her again on future Lucky Strike events. (I only wish she could be my partner for every program I manage.) Other noteworthy rock stars are Tanja and Jessica. Tanja was willing to meet with me before the program to share her expertise on menu choices – and she did not fail! Tanja’s confidence and being proactive to make sure all our guests were tended to left me with virtually nothing to do but sit back and enjoy watching our guests have an amazing time. And then there is Jessica… Jessica, who was referred to as a “bottle of sunshine” by one of our guests was the star of the show. I don’t think I have ever been greeted with such enthusiasm and eagerness to be of service. Jessica’s hospitality stayed at 10 all night and really brought the fun to the evening! Not only a venue for a fun and fabulous experience, Lucky Strike has the magic touch of making their guests feel special and appreciated. Way to go, Melissa! You have cultivated a team that really enjoys what they do…and it shows in the smiles of their guests’ faces.

I had a bowling lane rental contract on Saturday paid over $300 for two hour.When the night manager tried to collect an extra 200$ because I don’t meet the quota for food and beverages. My rental area was not clean on arrival. It took 45min to clean the area. Over charging the customer. Overall the down town area is nice

Customer service at the bar was terrible. Lady bartender had way too much attitude and was actively ignoring us while we waited for our pineapple juice. 40 minute goes by, another bartender comes out just to tell us they were out of pineapple juice. No smiles, no thank you or you're welcomes, and drinks were honestly not worth it. Only saving grace was that their waffles were damn good. Anyways, terrible service, ok food, ok bowling.

Walked in without a reservation and staff helped me get a lane for my birthday group regardless at a reasonable time. They also arranged to bring out a cake I brought which I was relieved since I planned the event. Management and staff really made our night! 5 stars for this place!!

Way overpriced. The ping pong was 20$ per hour crazy!!! Bowling was 30$ for 1 game for 2 people. Dont recommend this place at all. Management did not want to provide any discounts when place was empty on a Wednesday night. Never go!!!

My husband called them to reserve a lane for his birthday. We were on our way there but due to so much traffic and construction, we were a little late for our reserved lane. They did not care and would not listen. They gave our lane away without any warning of any kind. Absolutely HORRIBLE first impression!!! No stars and they will be our last resort for bowling from now on!

I would rate less than 1 star but it's not an option. Expensive drinks (waited 20 minutes for the 1st one), quoted a 1 hour wait and didn't get on a lane until 2 hours 20 minutes later which I don't understand because only 3 other lanes were being bowled on when we finally had one. When we started playing the waitresses watched and floated through the room from a distance without asking if we wanted any food/drinks. After we played one game we were told at 11:00p.m. that we couldn't play another game because they close at 12:00 am on Thursdays. Ridiculous. Would have taken us <25 minutes to get a game in but yet "there was nothing they could do." The manager (silver hair and potbelly) was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and had 0 customer service. Amazing the guy even has a job. I cant imagine the owner knows how terrible this guy is, unless he actually is the owner. Extremely disorganized staff with 0 initiative and urgency. I WILL NEVER go back again. NOT a good date spot, Family spot, or company event spot.

Happy drinks are pretty tasty and the margarita pizza was good too. This place just doesn't run well for the cost. It was a Thursday night and we kept having to find someone to help us. They had to call a manager for an online reservations and we had the confirmation email. A waitress only checked on our lane once. We asked to change the TV on our lane never happened. In my opinion it should be a luxury experience. Just expect basic crappy bowling alley service.

$60 for 1 lane for 1 hr...they have lost their mind. To add insult to injury, customer service was horrible. Asked for a military discount, and they forgot to apply it, then when I asked was told they already closed out the sale and can't open register. They wanted to hold my card all night for a running tab even though o was paying for everything on cash. Will not be back here. Span your money somewhere else. The wings where good though.

Went to this establishment on Saturday and was unable to bowl as they had a private party which had not been stated on their website. We were unable to bowl and then the security guard carded us just to go the bar. The bartender passed us several times. We waited almost 10 minutes for him acknowledge us even though he saw us he continued to wait on the other patrons. We were the only African Americans in the bar at the time which made it very obvious in terms of his poor customer service and the amount of time we waited. I wish I could give this establishment a -1 star rating.

I organized a company Christmas party here and it was absolutely amazing! We had a private room and bathroom. I worked with the Senior Sales Manager, Claudia Solis to plan the event. Claudia was more than helpful and she even set up a meeting at the location so we could do a walk through just to make sure the venue was set up exactly how I wanted it. Thanks again for a great party!

This is NOT a typical bowling alley, and if you're looking for that, then you will be disappointed. Lucky Strike is more like a game center and not for the serious bowler. The idea is that you get servers and a full bar and full menu all while you bowl, but yes, you will pay for the upscale experience. We have our office Christmas party here every year and you can rent out a private back area that includes private lanes, pool tables, and your own private bartender, but I've also been here in the general area, and it is a similar experience. Because it is located in downtown, parking is a pain, but there is valet out front. House of Blues is upstairs, so if you're coming on a concert night, valet can get overwhelmed.

Great place for a corporate party! Just a little expensive, thats the reason for the 4 stars. We had a corporate party here and it was fantastic. With private room and bowling area, we were able to host over 150 people together at the event. The food was good, and there was a bar in our area as well where we could order drinks and beers. They had a great selection, but i especially enjoyed the Lone Star beers. Bowling there is quite fun, the lanes are clean and good quality and there is a good selection of balls. The location is downtown and there is a lot of other things around there too

If you are really looking to bowl, this is not the place for you. The bowling balls are all cracked and broken, and the lane is hardly oiled up. This place is more for a hangout with your coworkers. It has nice atmosphere, like a dimly lit bar. The food they serve is pretty much frozen food. Their drinks were the best part of this place for me.

Nice place to hang with friends and have a drink. If you a serious bowler this is not the place for you. The shoes dont glide freely and the markers on the lane are hard to see. There are big screens at the end of the lanes displaying a series of action videos which i find distracting. With tye way I bowl a little distraction is not going to make things any worse. :)

Love this place, we take our 12yr old that even makes sure to bring his lucky stripes T shirt every time, it’s not a huge place and just the right size, they have a full bar and multiple food options, be sure to look online for promo days, lunch & Bowl is a great saver, it’s on the 3rd floor but there is an elevator and escalator in the outdoor mall area, over all we will continue to go because of the intimacy of the place, the music works, and staff is helpful, park in a near by garage,lot or valet, great place to chill with friends or family, it’s 21 & up after a certain hour when the fun really begins

Thursday night and the waiting time is 1.5 hours...I did not showed up on time and the next waiting time is 1 hour more. (No big deal) Decided to come on a Friday. The front desk does not understand the meaning of maybe 3 hours and cancels the game after 1 hour and then implied that I have to give away the lane ( I had drinks and food). I had to get upset and talk to a manager to get this fixed. In few words....do not deal with the crew, talk to the managers.

Drinking, not bowling. And don't expect great service or a quality game. Both of our lanes continued to break. Our balls got eaten and the re-rack would get stuck. Our waitress also seem unconcerned that we were on a tight schedule and were paying a ton of money to bowl for 2 hours. It also was unfortunate that my husband loves bowling and is part of a league with a great average and couldn't get the balls to do anything. I know this isn't a REAL bowling alley, but for the price you think it would be better quality. Where does all the money they make go? Also the front desk staff was extremely rude to a friend that wore his own bowling shoes. The only thing I have to say is that they compensated some money for the time wasted on the broken bowling lanes and the graphics on the bowling screen were great and so was the ambience.

I like this place a lot but I feel like it's meant more for private parties. It's kinda small. Once I came here during lunch. Just me and two other Co workers. And they had a special. If you eat you get a free game. We had a good time. So I thought that was a good innovating way to get people to come in during the lunch hours. The burgers and fries were really good. I wanna come check this place out at night.

First time ever at lucky strike. I go in about 10 o’clock and bowl two games. It’s 11:05 and I goto the cashier to get one more game in and they say they are done for the night. WTH?? You’ll serve drinks but we can’t bowl anymore?

Only suggestion. Get some new darts and darts boards if your gonna charge to play darts. Also buffing the lanes and updated bowling shoes wouldn't be a bad idea either. And for that I'll give them 3

Good for company events but not for bowlers. Lanes are in horrible condition and the big screen tv's, right over the lanes, cause a glare on the lanes making it nearly impossible to see the lanes. The ball return is way to close which takes away space to bowl. Bowlers should avoid this place.

My experience was extremely enjoyable. I was with a party and the servers were right on it. My drinks came before I asked and service was always friendly. My shoes were new and fresh. Everyone had a smile. What a great time.

It is a nice place but when I went for a friend's birthday i did not have a good experience. The place was not full and they were not busy but it took 30 min for drinks and ladies if you would like any green items like a vegetable or salad, they do not provide substitutions. I tried to order the sliders with a side salad instead of fries and they said they couldnt. They have no veggies and even when I asked for a bowl of dry lettuce it was out of the question and I would still be charged extra. Also the water my friend's 6yr old asked for took 40 min and that was after my friend went up to the bar and asked for drinks walking them to the lane herself. Also because their beer tower wasnt working they gave us pitcher beer and since service was slow we finished the game before the second of three pitchers. When we asked to just be charged for the pitchers we were told that they dont sell pitchers..??? As I look at the pitchers of draft beer we just settled to wait and drink the other pitcher not yet arrived.

The concept is good. It would be good for a date or groups. No kids after 8pm is awesome!!! Our food was tasty and the food was reasonably priced. Bowling is expensive though. Nearly $40 for a single game. We wanted to play pool it was $20 per hour. Service was just ok. Some delays on attention on a Thursday when it wasn't that busy. This place is better for drinking in the bar area. I would still go back to kill time & drink since it's close to house of blues.

If you are really serious about bowling, you know not to come here. It’s overpriced, dimly lit, and the lanes just aren’t right. Food and drink is also very very average and overly priced. I’ve never had great service either. Unless you have a work function here that’s free, try going anywhere else.
