Never bowled in the dark before. Didn't like it very much at all. Looked for a suitable ball for my granddaughter the whole time, in the dark! Hard to do. Didn't like it at all. I feel that there is a time and place for the dark ,the bowling alley is just not one of them. Just saying!!yeah.

Staff is RUDE as can be! Bald guy kept eyeballing us the whole night until we took our purses outside. Until then he left us alone. And we paid for 2 hours and only got 1 hour. 1st time visiting and this is the last time.

Me and my wife just visited this place for the first time since the remodel had a lot of fun and it's a good family environment saw a lot of families with small kids bowling and we're really having a great time. I enjoy the fact that you pay for an hour reasonable get three games in we're other bowling alleys we have been to you had to pay for each game that you played looking forward to going back

Greatly improved with new owners. Nice set up and nice arcade. Great food bar with good selections. Prices were good for the higher quality of the bowling alley now. Restrooms remodeled and super clean. Lanes worked great....which was a huge issue in the past. Overall a good night of family fun and kids enjoyed it also!

Much better than it was in the past. Updated with TVs, auto scoring, food options and lights. Place looks great, see a like lane machines could still use some maintenance and updates to run smoother and avoid stuck balls and pins from dropping. Pricing was reasonable for bowling prices these days.

Really nice place to go it was very clean and everyone was very nice. We went on a Sunday night and it was perfect for the kids. They charge by the hour and it includes everything you need. Definitely will be back.

It's under new ownership, and they made it look a lot better. If you look at my photos, it shows only the outside but they've updated the entire inside. Lots of new games and such, updated pool tables and everything. Very nice, worth the money.

Poor service. The guy behind the counter was rude. It was 41 dollars for 3 adults for 1 hour than our lane messed up for a good 10 min and then the guy told us we had to move lanes and didn't even compensate us for the time we lost.

This was our first time going. The pins didnt come down for every turn and the screen messed up in the middle of our game. And they started closing down (cleaning and mopping outting people into one area). With all that being said we as a family had fun.

I remember when this place was really really popular. It was great fun to go growing up cause they had music all the time pool tables air hockey arcade Games, Etc. They also serve beer, and had lots of different food such as pizza and chili cheese fries and stuff like that. I've not been there in a while so maybe they've got some of those things back in, I don't know..

Nice atmosphere but there is no electronic score keeping and a lot of times the lanes need to be reset. The staff was friendly and did well given how busy it was but it seemed a bit unorganized while going through some updating. We were told that more “new” lanes would be opening and then electronic scoring would be next. We will revisit st that time.

I don't recommend bowling here, drive a little farther and go to Sevierville or knoxville instead...you keep your own score w paper, the lights that tell u which pins were knocked down do not work, their balls are really gouged and pitted, the balls repeatedly got stuck and wouldnt return, and the bar would just decide to clean the pins randomly in the middle of your rolls...way to expensive for a mediocre bowling lane...

Its old so they are upgrading the bowling machines but other than that it was fun me and my family enjoyed our time spent there and we only spent 30 dollars for an hour and when we had a problem they were easy to find and they even switched us lanes for it being upgraded and still having some bugs in the systems

This is not a good place if you want to keep score . there equipment doesnt work . you can bowl once knock down 8 pins an it will clear them all and set 10 back down without giving the second chance to knock down your other 2 pins . we live less than 10 min from here but for now on will drive 45 min to knoxville where its cheaper to bowl an they have screens to keep the score for u. Then the lady giving the shoes out was very rude . this was the worse exspeirence ive ever had bowling.

If you like to bowl just for fun with friends and family. Just make sure you don't go on nights that they are leagues there cause they are top priority and you can't have fun cause they have to be able to think when they bowl. Manament will come and ask you to do them respect.

Buddy got kicked for no reason. No refund even though he only bowled once and had to sit for 20 minutes and wait for an employee to explain how the system worked. He was warned then after doing nothing got immediately kicked out. Other customers said he was fine and wasn't causing issues. The employee was very rude.

The new owners/management have ruined this childhood favorite for me. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. Food is lack luster and over priced. If you're looking for a good place to bowl, look elsewhere.

We had a good time bowling two games here. Kids bowled with the bumpers, they had blast. We bowled beside them, and although we did have a couple of problems with our lane, they fixed it quickly when we asked them to. Staff was very polite, very helpful. Overall, it's a great place and they are continuing to improve it with new features.

Always been a great place to go to hangout. This time was no different but the cost is outrageous. Almost $40 for me, my 4 year old son, and my wife. It should not cost that much to bowl.....4 stars because personnel were extremely nice and that's about the only thing positive.

Preliminarily questionable review, not the most welcoming staff prior to the full party arriving. Pricing was allegedly rigidly on a per bowler per hour basis. Either paying by the time for the lane or by the game would be nice options to have available. Being more welcoming and more flexible with pricing would have likely resulted in me playing more total games which would have enhanced the utilization factor of their lanes (which was very low during most of the period of time I was there). There is no way that additional costs from allowing me to pay them MORE money to play more games would have overwhelmed the additional revenue they would have received. While I am just one person, multiplying that by a large number of customers would have large positive impacts on the West End Lanes business.
