Today, May 7, 2015 my sons second grade class from Bruceton/Hollow Rock school had a school field trip planned to go to The Gary Center. When they got to The Gary Center they found out that the Gary Center had double booked the Center and another school was there. Bruceton/Hollow Rock school had even called ahead to confirm their reservation for today. The Gary Center said that they had no record of their reservation even after they called to confirm it. All the kids had their heart set on bowling just to have the Gary Center turn them away. The Gary Center would not even compensate them for the time and expense it took for them to get there today. I believe the Gary Center should have the second grade class of Bruceton/Hollow Rock come back for their class trip and make it all free for them. If the Gary Center does not compensate for their mistake then they may lose customers when word of this gets out to the general public.

There are new owners now and I can tell they hit some issues getting a place that was run down, but the owners are so kind and accommodating!!! I appreciate seeing them trying to improve the place! Will definitely be back!

Well it was pretty terrible you can't dip, you can't prank call, the music is crap, idiots throw three balls at a time, they don't even have 8 pound balls, the arcade machines suck crap, the air hockey table isn't bolted to ground. Booo

Seemed pretty expensive for what we got in return. Family of 5 played two games for almost $40. Every other ball wouldn't return to us so we'd have to push the service button. Very annoying. No bumpers on the lanes for the little ones either. Food and drinks were way overpriced as well. Paid almost $40 for our snacks. Could have went to the movies and out to eat for $80. Probably won't go back.

Horrible place most of the arcade games do not work properly or not at all pool tables and sticks all broken half the balls came out and half did not. Air hockey table was hardly blowing air overall very horrible place to bring children

Had fun but realize next time to bring cash because debit/credit card gets a fee per time you use it there. If you want to use debit/credit then open a tab it's better. We played pool and bowled.

Came here with my two 7 year olds. The staff was nice and put the bumpers up for is. They made sure our shoes fit well (even after 3 trys). Clean and friendly and tobacco free.

Not allowed to dip tobacco and the place is run down the owners are high strung the arcade games are junk waste of money... everything about this place screams white trash the bowling lanes take forever to rerack between frames worst bowling alley ever I would rather walk down kraft street with a rebel flag and a black lives matter shirt on

It not a terrible as the others who left 1 star reviews. It is older and the arcade games are pretty run down. But the bowling is cheap 16.00 for 2 games or 4 if you break it down to 2 a piece including shoe rental that’s not too bad. If you think it is go to Jackson on a Saturday and bowl you’ll be looking at 40 bucks. Staff is nice and the lanes are clean. All in all not the best but definitely not as bad as previous reviews.

Wonderful place to bring kids for an outing. Family oriented atmosphere. Can't wait until August 24th for the grand opening. There will be free hotdogs, popcorn and a band and also The Farm will be there!

It was horrible,and the machines took my money and there were children unattended,and needs to be cleaned,and the food looks nasty,and the machines wouldn't work
