As you can see its rating is quite positive, and it's founded on a very large number of opinions, so we can say that the valuation is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to rate when they are satisfied with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to write opinions when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Bowling Alley is classified in the category of Bowling alley.
Not really for bowling. More for hanging out with friends while doing something other than talking/drinking. Too loud for much talking. You are jammed into the lanes. Decent food and drinks.
We had a great time here for my daughter 21st birthday. The chicken wings are huge! We loved the atmosphere. We will come back again asap
Staff was rather rude. Could only bowl for 1 hour, even though there was no one waiting. It was a fun date night, but not managed very well.
Very nice venue but the acoustics were not very good
Ok spot. Good food, good service... Wouldn't come here specifically to bowl again.
Good place for a group. Not very busy.
Always a good time.
We had fun bowling as a novelty. If you are a serious bowler the pins on strings will annoy you. Cute layout but crowded sitting area if there are several groups. Since you rent by the hour you end up with unfinished games. We had two frames left and it was over with no chance for us to finish. They have a bar but I am not sure when you would get a drink since you are bowling on the clock. Would be a good date night but this is a one time visit for us.
Fun but not much room for more than 4 people. It's best to take a couple lanes together.
Neat little meet and eat place and honestly the food was great good menu and the lanes are a great place to bowl. It's like being in mansion with a few super nice lanes and the Sports Bar is a fun place to see a game or fight
Nice bowling ally n atmosphere.. defiantly will visit again
Very cool little place, great for group events! Very friendly staff!
Cozy. Lanes are not typical size and the dot markers are very hard to see.
I think it was the coolest bowling alley I have been in
Great atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff. Well done.
Unique take on bowling!
Nice place inside. Just wish the place was more diverse in people, hate getting odd stares.
Fun times and really good steak nachos.
The most fun I've ever had bowling, I'd go back even just for the bar.
Place is cool as a bag of ice
Really unique place. Cool setting. Not your typical bowling alley!
Great little bowling spot very nice staff
The place itself is nice but the food is horrible!! My husband got food poisoning from it yesterday and has it coming out of both ends all night!!! The food was expensive too so this is very frustrating that it made it sick!! I ordered a salad and didn’t eat it because the dressing had gone bad. All the employees were rude as well.
Looks great
Our family of 4 enjoyed Stone Pin Bowling! We’ve already made plans to come back on a couples only date next, but we’ll be back with our kids too. Clean, vintage feel with several different sports on different tv’s. Fun and lively in an updated atmosphere. Call ahead to see if they’re expecting any large parties, quaint with 6 alleys. Lots of fun!
Great atmosphere.
Good drinks good food
Very fun
What a great environment we had the best time!
Bowling alley good but one of my best bowling balls got stuck and takes a long time to return but food is really good
Everything you want in a low key bowling alley. Then after bowling you can uber or walk to your favorite bar downtown.
If I could leave a 0 star for service I would. Came here to watch a playoff game with 4 friends, was grouped into the other 10 fans so the upcharge in gratuity was included. Why it's not about the money, in fact I would have tipped better than the 18% added, our server, Kelly- was so rude from the jump, for absoulte no reason. So disappointed that someone could treat a customer so blatantly awful- from the initial greeting thru the whole game. Actual atmosphere and food I'd rate a 4. Sorry Kelly killed the place.
Great place for a date.night! Super cool atmosphere!
Great place had a ball
Super cool, fun spot! Love the industrial decor.
Very nice, great staff. Alot better than regular bowling allies, doesnt smell like smoke.
Pretty cool place. Food was great and so was the service. Fun date night idea or just to hangout with friends. We heard we needed reservations but walked right in and got a lane.
You've gotta try this laid back and comfortable bowling experience with good food, full bar, and friendly service. The bowling is quite fun and you pay by the hour. The food is really good. We had wings and mini corn dogs and they're delicious, and one of the best things is you can eat right where you're bowling. And the service is outstanding. The server came from the bar to check on us often and made great drink recommendations. On top of all this the bowling attendant gave us five extra minutes when our time ran out so that we could finish the game we were almost finished with. So considerate!
We had a blast.
A first class venue!
Nice swanky place. We had the lunch special with bowling and food it was a great value. I will be back.
Wings were great....wonderful atmosphere!
Great experience and fun environment for kids and adults.
My husband and I came in with some friends to have dinner and drinks Saturday night, The service was phenomenal! The two brunette bartenders gave us an awesome experience, they were so friendly and gave great recommendations. I highly recommend this bowling alley, very cute and quaint. The food was delivered in a timely manner, we thoroughly enjoyed it as well. We will definitely be back again!
You want a great time just for the adults . Hey this is the place to lay back and enjoy your time with family and friends . Have a drink, do a little bowling. Oh and did i mention the food is good to.
I'd classify this more as a novelty bowling alley. The drinks were decent, and service was fine since I was the only one in there. The lanes seem too short, are not oiled properly, and the electronic pedestals are in the way if you bowl starting off from the side.
I spent some time bowling and hanging out at the bar with my girlfriend while visiting Greenville last week and we had a really great time. The bartenders were really personable and welcoming and they really knew their stuff. I loved the Seven Ten Split and my girlfriend was a big fan of the Lebowski. I'll be sure to come back next time I'm in town.
Nice laid back place for a date or hanging with friends
This place is remarkable. Very private, very cool and hip. Great beer selection, and a pimento cheese dip that'll blow your balls off.
Coolest atmosphere, good service and great music.
Nice place to go bowling!
Greenville needs more places like this. There aren't but 6 lanes here and you pay per the hour so waits can get long. Their drinks and drinks are really good. Nice atmosphere just outside of the craziness downtown.
Great place to go. There was a wait but it was definitely worth it. The staff was friendly to me and my 9 family members that came with me. Will definitely be coming back.
It's a nice place to visit once. Way too small to be comfortable and fun
I rented out Stone Pin for my church youth group this past Sunday. What a wonderful experience! Great atmosphere, great customer service, and lots of fun. Plus, the food is great. The price for a rental was worth it considering all shoes were included and use of the entire place. We will definitely return.
Gorgeous bowling alley! Nuff said.
High-class bowling
First time here and really enjoyed bowling at this location because it is quaint and very original. The atmosphere is comfortable, service was good, options for beer and wine are great. The place is clean and I love the layout.
Fun place for groups. Very loud. Terrible food..good servic
Had fun but it's kinda small....
Upscale bowling alley, with better food and drinks, and prices. Much more enjoyable!
Not much of a bowler myself, but we had an office party here and it's pretty cool. We had a buffet, so I don't know what the menu looks like, but they do serve food and have a full bar.
Its was awesome!
Bartender was rude and seemed drunk
Don't waste your time. Cindy Lou will give up your lane even though you are an hour early!
Cool spot
I loved this place and how intimate it is. The food was ok.
A cool place but it's a bit pricey for a meh experience. Luxury bowling seems a lot like a normal new small alley with an overpriced bar...
Fun place. Good prices. Good stuff
Fun bowling spot
Always a fun time here. Music is a bit loud for me. Automated scoring takes the chore out our scoring yourself. One note, the lanes are not legal alley lenght, but still Potts off fun.
Really cool concept for a bowling alley/bar. Food is good, service is good. Love that it's 21+ after 8. Will be back.
Sweet hangout, great ambiance. Local brews. Nice lanes.
Wow this place is awesome! Great food, nice lanes. They had a computer glitch with the scoring system that really wasn't a major problem, but the manager gave me a coupon for another session anyway, even though we didn't complain. Burgers are really good as well.
Great place to hang out and bowl. Good drink and snacks. Friendly staff.
I came here with my friends last week and we waited a hour and 30 mins for a lane because they said if we left they would have to take our name off the list. So after waiting that long we got our lane and when we did we were having a good time until we found out our lane was basically broke and the tv had a cracked lcd. We waited 15 minutes until we left to get a refund because we didn't even get to bowl twice. But the food was pretty good and they were really nice about it but I would recommend probably making a reservation before going because you will have to wait if it is busy.
I took my 5 and 10 year old grandchildren to Stone Pin Company after I picked them up at school looking for some physical indoor fun since it was raining. We were so happily surprised to find the basement of the old Handlebar Listening Room revived to a totally new venue within keeping of the historic area. It was all band new inside as we were welcomed earlier than I expected them to be open and given a lane in one of several areas sectioned apart from other lanes. This made us much more comfortable since the 10 year old was more knowledgeable than we were about bowling! They shared the kids 2 plain cheeseburger plate with French fries for only $6 and were perfectly happy with it. I haven't bowled in decades but after seeing them decided I couldn't do worse! We had so much fun in this clean, family and adult friendly place we will definitely be going back. My only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is the parking was confusing. The restaurant next door had signs that said "park across the street" but parking for the Stone Pin had a nice parking area just beside it at the lower level, it just wasn't clearly marked. I even apologized that the 5 year old was a little wild but they said he was no problem, they weren't crowded and even at 4:30 pm on a weekday I felt totally safe letting him run around within my sight. The adult menu and drinks looked good and now that I've been beaten by my 2 grandchildren, I'm ready to go on a date with him so he can show me how it's really done!
Felt cheesy. ..not real bowling.
Relaxing environment. Good food & drinks. Excellent service.
1st visit and we will be back!!!!!!FUN!
On weekends I’ve had a great time with no issues. On a weeknight I tried going two hours before they closed. The employee said they were “closing early” because they didn’t want to stay open their full hours for only one lane. Meanwhile all the employees are chatting and bowling in their own lane. Cool atmosphere, extremely poor service. I no longer recommend this place.
We had a great time!
Great place to hang and bowl
Pretty nice but small. Only 6 lanes but good for small team events. Good food, good service.
This place is Awesome!!!! I highly recommend it
Not sure of all the people giving this place bad reviews. This is a bowling alley and a beautiful one at that. A great mix of modern with hints of rustic industrial. We went off hours so the prices were reasonable for a lane. They have a $15 lunch special, giving you an hour of bowling (with shoes) and a meal. We unfortunately ate beforehand but it’s a great deal nonetheless. The technology at this place is wonderful. Each lane is equipped with its own tablet and gives you all kinds of statistics and allows for scoreboard customization. One word of advice, if you’re looking for authentic bowling, this is not it. The pins are individually attached to strings so it’s easier to remove and reset pins. Besides the strings, there is no difference to regular pins as they will fall and knock into each other the same way.
Great place for some family fun!!
Great location to bowl!
I love this place, great atmosphere, music and bar.
Excellent party venue. Good food and drink.
Good lanes for bowling the seating gets tight very quickly
Very nice cozy place. Kind of expensive. It's 20 a game so good place for you and your date not a good place for family cost wise
Fun atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff.
LOVE THE IDEA. ITS A BOWLING BOUTIQUE. COUPLE LANES DOWN EACH SIDE OF THIS SPORTS BAR. HAS LIKE SOFAS AND HAS GOOD FOOD AND DRINKS. THIS PLACE IS LIKE A BOWLING ALLEY IN A MILLIONAIRES HOUSE
Very nice vibez, staff is friendly
Stone Pin Bowling really made my husband's 60th bday party A-1 Superb meaning as asewsom as awesome can be from start of setting it all up with Brandi Farrow to day of the party with the setting up of the food buffet to getting ready to bowl it was just an awesome experience sure there is always gonna be a hiccup when making party plans but let me tell you if Stone Pin make a hiccup you better believe they will go beyond and above to make sure you and your guest are happy and satisfied especially that manager who I don't recall his name but he has worked all over the upstate bar's will take care of you and your go to person which mine was Stacy was super professional along with Eric so thanks to the crew at Stone Pin and I will be back very soon!
Was invited to a party here. We had a great time bowling and they had a nice buffet of food!
Amazing place and service!
Spent 4 hours having a great time with my family playing pinball and arcade games. Some of the ones they had I never played before, like Joust, which was in the book Ready Player One. Brought back a lot of memories of my childhood. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.
Awesome place to take family.
I don't quite understand the policy of not being able to reserve with full prepay in advance or reservations? Learned about it today, confirmed all was on board for an anniversary event. Offered to pay an extra fee if needed and set up for drinks and dinner for a 3 hrs, still no deal. Sorry, but it would seem that this type of smaller venue would rather get sold out that,to just wait on first come first serve, were not changing it they said, sad, oh well, we just won't go at all. I have not been there, this by no means is speaking of there service, quality of food or atmosphere, only there "Business decisions of rules and policies. I do fairly well, and when I usually go out with my family for a gathering like this, I spend easily $400 to $600. I will never go there to just wait and hope to get a lane. So, I guess we will never know. I'm out.
Bad sevice ,skimpy drink pour. Atmosphere sucks.
Best place we found 2 bowl in the area. Nicely remodeled update with history 2 boot! A bonus is it's smoke-free!
A fun relaxing time to celebrate my husband's birthday. Great service.
Went here for a company event and the food was both generic and cold. I sent the cheesesteak back to get warmed. 15 minutes later it came back identically cold. They did actually add more fries, which were indeed warm, so there was that. Otherwise it seemed to be mostly just stuff you could get in the freezer section. Decor, bowling, and music were good though.
Great place for an event. Very good staff and food was really good.
Its an beautiful bowling alley and they have great drinks and food. Their mini corn dogs were like gourmet they were so good. Their staff was always very friendly and the bar tenders waited on us immediately
This place is AMAZING!!!!!!!
Relaxing
Went on a Saturday evening and it cost us $48 to rent a lane for an hour. We were only able to get one game an two frames into a second game. The place is decorated nicely, but it is super cramped in the seating areas by the lanes. Due to the price and layout of the alley, I'd definitely just go to one of the other bowling alleys in the area next time.
Quaint bowling alley...great drinks... food is pretty good... will definitely go again
This place lacks diversity which makes other businesses thrive here in Greenville. Will never compare to Charlotte StrikeCity!!
Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. It's definitely a smaller venue, but adds to the appeal of it. If you're going at the late hour on a Friday or Saturday, you may want to call ahead, as there can be a waiting list for a lane.
Great concept. Though very crowded.
Good vibe...good staff...good time!!
Nice venue with a classy atmosphere.
Cool place but its almost impossible to get a lane. They constantly rent it out for private events so I would highly recommend calling first so you're not turned away when you get there. Figure it out Stone Pin!
I'd visit again, but I think they're still developing their identity. Are we a bowling alley? a hip restaurant? a sports bar? Do we cater to the college crowd? business crowd? We sat down and ordered, around the time our drinks arrived, the jukebox began and the ability to have a comfortable conversation in the dining area ended.
One of our new favorite spots in Greenville! We took our 2 boys and had some snacks and bowled. We also love to go with friends for something different to do than just go eat. The food and drinks are great! Lunch and Bowl is also a great deal!
I had lunch at this location and was not impressed with the food but decor was nice. I ordered their chicken wings extra crispy. When they came out, they were not. I started to eat the wings and noticed some them were not fully cooked. I picked around the ones that were not done and placed them to the side. I asked the server how they prepared their wings. He stated the soak them in a salt brine before they fry them. I brought it to his attention that my wings were not fully cooked. I showed him what I was talking about and he stated that the reddish color is coming from the bone. He also stated that he couldn't see anything red in the chicken. I couldn't believe he just said that. So I picked up a piece of the skin and showed it to him. He bowed his head and shook it. This is all that he did. He did not offer to take the wings back to make it right nor did he say I will take something off of the bill. For me, that was my first and my last.
Full service bar, pretty good food (much better than any other bowling alley), only 6 lanes so it fills up quick but fun nonetheless.
Burgers and horse radish is not a good mix at all at all and fries are cold
