Not a great place to have fun. I was told I didn't need to pay for my 2 year old granddaughter game as long as I bought the shoes with them. I did buy the shoes and still ended up paying for her game. I complained to the manager and he showed a careless attitude towards my complaint. I will not go to this place ever again.

We had my son's birthday party here. They took very well care of us and all the kids had a great time. plus the arcade was nice so when the kids got tired of bowling they could play in the arcade while the parents bowled.

I took my husband bowling for his birthday and we took advantage of the all you can bowl special they have in Monday’s. It was AMAZING!! We haven’t had that much fun bowling in so long! We decided to make it a weekly date, but hurricanes and life has gotten in the way. I hope we can pick up this tradition soon!

We had a great time here. It was our first visit to this bowling alley. The staff was very friendly and they explained where everything was and how to work the machines. They went ahead and entered our names ahead of time so that the bumpers would go up for our 3 year old when she bowled. They also gave us a dinosaur ramp that she could use to bowl. It was a great experience and we will definitely plan another visit there.

This was my first visit here. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Very friendly people work here. They have a menu that is reasonably priced and good varieties of food and alcohol. I am adding this location to my fun places to go list.

Royal Lanes is great. Its the people that might change your opinion... As with all public places I suppose. 25yr non league, casual bowler speaking. This establishment delivers what it promises and I keep coming back for it. I bowl with my own shoes and balls but the lanes are kept nice. The ball returns have left battle scars on my balls but it is what it is. The staff has always been open and friendly despite not being a full time patron. My wife and I can bowl 3 games, have a pitcher of beer and bar snack foods for about 40 bucks and respectfully take 1.5 - 2hrs of the lanes time so I cant argue with that. I personally recommend this place except I dont because now you'll just be there now crowding up the joint with you eleveenteen children when I want some piece and quite. :)

Horrible experience. 2 adults 3 kids went bowling yesterday. Bought 2 games. Didn't make it through half if the first game because the machine was acting up. We were moved to next lane where the same thing happened. Then we we're moved several lanes down. Same thing. After that we just wanted to leave. Manager was only going to give refund for 1 game but I insisted on a full refund. Finally got refund but only on game not shoes. I will never go back to this bowling alley .

Nicer place. Went on a Monday night, there might have been about twelve other people already bowling. Everything was clean and functioning properly, so we enjoyed a few games with adult beverages. There's a nice bar there. All in all, great time. I highly recommend.

Royal Lanes is okay I don't particularly like their menu I didn't see nothing on the menu I would like to wanted to order or eat but it seemed dad and Jerry and boring in the middle of the day my dad went and got a picture of beer and I sat there freezing to death while he was while he was drinking that but overall I grew up in the bowling alleys my daddy is a bowling freak he's not anymore cuz he's 87 years old and he can't Bowl he can't hardly even hold the ball but ever since even years before I was born that's all he ever done was Bowl so occasionally I visited the bowling alley in Moncks Corner of just before my mom died with her a couple times it's a nice little place to go to get away but sometime I can't stand all that clinging I wish I could roll again I used to be great at it but both my shoulders bother me and my back is horrible I have too much leg knee and back problems I had left shoulder surgery and my right shoulder I fell three times on it so I wouldn't dare attempt to even try to bowl but anyway change the menu up a little bit get some real Tenders in there and some real chicken wings cuz that's what I was looking for chicken wings the other day in French fries and celery and carrot sticks and maybe some not oysters oh I can't take her to sea food do you eat with fish I'll think about it later not clam have a nice day O scale lips do you go get some scallops up in here I hear you got them I'll be in there at the bowling alley and get some scallops and some fried macaroni and cheese little bites and Fry em Krispy and a little hard Brown not raw that's a good menu

Great staff that work here. Morgan the young lady that helped me was amazing! Her infectious smile, greeting, and most excellent customer service skills were top of the line coming from a senior in high school. Between her, the gentleman running the pro shop with his extensive knowledge, and karaoke will keep me coming back. Great place solo, with friends, and family. Bring the kids, hang out, and have fun because this is a great place all around!

Be sitting there and took forever for the kid behind the desk to simply ask me what kind of sauce I would like with my chicken strips. But... Had a great time!

February 24th and during cosmic bowling LESS THAN AN HOUR IN and they stopped serving food. Said it was the fryers, but also stopped serving nachos and other items. Complete dissatisfaction.

First time going there and our lane broke down at LEAST 6 different times. It took about 5 to 10 minutes for it to get fixed. We started out patient and laughed about it but by the time we finished the 6th frame and waited the 10 minutes we were over it. The people next to us played nearly 3 games to our 6 frames. We went to leave and get our money back but were informed they don't give refunds on cosmic bowling because they don't know how many games we bowled. Our screen clearly stated this was our first game (it counts the total pins after each game and ours was all 0) but she still would not refund us. She finally offered to move us (why it wasn't offered the second or third time it broke is beyond me) but we had a babysitter waiting for us at home and already spent over an hour there so that wouldn't work. In the end she still refused the refund or any type of coupon or ANYTHING... they seriously need to rethink customer service because I cried the whole way home . New baby, first night out, blew 50 dollars and pleaded with the lady for our money back and it destroyed our evening. Really disappointed. Idk what wrong with people these days. Have compassion and do what you can for people.

Went to a birthday party here. Nice and clean bowling alley, great pizza and other food in the restaurant inside. There's a bar inside the restaurant part that has a pretty good selection of draught beers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No complaints. When you have to have the inevitable kids bowling alley birthday party this is a great place to have it.

Pretty good place to hang out with the family. The bar and food area needs some waitstaff. We sat in the bar and couldn't hear when our food was ready and had to go to bar to order drinks. A waitstaff would have been much easier.

They had lots of different games and many bowling lanes. It was very clean. They say parties get 2 hours bowling, but they want everyone fed and birthday cakes and presents and bowling done before then. Games cost 1.00 a piece and they have a photo booth. I would make sure to check your pizza crust 1 out of 2 pizzas has burnt crust. I mean black and you could not cut it like normal, it was bad. They do freeze your ice cream and refrigerate your cake if needed. Over all it was a good experience.

Between 1 and 5 PM, all you can bowl! My wife and I had our sons party here, I recommend just paying for the lanes instead of the party package, I save about $60 doing that instead of paying for the package. Food is cheap and she rental is as well.

We had a fun night out. Our lane was between two groups of people and they were a joy to be around. The bartender was helpful with mixing some fruity drinks for those who didn't like the taste of liquor. Only complaint is one of the girls up front had a major nasty attitude and stood around instead of helping her co-worker. We pressed the service button because our screen went out and she just stood there looking at us. Other than her, our time there was delightful.

If your looking to go bowling and grab a bit to eat. You may want to go some where else. The bowling Alley stays opened until 1/2am only thing is there kitchen closes at 10pm. That's pointless I'm not from here but I thought. When you serve alcohol in a bar connected to the bowling alley; that serves drinks to guest in the bowling alley as well. Is supposed to serve food when alcohol is being consumed. Guess not here unless they just chose not to follow the State health and compliance laws.

I love the kid friendly environment! There are bumpers that come up for the kids and go down for the adults. There are ball sleds that the little ones can use to send the ball down the lane. Plus there's a bar for the adults! The arcade is way over priced, don't waste your money. Each play is $1. Go to Monkey Joe's.

I was overcome with emotions when my boy and several other Cane Bay High students asked me to be " The Mom" who chaperoned the high school students after the homecoming dance in this 2018 school year. It was very surprising to find out that we were going to be going to Royal Lanes in Goose Creek. It really goes to show that the old bowling alley isn't just something that you do as a family, or as you get older, or back in the day. This establishment is very well appropriate for all ages. I was very surprised to find out that all the children wanted to go to bowl and that is exactly what they did. Of course it being on a weekend they did have to wait about an hour to get Elaine, but the food, cleanliness, staff, atmosphere was excellent. I was so excited that I could actually get iced coffee. And even hot coffee if I wanted to before I left. The kids were able to shoot pool play video games Bowl and even enjoy cosmic bowling, and a safe environment with absolutely no drinking or smoking for underage students at all. It was so nice and it was even nice to know that they wanted me to bowl with them and hang out with them not just sit there off to the side and stay undercover. LOL thank you to Royal Lanes for making the Cane Bay High School 2018 homecoming dance after party a success.

I live in Georgia and was down for vacation with my family. We all ordered food and/or drinks. When my name was called, some lady came up and walked right away with my food. The young ladies who were taking food orders were so very nice and apologetic. They even attempted to find out who had taken the food. I asked for extra time on my lane for the mishap and it was provided to me. A better system should be put in place when retrieving ordered food.

This is a HORRIBLE business. The people working here will not let children use bumpers because they are taller than a service desk. Their reason, “the children will break the bumpers”. A 9 yr old child who is maybe 3 inches taller than the desk was denied bumpers. She weighs 60 lbs. What kind of muscle do these people think this kid is hiding?? Gutter balls after gutter balls. The kids were so upset. You can only get a refund if you bowled less than 1 frame. I do not recommend families with children coming here. Certainly don’t throw a child’s birthday party here. They will not have fun. The kids also tried the arcade style games and it ate their money ($0.75). When asked for help the service desk said they couldn’t do anything because they don’t own the machines. That’s a very lazy attitude. They don’t have a key to retrieve the lost money? They don’t have an account with their vendor to get a credit issued and then refund the customer?

I've been to the bowling alley quite a few time, but I dont think I have ever brought my kids to this one. I was shocked to learn that they dont allow bumper for any child that is taller than the counter, which is pretty upsetting when you have a child who is autistic, who is used to always having bumpers, and in the 80th percentile for height and doesnt bowl well at all. We had already paid for the lane so it wasnt like we could just leave. They were not accommodating in anyway. I honestly dont see why it matters if they have bumpers or not, it's not like she was bowling in a competition or anything.

Great place, clean and spacious. Nice bar, short wait for lanes. The pricing is average, cosmic bowling on the weekend starts at like 11 til 2pm which starts way to late in my opinion. Not so much for the price discount but for the music to change/ black lights. Will be back.

I've been here quite a few times with the family and every time was a great experience. Unfortunately the games are kind of expensive, but it's worth it in the end. Every time I've came here there was always lanes open and I was able to get one instantly. The cleanliness was on point and it was nice that they had the bar.
