My boyfriend and I visited this establishment on a late Friday night. We got there almost around 12am and they close at 1am. Wished they stayed open later. We had lane 21, hopefully we don't get that one again because it had a few issues where when it was picking up the pins it would just stop and not put the pins back. Also my boyfriend made a strike but it didn't show up on the scoreboard the first time. Overall we had a good time but I gave it three stars because the male bartender that was there was very rude and short with us. He had a bit of an attitude when we were inquiring about drinks and purchasing them. We were asking just general questions because he didn't have the beer we wanted and we were gonna try a different one and he acted as though we were getting on his nerves but we let it go cause we came to have fun. He acted as though he didn't want to be there and we were bothering him by even coming to the bar. Maybe he had a bad day or something but I hope next time they have a nicer, helpful bartender like the lady that helped us first or he has a better attitude!

Took daughter n grandon here Saturday 23 march2019 had a blast . First time bowling in twenty years for me n grandson shamefukly we went to another ally first promptly turned around walked out . AMF whew thank you for being clean n not so frightening so ta speak. Any who my experience was such a good one I decided to do this every time i visit my grandson . As it will give me time to save up cuz quite frankly bowling has gotten very expensive but i guess with computers keeping kids n families home u guys cant afford ta stay open unless prices go up but any way . I hope my daughter brings my grandson every saturday as its good for his people processing teaches him manners and respect anyway thanks for being clean and thanks to the dude who teaches or runs the kids league who went above n beyond and more thank you!!!!

DON'T GO! It's not too late to turn back. Unfriendly staff and not a family friendly environment. This place is outdated with tight, very tight lane. The price were extremely expensive for such poor service. The tables were weirdly placed that I don't even know where to sit.

Old, Old, Old. The scoring system has to be from the early 80s. The approaches were sticky and old. They upgraded the screens to flat screen but the software is like 1980s Nintendo NES 8-bit. Way overpriced, got 2 orders of chicken strips (4 strips each no fries) nachos and 3 drinks $36. 5 people bowled two games each and it was $54 so total of $90 ridiculous. We went on a Friday at noon. I would hate to see how much the cost would have been if I went during primetime.

Poor Lane Maintenance. We bowl in a league and are consistantly dissapointed with the lanes quality. Atmosphere is good anf the management has hotten better in the last few months.

Went there on a Saturday night kind of late, myself and my husband took our son! The service was not that great, but the prices were good, they had cosmic bowling, and it was NOT as crowded as your other bowling alleys!! If you get a little hungry....They have AMAZING mozzarella sticks!

I enjoy this bowling alley more than all the others around Columbia because its convenient and not too overcrowded. My only complaint would be if it does get busy, waiting to check in and check out is too long.

It needs to be renovated, they were out of a lot of snack items which was a horrible experience for the kids. It was raining so the ceiling was l taking right when you walked in. I normally go to Anchor Lanes in Irmo....think I'll stick to what I know.

To start the staff, in particular Carol was very pleasant and helpful. The food was tasty and facility was clean . It was pretty empty even with two kids parties going on, that was a plus for an early Saturday evening. Based on the updated AMF bowling alley where we moved from in Cary NC, this Columbia SC AMF is pretty outdated this is why I gave it 3 stars. On my very first roll the ball was stuck and both myself and husband loss out on 1st two frames and had to change lanes because the ball's were stuck in mechanism. The person in the back that tried to fix it was very nice and retrieved one of the bowling balls I was using. We saw they have an independently owned pro-shop, a gameroom and a pool room, but we only bowled. Overall we would return due to pleasantness from the staff.

The guy at the counter worked with us to offer the best price on bowling. The lanes were freshly oiled, threw my game off but I suck anyhow. The food is good, try the wings. The sign is kind of hidden off the main road, use GPS if your not familiar with where it is exactly.

It took about 30 minutes to get a beer and 40 minutes to get a lane, however it was nice having unlimited bowling once we finally got a lane.

Pricing is awesome!! Guys in the front are very nice. One of the women in the concession part is rude and lazy. As it gets later, it's not as safe. There's no bright lighting in the parking lot and no security.

Customer service here was horrible. I have been three times and each time it has always been the same. The employees have no customer service training. They act like whatever you are complaining about is irrellevant. The black lady back there with the dreads that cooks the food ALWAYS has a nasty horrible attitude. She doesn't even need to work around people ever! She was rude, facial expressions, constantly walking away when you are trying to ask her questions. The food takes FOREVER to come out. They are understaffed at the wrong times. The lane I was on constantly kept having problems. The lane would let a bowler bowl 3 or 4 times before it reset. Most of the time it did not reset on its own and we had to do it manually. I do not recommend this bowling alley to anyone. They need new staff and enough staff to actually run the establishment!

My 4 year old son had a great time bowling. They put the bumpers up for him and brought him a ramp to roll the ball down so he didn't have to throw it. His ball got stuck a few times and they came to get it for him very quickly. I will definitely take him there again.

Please don't go! Bad location. Tight lanes. Poor service. Very outdated, I sat by the reset button every round and pressed the button. Took my 3 and 5 yr old because they wanted to bowl. Experience was beyond poor. Smallest ball was a size six. Not kids friendly. Save yourself the pain. Please don't go.

Columbia is very fortunate to have this bowling center! Our family (from out of town) met up with our local Columbia friends en route to FL. Our teenage sons bowl competitively all over the U.S., so we have been to many centers. AMF Columbia's lanes, lane condition/oil, food, seating/layout, and atmosphere is superior. The management and staff are friendly and hospitable. Next time we are road-tripping through SC, we will definitely plan to meet our friends again at AMF Columbia!
