You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is quite good, and it is based on a very large number of scores, so we can be pretty sure that the score is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to leave their opinion when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to give tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Bowling Alley corresponds to the category of Bowling alley.
Pretty cool place.
Great times in a casual setting.
Went to a friends wedding shower there. Its a neat old style bowling ally with a bar on one side had a blast. Only downside is that its very small
Very cool place to go with friends. Bowling is very enjoyable.
Great venue, lots of fun.
Really a Cousy place to meet up friends and get good time, really different place to be
Amazing bar room, MISERABLE bar staff. Also, $9.00 IPAs served in 12 ounce glasses. My friend and I were talking and I made a sarcastic comment to the bartender about how "The service was great, it felt like we were the only ones in there"...I was clearly joking...clearly. The bartender then had a meltdown. Said to me, "You think that's cool that you can just come in here and make fun of the fact we aren't making any money? What if I just added on a couple dollars to each one of your beers and tipped myself a few extra dollars? We don't even make enough money to go to the concerts next door." Wow. Nothing but class...get a hold of yourself, it's a Wednesday night!...not my fault your stupid overpriced bar was empty...
Had a great time
Soooooo fun!
This place by far is the coolest, low key spot i've been to in awhile! Love the bowling area/bar combined together!
I really like the atmosphere (bowling alley on the third floor of an old brick building) and the bowling is fun. However I’m frequently disappointed by the staff who all have their cell phones out constantly and don’t seem to care. Last time we went I was particularly peeved that they let the party before us go over their time to finish a string but one of our pin setters walked away for several minutes in the middle of our game and then cut us off right at the end of the time slot (not giving us the number of minutes we paid for)
Great beer awesome space.
Fun environment for a hangout with friends
There for a wedding..great venue
It's a fun place, rowdy at times depending on the time you go. Great drinks. Great crowd. And the atmosphere is social friendly.
Had an amazing experience! So much fun and kid friendly!!! Great for family outings!
Overpriced beer and food. Fair-priced bowling. I was told they're under new management. Left with a less-than-satisfied impression on quality of service. Great concept, poor execution.
Cool place. Great beer selection
Love this place!
NOT impressed. We had a party at this bowling bar. Very pricey with minimal staff. We got shoved in the corner in front of the bathrooms. We had our food a couple feet from the ladies room. Our 2 bowling lanes were reserved at a specific time slot, but yet they had people playing on them for half an hour before we forced them to move. Management was no where to be found when we had questions. Very disorganized. Too bad since it has such potential. Will not be back.
Was there early on a Friday, about 5:30 so I cannot comment on the evening scene. The bowling alley's are awesome, a real throwback. I'm old enough to remember when there were still a few of these old-school bowling alleys open and having humans resetting the pins and gravity bringing the balls back was a real flashback. They have a good but not great variety of craft beers and obviously, mixed drinks. We had a plate of nachos and while they're not traditional, they were excellent. It was a fun experience and we will definitely be going back.
Old timey fun and full bar. No machine reset actual humans resetting the pins after each frame. Just cool.
Very nice place to hang out. Food is good and drinks are better. They don't have air conditioning, so being there in the summer is tough.
Not into a place that serves liquor while 16 yr Olds are there partying...
This place is a hidden gem on the third floor of the Hope Artiste Village. Easy, relaxed place to go duckpin bowling. Rent a lane for an hour, hang out and enjoy delicious drinks.
Family fun, fairly priced. Cool space and unique vibes
This place is a lot of fun! Came here on a date with my wife. Reasonable rates for lane rentals, awesome 90s playlist, and the beers are on par with any tap house I’ve been to. Burgers and pizza are also very high quality. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone.
Great place to go with friends :)
Drinks are a little pricey, but the cost of an hour bowling is only $20. No shoe rental required! It's a beautiful space, all wood, and vintage lanes make this place stand out. Great classic rock music selection.
Great spot. Took the kids today and we had a blast.
Cheap drinks warm atmosphere
Over prices food and beer and they double charged me and nothing is being done. Will never go back again, never recommend it.
Really old school bowling place. Very small, not big enough for even a moderate bowling party. Very unaccomodating to a small party that had 2 lanes reserved and 1 of which was being used half the time by other customers.
Planned a bachelor party for my brother, for 24 people. From beginning to end, Michael and the staff at BT were more than helpful, answering every little question we had, planning a great menu for the night, and making sure we had everything we needed. The bowling experience itself is one-of-a-kind, and the beer selection and food options were top-notch. A perfect night - thanks BT!
One of Pawtucket's hidden gems. Take a trip back to the 19th century with Breaktime Bowl and Bar. The interior is excellent and the bowling experience is unique.
Really fun
Duckpin bowling is a blast. Really nice atmosphere.
Great atmosphere. Order a pizza from down below and you're good to go. Some of the most fun I've had in a long time.
Never been anyplace remotely like it. It's out of a different era.
Cool concept, not very well executed. Rented three lanes for two hours for a small gathering. The place was empty otherwise. The bartender was nice but ultimately his lack of basic bartending knowledge and customer service skills left me with a lukewarm feeling. I'm not a fan of loud obnoxious music or laser lights but I felt the atmosphere could have been alittle bit better. Maybe turn the music up and dim the lights alittle. Overall it was an ok experience. I'm sure it would be an ok place to kill time with a few buddies over beers but honestly at 20$ an hour to bowl your better off going to a normal bowling alley with automated lanes. I mean other than the aestetic there's not much on offer here. I really wanted to like this place but ultimately it fell short of expectations.
Preserved gem in historic Pawtucket, RI. Great place to grab a quick drink and lounge. Chill out while challenging some buddies to a round in the tricky, yet fun, authentic style Duckpin bowling. The cozy nook, has a warm and friendly staff coupled with it's signature feel, which makes your "breaktime" refreshing. It's a one of a kind experience, and a must stop if you're in the area.
Drinks are a little pricey but staffs nice and it's only 20$ for a hr of bowling up to 6
Holy old school, kids and adults had a blast.
Was like a step back in time.. self scoring... Manual pin set up...but great beer
Great place - good looking people too
Had 8 poeple orders six shots and they cut us off after saying we ordered too many shots. Management said it was the law to not serve us and we we're celebrating a friends birthday wouldnt come back to this place.
It's a neat place but I'm pretty sure the beer there made me sick.
It is cool place different kind of beers and non mechanical bowling alley.. got to see it
Very fun night!!
Hidden gem! It was really cool to have a pinsetter!
Super awesome fun local spot! Everyone is so great!!! Bartenders, bowling crew are so fun...duck pin bowling is the best! Great craft beers and app menu! Fun time! Just do it!
Neat place, old fashioned bowlling and all... but the bowling/hangout area is very small and feels confining... hard to explain. I'd enjoy it more if that area had more room.
Fun place
The atmosphere, staff, and the venue is unbelievable. The story behind this place is too cool. The drinks were average. The food, which is sub-par, is from the restaurant below called Blaze. We only had the pizza but it was soggy and only warm. They should have left it in the oven another 5 minutes. If they figure out the food, this place would be awesome.
Drinks were weak. I ordered one with muddled jalepenos and they were 100% green peppers, not jalapenos. Slow service. Bowling was fun; pin setters were great. Pizza was good but also tasted like maybe just the best frozen pizza you've ever had.
Fun time and a fun find. Great history here. Original bowling alley restored from when it was for the factory workers. Great bar. Only thing missing for me was food.
Lots of fun. Good drinks!
Cool historic bowling alley in converted mill space. Big kind of noisy space with great beer selection and dogs & burgers menu.
What a great concept food, fun and entertaining. I've been here before and would have given 4-5 Stars. This visit I'm stretching out to 3 Star. The service was below the industry standard and management or lack of is to blame. A Sunday night 5:30 not busy great time to Seattle down have dinner. At first the waitress took are order for appetizers then the meal. 10 minutes later both the appetizers and my meal came out both over cooked (a medium hamburger is now burnt through and dryed chicken wings black). My wife got half of her meal I had to go ask for the rest of it. Waitresses bartender and Cooks standing around the bar Chit Chat. One may ask where's the manager!!!! The 3 stars help represent the atmosphere and fun you can have I know they can do better.
Fun interesting and different.
Cool place. It was dead silent when we went. Bartender said they didn't realize the music was off. Sorta killed the atmospherr
Very cool place to grab a drink, parking is a nightmare
awesome vintage bowling ally, great vibe, bar, pins and small bowling balls set up and sent back by staff.
Great fun. Excellent food and drinks. The bowling alley is awesome
Bar could be a little better stocked but other than that its an interesting way to spend an evening
Awesome place to go and have fun with your family and friends. The staff are super friendly.
A great place to sit and relax and have a beer with friends
Great atmosphere, great drink/food selection, and a whole lot of fun!
We had the best time but you should book 2 hours
This is a great place to have a drink with friends and Bowl a game. Lanes here are the originals from the early 1900's. There are no mechanical parts, the pins are actually placed by attendants.its an interesting experience to day the least.
Casual. Cheese burger pizza was delicious.
Great bowling area and staff. The guys stacking pins work hard and have great attitudes. Fun time
Bowling is very janky but charming, but the best part about this place is the excellent service and the fantastic cocktails.
My firm rented this space for a photo shoot and the event manager, Jacqueline, was absolutely horrible to deal with. She was unresponsive to our office throughout the planning process, to the point that I had to physically show up at the site to get any answers to our questions and to prompt a proposal from her. Upon doing a walk through with our photographer a couple days later, Jacqueline, knowing the appointment time, didn't even have the courtesy GET UP FROM HER DESK to have a conversation with us or walk through the space with us! Further, when I did show the photographer the space, their maintenance person was painting the walls of the space we were renting and I had to direct him to postpone the process (we were renting the space because it was industrial and rustic with exposed brick - painting the walls a complete shift from the space we were "sold"!). When I brought that up to Jackie, she seemed to be inconvenienced by my request to wait the two days until our photo shoot was over stating "we have a deadline" to meet with the painting. Then, upon the day of the event, she didn't check in with our group ONCE, we came in and left without a single interaction from anyone on staff! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! Breaktime is a cool atmosphere for a unique outing, but if you're looking for an event space, dealing with Jackie would make this location a hard pass for me in the future. Customer service is one of the most important avenues of a business and Jackie needs significant training when it comes to this. The fact that I was forced to figure things out on my own repeatedly though this process, thankfully I have extensive event planning experience, otherwise this could've been a disaster!
We had a reception their , kicked us out before allotted time
I liked this place, great to enjoy with friends
Ruined what should have been a special night! Called to reserve 3 lanes at least a month in advance for my daughter's 21st birthday. thought it would be great place to entertain all including the 4 children aged 8-.14. I stopped in a week before to check out place and confirm details. The night of party, all excited and kids couldn't wait to bowl. Reserved 3 lanes for 8-9:00...got there at 6 to make sure had tables. told guests to arrive at 630.first they set us up at wrong area that was supposed to be for another party and asked us all to move...fine ..rolled with it....still happy. ordered a bunch of food for my party of 12...and drinks ...service ok...food good. bathrooms had issues ...overflowing toilets and flooding. still ok overall. but at 730 started asking about process to obtain the 3 lanes and was told they would let me know...ten past 8....asked again...was told they would take care and to wait a minute....830 manager tells me there was an issue and they only had me booked for two lanes....Ok...I'll take the two lanes at this point.....wait another 20 minutes.....with my family all asking what's happening....when are we bowling?..and he finally comes over and tells me there are no lanes available and we can't bowl! REALLY?!...Now I have two kids crying because they've been staring at others bowling for over two hours waiting for their turn. 21st birthday party ended on a real sour note....I was extremely disappointed... not something I can get back....can't celebrate my daughter's birthday again. Manager took $50 off bill....but just really doesn't compensate for the ruined evening at all.
I would not go again. It's more of a bar than a bowling place. Very unorganized because the staff doesn't do much when people over stay their lanes.
Very very very fun activity. They got out late e a little confused but that was sorted out quickly. Bar prices are a tad high, but everything is worth it.
Fantastic! The old-fashioned charm of the lanes is great! Food is OK. Wish they had A/C on hot weather days. Service was pretty good too.
Very cool place. Historic little bowling alley, fun bar, diverse and eclectic crowd. Loved it!
Fun time we cocktails here before dinner at my niece's wedding
It's a bar. With a few duckpin lanes, which are hand-set. It really makes me appreciate automated alleys because the hand-setting is not a plus. It takes a while between frames, sometimes there's a foot blocking you from rolling as the adjacent Lane is being set, and sometimes you only roll eight frames and the setter wanders off, so you call it a game.
Excellent
I do t go to bars but it was close to where i live. One and only bar ill go to.
Old-school bowling in an industrial space. Very fun, and great for events.
Unique and quirky. Overpriced for the bucket tho.
Super hip and fun. The nachos are good too.
Pretty cool. Something different.
Vintage brick mill suite.Nice atmosphere. There's only one bartender that seems new. The manager makes a good drink. Kinda cramped for bowling purposes. Didn't get to try their food.
