I think the quality of the food from the restaurant could be better, the prices could also be a bit more competitive. If those two points were touched by this establishment, it would better. Overall a good place to have some good family fun.

Very expensive and the bowling lanes are too crowded for several people to bowl. 1 hour is not enough time for 4 people to bowl 2 complete games and they shut the lane off with 2 of us in the 10th frame. I have had better frozen pizza! We drove a long way and left very disappointed!

The atmosphere is nice, but the drinks and food my mom and I had were not what we expected. The Mojitos were horrible, most likely due to the Sierra Mist (which definitely doesn't belong in a Mojito) and the lack of mint. My mom's onion rings came out cold and the pita chips that came with the Spinach and Artichoke dip were tough. If I ever decide to go back, which I probably won't, I'll stick with beer and eat before I go. The bowling and games were cool, kids will really don't it. But not what I expected for the price. And all the staff was concerned about was getting off of work, so that may explain the horrible drinks and subpar food. I wouldn't recommend this place, but someone else may have a different experience.

Wonderful place for Birthdays. My son's birthday was a blast , all the kids and adults had a great time ! The staff was very patient and helpful ! Are host Lexi was just wonderful, went out of her way to make are party run smooth, she was so friendly and great with the kids ! The food was delicious. Everything was very reasonably priced , and the games were a blast ! I will definitely be back !!!!

This place was really nice. There is so much to do here with all different age family members. The food is great and the prices for everything is very reasonable. I highly recommend a visit. I was there on a Saturday and it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be.

This was a fun place for the whole family! Arcade style games, laser tag, and bowling. They have a huge beer selection as well. Dinner was a 3.5 at best but I don't expect much from a bowling alley. I would recommend this for a kids party all day long.

We played laser tag, which was fun. They had some cool arcade games. They have bowling too but we didn't bowl. They also have an escape room for $25 per person. We didn't go but that is a bit cheaper than a lot of places so that's a nice addition and I would check it out next time. The 3 stars is because of the restaurant. Now, I don't expect a restaurant in an arcade to be too notch. But I do expect simple items to be made correctly. The burgers were pretty poorly cooked. My wife ordered medium well and it came out BURNT. I ordered medium and it was close to rare. Sister in law had to send her burger back as well. They did fix us new burgers, but mine was very well done and had some burnt parts the next time. The pizza came out super doughy and we had to send it back. So total 4 items needed to be sent back due to poor cooking. I would go back to Zone 28, but wouldn't eat there again.

Great for kids, like an upgraded Chucke Cheese. Had fun watching the kids play all the games, attended two birthday parties there and the kids had a blast. Maybe a break to go hit the bowling allies with some adult time would add a star, no fault of the venue but atmosphere was loud and kids running everywhere just needed a break from the noise. All the games seemed sticky, and wasnt the cleanest place in the world. Went to the attached restaurant and food was great. Not too pricey and was a good getaway to watch some ESPN while the kiddos could have a good time with their friends. Shorter trip for us, but had a better time at fun for all.

Nice looking place inside and out. Although I would double check before you go to have any sorts of entertainment, even a few hours of being at the place can drain any ones pocket book. Also I should mention to those who like good service especially if they are welcomed with it, Don’t expect it passed entry. Very poor food and drink service.

Extremely rude staff, highest prices you will ever find. Also, the arcade kiosks will frequently over-charge your credit card and they will not give ANY refunds, even with a receipt. The best type of quality control is refusing to spend your hard earned money at places like this.

2nd time there and the outside bar cannot keep accurate tabs. Ask for detailed receipt if you do go... I had a beer and a hoagie on my bill that wasn't mine. The bar tender said oh I'm sorry I must have but the person next you you on your bill... But wasn't going to take it off. They charge you $10 an hour for cornhole bags to play... As you buy drinks and food all night... It should be free. Won't be going back.

We went to do other stuff and they threw all our drinks and food away that we clearly weren't done with. They did replace it but we had to complain which I don't like having to do.

A couple friends and I went here for a trivia night a couple weeks ago. When we got there it was pretty empty so we put our food in to hopefully get it quickly and ended up having to remind the waitress an hour later that we ordered it and I guess they forgot to put it in. By the time we got our food it was basically time to leave, so that was pretty annoying. As for the trivia night it was actually a lot of fun. The prizes were minimal but since it was a free event you can't really expect a lot. If the service was better I would definitely do this again but I'm hesitant after this experience.

It was super fun. Bowling was affordable and the game prices were in league with places such as Dave & Buster's. The drinks were a little over priced, but the bartenders also were a little heavy handed so it evened out. I would definitely return whether it was with friends (such as my photo) or with family. Great way to spend a day.

Went for our daughters 23rd Birthday, we ate at the restaurant and our waitress was Kilee She was wonderful and the food was so good. Try the wedding soup! 4 of our group did the Escape room and got out with just 5 minutes to spare! We won a big ball, played so many games and just found everyone to be so helpful and friendly. I use a wheelchair and the Accessability was perfect. I had no issues going anywhere, we also had an baby in our group and the cleanliness was 5 star. Great place for a good family evening or a date!

Overall it is not bad. We booked the whole suite for about 50 people. The suite has 8 lanes and an independent bar which is great. However, we then found that 8 lanes were not enough and they did not provide bowling shoes for people in the suite. The game price in the lounge is also too high and I personally did not find any interesting games there. Car racing games are old and basically all other games, such as basketball shooting, fps, skee ball, and etc, end in 2 minutes, making them just not worth the price. The escape room is a must try. We played the room 113 whose difficulty is moderate and its setting is kind of scary which is my favorite. 45 minutes is a short time but you should be able to make it. Glad to have a place to spend my night in pittsburgh.

This place can get VERY expensive and quick! To bowl, you can pay by the hour or by the game. The options at the lanes are so cool. The food can be ordered and sent right to your lane. There are two restaurants on site- just basic food, nothing spectacular. Playing games is what can take you broke with kiddos. Game cards are distributed and they keep track of your points. My husband was able to get two balls from the giant claw machine, and it appeared that within minutes there was someone "fixing" it. The cost to play is high, the tickets distributed is low, the prizes are cheap- not too much different than other arcade like areas. Over all it was a fun time, but not something we are going to do very often as it is overpriced for what it delivered.

Good place to spend a few hours with kids. Expensive if your kids play a lot of games. Laser storm arena is nice and bigger arena than laser storm. Bowling alleys look nice. Didn't bowl since it was too expensive for an hour. Didn't eat there so can't comment on food.

Disappointed, I went there for my birthday on 2,8 an the prices weren't made clear. From 11 - 2 it's $17 on a Friday night, before 11pm it's $40 an hour. They should have only charged us 40 an hour up to 11pm then changed it to $17 for the remaing time. Yes we were confused an for that they should of fix it. Also I didn't even get any Birthday special..first time there, at the same time last time there... #I do not recommend this place..

I found this restaurant to have a nice selection of American fare. I had the fish and chips. The portion was huge. I had to take a doggy bag home. Reasonable prices, helpful staff, and nice atmosphere. I didn't utilize the game room, but I will on my next trip.

It was a blast. If you like Dave and Buster's, but would prefer some other forms of entertainment, Zone 28 is for you. There's a full bowling alley right at the main entrance, a laser tag battle zone, and a decently sized and equipped arcade. This is the perfect place to let your little boys and girls have a blast without blowing the budget.

My daughter's birthday party was held here. Great package. This place has come a long way. A nice restaurant, a sports bar with a wonderful selection of beers, an escape room, a large arcade, lazer tag, and bowling. All of the kids had a great time. The cost was well worth the price. The staff was super. Clean and family friendly. Quite noisy, of course.

Took my nephews here. It had been a while since I was in this place. Wow! What a change. The kids loved it. We never did get around to any bowling because they spent the whole time playing games and laser tag. Next time we go we plan on checking out the restaurant, it looked really nice and the food looked good.

I went through the escape room with a group of friends, and we had a blast. The girl manning the station was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely try it again if the themes change. If you get the chance, try it out. I think a group of 8 or 10 was about $200, which was reasonable. Definitely cool

The children had fun..... with that being said: Went to bowl and for $40 we got 1 hour, while in the 10th frame all ended. During our 1 hour we ordered food totaling $36 and change, gave $40 never received change, never saw server again, no refills ever offered. Went to game room to get gaming cards only to see a sign with $20 special which would have saved a good bit of $$$.... and it was never offered!! Multiple games were not working and there was no one to help. The 2 young ladies working the redemption counter were great but very busy. Many children in the game room but no one walking around to pick up/clean up beer bottles left behind, so they were sitting in reach of children.

While here with my family spending my hard earned money, I ordered nachos. Everything under the first layer were complete crumbs. I returned it and spoke with a manager. Completely apathetic to the situation she told me "sometimes the bag gets bumped". I asked her quite bluntly why someone would then serve them to a customer. I guess I didn't expect excuses, and apathy. Maybe a smile and an attempt to keep a customer. Edit: they have reached out to me in quite a lackluster, generic apology. This is just insulting.

We got ripped off here for bowling. It was like $50/hour- i think we bowled 1 and a half games and then our game shut off and they wamted us to pay $20 per person for all night bowling and wouldnt let us finish our game. Everything was over priced here and i wont go back. Restaurant was ok but service was pretty bad.

Two stars for misleading specials. Place is "okay" for games. Bowling is good. Food at the restaurant is not very good and service is poor. On President's Day, the kiosks you purchase cards advertised "One Free Game of Bowling and One Free Game of Laser Tag if you put $20 on a Game Card" what dont get told is if you only go to the bowling desk for the offer. The manager pretty much said, "sorry" but tough luck...if you purchase at the kiosk, the offer is not valid (even though the advertising posters don't say that). This is BS...

Pretty decent price for a fun time and there's a lot to do. The bar was a little slow though and I think they could have used more help for a Saturday. Also, there was no one at the laser tag counter and we had to get someone there to let us play.

I took my 7 year old son here today (Wednesday) and we had a blast! Every Wednesday is half price for all arcade games and we spend about $40 and had 4 hours of fun! We will be back! He had so much fun he wants to come back tomorrow. Thank you for helping us create an amazing memory :)

This is without a doubt one of the most over priced places of its kind that I ever been too. The bowling and games are simply too expensive for a typical family. The pizza at the party my kid attended was not very good either. Outside there were far too many people smoking out on the sidewalk to the point you had to walk out on the parking lot to get around them. There also should be signs up pointing to the exit off guys run rd. Turning north onto Freeport rd. from the other exit is very difficult. Trying to get a drink here is tough, easier just to bring a bottle of water in with you. On the positive side, place was big and it seemed to be pretty clean also.

Place was great. Staff was polite and attentive. I only went there on a company "team night" under the promise of prepaid bowling. Walked in, found my coworkers at the bar. Made some small talk, had 3 beers from their pitcher, thinking we'll be there for a while. Just as I'm finishing the third (maybe an hour and a half into my visit, everyone decides they want to leave. No bowling was had. I was buzzed, broke, and it was late. I had to sleep in the backseat of my car in the parking lot until I was absolutely positive I had sobered up. Mediocre experience overall, but to no fault of the establishment.

Nice looking place but the bowling lanes are terrible. The approach was so sticky that I almost fell every time I bowled. We bowl regularly and other bowling lanes in Pittsburgh are not like this- it was impossible to slide. Hard to believe that they actually had a league bowling here. The waitresses also never came to our lane. Dissapointing considering this is WAY more expensive than local alleys because they charge per hour for the lane.

This place has been around for a long time but the new update is really great. This place has everything from bowling and lazer tag to video games and escape rooms. It's not the cheapest place by any means but there is plenty of fun to be had if you've got cash in your wallet (or money on your parent's credit card).

I went there for the very first time me and my fiance went there to play pool so we decided to eat first we both had the ribeye steak unfortunately for us we wanted mashed potato with vegetable medley considering that we did not like their selection for sides Order but unfortunately for us they did not have it but they tried to give us double order of mashed. I never been to a restaurant that has no or anything to offer for a meal my steak alone tasted old and the meat almost tasted like it was spoiled meat the meat was also not even season it had tast so we had to send back our stake to be cook two times I tried to use some table salt even their table salt was so old and Rocky I had to shake it up real good so I can be able to sprinkle some salt on my steak. Overall my bill was over $75 I thought it was Ridiculous they will charge me that amount of money when I did not get too side order the only good thing that came out of that whole ordeal that the waitress was good on Her job I know one thing for sure they have a lot of people going there to bowl that's about the only good thing about that place.!!!! I would never go there again my opinion there's food really sucks..!!!!!!!!

I have been here at least twice. Here's the pros and cons of this place. It's not a bad facility, but I totally prefer Scene 75 over this place. Pros - they recently renovated the place and now it has a new and sharp look to the facility. There's two restaurants (one of them with an ourdoor bar and mini bowling). There's a legit arcade area now, a private bowling area if you want to reserve for your own party, laser tag and escape room. They offer a $20 deal - where you get an hour bowling, $20 in arcade credit, and one session of laser tag. Cons - due to the renovations and adding more attractions to the facility, there are less bowling lanes and space, and felt pretty cramped. My group of friends reserved two lanes and I felt pretty claustrophobic with other people so close to us bowling. Also, we definitely didn't get an hour of bowling, more like 45 minutes. They started the countdown immediately when we purchased the lane and it took 15 minutes for everone to get shoes and set up the lane for bowling. Lastly, the food was just ok, not the best, I expected better. For instance, the pretzel stick that I ordered was bland and the beer cheese that came with it was too hard, couldn't really dip the pretzel sticks in. There is something strange about this place, but I can't quite put my finger on it... The drinks are over priced (in my opinion, $14 for a pitcher of beer is a bit high), but bowling prices are reasonable if you go on a night where they have a special, such as Ladies' Night on Thursday ($10 for guys at the time of this review). They really push the advertisements for "Suite 28", which is a few lanes at the end of the building with some tables and screens for a business party or something of the sort. I would not recommend Zone 28 if you're a serious bowler due to the kid friendly, loud environment, but it is a fine establishment to take the family or a few friends for a standard night of standard fun.

We had a lot of fun for a child's birthday party. The only downside is the party rooms are along the left hand and back walls out of view from watching the kids have fun bowling. They recently remodeled and did a nice job. Just wish the party rooms had better access to watch kids bowl.

The bowling section has some awesome games while bowling. Loved it! The arcade was lacking a little and quite a few of the games were out of order. The food was as expected. All around a great and fun experience I will do again.

Great bowling alley for groups. We had a big work team outing 30ish people and it was really nice. We didn't check out the arcade but it seemed nice. The Tesla chargers were awesome

We booked Room 113 online for a Saturday night with friends. When we arrived, they did not have our info and had already sent another group in. We agreed to do the other room but refused to pay for all 6 of us again after paying for 1 to reserve the room online. At that point a manager came over and offered to give us the Room 113 escape room at a later time slot. We had plans after but he offered it to us for free for the inconveniences. Awesome, right? We returned at the later time and no one was at the desk. When we finally get to talk to the person manning the rooms, he said they had just sent 7 people in to the room we were earlier promised, but we could join them. We had reserved the entire room for our group and did not want to try to cram 13 people in a room. The manager returned to apologize again. We stated our case and how disappointed we were in the service. He gave us vouchers to come back and do the room we wanted originally, as well as the current room. The room was fun and challenging but the service and communication among workers was lacking. We're definitely disappointed but the manager did try his best to rectify the issues. If you book online, I'd call to verify and arrive at least 20 minutes early.

My cousin books a room for her birthday every year so we can all get together for bowling and laser tag. Under the former name of fun fest, we would have the greatest time. Now that it is zone 28...not so much. We were held to a VERY strict minute by minute schedule...one hour of bowling from 745-845. One of our lanes malfunctioned and was unable to be used for 10 minutes and shoe rental took forever due to one employee working the counter...of course would no added time to make up for wasted time in the shoe rental line. On the 10th frame of our (only) game, the lanes were shut off with no announcement. Pizza was next...845-900. Management forces a poor employee to awkwardly stand in the doorway of your rented party room to stare at you while you eat. Then you're ushered like livestock towards laser tag...again sticking to a minute by minute schedule. Laser tag was great if you have a small enough group to not have to worry about malfunctioning and unusable equipment. Overall, what was a yearly tradition to reconnect with cousins and have a fun time together will no longer continue at this poorly managed dumpster fire due to the treatment we received at our event. We were made to feel like a bother and it is incredibly uncomfortable to be stared at non stop by staff while eating. The food is elementary school cafeteria level anyway, but I digress. The rude and disinterested staff hardly makes the food or the overall experience more enjoyable. Just spend few more bucks and go to Dave and Buster's. PS...it seems as though management or owners would prefer to reach out in reviews to disgruntled guests rather just doing right by them in the first place...please don't ask to hear more about my experience. It was as awful as your soggy nachos, as insulting as your pizza, and as worthless as your brand recognition.

I've been the Zone 28 twice since it's been renovated. It used to be called fun fest when I was a childand we would go often. I was a little hesitant to go since the remodel but I am so happy I did. It's beautiful and for people of all ages. There is a restaurant and a full bar. Great staff and very nice and clean.

Great bowling alley and arcade. Drinks can be a little more sugary than other bars and I'm not sure if they contain much alcohol content. Prices are high on food and drinks. If you're here for the entertainment, then you'll have a blast.

I have been here for a networking meeting at lunch and several after-hours business events. It is a great place to have casual or professional meetings, hang out with friends or bring the family. The beer park has great outdoor atmosphere and fun games as well. The entire place is fun and entertaining, they have something for everyone. Bowling, video games escape room, bean bag toss, bocci. Check this place out.

Super clean very fun lots to do great bowling alleys fun arcade games and pretty good food. In the evening to have a great bar and if you want to drop the older kids off while you go next door to the beer garden, you can do that too

Great time for the whole family. We bowled and had a pile of drinks, appetizers, and pizza. The loaded fries are amazing. Kids of all ages had a blast and so did the adults (bowling skills aside). Definitely want to go back and check out the private bowling section.

I love it there! I personally loved the laser tag! The alien theme is so fun and exciting! I also like the games! My favourite game was the Maniquine Challenge game! I was hilarious watching my best friend do all these crazy dances. Food is great as well! Would definitely recommend the pizza!

Really nice place, however we couldn't get a waitress at all no matter how many times we asked. We even walked to the bar and they said they will send a line waitress. After an hour we asked once again about ordering food and they allowed us to do it from the bar.

Nice place to do bowling, It was a little difficult to get the ball of smaller sizes. around 18$ for unlimited bowling after 11 PM! Food is also good. they have separately priced arcade games.

I drove an hour just to come for them to be closed (even though they don’t close till 11pm) on their door says “closed due to power outage” even though ALL of their lights on inside and the employees are really RUDE!
