Idle Lanes is a nice little bowling Alley. The mini golf is cool to have but could use some more obstacles. The arcade is one of the best features about Idle Lanes. It has a decent assortment of games and is very clean. Will be going back for sure.

Average pricing, nice lanes. Had a restaurant/bar for sure down eating. Arcade with small claw machines a pinball machine, and a few video games. Miniature golf is neat. They are remodeling at this time to put in Dave & Buster type games where they just took out the pool tables. They will also be remodeling and making larger the kitchen and seating area.

Laser tag opens at 6:00 PM but it is a 20 minute wait so around 6:20 it will open. Sometimes the ball for bowling gets stuck but it’s still it good place to visit.

I have lived in Lackawanna County my entire life and gone to Idle hours dozens of times. My first date was here. My family was here recently for my step father's surprise 50th birthday party...30+ people. Everything was fantastic except for one employee who literally harassed us the entire time. SCREAMING at us not to throw away the plastic French fry baskets and causing a 10 year old boy to tears over getting a ball stuck in the gutter. He paced and lurked back and forth like a hungry lion, waiting for someone to devour for the rest of the time we were there. Please, he should be fired! This is not how you interact with the public. Again, I love Idle Hour Lanes, it's a wonderful place for families and I have very fond memories throughout my life here. But this guy needs to be removed or thoroughly counseled.

Place is under renovations but I have to admit the lanes are pretty nice and the balls aren't all banged up, never been here before today but I would love to go back and see it when it's all finished and see how the new airings turned out. Love that they are 24 hours too

Very friendly staff. They worked with us to get 2 lanes together for our large crowd. Fun atmosphere, but I would have loved to see a huge food court for is hungry bowlers. We had a lot of kids with us and I know I would have bought food if it was offered.

Although not the most modern bowling facility you couldn't ask for a better experience. Recently bowled a tournament there an had a very good time. From the actual shot , staff, food and fun definitely a good time was had by all. Will be back next year!!!!

We purchased shoes and bowling bags and the woman that waited on us was very helpful. She worked with us to make sure the shoes fit right and were comfortable. It was such a pleasant experience . She relaced my shoes to take pressure off certain areas on my feet . I d idn.T know there was different ways to do this . it helped considerably. I have permanent hardware in one foot so it is hard to find fit and comfort. Very professional.!

Our Company party was at Idle Hours last night. Everyone had fun bowling even the kids had a lane enjoying the bumper bowling. The staff made planning the evening so easy and when we got there they took care of everything. Friends, food and bowling...great fun

Great and friendly place to Bowl. Took my 7 year old daughter there and she had a blast. They have auto bumpers for your kids that go up for them and down when it's your time to bowl. They also have Glow in the dark mini golf with is a ton of fun.

Favorite place to bowl in lackawanna county. If you want a better experience of bowling go to idle hours. They really grew in the last couple of years. They have a store, arcade games, a mini golf course, big flat screen tvs that arent that distracting above the lanes. If you want the full experience go to their cosmic bowling nights for laser lights and millenial pop music. Its $8.95 a person per game + for shoes.. overall Its a great atmosphere and i enjoy this place very much when going out with family and friends!

Under construction, it's open 9 an to midnight. The prices are great for kids lanes were already set up for kids with bumpers balls and a dragon ramp. Computer scores were a little off but the kids could not have cared less. Serious bowlers can adjust the score thru the computer. The arcade was clean and they enjoyed it. Grandparents had to learn how to put "credits" into a credit card ..but its doable. Had a really good morning.

Aside from the wait times during cosmic bowling, I've always had a good time here. Sometimes there's a shortage of lightweight bowling balls, but that's because it's always so busy. The lounge is dark and kind of gross, but the drinks are okay.

Even though it is under going construction and may be a bit confusing it is great service. We had 5 of us it was around 40 for 2 games and shoe rentals but it was so much fun you can choose to have bumpers for some players and after their turn they go down for the next person. You can take a picture of yourself and depending on how you bowl it will make funny faces with funny mouths etc. The staff was great asking if they can do anything or if we needed help. The tray of pizza was excellent and fed us all two adults two teenage boys and my younger daughter. The blacklight mini golf is 9 holes and fun. Definitely worth checking out.

The glow golf was really fun but flew by fast for $15 and bowling was way too expensive when you have to pay $3 a person for shoe rental.. It would have cost us $25 for one game! I was also disappointed that they didn't have pool tables.. Wish I could do fun things like this with my family without it costing $50 an hour!

Staff at the desk is awesome and friendly. Lanes were pretty good but I'd hazard to guess a little heavy on the oil. The one things I was most disappointed about was my 'wing bites' they were actually chicken tenders and they were drowning in the BBQ sauce. I ended up tossing them. Otherwise it's a pretty nice place.

It's a nice clean bowling alley. It gets busy on the weekends, and can be expensive when you're paying by the hour (weekends) as well. Over all if you want something to do other than going to a bar it's a fun night out.

A bit dated and scorekeeping animations same since the 80s, but still charge enough money. Velcro shoes were nice instead of laces. Overall ok and clean. Attendant was friendly.

I used to go here all the time when I was younger. They've added a new amazing arcade. Updated their menu. Remodeled the entire interior and overhauled everything inside. If you're from the area or visiting, do yourself a favor and visit this location. Fun for everyone in the family at a very affordable price.

Idle Hours staff can be pretty pushy to get you out of your lane as soon as your paid time has expired. However, Idle Hours is one of the best bowling Lanes in the area. They're investing a lot of money in renovations and it's really looking great.

It's a good bowling alley, the outside doesn't look like much but on the inside it looks just like most bowling alleys. The prices are good but in order to use a credit or debit card you need to spend at least $10 which isn't good and the snack bar and lounge doesn't accept cards at all.

We went to play on father's day and have fun. We were met with rudeness, nothing open and many things not fully working as they are intended to. We went to play a game, the scores weren't right. Next we went to get a refund when we went to leave after 2 minutes of playing and did not get the full money back cause the kids bowled one ball. There was one bathroom for the whole place and I understand cause the remodel but still we waited 15 minutes to go. Last is that there was no food and drinks expect one vending machine with sodas. Safe to say we aren't going back anytime soon.

When I went there, there were no open lanes. We had time to kill so we played in the arcade for a while. Besides the machines being incredibly overpriced, most of the claw machines were rigged. Didn't have the food there. Some parts were either in disrepair or completely outdated.

We did the glow mini golf, and it's adorable. For five dollars, you can't really beat it. The kids had a blast! All under water themed, and everything is under a black light. The courses are cute and somewhat challenging, so it's nice if you're the competitive type. We live locally, so we also like to stop and go bowling. They have a bar inside for the adults, and also a restaurant with a nice selection of different bar foods. Their milkshakes are pretty good, and their French fries are some of the best. If you are visiting, or just haven't gone here yet, stop by, you won't be disappointed.

What a shame on how this place has changed! Service is absolutely horrible at both the bar and the food area. They stop serving beer when it gets dark out. Everyone needs to bring an ID to get a cup, just an FYI, not a bad thing. Prices changed mid bowl and they went up not down. Leagues are dropping like flies since there is no room to get players. Very disappointed in the building and the service.

Very clean! Friendly staff. The glow Mini Golf is only 9 holes but is amazing! My family and I went on a Saturday. The bowling was paid for by the hour. With two toddlers going for the first time, we weren't able to finish our game within the time limit. I felt very rushed and it wasn't as enjoyable as a pay per game would have been. My choice would be to bowl where it's charged per game not per hour because I prefer a relaxed, no pressure game.
