REVIEWS OF Arsenal Bowl IN Pennsylvania

Jacob Campbell

They played Steely Dan, but only when I asked them. One more star for Steely Dan nights every Sunday.

Joseph horowitz

Bluegrass and bowling and a full bar. Aces!

UserAJO1

It was very dark inside and very loud the food at the bar is good but limited in terms of selection and the prices are a bit high also bowling in the main area is cash only

S S

Outdated, expensive, and extremely rude staff. I drive to the South Hills when I want to go bowling, and I live two blocks from this place.

Adrienne Zupan

Good price for 21+ three hours of bowling on Saturday nights. Clean environment and friendly/helpful staff. Could use more variety in drinks (not many cocktail options).

hank hargrove

Great fun rock and roll bowling

SHELBY CHERMAK

Quaint bowling alley.. takes you back and gives u an old time vibe

Abby Hamilton

Great spot to hang out with friends in Pittsburgh, complete with a bar and a DJ on most nights. Great music and always a fun time. Usually 21 and over, so not kid friendly.

Kyle Powanda

Went in with 5 people on a Sunday. There were two group reservations that ended in 15 minutes.. every single lane was open and not a guest in sight. Asked for a lane "in the corner" and asked for a supervisor upon hearing no from the front door boy.. customer service?? No.. would've paid good money on lanes, food, and drinks.. you guys just lost $200+ on a slow Sunday.. all the guests already left.. guess they don't like money...

Creep Show

Great hang out spot, awesome DJ, awesome prizes on DJ nights, great prices and specials. I loved the pizza and pop special, various themed nights. Just overall great place.

Ty Cloak

Old skool bowling, beautiful oil on the lanes. Get dem balls slidin' get dem drinks drankin'

Daniel Rosenthal

Is it reservations or not? Unless it’s dead I’ve never been able to walk in and bowl. I called to see if I could make a reservation but they employee told me it was first come first serve. Showed up and there was reservations for every lane? What’s the deal?

T M

Great bowling alley, old school feel.

Larissa Holley

DO NOT ORDER THEIR PIZZA. I honestly think there should be a PSA for how bad it was, pizza I got in the middle school cafeteria growing up was better, tasted like a giant lunchable and was somehow $14. On the other hand, had a great time bowling, and all but one staff member were very nice! Just the young guy was very rude, as if he was a police officer and you were inconveniencing him by your presence, kind of odd- lighten up, you are checking ID’s at a bowling alley

Yardon Brantley

Had a great time with my teammates at SHAPE Training. Everything was nice. Staff could have been more friendly.

Jerry n Amy houk

You got to go in and have a drink at the bar! What a unique place, old theater turned into bowling alley!

Mark Fitzgerald

We're close to the bar so it was a little tight. But overall good bowling experience.

The HamBone

Had to peak my head in, while drinking across the street. WHOA, so old and gotti. Had to bowl. Place has two big rooms, and neat bar. Bowled a 183 with house ball. Good to see an old spot hanging in there.

Brandon D'Alimonte

This place is a lot of fun! It's a little smaller and a little more cramped than most bowling alleys I've been to but the atmosphere more than makes up for it. The bar is a little far depending on what lane you're at and the drinks are kind of pricey (4.50 for a bottle of Yuengling) but I don't know a lot of bowling alleys with a fully stocked bar so that's a plus! 10/10 would come back!

Paul Marchant

This place has great deals and a cool atmosphere. My favorite place to bowl! Make sure to get there early because it always fills up for all you can bowl night. And don't forget, it's cash only.

Dan Jeffrey

Aesthetically, it's my favorite bowling place. My problems with it are that paying for bowling and shoes is cash only, but they take card for everything else. Pins would also pretty consistently not set properly. The system itself is pretty vintage/outdated. If it wasn't so cheap, i'd probably have more issue with it.

Sarah Smethurst

Really wanted to go here but the guy when we walked in said no lanes were available (even though it was only half full) and we were told the bar was patrons only and if we weren't bowling we weren't patrons? We offered to prepay for bowling but we were told we had no choice but to leave until they had an open lane...

Joe Spike

Great food, nice lanes, I really enjoyed the love music. Surprisingly well stocked bar. I look forward to my next visit.

Kristin

Went on a Saturday night. Flat 10.95 rate for bowling, 4 bucks for shoes. Drinks can be a little pricey, but the DJ was excellent! Gives away free shirts every so often as well.

Damon S

Classic Lawrenceville fixture. Dj's play deep tracks for tips. Beer prices are reasonable. Theme nights are a laid back party. Be sure to get there early to reserve your lane, because the place fills up fast. Shoes are $4. Bar style tables are behind the lane benches. Pool table at the back lounge bar area-very cool chill spot.

Atul Goel

Recommended for bowling. This was a little hard to find.

Kameron Zimmerman

This place was built in 1938 and it was really cool to step back in time!!

T L

Great bowling alley if you don’t mind circling for parking for hours and then waiting for hours for an open lane since they don’t feel a need to ever actually use the 22 lanes they claim to have. Waste of time as usual. Plenty of other places in town that will gladly take my money

Cody Greygor

Atmosphere is awesome. They take great care of there lanes and always got some good promos going on at night.

Peter Beals

I’m on tour with a band as one of their crew and I wasn’t allowed in without paying a cover and then was kicked out for being under 21, even after the band talked with management and they said nothing about my age being a problem. Very upsetting.

Sara Steinbaecher

I honestly don't particularly enjoy bowling, but when I do go, this is the place! It has a great vintage feel to it and is decently priced. The bar is great too!

nope nope

Wonderful establishment I could not help but want to plan an event right away

Candice McLane

Always a great time!!

Krishnan Raghunathan

Nice place but almost always crowded especially during weekend. Book early.

Gokulnadh Naduvilakandy

Good place to hangout and spend some night time. Not the best but only one that opens after midnight (till 2 am). They Only accept Cash.

Denise Ellis

What a great place! First time here, had a ball!

Stacie Bloom

The atmosphere was neat, the lanes were nice, and the bar area was nice but that's where the positives end. I was overcharged for bowling (they had a Saturday special that was $12 per person from 9-12 not including shoes and they charged me $17 per person from 9-12 not including shoes). I booked in advance, so I didn't realize I got ripped off until I saw their menu later on...they don't reserve lanes without a deposit so I didn't even have a choice. Also, they wouldn't allow my two friends to hang out without paying the $17. The manager said "I don't have time to babysit. Everyone has to pay or they can't stay". I explained that they would buy drinks and they wouldn't try to bowl (all of us were over 21 and had ID), but that made no difference to him. I was there for my friends 30th birthday party and some of our group had to leave because of this. Never in my life have I been to a bowling alley with such strict rules and rude management. I would never bowl here again.

Ronald Makay

Arsenal bowl is a happening place. Leagues early evening on the weekends. Younger crowd in the late evening. Cool place.

Maralynn Jacoby

What a fun place. We came with our kids in the afternoon and had a blast.

Lonnie Rotondo

Great place.

Welcome Hub

Not sure who I just spoke to but a very rude young man who answered the phone. I called to inquire details for taking a party and asked about pricing group. He responded ''they are all on our website''. Does not seem interested in helping

ray russ

Ok place . Of your bowling in the front bar is a lil bit of a walk to. Need to have a bar in front and food bought to tables.

Sunny

Good

Charlene Harvey

This place is fantastic. Wish the bar wasn't so far

William Jacoby

Tough to find a better way to spend a couple hours than at Arsenal Lanes.

Joey Z

Kind of old and out of style, but they have some good offers on certain days

Zahava Bennett

A really neat old bowling alley with live band every Wednesday for rock-n-bowl

Brit Brand

the bowling is fun and the atmosphere is lovely, but the service is seriously lacking. my friend called and was told "first come, first serve" but when I called later in the same day, we were told they were booked solid. I've walked in before and gotten a lane right away. Now, every single time I call, they tell me they're booked all day/night in the rudest, most abrupt way possible.

Zachary Boyd

I like bowling here a lot! The problem is the staff is always rude. Also, there are never clear instructions on when you need to arrive to bowl. I have walked there several times to bowl just to learn they are "sold out". You look around and there are still lanes open and I am at least 20 minutes early, but yet, I can't bowl. Staff needs to be more respectful of customers and they need more clear instructions on when you should arrive to bowl.

Trent Goerk

Arsenal bowl is more like arsenal blows! Clueless staff that will tell you it’s open bowling come on in only to tell you all the lanes are reserved when you arrive. No one working there seems to know what the schedule is. Arrogant rude staff including a older guy who looks like he should be working in a biker shot and a beer bar mopping the floor. Dressed like it too! Zero customer service! Nice ambience but it is ruined by all the reasons mentioned above. Every time I’ve been there is a bad experience in someway! I gave it a few chances but it never failed to disappoint. Save yourself the annoyance and choose another alley!

Jay Lingenfelter

There were more lanes than I expected, the place was roomy and clean, and the bar service was great. A little warm, but the great craft beer selection probably contributed to that.

Lori Beth Jones

A DJ at Arsenal was fired after backlash when he shared a photo of a sign instructing "ATTN: DJ's Do NOT play RAP/HIP-HOP (this includes requests) - Mgmt" [sic] This is a textbook example of coded language and institutional racism. I cannot in any conscience recommend going there for any reason.

michelle maynard

Great atmosphere & staff.

Stephen Short

Arsenal Bowl is a neighborhood bowling alley that's also doubles as a nightclub. The service is great. There's a total of 22 lanes. 14 lanes in the front. And, 8 lanes in the back of the alley. There's also a restaurant in the back of the place called The Upstairs Saloon.

Jennie Sapsara

Great place to bowl. Very clean and nice.

Karen J

Good food, great prices on everything there.. Hot

E C

Best place to bowl and drink.

Kenneth DeHaan

Amazing old school bowling alley. Must go, see! Best one I’ve ever been to.

Bobberino

Service was hella good People were hot Drinks were so cheap and I don’t even drink My friends are dope Don’t deny us our due, dudes

Richard Karl

I highly recommend. Great atmosphere and people very clean. Great fun recommend on fridays and Saturdays!!!!!!

David C.

Love the nostalgia here! It can get busy, so look into making reservations ahead of time. Staff are helpful. Full bar on site with food and booze.

Antone Novelly

Walked in and before we could even say anything they said "have a reservation? No? Well they we are sold out." Following that he turned away and just ignored us. This is during their open session, have a whole 5 lanes being used out of 20. What a great way to treat people. They have people there that will pay them at that moment. They have no politeness. Just go somewhere else.they don't deserve your money.

Molly JC

I'm in love. Way better than expected. Had a bar, a claw machine, a tonof lanes, good prices, good music.

Tom Jackson

A great bowling alley with a really cool atmosphere. The bar is well-stocked and their weeknight bowling deals are fantastic! Check out college night on Tuesdays for cheap bowling and beer, or all-you-can-bowl on Wednesdays (including live music).

Kayleigh Fuizzotti

Fun place to bowl and have a few drinks.

Jay Celedonia

Nice bar but pricey for a bowling alley.

Carl Thompson

Legendary place but it's a shame that sometimes you cant just go in and have a drink without a cover charge kind of excludes local lawrenceville people that have lived in the area there whole lifes and kept you open when it wasn't what it is today..

Alan Ricketts

Great fun

Jennifer S

Wish I could review the bowling. We are out-of-towners that went on a recommendation from a friend. Went on a Tuesday at 5pm to discover that all 22 lanes were unavailable due to bowling league (all lanes empty at this point). They should indicate on their social media, at least, that these schedules may affect off the street people being able to bowl. We were not staying in the area and it was a 25 minute drive, all for nothing. Disappointed.

Regina Arnold

I enjoyed the atmosphere I would recommend people to go had a ball

Josh Albrecht

Nice place. Cash only.

Ronna Gralitzer

Great place

Samantha Sheinwald

Fun place to hang with friends and listen to music

Sarah Boarts

Chill staff and decently priced. League time is the only thing stopping you

guberan dhayalan

Got classic look to it. Limited choice of beers. Appetizers were ok.

Suzanne Motley

Fun fun fun

Amanda Gomez

So grateful for honest reviews. Was gonna take my bf and I here, but after seeing 30+ reviews on poor customer service and racially charged policies, we dodged a bullet.

Robert Walker

Very neat bowling alley. Has an old school vibe to it. Red velvet everywhere. Only drawback is parking.

Deb Tatro

Cool Place, reminds me of vintage Pittsburgh of days gone past. Looks like you're bowling at Heinz Hall, lol!

Gary Pashinski

Popular spot. Retro/vintage decor. Different specials throughout the week. Be sure to get there early if you want guaranteed a lane. Wait can be +1hr on weekends

Sharon Terry

Had a great time bowling at Arsenal Lanes. Nice and clean bathrooms...very small but clean. The largest issue are the steps. If you have problems with walking there are a large number of steps to climb to get into the bowling alley. Once you get up the steps its great...Had an awesome time!

Omar Cheikh-Ali

Rude staff. The lanes were already booked so they told us to come back in about an hour - no big deal right? We go hang out at a bar and come back, then they don’t let us in because apparently you need to be 21 to even BE in the establishment even if you’re not drinking.

Christopher Beam

Cheap bowling, good drinks, and friendly staff

Matthew Krosin

Showed up to bowl. About 30% of lanes being used, rest empty. Told by unkempt hipster at desk they are "booked until midnight". It's 5 pm. I guess that's what I get for looking for recreation in the "new and upcoming" part of town.

Christopher Schmidt

I like this alley. A lot. Unlike many other bowling alley, it's clean. It's well-lit. It doesn't smell. The clientele are pleasant. There is a groovy little bar, with very comfy couches. It's the secret quiet place to get a drink in Lawrenceville! Why not five stars? I suspect they are watering down the liquor. Stick to beer.

Drew Snyder

Great place for a beer. Can also bowl there which is a plus.

Khay Bee

This place has been here for years. Me and my friends weren't able to get into a club so we went here instead. Totally worth it. Wasnt packed at all. They have a bar and food. All you can bowl prices after a certain time. Awesome definitely would reccomend.

David Bremner

It was a pretty decent place to bowl at. The music was really good. It feels old and bit run down but everything was very comfy and the staff were super nice.

Ken Foster

League play, good lanes, friendly staff.

Keith Huthmacher

Friday evening 6 to 8 unlimited bowling is a great deal. Get there early as the lanes fill up quickly.

Samantha Guardalabene

Amazing place! Went here on our wedding day! It was perfect.

Csenge Tokar

Small, but fun. Cash only though.

Ann Cusick

I love retro so this was the perfect place for me. Very cool very vintage. Nice bar. Not so vintage you have to keep score on paper they do have a computer for that. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon.

Lisa Kocent

A unique and beautiful place. Had a great time.

Lakshmi Narayan Ramasubramanian

Great place. Often too crowded. Have no reservations

John

Be careful of this place. All they care about is your money not YOU the customer. They will take your money, then shut off the lane 10 minutes before your time is up. GO SOME WHERE ELSE. I will never go back.

Nabu Kharidotes

Pluses - they have one of the best DJs in the city of PGH Djing regularly there- ZOMBO!!! Very family friendly and there is an antique aesthetic to the place which is great fun. Minuses- no credit card machine, and the service frankly is less than ideal, to put it kindly. Take your kids on Sunday for great prices, free hot dogs and awesome music. Just dont expect a high standard of service from the employees....

Chris Mastramico

Good times. Not a ton of room to maneuver, but that's the only (minor) complaint.

Paula Jesion

This is an old timey bowling lane, with good lanes, good bar, and great staff.

Mansa Musa

Great place to hold your next klan meeting or ALT-right party

Peter Marino

Went during the 9-12 special but was too late so we had to wait. Not the biggest problem, but we figured we’d get some drinks at the bar in the back. Turns out, you need wrist bands in order to get drinks which you only receive once you get a lane. I fail to understand why you can only drink at the bar when you have a lane. In my opinion, it hurts the business, because our plan was to spend time and money drinking here and waiting for lanes to open. Instead, we took our business elsewhere. Hopefully they change this policy.

Kody Zappa

Best bowling alley ever! Has an awesome speakeasy feel to it. The bartenders make solid drinks and the prices are on point. I am shocked about the negative reviews pertaining to the staff I always find them to be friendly and down to earth. The lanes are old school and I never have any issues, in fact they have some of the fastest ball returns I have ever seen.

Danielle McGrath

This place is awesome. Prices are pretty reasonable and the atmosphere is really cool.

Sarah Campbell

Great atmosphere! I went there for the first time tonight and am so mad I didn't come here earlier! It has a cool vintage vibe with a laid back atmosphere. The computers aren't the most up to date but still workable and definitely easier than hand scoring. Can't wait to go back.

Stephanie Lovett

Hip bowling alley with a really cool historic vibe.

Nurislom Tajimetov

5 star! 5 strike!

Michael Huang

Terrible customer service. One of my friends said they went and couldn't get a lane since they were reserved for a private event. So I called in before organizing an event, but the person answering the phone apparently couldn't hear me asking my question, so they hung up. But here's the kicker. On subsequent calls, they picked up the phone and immediately hung up, then apparently shoved some poor kid in front of the phone, who could clearly hear me now for some reason, but didn't know anything about reservations, saying "I'm just here waiting for my grandpa to pick me up", and wouldn't hand me to the previous person. Obviously some kinda ploy lazy employees set up to avoid dealing with a customer. Extremely unprofessional- clearly this place mainly gets traffic because of it's location.

Sam Boyarsky

What a delightful bowling alley. Walk in and feel like you’re in a different era. I went for 80’s/90’s night. There was a DJ playing all the expected songs and taking requests. $9 (+$4 for shoes) per person for a lane all night. Solid bar for drinks, with a decent liquor selection and about 10 taps. The food is exactly bar-food... acceptable, but nothing special. The ball return is above the lanes which is super fun to watch (and new to me). The only real downside was a lack diverse weighted balls with holes extra-large holes (really only 15 and 16lb balls). Overall a really fun bowling alley, will definitely go back. The bar takes credit cards, but the bowling and shoe rental is cash only.

steve n

Very cool alley. I was in town for a bit and just stumbled in off the street to check it out. House Balls aren't very uniform but i found a unique one i could spin into the pocket so it worked out. The set up of the ball return means if you're on the right lane of a pair your foot may hit it every throw.

Paul Yuneps

Pretty fast returns, (13.69 sec.) from ball strike to ball in hand. It's neat to see ball rolling fast back to you above surface. Always a varied music theme/party that changes daily, not just canned hip hop. Old wood railings and such were well preserved.

John O'Neill

Great old school bowling alley with a nice bar. We had a lot of fun bowling here and would return if in Pittsburgh.

Donnie Gray

The bowling is good, the live music was enjoyable, the bar in the back had a great lounge feel to it. Didn't try the food yet. I might not come if you have trouble walking however, I saw no elevators or ramps.

Kameron Whiting

Dont go to this place. Made us leave cause we were black. My son wanted to bowl

Calvin Hines

Great place

Justin Marks

What a fun time. I'm a fan of bowling, beer and bar food, and they hit all three nails on the head. The decor is vintage, with the old ball returns and score machines. Will definitely be back for more.

Leanne Budzynski

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. There's specials, but pricing per game is higher than most places. The lanes weren't oiled well, but it's a great place to hangout with friends.

Kathleen Monin

Cash only, but the price is good, the people are nice and it's lots of fun! UPDATE: I came back to edit my review because I brought a big group of friends here for the "midnight madness" on Saturday. We're supposed to bowl as much as we want until 2am, but they turmed off the music and closed the bar at 1am. They told my friends that if they went out to smoke they wouldn't be let back in. If your staff wants to go home at 1am, the alley should close at 1am.

Shataya Edwards

I enjoyed everything except the music

Tyrone Tillman Jr

the lanes are awesome!

Rosie Koster

Love the space, the music and food and beer and all that jazz. I understand it being cash only, I just wish the staff were more friendly about it. Good customer service goes a long way.

Robert Beck

Fun place to bowl Great atmosphere.

JB Moses

Cool place, nice atmosphere, but some of the things they do are weird. You can buy drinks with a debit/credit card, but you can’t get the 4$ shoes, so you are forced to use an ATM with fees for 4$ shoes. The bar tender wouldn’t serve drinks back to back, mind you it was only our second drink, he said too many too soon, this isn’t that kind of bar he said. No one in our group was intoxicated either, we all watched our limit and all worked the next morning. They have pitchers for beer to take to your lane, however, that’s only for leagues. So you get to stand in line with one bar tender while your bowling game is continuing with out you or people are bowling for you or the game comes to a haunt for 15 minutes while you wait in line. When I voiced my concerns about the bar not allowing us to order a second a drink and asking to speak to the manager, the person I talked to said “I already know what he is going to say”. At that point I said I don’t want to talk to him anymore. The place has potential but needs to be refined.

Jane Doe

awful experience. didn't feel welcome.

Echo tango Juliet

Poor management and hostel environment towards people of color. Poor staffing attitudes and customer service. I will never spend a dime there!!!!!!

Cyndy Witzke

Nice bowling alley, but no food or drinks sold before 4:30, at least during the week for walk-ins. We saw others with fountain drinks, but we were told no. Guy at the desk is a bit surly, but the owner is nice. Alley 13 hard to slide on.

Travis Smith

Went there for birthday party and had a blast. Old style atmosphere but the beer is pricey. Friendly workers and the place is big enough where you won't feel cramped. Would reccomened for bowling but not for drinking.

Aaron McPeek

Great place to bowl, but be prepared for some surprises. They don't mention that the place might be sold out upon arrival or place any notice at the door when they are, but it is otherwise a fantastic place to bowl and have fun! Pricey beer bit cheap bowling!

kyle Vinson

Great atmosphere. Great lanes, always well oiled.

Foster Crawford

This is the best bowling alley around. It's a throwback with some new touches. The bar is nice and they often have a live band or dj. Great place to go.

Chuck Reese

No elevator for the handicap.

Lane Meyer

rap/hip-hop bans still exist in 2018? while mgmt is entitled to their racist sentiment and music preferences, they still have a business to run at the end of the day. unless you're well-to-do and don't need the community's patronage, you may want to put your customers' preferences above your own. prohibiting certain music and/or attire based on the demographic that is assumed to predominately consume them is essentially telling the public that you would prefer that black folks don't patronize your establishment. however you won't be direct and say as much for fear of public lambasting in response. if you do your homework, 70% of rap/hip-hop is consumed by white america, which affirms that you still don't know your audience. you're not the first establishment in the pittsburgh area to do so, nor will you be the last. you could've proposed a ban on uncensored music to ensure a more family friendly environment, but you didn't. you singled something specific out in which you find distasteful because you thought it was a non-invasive way of singling out people who you find distasteful. you failed. i thought it was coincidence during my times there, but now knowing that's it policy is just cause for me to never give you another dollar again.

olga watkins

Meh. Bowling with friends always fun. But this place... interior is pretty cool but it's a little pricey and the food is garbage

Benjamin Sauk

Arsenal is a great bowling alley. I had showed up a little after one of their specials started and we were told we could not get a lane. I had observed a few people who had taken 2 lanes for themselves so that was fairly frustrating. Great environment for bowling, the music is great, the drinks are reasonably priced and when you can bowl the lanes are great.

Afro Centchic

It is highly upsetting to learn that Aresenal Lanes terminated an employee after he posted a picture of the business's policy to deny requests of hip hop music and to never play it in general on social media. Pittsburgh has a racism problem and microaggressions like refusing to play hip hop are a part of that.

Laurie Johnson

Company team event was wonderful here with great hospitality!

John Mozdzien

Awesome time !! We took our 3 kids, along with another family and their 3 and had such a blast !!! Totally recommend if you never been.

Tamara Murdock

Awesome environment

Michael Thomas

Great atmosphere and food. Cash only.

Jeremy Prichard

Cool as hell retro theme. Nice staff. Properly maintained lanes. Reasonable drink prices.

Erin Hyland

Arsenal Bowl is a cute nostalgic bowling alley in Lawrenceville, so my family though we'd spend the evening there bowling. They are cash only and the ATM charges a $2.95 fee to withdraw money. No, it's not uncommon to see a fee assessed, but CASH ONLY tells you quite a bit about the establishment not to mention they are also collecting a fee from their patrons. I will not be back as other bowling lanes have much more to offer.

Lora Gilpin

Our family has been bowling there for over 40 years..we love the sunday after bowling.

Kaitlin Gale

I think they were cash only, but it was pretty cheap for two people to bowl a couple rounds. Loved the old school vibe, and being able to watch the ball behind the pins/rolling back up haha.

AG awesomeness

Offers kids bowl free for the summer months! Great place to take them on a rainy day.

Teya Moore

This is the 3rd time I’ve tried to come here and was told some BS excuse on why we can’t bowl. I was told to come back for all night bowling and within 5 minutes I was told they were all sold out. I won’t be returning.

Carmella Miller

My first time here, its a great old-fashion style bowling alley! It's great!

David Lash

It's a nice place to practice, an or have fun with friends and family

Aimee Manion

I love this place. The atmosphere is so retro and awesome, and there's a bar in the back with a dimly lit lounge. You can feel the history in its walls. There are lots of lanes and balls to choose from, and usually a diverse crowd of people. My only suggestions would be to make sure you plan ahead and know about the bowling times at Arsenal - you can't always just walk in and bowl.

ramon mozley

Awesome place to host an Xmas party.

Mike Whittemore

Best bowling in the burgh!

Manu

Beware of the ATM inside. This is a cash only place and if you are gonna try this place , keep some cash in advance. I tried pulling out money from the ATM machine inside and the transaction got declined three times before it got approved on the forth try , but apparently they charged me around 3.50$ for each of those failed transactions. Apart from that, the place is reasonable , very old though.

Emma Hecker

The workers are extremely rude. My 50-year-old mother had her credit card held by the bartender until she bought more than $10 worth of drinks, and then she was called "obnoxious and difficult" as we were leaving the bar. Furthermore, their cash-only policy is inconvenient. We were also treated poorly by the employees staffing the lane-rental counters. Spend your money elsewhere.

Edward Garbade

At the end of the day, you can't hide from the AMF lanes logos everywhere. This is a trendy, overpriced AMF that trades in pretension. And while you keep seeing reviews about the amazing "classic" alley, expect the hostile door guards to shuffle you into the lower-quality back lanes if they don't think you're the right kind of clientele for their overpriced bougie insta-focused front area. I will go back only because it's better than driving into the South Hills.

Finley Littlejohn

Its the hottest spot in Lawrenceville.Bring the family out its a cool place to have fun. Also you might want to CALL and check to see if they have any open lanes since they do have leagues bowling on certain days, this way you don't show up and get turned away because they don't have any lanes open.

Josh Kurnot

Coolest on the weekends when you need a reservation to get a lane. It feels like a 30s speak easy.

Mara Leavy

Awesome place but could be better if took debit instead of just cash

Chris Lapinski

LOVE IY!!!!

Brandon Cox

5 of us went in to bowl a couple games and they told us we wouldn't be able to have a lane EVEN THOUGH EVERY SINGLE LANE WAS OPEN. Well there goes revenue on beer, food, and bowling for them....wouldn't reccomend bowling here. Its outdated with terrible service AF

Daniel Mcguire

Good times Great place to hold your company partys or just bowl. Parking sucks near the bowling alley. That would be my only complaint.
