We went to bowl, and we brought in a small bag of food with gluten free options for my friend with a gluten allergy and we were immediately approached by the owner who yelled at us and told us that we had to leave cause we cant bring in outside food and we tried to explain the situation but he refused to listen and he kicked us out

Very disappointed when a family member came home from here and told me that there is a lady here that refused to let her use a 6 lb ball because its only for children. This family member has a back condition that only allows them to use a 6 lb ball, they tried to explain to the lady and the lady refused to allow them to use the ball, she had to use a 9 lb ball. Just because someone is younger does not mean they are lying, also, a person with a back problem and needs a lighter ball should be able to use any ball they want too. I am appauled at the treatment of my family member and will Not bowl at this place.

The staff was rude and belligerent towards us when we went to their bowling alley. They showed little concern for us when making small requests. The facility is dirty and not kid friendly. We will not be visiting here again. Terrible waste of money.

Still under construction so it will probably get updated to 5 stars on our next visit. Which goes to say a lot. The kids had a blast. And we saved $$ with a groupon deal. The staff was greatly helpful and friendly. We even enjoyed some fries and mozz sticks from there cafe.

Their 'glow bowling' nights don't actually have any black lights btw just other colorful lights that move around.. Their pizza isn't the best but eveything else Ive had was okay.. Its a fun place :) Ive gone there for two years straight in an after school bowling program and have two bowling balls from it.

Yes, this alley has been around for a long time and it has some rough edges. But, compared to other Lanes in the area this place is very spacious. Everything works and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice place, typically go on Friday night's for the glow bowl, a lot cheaper that way. One thing that would be nice if they served beer. But otherwise it's a great place to go. You are not allowed to bring any drinks in of any kind

I've been coming here since I started bowling leagues 20 years ago and this place will always be my home center. Through new lanes and various upgrades and updates, the Montgomery family has always treated this establishment like their home and those that use it like family. Lanes are well-maintained, good food selection, friendly staff, and prices are on par with every other center in the county. Eric at the pro shop is always happy to help your bowling needs, whether you're just starting out or averaging 200+. And for the more serious bowler like myself, they just installed the Specto Bowling system on several lanes, which analyzes in-depth every shot you throw, so you know for sure what you need to work on to improve your game. The only drawback I can think of is that they don't serve beer/alcohol, but they are in a dry township so there's nothing they can really do about that. If you want to drink while bowling, go to Rocky Springs or Clearview. But for an overall fun bowling experience, whether you've never bowled in your life or are an experienced orb-chucker, this is the place to go in Lancaster County

Nice staff, great specials, well maintained lanes. It has its flaws, like not being able to write/choose your own name, you usually have to tell the person at the desk your name, and they do it for you, and they usually go all lowercase, which is sorta annoying. They must be typing for you because some of the bowling computer keyboards have broken keys, or they don’t want people to type in what they’d like, which anyway you look at it, sorta sucks. My only other complaint is that during Rock N’ Bowl, they play a lot of Country and Pop, which shouldn’t be happening. I am guessing it’s because of all of the Amish that frequent the establishment, but seriously, if you are gonna call it Rock N’ Bowl, play Rock music, I’d rather pay more during the day than pay less during the night and have the most humorously annoying “farthest-from-Rock-music” music blared in my ears. Other than that, it’s a nice place.

This was our first visit to Dutch Lanes and it was perfect! The staff is super friendly and helpful and the lanes were fantastic. We will definitely return to Dutch Lanes for our family bowling outings in the future.

Nice house as aways. The guy behind the counter was having a bad day. I went and added myself to a lane he charged me for shoes and never gave me shoes because I have my own gear. I pointed this out when I paid for a 2nd game and nobody would do anything about it. Not my best time there.

We had a lot of fun. This place has changed a lot since I was here a few years ago. The style is more up to date. The seats are comfortable rather than the old hard plastic. The bowling is fun and the ability to pick your theme helps to make the experience a bit different each time. We didn't check out the arcade games, but they still have them. The grill was open as well in case you needed to get a snack or drink while you bowl.

It smells like sewage in one half of the alley. The mens bathroom smells like it hasnt been cleaned in years. U have to pay a 5 dollar deposit to get a cue ball for pool and you need to pay 1.00 per pool stick! You have to pay to play pool and pay for the sticks, so for 1 game of pool for 2 people it will cost you a 5 dollar deposit and 3 dollars to actually play the damn thing. Ridiculous.

For a bowling alley I give this 4 stars. I took away 1 star because they don't have items to help younger kids bowl. Most places have alligator ramps to allow young kids to join in. They have decent prices for the lanes, food is reasonable, and it was a clean place. I would go back if I was in the area.

Clean. Electronic scoring makes it easy with kids. The only reason it doesn't get four stars is the bumpers stay up the whole time, so grownups sharing a lane with kids can't be done. They can accommodate a family by setting you up in adjoining lanes. Great food at the snack bar, and reasonably priced.

What an awesome place to go bowling they were so kind and helpful and gave us a rubber plastic ramp so that my two-year-old son could roll the ball down and still play they were more than happy to pull the bumpers out as well. They gave us a lane separated from other people so that way we don't have to worry about him getting too carried away. All in all great experience clean and safe fun for the whole family reasonable prices as well.
