This place is a little run down and they guy at the counter didnt seem to really want to be there, but we had a fun time and the bowling was fun and the prices were good.

The "regular" crowd/league bowlers here are very gross... Regularly filling the entry way with cigarette smoke so thick you literally can barely see through. Hold your breath as you enter the front doors, and don't make eye contact with any of the local yocals. Owling lanes are well kept, but this place is in need of some major TLC

Again if the doors are lite and Walnut City Lanes doors were, then since I walk using a walker then Walnut City Lanes gets kudos for being handicap friendly! They also had 3 handicap parking spots right by the front of their doors. I walked into the building and was greeted by the sound of bowling pins being knocked down and people laughing and having fun. They have a small Arcade were kids can play if they don't want to bowl. The kitchen opens at 4:00 during the summer. And the shoes cost $3.00 and its $4.00 per person per game of bowling. If you're looking for something the whole family can do and it doesn't cost that much then Walnut City Lanes is a good place to take your family and friends!

It is family friendly place and fun for the whole family you can bowl and get good food also there is a game room with some arcade games and a bar. You will enjoy your time if it's family or a date and also alone.

Old and outdated. Seems to be a hang out for the homeless and druggies...they were in the bar, restroom and walking around in the very poorly lit parking areas...I was told they are allowed to squat in the back of the bowling alley..watch your children here...I cant imagine what the residents in this neighborhood must go thru.

Obviously nothing fancy but it's a fun place to take the family. They have a lot of nights where they're booked up with leagues so you'll have to wait. We had to wait until 9pm for my nieces birthday party because it was league night. The hosts were very nice though and let our big family hang out in the restaurant until a lane opened up. Just call ahead and you should be fine. Otherwise expect to bowl around 9pm.

A lot of the time league is playing. So kinda frustrating bc you get like 1 hour. That's if you can only play weekdays which is me. Other than that no real complaints. Fun place for local bowling alley

Its a nice small town bowling alley. When I have gone in its not busy and loud which is a nice change from busy bowling alleys like the ones in hillsboro or beaverton.

Sadly it's the only other entertainment here in town besides the movie theater. It does have a nice setup with a restaurant though. The name Walnut City is the town's nickname.

It was a super fun experience for being my first time going. It was cosmic bowling and so they turn on all the black lights and disco balls but you pay a base fee. $15 a person and a 3 person minimum but you get shoe rentals and unlimited bowling for 2 hours. I went with one friend so we ended up using the third bowler as a practice round but it worked out because both of us are not experienced. We did end up getting 6 full games in the 2 hours and that was at a moderate pace.

Only really good thing about this place is it’s on the cheaper side, customer service is terrible, at least from the older lady working the front counter. We were the only ones in the alley, my daughter went to ask a question and she completely ignored her, and was outlandishly rude to her and the rest of my family. I’ll drive to another city to go bowling from here on out.

Walnut City Lanes is a favorite to take my kids and wife! You probably don't go there often enough! I usually lose with the kids have fun! Food is good and prices are affordable! Bowling is cheap and bathrooms are clean!
