I recently had my son’s birthday at Milwaukie Bowl. The staff were laid back yet very attentive and helpful. The prices were super reasonable. Everyone had a fantastic time and several parents in attendance commented on being impressed with the set-up and accommodations. I would not only recommend having a child’s birthday party here, but I will continue to visit as a customer with my family. Workers were nice. The snacks there are pretty tasty, standard bar snacks for the most part. The lanes were a little weird and glitched a bit - that seemed to be a problem throughout the night. But it didn't stop us from playing overall.

Friendly, economical place. They had bumpers and a ball ramp for our young boys (3 and 6 years old). A game room with a few favorites: air hocky, pinball, Ms. Pacman, etc. Beware, leage bowling sometimes shuts out open bowl, even when the websit says it is open bowl. Call ahead to check.

Cool spot I stopped in to play lottery machines. The people there seemed like one big family and made me with I did league bowling or at least bowled once a week. Parking in the back.

Milwaukie Bowl is a bowlers bowling alley. Old school to the max which is extremely rare in Portland in 2017 as all the alleys now are renovated, filled with large screen tvs, technology, and synthetic wood bowling surfaces. I've had the pleasure of regularly bowling here this past year in a league and I'm impressed with the service week in and week out here. The staff are attentive and friendly and no matter who is working they are practically on a first name basis with everyone in my league which is roughly 60 people. Pretty amazing. I absolutely love the ambiance here...the moment you step in the deep thud you hear from the balls dropping onto the real wood surface getting quieter as the ball travels down the lane only to make a violent collision with the pins here is so satisfying. I just love the acoustics here more than other alleys where the sounds often hide behind the loud music, TVs, or crowd noise.

A great neighborhood place to bowl. See their bulletin board. All the schools are supported and some pet rescue organizations. Real wood lanes. Nice friendly staff. Great pizza. Really good jo Jos. The kitchen food comes out pretty fast. Enjoyed the experience. Will definitely be back

Decent bowling alley with adequate lanes and function equipment. Lanes are in good condition and ball selection is good. Stop in for a few games some evening and help keep this establishment open. Bumpers are available as well as a ball ramp for you small children. Food and drinks available on site.

Fun, cheap entertainment at Mikwaukie Bowl. $3 per game $3 for shoe rental (at least during the day, maybe more at night/special times). You can get coupons for one free game at a bunch of other local businesses. Balls are all organized by weight and have a variety of finger sizes. Food is standard frozen to fried gut bombs, but they come out hot and tasty. Our sampler platter of fries, tots, mozzarella sticks, and mini corn dogs totally thrilled the 4 year old. Then he went and pretended to drive the car video games. It felt like watching my childhood. Decor and everything is old and dated, but it's clean and in good condition given it's age. Often there's only minimal staff running the entire place, but they work hard to keep everyone happy and respond quickly to requests.

we went here as a group of four. We were refused service and asked to leave after one game, for hitting the rake (one of us hit the rake a couple of times). Unbelievable. The person working the counter provided terrible customer service, and insulted us when we questioned why we couldn’t bowl any longer. I’ve been bowling for 49+ years and have never been treated this way. I will never come back to this bowling alley and I will spread the word across social media and to friends and family. Seriously, step your game up. I’ve been coming to this bowling alley since I was a kid...

Tried to plan a birthday party for my sons 13th birthday. When we got there they weren't even ready for us and made us wait a while. They then didn't give us the two tables we were promised and they didn't honor the prices on the website. They told the kids to "keep quiet" the whole time because they apparently booked some league bowlers that day. They also told us no pictures for some reason. The guy that Was in charge rude and a hassle to talk to, not worth the money. I just wanted to throw a birthday party! Don't go here if you want to be treated like crap.

This place is right out of 1960-70's bowling alley. The service we received for our event was outstanding. Everyone there is friendly and courteous. The lady preparing our food was delightful and the young man behind the counter was very friendly to all of us. We reserved 5 lanes for about 25 people, but our turnout was 60+. The facility took care of us all. When bowling alleys are a dying source of entertainment, this is a GREAT place to go. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

I will admit I am a bit biased when it comes to this company. When my family needed help fund raising for my son service dog. they donated 10 free bowling Tickets for our raffle. I thought that was very generous and sweet of them. I also really enjoy playing there because I have 3 small children. When the children are playing they put up garters on those sides of the lane. So it's very rare that the children ever get a gutter ball. You have to really try for For a gutter ball in order to get one or be extremely unlucky. They have a device that the children can use to straighten out their bowling ball To improve their chances of getting a strike. The device is easy to use they are easy to port around. They have multiples of this device. So if you have four parties that need to use one no problem. They sell food and drink there is well. Their bathrooms are kept in good condition. However I did not see any changing tables when I was there. So if you have a little one in diapers that's a little inconvenient. But all around it's a really fun place.
