Absolutely disappointed! We came in today to have my son's 12th birthday party. We brought a group of 25 people, 15 of them being kids. I had previously called Thursday to ask about reservations for birthday parties and was told that they cannot do Sunday reservations unless they are booked a week in advance, because of the family bowling discount they offer that day. I said I understood, but asked if it was still possible to have a birthday party there. I was told yes, but that there was no guarantee of lane availablity or wait time. I said no problem. We showed up today and when I went inside to check availability of lanes, I was informed by staff that I would not be allowed to bring my son's birthday cake or cupcakes inside because I did not book and pay for a birthday party 7 days in advance. When I spoke to the staff member Thursday, I wasn't informed of this, and relayed that info to the girl at the register. She basically told me there was nothing she could do. We spent $160 on bowling, food and games. Drove 30 minutes from Chandler. Had I been informed Thursday when I called that we couldn't have outside food without making a 7 day prior reservation, we would have gone elsewhere. Had it not been 3pm and had we not already drove 30 minutes, we would not have stayed and you wouldn't have got a dime from me. Huge thank you to Frontier Bowl for putting a damper on my son's birthday with your inability to communicate your policy to PAYING customers. We will never come back.
