I went with my family and had a great time. Played some billiards for the first time and I'm not to bad at it. But if you stay there to long their games become a nuisance. Star Lanes has a new game that has super high sub woofers that become very annoying after a while. But other than that I had a good time.

Fun time. Might want to get the wait staff whipped into shape. Watched 5 of them stand around while I went to the bar twice to get my own drinks. A waitress finally came over 45 minutes into our stay.

Poor lane construction. The sitting area was dirty and not one person came by to clean it up before we boweled. You could tell there was no pride , the owner doesn’t work here, they are investors who pay in helpful and untrained guests. Just because it is in Polaris does.not mean it is quality. It provides a poor example to the public of what a real alley is like and Costs way too much. Take the time to visit your local bowling alley, the help is personal, caring and less expensive and the lanes are cared for properly.

Star Lanes is very fun. Great atmosphere, clean and modern. A little on the expensive side for a family outing. There is food available (served at your lane), an arcade, bar service, full restaurant and a video game ride experience to play. The arcade and video game ride are additional costs. Pretty neat place!

The managers were very unprofessional and rude. The guy working in the arcade was a shorter guy with a bald head and glasses. I had my kids in there and he was making them feel very uncomfortable which made me uncomfortable. If he is there next time we plan on coming we will leave immediately. I will also be warning all of my friends of him.

We came here with my father in law while we were in town visiting. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. They have about 10-15 lanes as well as an arcade. They either charge you $35/hour or $7/person/game. The person gave us bad advice and told us it would take 1.5 hours to play 2 games, but luckily we ignored her and paid for an hour instead. We were able to finish 2.5 games in an hour with 3 people. Overall, I would say this is just your average bowling alley. Nothing special — good or bad — about it.

This weekend we checked out their newest product, HyperBowling, which mixes bowling with video game-type scoring using moving lights along the bumpers. Our entire group really had a lot of fun playing this, as the younger kids can really compete with the adults. My kids, who usually start to lose patience half way through a traditional bowling game, had a blast trying to beat their mom and dad. Both my kids wanted to keep playing even after two games. If you're looking for a new and fun group activity, then you need to try this!

Went for a team work lunch outing with around 40 of us. The food and drink was good, however there were only 4 pizzas brought out when we arrived. There ended up being a total of 12 pizzas (3 slices per person) over the 2 hrs we were there. We were given 4 lanes to begin with which meant 8 people to a lane. Because of the number of people per lane my lane only got to finish 9 frames. (Not even a whole game) we did end up getting 1 more lane but it was super crowded on several of the lanes. I don't know that I would go back with a large group or birthday party. Maybe a double date night but still would opt for somewhere else if I really wanted to bowl.

Great place to bring the kids. There is a games section for tickets and the lanes have bumpers that can come down per bowler. Not for the expert though, because the lanes are not very waxed and if you plan on bowling with a curve, you will current right into the gutter.

My sister in law and her matron of honour have been trying to contact this place for weeks to host a Bachelorette party. They have been horrible at communicating and haven't got back to plan this party. We were looking forward to a fun night here, but we are taking the party elsewhere, where someone appreciates our business.

We went there for bowling as a fun night celebrating a birthday. this is not the kind of place to go to for bowling though. If you are used to bowling in a league and know how to bowl the lighting in here is too dark and you cannot see the marks on the lanes in order to bowl accurately. The giant projection screens at the end of the bowling lanes provide too much glare on the surface of the lanes. We did enjoy the other video games though too. This just isn't a good place to bowl if you're serious bowler.

Bowling is fun but food and drinks are expensive. $9 for a "pitcher" of soda that's really a 1/2 carafe, but it is refillable. White pizza was obviously Frozen and lacked flavor.

Super cool place to hang out, non-offensive (both in volume and selection) music and somewhat surprisingly, I felt that the food was really good, the lanes were awesome, great layout and other fun lookin games to play.... I think this is actually a perfect place to bring kids and have a wicked good family night out, truly good ole fashioned, wholesome fun to be had by all! The staff were all quite pleasant and rather helpful too! Most bowling alleys are pretty damned sketchy places, even the bathrooms were nice here though. Far and away the place I will use (about once a decade maybe???) when I choose to go bowling in the future!

We had a lot of fun here. The food was better than you get at most bowling alleys. Due to the lane taking so long to get going they gave us a free 1 hour free play card for the arcade area and I think my son and I had far more fun there.

Star Lanes has a special meaning for me and my boyfriend. As this is where we hung out together for the first time without our friend group. And any other time we've been back since then has been a good experience, except for tonight. We found out that we could no longer pay by game, only by hour, which is pricey. We were also informed that no matter what you started our in this new hypo bowling thing. Which we discovered has a few bugs! For example we'd have to repeat frames even after we've completed the frame. This is why you test thing before releasing to the general public. Took us a few minutes to figure out how to turn off the hypo bowling, I wish we had a choice before we even started. They don't even take discover for the arcade cards! Which is annoying, thankfully I had some cash. So as we were leaving the building, we decided that we won't be coming back and going somewhere else for bowling. I'll also be advising my father, who's company host their holiday party at star lanes, to not to this year.

It's a fun, nice place to bowl. It's best to go when there's special pricing because it can get very expensive very fast. If you're looking to have a kid's bday party, this is probably not the place but it is good for adult fun. There is also an arcade area but I have never used it.

We checked several venues in the area to celebrate with family and friends. Star Lanes did not disappoint in the least! We rented the VIP area, which I didn't know existed until we were looking for a spot. Let me tell you...VIP was exactly what we got! Hopefully the management team will let Jessica know that she was greatly appreciated! Her customer service game is on point!! Actually, our party guests couldn't stop complimenting the food, the atmosphere, the facility... It was all great!! If you're planning a party, don't skip this place. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because I wish we could control our own music in that area. Other than that, from the moment we walked in the door, to our last hug goodbye sending guests on their way, it was first class.

Desk workers seemed to be enjoying recreational marijuana a bit early. Spaced out, which took them about 10 minutes how to split a bill 3 ways for bowling. Double charged me $53, and then said it was my fault and wouldn't issue a refund. Asked for 2 games for 9 people, and it ran $150. I ended up getting charged $106, and the other people each paid $50 as well. No receipts were able to be provided, and the management did nothing to help out. Brought my own shoes, and still got charged for theirs. Never going back, and the business is removed from our top vendor's list at my work which refers 100's of clients a year over there. I can see the business from my property, and they will be off our list! We were bowling for fun, but if your serious about your game, its not unusual for the lanes to not register your shot and allow you to shoot 4-5 times each frame..

Looks amazing on the inside, but everything is WAY over priced. Service was terrible and SLOW and the food was mediocre. Ordered an alcoholic beverage and watched the bartender make it and then it sat there for 10 minutes while my server was no where to be seen (they were not busy at all). They try too hard to present the food like a 5 star restaurant and it was no where near that. Small portions, over priced and was cold when we finally got our food. Will not be going back, not worth it.

Took the family for the new Hyper Bowling this weekend, and was a blast! It's definitely different than traditional bowling, but that was what made it so much fun. The bumpers are up as part of the game play, which makes it great for families, as any age can play. It's a treat time, and absolutely a must do, but it is a bit pricey sadly, and would not be doing very often.

Fun place to be with a group of friends. Wait period for bowling about 45 minutes on the weekend evenings. Good choice of drinks, however alcohol content in the drinks were not up to the mark. Food was horrible, undercooked/fried.

My sister rented out 4 lanes a few months back to get the family all together. We have a large family, and all range in age from babies to college students, Aunts ,Uncles & Grandma of course. They had a blast bowling and especially loved the arcade. We didn't make that little kids aware of the arcade until after bowling or they would have never wanted to bowl because they just wanted to play the games and win prizes. That staff was great as well as the whole experience including the large amount of food including pizzas and salad. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to get out and have a good time with her family.

I took my daughter and her friends for dinner and bowling and we received no service even after asking twice for a server. Informed management about the issue and we still ended up waiting for a server to come. Very disappointed in the level of service.

I really loving coming to Star Lanes ....the food is delicious and its a lot of fun. However, I think they really need to rethink how the restaurant wait staff is handled. Every time I go there we usually play games and then go to the restaurant and sit down for dinner. Rarely...and I do mean RARELY does anyone acknowledge that I have sat down at a table for a long time. The waiters rarely notice that I am awaiting service and there are no menus on the table for food. Its so annoying to have to wait for service let alone a menu especially when I may be the only cistomer! Management needs to train their waiters! Either have the waiters seat people (giving customers menues when seated or....... leave menues on the tables so people are occupied with the menu while we wait for the staff to address us. I should not have to track down a waiter! Other than this I love coming here, at least 2 to 3 times a month for date night and you will love it here too. The food is great and so is the service once you are acknowledged....

We put our name on the wait list to get a lane gave them name and phone number and they said they would text us when our lane was available. Never heard from them and when we checked back they said it would still be an HR wait there were no Lanes. Had to leave because we had to get a babysitter. Please be more organized.

I’d only been to Star Lanes once for a private party in the VIP area. It was awesome. Tonight 7 of us had two lanes from 7:30-10. From checkin to checkout the service was 10 out of 10. Of course when you bowl you eat. We destroyed the apps menu. Nachos shrimp wrapped in bacon spinach dip Phili Cheesesteak egg rolls !!!! And a bunch more. Everything delicious. Ok we did bowl too. Great facility.. nice couches and plenty of room for a large group. Highly recommend Star Lanes!

Wow, where to begin. I'll start with the only bad things to say, prices are steep and it can be really busy depending on when you go. Other than that, these are the best Lanes I've ever played on. Very good fun and a nice bar as well. The arcade is alright, but they recently added a 4D game that was extremely fun. Will be going back, it was an absolute blast.

Paid for and hour of bowling instead of paying for one game with 3 adult and 1 child and it was over $70 with shoes and the front guy never told us it would take longer then an hour to play a full game with that many people. We spent $80 on drinks and food so we ate as fast as we could so we could play in that hour. The place is nice but it's a rip off!!

Stopped by with my family for the first time today. I couldn’t figure out what the hype is about. Is the server service at the lanes an additional charge? I already felt like this place was pricey, but the others around us had serivers and we didn’t. Is there a reason for that? All I can think of is that maybe mynkids gave the appearance that I would buy anything? Or maybe our outer appearance alerted the servers that we don’t have money? I’m not sure what happened today, but I did not feel welcome here.

I don’t understand how this place has any good reviews. First of all, Star Lanes is so dirty. Their employees are so awful, I had to go to bar to order my food AND get drink refills when they are supposed to WAIT us. And I even approached the manager and said “excuse me sir?” twice and he didn’t even look up. Not to mention, they completely gave us the wrong pizza and their food is disgusting! The steak wontons tasted sour and were cold in the middle, I am pretty sure all of their food is frozen. They charge by the hour and 4 people can’t even finish a game in that hour so it’ll cost you well over $50 a person to play a single game of bowling. Also, this place is FILLED with middle school kids with no parents, who will be obnoxious and stand in your lane. If you are looking for a nice date night with your adult partner, look elsewhere. This place is overpriced and has the most awful customer service I’ve ever come across in the city of Columbus. So disappointed and such a waste of money.

The employees are nice and polite. I didn't go bowling but we played billiards and used the arcade. Billiards is definitely overpriced and their sticks aren't the best. The arcade is cool and they have guitar hero, which is mainly why we go. Good place to go to pass time and be able to do a small variety of things. Usually pretty busy though.

There are not many stars on their bowling lanes but the atmosphere and food are good. Although at times it can be crowded. However the have big size bowling shoes which is important because I wear a 16 men's.

Overpriced and the bowling is limited by time, so if you are part way done with your game and your time runs out, tough luck. You can buy more time to continue your game, but it is very annoying to have to guess how long you'll be playing and stop midway through. I would prefer to pay per game so you aren't rushed. The only benefits over normal bowling alleys are that it is it was built after the smoking ban so there is no smoke smell, and it is family friendly.

Went with a few buddies because of a Groupon deal. Good food at a collectively fair price. The wait staff was attentive. Did not bowl, but played the arcade because a game card with included with the promotion. A fair selection of food, drinks, and games to choose from. A reasonable way to kill an hour or two on the weekend with friends.

The value of playing pool is a lot better than of bowling. My wife and I had drinks and had food. The food was what I would expect but was executed very well. Everything tasted good. The bartender was attentive and helpful making my wife some puree and White Claw concoction that she loved. There were a lot of flies. The bartender didn't sweep it under the rug but also didn't fully address it as an issue. We had to cover our food and drink with napkins and coasters to keep them away. The space looks like one trying to compete with a Dave and Busters with games, prizes, and sectioned areas. We had fun but it might take us a while to circle back.

Clean location, helpful staff, but very high prices. They recommended 8 to a lane, we had 7 and spent over $100 (kids lane too) just on the lanes and shoes. Sadly, the way they have it set up, we werent even able to finish ONE game. We had a great time, but will probably stick the AMF Sawmill Lanes.

Great family night activity! Google Hyper Bowl- it's fun for the non-bowlers! Good staff. Yes it's not cheap, but if you have a group of 6-8 people, it becomes reasonably priced. The food is tasty with good size portions. Great place for team building events also.

This is the second time I have been here with bad experiences. The first time they told me this wasn’t a “real bowling alley” and they only oil the lanes once a week. Now the second time, while the lanes were oiled my bowling balls were completely trashed with marks all over them. I spoke with a manager and was told there are signs posted that they recommend due to the new pin setters no one bring their own equipment. Even if you are looking to have a good time with friends I would recommend going somewhere else.

This place is awesome!! The bowling alleys are cool and there is a game room! We had a great time bowling but the waitress we had was the rudest person I've ever met. She didn't get our order correct because she was to busy trying to be rude to us. So we had 5 hungry kids complaining the whole game. I'd suggest eating ahead of time so you don't have to deal with the restaurant

Looks like a great place for all ages (bar on one side and bowling plus arcade on the other). Only thing I had concerns about is when we asked about the wait for bowling. The employee told us about an 1.5hr but then proceeded to tell us “or it could be much less... I haven’t looked.” We werent Interested in possibly waiting an hour and a half so we thanked him and left.

This place was a lot of fun. The bowling was great the staff was very nice and helpful especially the bartender. The downside is the cost.... a little high for both food and bowling. The food is good well minus the pizza stay away from that...it was undercooked and tasted like the pizza from my high school cafeteria. Decor and ambiance is very nice.

When you go to a facility that destroys your equipment and the manager just points to a sign that says use equipment at own risk that should tell you something . Don't ever use this place if you are a good bowler and own equipment you paid good money for . Not all of us are bad bowlers . But looks like those are only ones that should use this crappy place . Terrible service during the weekdays. Just because it isn’t busy doesn’t mean not to service your customers. Wait staff terrible. Seems like they do things on the “when they feel like it” bases. Had to ask for a simple service multiple times. It was my first & last time visiting that establishment.

We went on a Monday. Prices are lower at that time ($3 a game). Not overcrowded. Bowling went fine. Ordered lots of food. Came out timely. Half off craft beers. One mistake on a pizza. They forgot a topping. No problem on keeping the pie and got another one quickly. Wings were over-fried. Tacos were very good. Spinach artichoke dip was acceptable. But the brownie with ice cream stole the show. Small place but decent if you go outside peak hours.
