Mahalls is a landmark on the west side. It is a delight to bowl with its retro fittings. Bar is great and the food is delicious and can be delivered to your Lane. Mahalls also has numerous live event's from music to experimental theater. Everyone on both sides of Cleveland should visit this unique establishment.

Went during Halloween. The mosh pit downstairs was the nicest mosh pit in a bowling alley on Halloween I've ever been to. 5/5 would go again

I've been here twice to see the same artists and I have to say this place is super cool. The room they put the shows in is super intimate you can get right up to the stage and the sound quality is better than you'd expect. Drink prices are reasonable and there is some food options. There is also bowling which I didn't do but if I lived closer I would definitely be trying it out. Parking is a pain but thats my only small complaint. I will definitely be back in the future.

A nice old school kinda place. You keep track of your score with paper and pen. They are happy to explain the score rules. The bar is expensive but I feel it's worth it. I would rather pay more for a good beer than pay less for watered down swill.

Nostalgic bowling alley with well maintained lanes, serving decent bar food at great prices. They also have good local entertainment here almost nightly attracting a younger clientele. This place is always filled on the weekend with young folks enjoying either bowling or live entertainment o two different stages.

This is the best bowling place in Lakewood. No matter what time you come, they will always find you a lane, even if you didn't book it in advance. The food is surprisingly good too. I would recommend reserving a lane online to make sure you're all set. Go check it out!

This place is pretty cool. 100 year old bowling alley I'm told. We bowled in the basement, saw live music upstairs ($10 show) and bought 2 chicken dinners with fries ($27). Bowling was fun, show was great, chicken was pretty good too. Not a bad night out at a place with an interesting mixture of things to do.

Great, hip place to have a drink. Service is often pretty good, and they sometimes have cool specialty cocktails. Events downstairs are pretty cool, although sometimes they charge extra just to dance down there. Bowling area is awesome. I've been for a couple of shows here, and the sound is often terrible, but it's fun anyway.

Best cocktails in town! Every time I order a specialty drink from the bar, I'm never let down. Great place for taking photos. The retro aesthetics can make anyone's Instragram pop! The lanes, being as old as they are, are completely functional and great. Not to mention the array of local performances every week. If you're looking for a great night out in a time machine, I highly recommend Mahall's. They are a Lakewood Legend.

Simply one of the best venues for live music in all of Cleveland. There a main room for artists with a bigger draw and the Locker Room space that is more intimate. In addition, the bowling alley is well preserved and historic. Add to that a kitchen serving great fried chicken and a bar with excellent bet choices.

UPDATE: they installed a new sound system! it's SWEET! Pros: Hippest venue around. All the cool kids hang out here. Themed dance parties every month. You can bowl for cheap. Staff is cool and nice. Cons: food a bit pricey

Mahalls is simply the greatest venue around. I've seen several of my all time favorite bands here and each time it's just such a blast. While the bowling is a little pricey, it makes up for it with it's amazing atmosphere which gives off real cool 60's vibes.

Great bar with cheap beers. The bar has its own authentic atmosphere which is cozy and a perfect place to chat with one or a group of friends. The bartenders are usually attentive. The rest is a venue and bowling alley with vintage style lanes and decor. Events can range from local and small name bands (usually), to improv groups and djs playing Japanese whatever kind of music!

One of the gems of Lakewood. The bar is super cool and good beers on draft. The bowling alley has a super retro feel to it. Not to mention the music venue is also great. They have all kinds of artists that come so anyone can go see a show at some point.

Went to Mahalls tonight with a fun group. Had Lane 8 upstairs. We all got shoes. Plenty of balls around and on the lane. The lanes are vintage meaning they do not automatically score. It was fun scoring and teaching my others friends to score. A band was playing downstairs. They have 10 lanes upstairs and 10 lanes downstairs. There is a bar. There is food. What was the most fun was everyone so excited when they did well and screaming our excited utterances. You will have fun at this hipster hangout but all including non hipsters are welcome too.

Really spectacular atmosphere with cool lights and pretty decent acoustics. Saw a couple bands and was not disappointed with the interesting lineup. Also had some fried chicken and fries and those were AMAZING! My only regret is digging in before I could get a picture (I was hungry as heck!). Though I wasn't able to go bowling, I plan on trying the next time I go.

Beautiful historic bowling alley with lanes up and downstairs as well as three show spaces, a bar & classic American food. They also do events like 90s dance parties, a yearly New Year’s Eve party & weddings. Mahall’s has the best fried chicken in the city hands down. Their cocktails are delicious... surprisingly complex in flavor and ingredients for a bowling alley. Interesting fact is that the murals in the bar room are all original paintings from a Mahall back in the 30s. The more you spend time there you will notice all of the little original details of the building. Mahall’s is also an all inclusive space that welcomes everyone. The staff is genuinely kind and helpful... with team members who’ve worked there for over 40 years! There’s lots of love and care put into every detail. You could say Mahall’s is a happy place.

I attended Olde Wrestling's Speakeasy Spectacular at Mahall's 20 Lanes and played a round of bowling in the basement after the show. There are also bowling lanes available on the main floor. The venue also sells food and drinks.
