Arcade games are a rip off. The machine shows you an error, and after speaking with a staff memnbrr about the issue he just smirked and said “that’s been happening all day”. Really idiot, put a “do not use” note on the machine. This place will not get my business anymore.

I am a regular at the Surfside Bowling Alley. My friends and I drive down from Georgetown once a week to play on Sunday nights when it's one dollar. Last night which was a Saturday they have a "special" its $16.20 to bowl from 11-2. There was one lady in the bar area doing the best she could. The people on the outside became annoyed and upset because the worker was not acknowledging us. The last straw was when we saw one of her friends come and ask for a drink and get it right away. We became furious at this point from standing in line for 30+ mins of not being acknowledged. She threatened to call the police on me, for what I don't know. But that bar incident last night and I am going to go to higher authority about this matter, so it doesn't happen again.

We (a group of just 3) arrived on a Friday evening at 6 pm to get a lane and were turned away because they had leagues coming in who would take up every lane. We were very disappointed b/c we planned this bowling trip for several days and planned to have dinner just next door at Crabby Mike's. We had to drive a good # of miles to the next bowling alley. They should post notices on their website if there are no lanes open to the public on weekends. Bad experience here. I recommend calling ahead to ensure sure they have lanes open for the public.

We go to Surfside Bowling usually once a year and always have a good time. The service is generally good, and the food is decent. It's probably best to show up on sunny days, as this place is slammed every time it's rainy or the forecast calls for it.

They put people right on top of us when there were other open lanes and then the guy decided to oil the lanes while we were still bowling. So, we had to sit and wait while he did the lanes around us. Good thing we didn't pay for a two hour block or I would be more upset.

Multiple arcade machines don't work at arcade. They told everyone in the line one hour wait, in to make people think they won't have to wait too long and they'll stay and spend money.

Just had my daughter's birthday party here. Outstanding experience! Kids had a great time and we had no worries! Michael took great care of us and the rest of the staff was friendly and also helpful. They really go out of their way to make sure everything is going smooth. I would recommend visiting this place for a party or just to roll off a few games! Great job to all that were working today! Dont waste your time. Made a reservation here and we show up 5 minutes early and they had given up our lanes. There were still atleast 15 lanes available which they wouldnt let us have because they were for the "league." Plnot to mention the amenities look like they are from the 80s.

We had a great time bowling here on a Saturday night. We arrived by 7:30p so it was busy bit we were still able to get a lane. They're not overly pricey for food and drinks which is nice. It was $17 for 4 games per person. This did not include shoes. Again, it is Saturday night though! Monday they offer a discount to locals.

Fun clean bowling alley and attached bar. They have put a lot of improvement into this bowling alley and it has paid off. They bar prices are very reasonable and the food choices are good and reasonably priced. Clean fun environment with plenty of lanes and good rates!

It's not much but it's a wonderful time for entire family! Kids have fun bowling with disco lights and parents can hang out on other side of the wall and play pool and actually have a drink and relax! And if kids want more there's always the arcade!

We had a birthday party for my son and it was great. The prices were fantastic, the bowling was fun and they didn't rush us and the kids had a great time. The food could be improved and they could use a few more workers. The workers they had were great though. I think the man who helped us was named Sean. (Sorry if I get the name wrong). He was so helpful and nice.

Absolutely great place to bowl for the family, very affordable, clean atmosphere. They serve food and alchohol, and also have there own restaurant/bar. Perfect place to go if at the beach and it rains, there is also an arcade and plenty of things to keep young children busy, we will definitely return.

This would be a great place if they would just take care of customers and not act like you are bothering them when you go to bowl. Never seen such disregard. Also, tried to call two days in a row for information - don't waste your time It is taken off the hook and a busy signal is all you will get. No, I am not kidding.

I bowl in two leagues on Wednesday nights. Surfside Bowl is good for league bowlers. As for non-league bowlers, after 6pm on Wednesday, its a 2 hour wait list after that much fun and decent food.

Always a joy to go to a place i went to when I was younger. The place has not changed much since then. But now i can take my children there. They have enjoyed hearing about all my stories from going there 20 years ago. I am glad the place is still opened. Sad some other places aren't still there to take them to at the Beach. This place is always full of laughter and fun. Families and friends finding a common ground in a competitive round of bowling. There is also the great food and the arcade for all to enjoy. Attached as well is the Brickhouse lounge. We play a game of pool, throw a game of darts and enjoy the big screens. We don't actually drink but for those who do they bar is there for your enjoyment. A great family place for all to enjoy in many ways. Will go there again and again when at the beach.

We had so much fun. Went on a Saturday night for my birthday. The lanes were full so we threw darts instead. It wasn't crowded in that area, the bartenders were super nice, music was great... it was a lot of fun and much better than the extremely crowded and bowling alley a few miles away!

This is a Very outdated bowling alley! Plus it seems very pricey for the atmosphere. The monitors for the bowlers are still 4x3, so most names are cut off. They did not have a lot of kid bowling balls. I did not have great experience with lady at the desk setting up our games.

It's a fun place to bowl. Older equipment frequently malfunctions though. And there's no changing station in the women's bathroom, so if you have very little ones and need to change diapers, come prepared to fend for yourself.

Good "rain at the beach" option. The lanes are well kept and oiled and the balls are in decent shape. The food was just "meh" but craft beer pitchers was a nice touch. The lady at the snack bar was kind of rude but our group had a good time overall. Their arcade was just okay - sufficient but not glamourous.

I have a lot to say about this place. First of all the managers and staff here are so friendly. When we were leavong they asked about our visit and upon chatting they gave us coupons for a BOGO deal so we went 2 days in a row. The prices are amazing, the food prices are incredibly fair. The food quality is great when you have been to as many bowling alleys as I have, honestly. No terrible aftertaste in the fried stuff, everything was hot and cooked correctly. The shoe rentals were clean, the lanes were really nice, the ball selection was great, the crowd was laid back. When I come.back to Myrtle Beach I'll totally stop back here again, I wish our bowling alleys back home were even half as nice!

Good bowling alley, kids friendly. There is food and drinks inside. Video games and pool tables if interested to do something else. The equipment is a little bit outdated, but everything works and the family and friends had fun. We will surely come back to get some strike outs.

This is so fun and takes me back! It was a fun place and has a large arcade area with a lot of the retro games! I will definitely go back there. Next time I want to try some of their food. Many people were bragging about it while we were there. We had already eaten though!

Beware I would give zero if possible. They falsely accused my son and his friends of stealing the shoes and breaking a rake arm. The night manager called the cops an hour after they left and refused to show the video recording. He told my son if he paid 150.00 on the spot he would not pursue charges. Unsure what business allows a night shift manager to request funds without an estimate for repair cost and without confirming what happened to the equipment. The situation was not resolved until the next day and it was confirmed that they did return their shoes and did not cause any damage.

We called to make reservations for lanes because we had a large party we wanted to bring for a team bonding. Whoever answered the phone insisted we didn't need reservations on a Sunday. When we arrived there was a league tournament and we had to put our name on a list. They couldn't get us more than 2 lanes even though we had 30 people with us. They told us 30 minute wait, we waited an hour. They tried to tell us only 6 people per game but actually you can add 12. I mean sure it takes longer to get through a game but at least we were able to get all our kids added. Food was mediocre and the service was blah. It took 2 hours to play one game since they woulf only give us 2 lanes. They did refund us the money for the 2nd game without any problems so that is why they get a second star. We won't be back.... but thaaaaaaaanks!

I liked it. It is really old and u can tell they have not updated anything in year but it was a good time. The staff is also super nice there. They let me use one of the staff’s bowling balls because the others were too heavy. The price was just like any other bowling alley. Bring socks obviously lol
