The only hangout spot in Sparta, so all of the hooligans in town come here. Only two pool tables for the people who don't want to bowl.

Visiting in town, we went when the facebook and website said they would be open. When we got there the door to the alley was unlocked and the sign on the door with the hours said they were open. When we got inside the lights were off. The tvs for the lanes were on. We even ran into someone working behind the desk but they ran back to the restaurant before we went up to the counter. After 10 minutes of waiting around for someone to come back we finally walked into the restaurant and the waitress told me they were closed because they didn't want to pay someone to sit there if there werent any bowlers. She said you could reserve a time for bowling for a party but otherwise they were mostly open on Fridays. Look, I get that it's a small town and there isn't a big need for a bowling alley, but you should 1)lock the door 2) update your signage, facebook, and website. All indicate you are open more than you actually are. Not a good experience and frankly a waste of time. It looks like a cool bowling alley though.

My dinner at the River Rock Cafe was very good. The locally raised Hamburger Steak with mushrooms and onions was cooked perfectly, as was the twice baked potato. Even with most of the tables full, the service was friendly and prompt.

Great family atmosphere. Had a kids bday party and we had the whole place to ourselves. Employees were friendly and helpful. The kids had a blast.

Great service, hubby never hurt for another beer .... jukebox too! Had a blast for my honeymoon
