Bad experience! We had a family gathering and arrived at 245pm. The wait for a table was up to two hours. We went to the bar for a drink and waited 30 minutes to order 4 beers. It was so loud in there, we decided to go across the street to another bar. We had to wait 30 minutes to get our credit card back. The bartender was asked four times to give our credit card back that was left as a tab. He ignored my repeated requests and when I started to get upset my daughter stepped in and he ignored her as well. Finally another bartender was trying to serve another customer standing next to my daughter and that customer asked the bartender to return our card before he would take his order. I thought ignoring repeated requests to return our credit card was very rude and unnecessary. We were nothing but polite and respectful. I don't understand why we were treated in that manner. I won't be going back to this establishment.

I’ve been several times in the past two years, service has always been average- bartenders walk by several times looking down instead of making eye contact and have to search for servers once they take your order. Atmosphere is great though, several games and bowling available.

Horrible customer service, spoke with the front desk person over the phone around 4:43 pm on 3/6, then transferred to the event coordinator. Neither were inviting, I had to probe for answers to my questions. They didn't want to provide the pricing for the event planning. It was if I should have known their business and I've never been there. I would never do business here for this exact reason.

There were no more than 4 of us at the bar including myself and it took forever to get my drink and it wasn't good. Food was mediocre at best; Burger and fries. The 2nd bartender that came to help us was much better but a lil too late. When we called they said they were busy but closing at 10 when we got there the place was practically empty and they close at midnight.... They need to get there story straight.

Adult game bar. Duck pin bowling, table shuffleboard, floor shuffle board, Jenga and a few other table games. The music is pretty good on the weekends but the food is lackluster even for a bar. Definitely a fun time but not the best game bar in Charlotte but don't let that stop you from making a visit. Also during NFL football season this is Miami Dolphins bar.

Hi I went to this establishment lastnight for a class reunion for the very first time. The vibe was nice and so were ALL the employees EXCEPT one. It was a bartender (short, dark hair, white young lady) . She was working the outside bar BUT taking an extensive amount of time to get to the guests. Now I understand the place was busy on a Saturday night so I was patient. Once she made it to me however she stated “If YOU guys don’t start tipping I’m not serving you” I didn’t know it was the bartenders choice to decide if the business makes money or not. Any who I politely left her bar and went to the inside bar and tipped the other bartender generously. I dated a bartender and totally understand the struggle; but to demand and demoralize individuals it NOT the way to get a tip. In turn ALL individuals in the group left and went to Blue Olive after I finished my beer. I called this morning to speak to the general manager Brad as well.

Understaffed and jam-packed for Halloween weekend. Four bartenders? I get better amateur service on campus in college towns. After waiting 20 minutes for a beer, I was unsure why my receipt was $7.58 for a $6 pint of Copper. Tax rate isn't 26%...

Waited 10 minutes with no service at the game station. Host finally came over and completely passed over us for other people who hadn't been waiting nearly as long even after I talked with that host to let him know we had been waiting. Went to the bar after to order a drink and was not approached by a server for over ten minutes again. Service is absolutely abysmal here, such a disappointment for how many times I have frequented this place in the past.

Went there for a company event. Parking is not the best, but we had a large crowd from work. For me it was too loud, music blaring, games going off, people screaming. A few of the people from work seemed to like it but others just hung out together at the bar. I think it would be fun for a younger crowd if they were into retro games.

Adult game bar with a few of each type of game, not enough to service the crowd that it generally attracts. Food is average and the wait to get a table is usually pretty ridiculous. I generally don’t enjoy going here for most occasions. Came in NYE and ended up leaving because the DJ was awful. Went uptown and ended up having a great time

Loved this place. The food was amazing best nachos in Charlotte. They even had a vegetable option that had mixed vegetables. It was awesome. Really the best nachos. The had various games even games on the patio. My server Hampton was amazing and knowledgeable of the menu. The bartender made awesome drinks they don't skimp on tge alcohol.

I used to like this place. Hadn't been in a while but we swipe a card to play air hockey and there's no puck. No problem, I'll walk up to the gaggle of young employees standing around doing nothing (it was early and slow). One of them looked at me like I asked her to cure cancer. Another said, "try kicking it a couple times". After none of them bothered to follow us there to help (out of like 6 people), we moved on to Connect 4. Started a game, but the sides are coming part, and the bottom eventually drops out. An allusion to our experience at QPS, so we tab out. {Insert Imma Head Out Meme}

There’s a lot of bars, breweries, and distilleries in the area within walking distance. On a day where you want to stay inside and play games with friends, Queen Park Social is the place to be. There’s several board games floating around and a baci field inside. The bar is a fun, hip atmosphere to chill with friends.

I’ve been here many times and usually have a great experience. There’s a great selection of alcohol and games, with a mostly friendly staff. I’ve only had one bad exepierence at this place and it was due to my server Jeff. I’ve had him twice and both times he was intoxicated and incompetent, stumbling around and could barely do his job. The drinks took forever to come and he got our food order wrong twice this past time we came. My advice is breathalyze this guy before you let him work or pay attention to your staffs behavior. Besides that the place is amazing, great location and loads of fun.

Was greeted by Sarah she was very friendly and when I told her it was my first time here she showed me where every thing was and got us on the list to bowl after we were down eating.Great atmosphere very friendly. I did have to wait bout 10min before a server came over apparently she didn't realize we were in her section was seated. Another server Nick came over and got me a drink and an ap immediately and was on top of every thing we asked for. The food was amazing and filling. I liked the atmosphere. I like that there are so many game options, some that cost and some complimentary. The girls and I enjoyed ourselves! I tried 2 drinks that didn't blow me away a Pineapple Mojito(I sent back) and Strawberry Margarita on the rocks(didn't want to keep sending drinks back, so I kept it). I had the buffalo wings too, they were pretty good. I'll be going back for the games for sure!

Queen Park Social is a fun place to go to. In addition to a bar, they have a plethora of activities - bocce, bowling, shuffleboard, cornhole, arcade basketball, air hockey, etc. they also gave a dedicated parking lot, which is clutch for this busy area. There’s something different about their bowling - I don’t know enough about bowling to identify it but I don’t think they wax their lanes, resulting in me not being able to spin my ball - the short of it is go for social, not competitive. The biggest drawback is it’s a popular spot so on weekends it’s often hard to get to the games you want to as it’s full of bar-goers.

I was very satisfied with the professionalism and prompt response from Queen City in resolving our issue. We will return to give them another try. They have great management team.

I might be the ONLY adult to write a review NOT based on any alcohol! I didn't drink and didn't come here to do so HOWEVER the atmosphere was CRAZY!! I LOVED THE ENERGY and the Jumbo size Jenga, Connect Four and Uno had me from the jump! Awesome place to go solo and meet new people. Even though I went with another couple, we still meet new people! The DJ was the shiid and the music was lit!! Hands down this place is awesome! I can't believe this is the same place I went to when it was the old Queens Park with the movie theater in the 90's!! Hit or miss. Stick to beer or something other than liquor. Severely under poor, even when asked for a double. If you have ever bowled on a real alley before and somewhat know what you're doing, you'll dislike these lanes. Bowling alley is better suited for children. Friendly service, and lots of games.

Went here a couple of weeks ago with some family members who came from out of town to visit. Wanted to take them somwhere cool to hang out and play games etc. The place smelled like urine as soon as you entered. My sister was ordering tequila shots and the bartender advised he didnt have the tequila she wanted. So she asked what other ones he asked and how much they were. He has the nerve to say "If you cant afford it you shouldn't be ordering." Like who says that? She ended up buying a round of 6 shots for around $70. And these were served in plastic by the way. The bartenders name is Phillip D. Unacceptable service. I hope mamangement speaks to their bartender because I definitely don't plan on coming back with that kind of service!

I suggest the owner has a talk with his staff because discrimination is really big in this state and ICE is also really big in the state..... Discrimination is WRONG!!!! But ICE will be paying a visit to your restaurant as well as a couple of good lawyers for this discrimination suit that's about to happen.

3rd time here. Each time takes 10 min or more for someone to come to a high top to take a drink order. This time what looks like a manager was making the mediocre service here worse by hitting on his waitstaff instead of taking care of customers. Tall guy with glasses. We keep coming back cause the kids have fun and we hope for a better experience. I am sure we will be back hoping this post will help management clean the swamp. Well, back again. Hostess tells us to seat yourself in the gaming area or bar area. We find a seat in the game area and about 5 minutes of waiting for a waiter a girl finally comes up to the table to tell us the game area is reserved for a private party. It would have been nice of the hostess knew this. I am sure I will be back hoping that If I lower my expectations I wont be dissapointed. Ps the red headed waitress we had was great. When things start off poorly it's just hard to enjoy yourself.

Came here to enjoy a Saturday afternoon of football and watch an in state game between UNC Tarheels and Appalachian State.. There are lots of games on their TV's but mostly games that no one from our region of the country would be interested in watching. We talked to the manager and he said he couldn't and wouldn't change any television to the game we wanted.. When we persisted to ask, the manager said " no means no"! He even suggested that we go somewhere else to watch the game. What a terrible manager!

I really enjoyed my time here. I love that there are a bunch of free options for games to play and it is a frat place to socialize. The drinks were also good I had the margarita and the Apple cider sangria. I also ordered the chips salsa and guacamole which I did not like that much. The guacamole taste bland and the salsa was watered down. However overall the service was fantastic and the ambiance was great. I would definitely check this place out.

This was our first visit. The place looked cool. We were a group of 6 today. Walked in, and the girl at the front desk didn’t even say hello, nor direct us where to go so we walked around. She was too busy on her phone and wiping menus we guess?! That was enough to make us leave. Such a shame.

We visited Queen Park Social for a small group gathering and really enjoyed this place. We had great appetizers, drinks, and dinner. There are so many different games that we were only able to play about 2 of them. We are definitely looking to come back and do our best to play several more and try to make it to the other side of the building which we didn't even get to see. This is a great place to come hang out and have fun or get competitive and see who can win the most variety of games.

I’ve been here with friends a handful of times so here’s my take on the place. It’s a pretty big venue and has everything from pool to board games. The drinks are a little pricey but they do have a pretty big selection to choose from. Every time I’ve been in here they’ve had a DJ that switches it up and plays a little bit of everything which I enjoyed. The only negative things I noticed are if you order a drink from a server it takes a little while to get. Also if you order from the bar avoid the older blonde bartender, she was quite rude and had an attitude every time someone in the group ordered from her. Besides that it’s an all around fun place to hangout!

Stayed here for a little while prior to going to where we really wanted to go but the wait was an hour. Waitress was nice and friendly. Drinks were on time and food was alright but not super impressive. The "casual dining" environment was a little weird for me being there were couches and different tables. Very noisy of course, but it was still fun. They have board and card games to kill some time. Definitely for a young crowd, especially college demographic. Would possibly come back again.

This place is pretty fun. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends so if you plan to bowl, get there early. We put our names in for a lane and was told it would be 2 hours, ordered food and 30 minutes later a lane was available. Most stuff is free, but for the stuff you pay for, the card machine is hit or miss. Bring some dollar bills. The food was only okay. Sweet potato fries were great!

QPS had a cool atmosphere, and the live music on Fridays is a fun touch. It's easy to find, and it's not a bad walk from the Scaleybark light rail station. The games arcade games are fun and the bowling looked good as well, although it fills up fast. My only complaint is that the drinks are pricy for how weak they are, but that's on par with most bars in the area. Overall, a good place for a low-key night out.

It's a really nice spot in montford area. Biggest issue is finding a parking spot. Overall not a bad spot to watch football games.
