I love this place I dropped a little bit of popcorn they were there to clean it up before we even asked. Then they gave us enough popcorn to cover what we lost. Thayer is nice and Atmos theater is better then any other around.

Service was awful from the time we made our reservations to the time we finished bowling. Our waiter was awful. When it was time to pay our tabs most of them were wrong, he charged drinks that weren't served to us. Needless to say I won't be bowling here anymore, I rather go to AMF.

This is a great place for group activities. Our group went bowling and used one of their packages to include the shoe rental, food, and drinks. Our servers were so nice and laid back. The food was really tasty. I enjoyed my experience here. They have plenty of balls to choose from. I had to take away a star because the ladies restroom was filthy and the lounge chairs in the bowling alley were ripped in places and held together with duct tape. Other than that, overall it’s a great place to bowl and enjoy friends.

We had our daughters birthday party in the bowling section. It was one of the best kiddie parties we have thrown. Ashley our planner was a good communicator with the planning. The server Sophia was very polite and attentive. The food was good and hot.

This movie theater has a great arcade. Which was convenient while we waited. The food was delicious. Excellent service from the employees. The seating is very nice. But the bathrooms needed attention. One stall was out of order, but it smelled like week old urine. Why should a toilet be out of service that long in a business?

We were extremely disappointed at our first impression of this establishment. We arrived for my girlfriends birthday celebration approximately 10:25pm. We were denied the opportunity to bowl, play pool and the bartender was less than enthusiastic to serve us our 2 mixed drinks. The website says open til midnight but seems like it closed at 10:00pm. We are both customer service professionals and appreciate early close preparation but damn people this was bush league at best. We expected and hoped for much more. Never again!

I haven't dined in the theatre. I only went to see Creed 2 and they still were showing it and had a nice variety of show times compared to other theatres. The seats do have trays to eat on. Very cool place overall. I have played in the arcade and bowled here also and had a great time. Something to do no matter what. On the weekends the bowling lanes get filled quick so be prepared to wait. Very cool atmosphere and I wish it was closer to me but worth the drive. The Prices aren't the cheapest but still better than some with similar concepts.

Bowled there. Nice lanes. Cut us off from our last frame because there was a big party but no one was actually there yet. My friends ball was actually going down the lane and it smacked into the gate. Plus apparently they have never heard of AC. I was fanning my shirt at the little blowers near the ball return. Thought I might have to go to the men's room and take a sponge bath.

Katelyn/Catelyn the manager is very racist and shouldn’t be in a leadership role. Myself and several of my friends drove nearly an hour to visit CineBowl. Once we arrived, we were standing in the line to pay for a bowling lane. A young, African American gentleman approached us informing us that CineBowl would be closing an hour early due slow business/decreased sales. It was never advertised that this is CineBowl’s website. We asked to speak to the manager (Katelyn) and she walked away from us and pulled the registers to ensure we couldn’t bowl. We asked for her name and she refused to give it to us. We asked for the general managers contact information and she refused to give it us. We arrived at CineBowl at 8:50pm. Katelyn said that they close an hour early. We arrived an hour and 10 minutes before closing. I informed her that we arrived a little over an hour prior to closing and she screamed “well, we close the lanes 2 hours early” she was very rude and defensive.

I went there with my family about a week ago and the experience was horrible. We went bowling which was pretty fun but we also got tickets to see creed II. One of the workers walked us to our seats and another family was actually sitting in ours. They told us that they will fix it and had us sit somewhere for now. As we were sitting in the seats a family came up to us and complained about us sitting in their seats. The manager then came and made us sit all the way by the screen and DID NOT fix our first problem with our seats. The manage totally ignored our problem and forced us to sit in bad seats after somebody took our seats. I will never attend cinebowl ever again !!!

Customer service sucks, seem like they don’t care about customer. And the worst is when you to mention it to the manager about the service he doesn’t care. I would not recommend this theater; there many other options in the area. And the tickets are also on higher-end, $12 - and they don’t provide service even.

Great idea, poor execution. I bought tickets online and the website doesn't tell you if the show your booking for is "Dine & Recline" or not. If you go before evening hours they don't have any servers to accommodate the Dine & Recline. Showed up at the theater and they didn't have anyone to serve food, so you have to get in another line to order food. They won't deliver it to you at your seat, so you have to leave the the theater and "guess" when your food will be ready and take it back to your seat that doesn't have any trays. Just sit there with a full plate of food in a tight seat. Asked for my money back and they refused me cuz fandango sold me the tickets, not the theater. They only offered me vouchers to come back and be disappointed at a later time. Find another place to spend your money.

Went with a group of friends. We waited 35 min for a lane to bowl. When we were purchasing the bowling both myself and one of my friends specifically asked the lady if we could purchase an additional hour later in the night. (You’re allowed up to 2 hours of lane time) She didn’t hesitate and happily agreed that yes we could. About 45 minutes later I returned to add the second hour to the bill. She looked at me and said “oh sorry we have a wait list and it’s the weekend we can’t extend your time”. I can’t even begin to say how frustrating something so simple is for the customers! The manager got involved and was very rude and un helpful. They both kept repeating that it was just their policy. This policy isn’t posted anywhere nor was it communicated to us. The worst part was that we specifically asked about this very scenario and were told the exact opposite. Absolute garbage management. Will most likely never return. I can bowl unlimited at an actual bowling alley and pay a lot less.

My husband and I went to see Creed II here tonight we ordered our food and went to our theater as we entered we notice immediately it was very warm. We thought maybe it was because of the lights but learn quickly the AC was broken. We will not return here that was horrible and our food was not good choose another learn from our experience don’t become a victim a bad experience spend your movie where they take better care of their theater.

Screen with good comfy seats that recline. Decent selection of beers and other drinks. Nice place to organize work bowling events but I wouldn't recommend the same for family/friends as the prices are a higher compared to other bowling lanes. Staff's courtesy has been a hit or miss many a times.

Top notch theater. I even struggle to classify it as a theater since they have bowling lanes, arcade and a full bar alongside the theaters. It was extremely clean both in the theater and around the rest of the building. The arcade games were fun and the variety of refreshments is vast. Food and drinks aren't cheap but they are very high quality compared to other similar venues. They have some private party areas and a few of the bowling lanes can be curtained off for private parties. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful, we will definitely return. Its a 40min drive from home for us but its worth every minute for the experience.

For me, bowling is bowling, but I had lunch and played arcade games there as well and the WINGS were he best I’ve had in a long time. Crispy but coated with a mild hot sauce, awesome, not soggy like most places. Wednesday is half off arcade games, I loaded a card with $50 to use for a big group and we didn’t even spend half before we were WORN OUT from having so much fun!

This place used to be great. Unfortunately, the last 2 times (one being 7/21/19) the place has looked like a bomb went off inside . The bathroom was a disaster, and my seat and "table" were sticky and filthy. The worst part about it, though, is that most of the employees really couldn't be bothered. What happened to customer service? You almost have to take out a loan these days to go to the movies, I'm pretty sure we won't be back.

I took the kids to the movies all of the chairs recline, not just front row. I love movie theaters that serve food in theater, this was great. I was shocked by the huge portions and the food was really good. I highly recommend this theater!

From a bowlers perspective. I've been here twice and both times the bowling lanes were bone dry for any type of reactive bowling ball, even some plastic balls can hook towards the gutter if you're not careful. Don't come here for bowling if your more than casual, unless you're looking for a bad time. Theaters are nice though, which is why I'm giving it two stars instead of one.

I've been here twice, once to see a movie and wants to go bowling for a staff event. I had a great time. The movie theaters are very comfortable, with seats that recline. The bowling alley is spacious, with plenty of lanes. This is also very good, And they have a decent selection of local and regional beers.

Cinebowl has a good concept for fun. I enjoyed my outing. The loaded fries and chicken wings were AMAZING! I would have given it another star but my friend almost tripped over some equipment that was not put up and the movie we wanted was advertised but not actually available, the night we visited.

I went bowling here with my family for my niece’s 7th birthday, I don’t even know where to begin. The first thing I noticed was the temperature, it was like a humid sauna. Customers and employees were sweating profusely . The customer service was horrible, my mother-in-law and I were both harassed for tips by our server on more than one occassion. I’m an extremely kind person and it takes A LOT for me to get mad, but the server treated us poorly one multiple occasions. When we complained to the manager, they seemed to take the server’s side. If you don’t mind paying and someone being rude to you, come here.

No service when arrived, after ordered drinks, two drinks were missing, after food came pizza was incorrect and not hot, agreed to keep pizza and just order another pepperoni, asked server to bring BBq instead of Honey mustard for chicken tenders, server never showed up waseitg bbq, had to ask people up front to bring, told pepperoni pizza burned 20-40 min after ordering it, only went downhill from there. Waitress completely rude. Enough said

Came here expecting to have a sit down dinner only to find out they closed their restaurant. If you want to order food, you have to sit at the tiny bar or go bowling and order food. They used to have a restaurant complete with waiters and tables. I ended up going to Brixx instead. They shouldn’t advertise themselves as a movie theater and restaurant if you can’t sit down anywhere and eat. Definitely won’t be returning.

We dined and reclined! When babysitter time is limited, this makes dinner and a movie feasible. The website says you need to be there minimum of 30 min before your show to get served because they won't serve after the show starts. I think that's rather excessive, but it beats spending the time at a restaurant.

Friday night. Wait 5 minutes in a concession queue. I'm #2 in the queue. Finally another person shows up "I can help you here, sir". I say I'd like to pickup tickets and purchase concessions. "Oh, I can just help you with tickets." Get tickets, then told I have to get back in the line and work with another attendant who is 10 feet away at the exact same counter. Get concessions, it's a dine-and-recline theater. Wife and I say we'll get food in theater. Oh sorry, no longer have wait staff in dine-and-recline theaters. Have to go back to concessions stand to buy any food. Come on guys, fix this.

Been here several times. Furniture at the bowling lanes were raggedy the last time I bowled there. I, personally just don't like raggedy and worn furniture. Last night, I went just to the bar, the bartender was nice and knew what he was doing, very efficient in handling requests from the bar attendees, as well as the other patrons that weren't at the bar. I forgot his name but we were there after 7pm. Parking was ok, as new businesses open, the further away you may have to park :)

The bowling is lots of fun and the movie theaters are very comfortable. The food is good. However, they have a problem with customer service at the managerial level. There is nothing on the website to tell you when they are having IT issues with online ticketing, and my card got charged twice. It was unclear if I had any tickets at all. When I called, the manager seem annoyed and took my info and said he'd call back when the issue was fixed. 4 hours later, I called them and was told I had 2 sets of tickets and could get a refund when I came in. When I got my refund, I was told they could not refund the booking fees. (Honestly, there should not be booking fees when purchasing tickets through their website!) It is absolutely wrong to not refund the full amount when the issue was not the customer's fault. As this was my first time buying tickets from Cinebowl, it definitely does not leave a good impression.

An excellent theatre in this area. Very nice seating. FDX experience is very good. It has several options to explore in it like bowling, arcade and etc. There are several Restaurants and shopping malls close to the theatre.

My first experience at this place was absolutely terrible. I am a repeat customer of cinebistro, but I happened to try Frank Cinemas with my daughter since we were near. We walked in, and waited for a little over a minute before anyone acknowledged us. There were a team of people behind the ticket/concessions counter talking and laughing. We received a few looks but they still did not approach us until after we stood in line a while. Once someone came to the counter the gentleman stated “what do you need” in a very harsh, rude, and disrespectful manner (as if we the customers were bothering them). I proceeded to ask where do you pick up tickets that were purchased online and he pointed to the right. Another representative assisted me with tickets and I asked to speak to the manager on duty. I expressed my concerns to her and her reply was “I’m not sure what’s wrong, maybe he’s having a bad day”. This was definitely not the experience I had hoped for. I haven’t had dinner yet, but hopefully my review of the food will be much better than the customer service experience.If not I definitely will be back to write another review.

We've been going to the place to watch movies, bowl and play arcade games. It's a wonderful place. There's an all you can play option in the arcade for an hour which is worth the money. Of course you won't get any tickets for your wins. But it's fun.

I used to come to this theater religiously because they did everything right. Lately they have not gotten their air conditioning under control. I should not come out of a theater sweating like I have been in a sauna. I notified a staff member and they said they would have someone look at it. Nobody ever came. Sat 2 hours sweating. This is not just their smaller theaters this was the FDX Theater. This is the 3rd movie that has made me sweat. If your air conditioning is broken let people know. It's unfortunate but I will be finding a new theater to frequent.

Girls day at the movies. The staff was great desiring to help! Love that the food is delivered to you and the full recliner seating. The prices were way to high for the selection and portion sizes and didn't match the hype. This especially for the basics, like Icee and popcorn (compared to similar theaters in upscale shopping in the area. And with the other nice restaurants/food options nearby.) Also there's bowling, an arcade and alcoholic beverage service-- you can enjoy with the movie. So while you expect the mark up, it would better to have a little more variety with snack, food, and soda. Like maybe they could get a Freestyle soda machine for starters. Bottom line: If you're cool with trading a little value for service and convenience, you do get an overall great experience with lots of activity options.

Went here with some friends tonight. The bowling was fun, the food was pretty good, the service was absolutely horrible. Our server, whose name begins with a K, Keshia I believe, was terrible. She was rude, we asked for things we didn't get (which she also included on the check), we got things we didn't ask for. It was just pathetic. It's also pretty pathetic that gratuity is automatically added into the bill. That's why she didn't care because she knew the tip was included. I get that servers need to be paid, but we go there for an experience, and it wasn't a great one for me.

Great theater that serves real food and alcohol and let's you bring both into the movie. The seats are the automatic reclining kind and very comfortable. The sound is crisp and at a good level. Tickets are fairly priced too. I didn't do the bowling, so can't comment on that. All in all a good experience. Would recommend.

Very stinky in the hallways and in the theater. Mosquitoes and flying moths in the theater and very unpleasant atmosphere overall. It used to be nice. Certainly the quality tanked. Hope the management take actions to address the stink, mosquitoes and moths.

Theater is going down hill fast. You can’t order food in the theater any more and the menu has been drastically reduced. It used to be nice to come have a dinner and movie but now, get your meal before come and just enjoy the comfy seats. The last couple times I’ve been here, there have been issues with the ticket machines. Yeou might need to stand in a long line to get a hand written ticket because that machine isn’t working either.

Fruit Flies Everywhere..this was our first and last Time coming to this CineBowl location. For starters one of the seats we paid for didn’t work. Which was a surprise because the theatre is newer. The food was good except the Caesar salad My husband ordered. It smelt horrible so he didn’t even eat it. The main issue was the amount of fruit flies. It was so many you could see them (not just one) flying across the projector. My husband killed two. I knocked down 2 myself.

The thing that made this theatre nice was in theatre service. The food had always been mediocre but you had service from your seat. They have changed it. You now have to order at the front counter. They still deliver to your chairs but no servers are in the theatre to place additional orders. Alamo blows this place away with their in theatre full service the entire movie.

What is happening with this place! Their website doesn't list showtimes for this weekend, it's near impossible to find information about the different theater options (FDX Atmos, etc.) and when I called for movie info, the recorded message was from nearly two months ago! I spoke with someone at the theater about the problems and all they could say is, "just come in and buy your tickets." Is that Frank Theater's new customer loyalty program? I live 45 minutes away! This used to be our favorite theater to go to, but the lack of management and customer support have left me to go to other theaters. Get it together!

Great theater and comfortable seats. Really wish they would stop all food service once the movie starts. Had server standing in front of me looking around during an action scene in Aquaman. Grrrrr!

Very good theatre. Best place around to watch movie and play some bowling after movie. They serve food and alcohol inside theatre as it is dine in. Ambience of the games area as well as the theatre is good. It is located in good place with lots of shops around it if you want to spend an evening in any of the restaurants or bars around it.

I wanted to start off by saying, I never take the time to submit reviews. Many reviews here will tell you how this theater has gone down hill. I wanted to submit one purely for the fine and recline section of the theater. Attached is a photo of their Mac and cheese dinner. When ordering from a theater you expect for expensive options; however, when we used to come here they would come to your seat to get your order and then present it to you. When delivered they would bring you a napkin and silverware with the dish on a proper plate. Now. The two meals we received were literally microwave dinner platters for the 20 dollars we paid each. I am sure that they can state they make them first and pour them into the tray. I don’t believe that at all. When I asked if there is any forks or silverware they pointed to a tray at the front for us to get them ourselves. The food tasted worse than some of the trays I’ve purchased at the grocery store. If you were wondering how far it’s gone downhill based on the review, the proof is in the photos and reviews. Next time, I’ll likely drive further out to the waverly place theater.

We had a party of 9 people, paid over $200 on tickets and refreshments, and then were forced to take our mini bottles of water back to our car when they decided (for the first time in 20+ visits) to check my wife's purse. The sweet irony is that we brought those in so the kids wouldn't spill them everywhere, not to save money. It gets better: we then went to the counter and asked for 9 cups for water, and they obliged (they even gave us lids and straws, all free). So why make us go all the way to the car? We had a large group of kids, so really?! Jeez, get a clue guys! I spent $200!!!! The manager on duty seemed as though being inflexible was a good way to approach customer service. I disagree and will spend my money elsewhere and I highly encourage anyone reading this to do so as well.

Sound was good, chairs were comfy, and the food was nice. Please do something about the temperature inside the theater, it was really stuffy and sweating while sitting makes for a really long movie.

Website was down for two days to purchase tickets. Bought tickets a day in advance by driving to the theater...day of the movie we arrived and the show was cancelled due to AC issues..they were disorganized in refunding our tickets and suggested we see the show in another of their theaters.... which was already running and we would have missed the first 20 minutes of the show ..and they thought that was not a big issue

Had an odor in the theater that smelled unpleasant. Seats weren't clean and popcorn was lodged between the seat from prior customer. Had to purchase tickets at the concession counter and staff was more concerned with chatting with each other vs. helping customers. Didn't go into the bowling, arcade or bar area.

I agree with someone else. I’m really disappointed with the cinebowl. They really have changed their dine in and recline services. The servers are rude. You can’t just order inside the movie theater itself and having the people come take your order, you have to order food at the concession stand. I’m very upset and disappointed! This is not how you would run a facility as someone else had mentioned. Really have downgraded since I have been here. I thought this place would be a good place. But now I prefer the other dine in recline movie theater.

The food has always been a bit skimpy or bland but this last time we went will be the last time we go. First off they only offer ordering in theater at certain showings now. You have to order at the bar otherwise. The bar tender acted bothered that we were there. One of the soda machines wasn’t working. We get to our seats and the recliners are looking worse for the wear and my foot rest jerks weird if you rest your foot on it the wrong way. I got the chicken Alfredo. It came without the garlic bread. I had to track someone down to get it. The commercials before the movie was played with just audio (no video). My meal was luke warm and greasy. The garlic bread wast garlicky or toasted. My husband’s Bavarian pretzels were underdone. Two difrent customers had to complain about the projector being off and they still didn’t turn it on until they started the film reel.

We purchased tickets to see Marvel's Avengers: Endgame weeks in advance at Franks so we could do Recline and Dine. They no longer serve inside of the theater for food or drinks. We were sent to the bar with our two kids to find food. No one wanted to help us so we ended up going across the street to Hickory Tavern for food. The theater seats did not recline. We will never go back. NOT WORTH IT.

What a mess and such a disappointment. The whole place was dirty (popcorn, straw wrappers, you name it). Ordering of food isn’t done at the theater (you have to go to concessions). Soda machine out of ice, straw holder out of straws. Recliner foot rest broke. Food was blend... McDonalds is better. It seems this place doesn’t have a manager or nobody cares to keep things functioning as they are supposed to. Not coming back.

Did a work group outing here and it was a really good deal, a lot of fun and we received great service. The food that was included was pretty good too, especially for a bowling alley. We will do this group outing again.

Wow, the most disappointing experience EVER! I went when Frank's 1st opened, I was so excited, great time. I went last night, the food was extremely overpriced and disgusting, nothing more than cheap warmed up frozen foods. For food/2 drinks/tickets, it was over $60 for 2 people!! Dirty carts and boxes stored in the hallways, get your own condiments on a filthy cart in the theater. Broken chairs in the theater....the foot rest was so broken when I put the rest up, the right side hung down at at 45°....sickening.

I've been to Frank Theatres CineBowl a few times, both in the bowling area with coworkers several times and when seeing movies. The bowling area is designed a bit poorly if you have a large group, as sliding by each other between the couches and tables is less than idea when it's your turn to bowl. That being said, the food and drinks offered are pretty delicious, albeit a little overpriced. I prefer the layout of King's in Raleigh. The theater itself has very comfortable reclining chairs and good quality screens, but the price of a movie ticket is absolutely insane compared to other theaters like this (Raleigh Grande, AMC Dine-In).

This by far is the best movie theater that I have ever been to!!! It is a great concept and there are plenty of movie options to see!! Very clean and very reasonable priced!! I highly recommend this place!!!

If your going here for the movie facet then it is a great experience with reclining chairs and restaurant style food that can be eaten in the theater while you watch. There is a bar, bowling alley, and arcade as well. However, the bowling is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE and the beer is pretty pricey as well. The bowling lanes are of pretty good quality with good oil patterns and Monday is $2 shoe rental and bowling games so this is the only night I would advise bowling here.

Used to be our theater of choice. I used to be able to justify paying a higher priced ticket becAuse i could order everything from my seat and the food was okay. Now you have to order from the lobby and fill you own drinks. The food went down hill and not good anymore. Half of the chairs are broke and doesn’t look they ever get fixed. I’ll stick with our other dine and recline theater that’s way nicer.

Clean nice place, fun and great concept. Staff is friendly and respectful. However, the service at the alley it’s self is awful. Not attentive or speedy. We had to go find our waiter to order drinks a few time and to also get our bill to pay.

I was initially floored by how a company could make a $XX million dollar investment in Cary here and than totally run it into the ground. Than I found the bankruptcy filing from a month ago online! This place's parent company is in chapter 11 bankruptcy. That must explain the terrible service, terrible quality of food, and the I don't care attitude. Chicken under cooked. terrible food, truly expensive and just gross can't even eat it. Manager and all employee's just hang around the end of the bar carrying on in their own world and party, nobody cares at all. 20 Minutes before server came over, another 20 minutes after we got our food (gross). No service what so ever. Amazing lack of caring given the investment, other businesses doing exceptionally well in the plaza, its not the people/guests, its the management and service of the establishment. Just WOW! Somebody call Jon Taffer please!

I enjoy coming to this movie theatre. The seating is comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was that is was slightly more expensive than the regular priced movies theaters such as crossroads. I enjoyed the bowling and the bar. The drinks are excellent but the food seemed processed.
