No wait for a lane even though it was almost a full house. Great lanes, plenty of staff at center desk. They need to tell the teenagers to observe lane courtesies. Those with young children need to keep them from running on the wood! No lie, I could've injured 3!!!! It was great to see so many young adults choosing to NOT hang in the streets.

It's an older facility but still relevant. We went to a child's birthday party here and he enjoyed it. There are a ton of lanes, an arcade and three small party rooms. The place is a acceptably clean and all of the games worked.

Starlight bowling turns out to be a lot less cooler than you would think. They simply turn out the majority of the lights without any additional party style lighting. The lanes themselves are nothing spectacular.

Wanted to do something Something else when I first was on vacation in Raleigh. Me and a friend bowled some rounds, always fun. We was not able to book a new round after 10.30pm despite the fact that several had done it before us. they closed 11pm. so that was okay. we had a great evening. would like to go for another round of bowling the next time I'm in town.

Everytime I go here I have a great time with my kids. The front desk staff is pleasant and the lanes are good. The tables and chairs are a little outdated, but they are very clean and nicely arranged. The package deals are very reasonable. The food is typical bowling alley food, but the menu is very wide ranging. The ONLY downside to this place is a lack of beer or wine. It is strictly for a family crowd.

My friends and I absolutely love this place and are willing to drive the 12 miles out of the way it is every Wednesday and Thursday night. The bowling alley really creates a great family/team atmosphere. I remember first going to this bowling alley and being bummed out that they didn't serve beer, but eventually I saw that it wasn't such a bad thing. Actually, I noticed I enjoyed the atmosphere a lot more and focused more on my bowling and friends vs. drinking/eating. The lanes are well taken care of and the staff is mostly cordial. I say mostly cordial because once or twice because one or two can be a little snippy. Haha! But we all have bad days, don't we? :-) Anyway, they're great but very busy, so don't take offense. Highly recommend this place!

Great place to go bowling! I've been here multiple times over the years and keep coming back. I've not tried the food in a long time, but I'm sure it's on par with what you'd expect from a bowling alley. Arcade is great, lanes are maintained and I love the ball selection. There's plenty of different sizes and weights for everyone in the family.

Went here for a party with friends and the service was poor. Staff was confused and didn’t give the right amount of lanes that the party booked. When they finally added the additional lane they ended it the same time as the kids lanes (which started 20 minutes earlier than the adult lane) Lazy host. Then they had the nerve to be counting down every single second in the party room “you guys have 14 minutes left” stay away from this whack place.

My family was in town and we were looking for something to do that was active and teen friendly. We tried to go to another bowling alley, but they didn't have any open lanes, we ended up here instead. The employees were friendly and great. The prices are a bit high and the shoes were completely warn down.... There was ZERO slide in them at all. The family had fun, but will not go back due to prices. We ordered a loaded nachos, which was also pricey, and just ok tasting.

Good safe fun for the kids. Lanes are great Bc the bumpers operate automatically. We went at night and felt very safe. No alcoholic beverages which is a pro and a con. Lots of young people having fun and my family had a good time as well. Will come back for sure.

The lady was really racist. She doesn’t have good customer service. We paid to bowl just like everyone else but when we had drinks she told us we can’t drink but everyone else had drinks and she didn’t say anything. Usually love this place but i’m very disappointed.

It is always nice to go to the Buffalo Lanes yes, it's one of the few bowling alleys still open in the area, at family of four will end up paying roughly $70 for shoes and two games apiece with maybe $10 tokens, you can always check for coupons on phone apps or in the store.

Called at opening wanting to reserve a lane for my sons birthday. Was told it is first come, first serve. When my small group arrived two hours later to bowl, was an hour wait so I got to explain to my four year old that the bowling alley doesn’t take reservations for some reason. As busy as Raleigh is, this makes no sense. Best birthday ever!! Thanks Buffalo Lanes North! I’ll never come back. Next time I’ll only use businesses that can handle simple tasks such as scheduling. Was open lanes everywhere and was told they were reserved for leagues. Looks like they get to call ahead.

I’m usually not one to leave reviews and low marks but the experience we had was. I attempted to reach out the normal ways but didn’t get a response. My son Christian had his 12th birthday at your location last Sunday afternoon. I did fill out the party feedback form but I wanted to let you know I now have further complaints. He had the strike package and I think we all got was the gutter ball package. Before leaving some of my son’s guest complained of stomach pain. We thought that they had just had to much running and cake but I was mistaken. Both my son and girlfriend both came home and had extreme stomach discomfort and bowls. The night went on and I I began to as well. Yesterday both my girlfriend and son were both out ill due to nausea and diarrhea. I also heard from multiple parents that their kids were out of school due to food poisoning like symptoms. The only things we all had in common was pizza from your establishment. Pizzas were both under cooked and over cooked. The first pizza we received was burnt after being 30 minutes late and we got nothing other than sorry ....The morning crew doesn’t do anything for the night crew.” The party next to us had pizza cooked and sitting out way before they could even eat it! It was cold and burnt from what they told one of our guests parents. The next two were both rushed out of the oven to save face ( in my opinion ) and still doughy after delaying by opening presents. We were only told by both the front desk and concessions staff that no one really knows how to use the new oven. I understand you have a new oven but someone should be able to cook a dang pizza. Also cooking food all the way to not cause patrons to get sick should be a priority for anywhere that serves food. .... Especially those that paid over 200.00 to be there. I waited few day to see if I would get a response from the feedback or email I supplied but I see that was just a way to get addresses for mailing lists and not an actual wanting to improve experiences. Overall now I have a son who had what started out to be a great day with friends for his birthday end up with nausea and embarrassment. I end up with 6 free games of bowling and a day missed of work to take care of two sick people. All I got was sorry here is the bill. It’s my opinion that something other than taking one pizza that we never received was refunded. As a family we enjoy bowling but indefinitely don’t see us at your establishment again after this horrible experience.

They trusted that I was an honest person to let me go ahead and play first instead of waiting hours until the site was back up.

The family 8 game package is misleading and false advertising. I went with a group of 4 people and we are supposed to get 8 games for the group but little did we know that’s not the case. Apparently they do math differently and a group of 4 only gets 2 games. Yes that math works but it is shady and is almost a con.

Good sized bowling alley with 35+ lanes. Big enough for tournaments and corporate events. There's an event room, arcade games, on-site restaurant, and other nice to have entertainment. I went to a corporate event here with nearly 100 people and enjoyed my time. We shared maybe 10 lanes and when we were leaving people were still coming. It's in a decent location off the highway and within minutes of 540. It's not the newest facility but it's being maintained properly.

Buffaloe Lanes is a family friendly bowling alley and arcade. The kids had a blast on the lanes. The concessions was quite a dissapointment. Ordered a pepperoni pizza. It came completely doughy. Asked the employee to please re-make it and were told no. They microwaved the pizza and bright it out again. Still very under-cooked. So that was a loss. The arcade was fun at first. Many machines were out of order or would "eat tokens". The prize selection was sub-par, but that's not what counts. Overall its a great place to bowl!

Great place, great staff. Plenty of room, and yes they do cater to kids. They have racks and gutter guards for the little ones. There is also a fantastic game room that is NOT rigged for tickets like a lot of other places. Plenty of parking and fun at a great price.

I went to this location tonight and accidently left my wallet with over $600.00 in it on top of the token machine. An employee named Kendell returned my wallet with all the cash still in it. I couldn't believe it.. If I were anywhere else I might have found the Waller but it surely wouldn't have had the cash still in it. This employee needs to be recognized by management. Been coming here for years. Even if you have an issue with their pricing (we don't) they offer lots of discounts thru mail coupons, student cards, etc. Very family friendly. Our only "complaint" is they sometimes put groups with no kids right next to groups with multiple small kids even though there are plenty of free lanes available. They also have surprisingly great burgers and fries!!

This place has really gone downhill.. It used to be a great spot for adults to get together on Friday nights to do the midnite bowling, but has since turned into a circus with rowdy teenagers. A group of 4 of us decided to come out for a good time last night and it was anything but that. Teenagers beside us were abusing the lanes and unapologetically stepping into our lane because they were goofing off. It is one thing to have fun, and I know kids just wanna be kids, as well they should be, but they need to be more mindful. These kids had adult chaperones and they just sat there and continued to let them be disruptive. As far as the bowling alley itself and the employees, nobody could not hear the spotter and when you went to collect your prize, he would say he wasn't paying attention. At the end of the night our monitor said we had 5 minutes left to bowl, but the employee came down the lanes violently yelling at us to stop. Again the Mic did not work so we didnt hear him. As an adult I do not appreciate some kid yelling at me like I'm one of these rambunctious teenagers. It is unprofessional! My advice to you, get a new microphone, sync your monitors to the time the spotter has and perhaps let adults have lanes away from teenagers. Will not be back if this is what I should expect.

People working there are super nice, they offer good food, they have alot of kids bowling balls so it was nice to not see them fight over that at least.. and at the end spent time at their games area.
