Mervin Graber's review don't tell all I was working the day he came in and yes we had trouble with the ball return which sometimes happens can't be helped I offered him some free time on his games he didn't want it I gave him a sincere apology and even gave him some free passes so we are not that bad of a place to come to.

The only reason these people arent out of business is because theres nothing else to do in Forest City. Ball return machine didnt work, chipped and broken balls, and bad customer service are among the reasons I would advise my worst enemy to stay away from this place.

The only reason I'm doing this is for everyone else's benefit. I give this place one star because you have to give it at least one star to post anything. We had a great time up until it was time to pay at the end of the night. I'll start by saying that when I called down there they told me that each game was $3 a game and a pair of shoes was $2.50. When we arrived they charged me $4.50 for a pair of shoes which I didn't really mind I thought to myself whatever the games are only $3 a piece. We had a great time, got our stuff together because the place was closing. Went to go pay and the guy told me that it was going to be $24.50 for the two games that we played. When I confronted the price of the games and how long we've been there he got to looking confused told me that he would adjust the price and said just give me 12 dollars. I told him NO, that we had already paid for our shoes when we got there and you told me that it was only $3 per game and we only played two games. AT $3 PER GAME AND ONLY PLAYED TWO GAMES IT SHOULD ONLY BE $6 PLUS WHATEVER TAXES ADDED. Plus our lane kept hanging up and made our scores off. My point being that if you take your family here watch your wallet watch your money and do your math because they will try to rip you off.

This place needs a lot of repair. It's kind of run down and the lanes usually have some sort of problem, such as the pins not getting swept away.

Can't beat the $1 games on Monday to Thursday. The Lanes are maintained and the people who manage it are nice. Would recommend it.

I took my out of town granddaughters for a fun day of bowling and Autumn Lanes fit the bill. The facility is well maintained with plenty of lanes and arcade games as well. The menu has great variety, the food hot and tasty. There are rooms for parties and the restrooms are well stocked and clean.

A really old place but it's the only bowling alley in town so it's better than nothing. They have a ball shop but not sure if they drill balls anymore. They do have some for sale. We always have fun when we go here. They have dollar days Monday - Thursday,Cosmic bowling on Friday night & tons of leagues to join. On Saturdays there's always a birthday party going on with bumper bowling. House balls are very old & rough...maybe they'll update it one day...

Dollar nights make bowling with a large group affordable. Kids always have fun, however, it's frustrating for them when the pins don't reset or something gets 'stuck' and you have to wait on an attendant to run behind the scenes to fix it. It seems Everytime we go we have trouble with one of our lanes. This last time we played 3 games and had to ask for help atleast 3 times. Just a little annoying. Otherwise, the facility is kept pretty clean, and I love that you can select individual players that want gutter guards up without making everyone have to play with them

Well, it's a bowling alley. If you bowl it's a good place to go. There's a small arcade section. My son and I like to play the hunter game. You can shoot a game of pool, too. I suck but it's fun. They serve food as well.

I live in New Iberia Louisiana and I made a train trip to Rutherfordton North Carolina to visit my daughter and we went go play two games at Autumn Lanes. Nice bowling balls to choose from, scoring is done automatically and a pleasant place to spend some time.

In serious need of some updates. Taking debit/credit payments would be one of those. So inconvenient to have to go to the atm before coming. Of course you can use their on-site atm, but the fees are ridiculous.

The ally is cool but, the holes for the bowling balls are way too small. Also while we were there, three kids about 17 or 18 walked in and one of them clearly had a joint roll on his ear "Weed", need more security.
