This is a decent bowling alley in the cut in Cary. Instead of the normal seating for lanes they have tables. Nothing too fancy but an overall decent experience. The people here are nice. My family went and it wasn't too crowded like it can be at other bowling alleys in the area.

We had a Birthday party for my daughter today at AMC and everyone working there was amazing! They had everything ready for us when we got there, we had our own section and someone to help us when we needed. The kids and parents alike all had a great time! I would absolutely have another party there and our friends will too. Great job!!

Very clean and seemingly revamped bowling alley. They host different clubs. Is conveniently located near a lot of restaurants and shopping so you can be out and about or kill some time waiting for a lane to open.

Very nice updates to this AMF! Lanes have new controls system that was very easy to use, and had fun animated sequences. There were some large projector screens out on the lanes showing videos for the music. Not sure if those can do TV on those screens? Has brand new furniture and people at the desk, snack bar and bar were ALL great. Snack bar had great chicken tenders and saw a LOT of pizzas going out to other tables. I saw a gameroom too from a distance, with lots of people using it, looked like some had pool queues and I think I saw air hockey and some arcade games?

This is your typical, old-school bowling alley. They have league bowling, family nights, "disco" nights (which black lights and music) and stuff like that. Decent snack bar food. They have a small arcade. Bar. The staff is nice. They could probably use a renovation but I don't see that happening. Fun, but don't expect anything fancy.

Tuesdays are advertised as being open until 2 am. Apparently they changed their hours to 1 am, that’s fine. But my boyfriend and I came in at 11 pm (because the staff told us this was when $5 all you can bowl started) and we were told that they were closing at midnight because “the manager needs to cut payroll.” This is absolutely ridiculous, and should not be left up to a manager to decide when to close early. This is how you lose business.

Older place, but has electronic score keeping. Staff are friendly and helpful. Snack bar inside, but not always open when alley opens. Had to ask staff if someone could open up the snack bar.

The alleys were clean and the atmosphere was great, the food was good, the only thing I would say is they do not have any deals, no night deals, no large group party deals and you have to pay per game for ever person who wants to play and that is why I give it 4 stars. I wish they had better deals for groups and not charge per game.

Nice place to take the family for some indoor fun. We used a group on offer to get 2 hours of bowling for 4 of us with shoe rental for $34. Can't beat that! Unfortunately, the place is pretty run down and the lanes are in rough shape and in need of repairs. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and if the lanes were in better shape this rating would have been a 4-star.

We had an awesome time at AMF Lanes! The shoes were clean (I usually have my own) but, we decided last minute to go bowling while we were already out. While this place is still big, it is a little smaller than what I am accustomed to. Nonetheless, the selection of bowling ball sizes were readily available. The food and drinks were tasty. Nice, comfortable atmosphere, restrooms were clean. I liked the fact they had pool tables. My apologies, for not taking pictures to post due to last minute planning. Next time, I will be better prepared.. We will definitely return again.. Oh, and did I say; it is very affordable!! Even for those who may be on a tight budget. I have recommended and will continue to do so. You should visit!! Go ahead!

Tuesdays are $5 per person with unlimited games. Offer on Tuesdays starts at 10pm (place closes at 2am). They do turn off the lights inside around 10:30pm and it just makes the atmosphere feel even better while you bowl. It's a chill place and the staff are very nice and helpful. There is alcohol and food you can order if you are in need of some food or refreshments. Definitely a good spot to hang out with friends on a Tuesday. Other days must be just as good but the $5 per person deal with unlimited games is a must for us.

They say they close depending on if it's busy or not but they only say that because they don't want to work. A big group of friends checked the closing time online said 11pm we got there around 7:30 and they said they were closing. I called later that night around 10 and they answered the phone and told me they were getting ready to leave because they no one had gone in to play. And said it depends on the season so.sometimes they close sooner then other. He made no sense. Go to buffaloe lanes instead it's WAYYY better

It’s very affordable. They have food options and a bar, but the system for having to wait if there aren’t enough lanes isn’t the best. You basically just have to come back later. But Monday’s are a great time to go because it’s $12 unlimited bowling.

Pricing is a bit high compared to other establishments. Bartender wasn't really sure what went in what. Music selection is great. Lane 8 is broken at the time of this review and the ball will get stuck and not make it to the return. Had to switch lanes. All in all, not bad. Not too crowded either. Will return again.

It was a good experience with the family when we eventually got lanes. We were going with a group and were told to just show up but turns out there was a league playing which reduced the available lanes. Better coordination and communication would have been great (both staff and group leader). Staff were friendly and overall, the place was clean. Definitely an average bowling alley, and was okay for our evening. Would recommend as long as you're not expecting any frills.

One of the best kept bowling lanes I've ever bowled on. Lanes are oiled frequently and the ball return doesn't scratch your ball. Food service is very slow though.

The staff are really friendly and helpful with scheduling and planning events. I called a couple of days in advance and they worked with me to get lanes reserved with no hassle or trouble. They are also flexible if you have uncertainty about group size when planning an event, which was really helpful. The location is clean and well maintained, the atmosphere is good and the food is tasty and convenient. Highly recommend!

Went on a Sunday after 6, so $2.50 games is nice. Not a bad deal. Lanes look like they haven't been touched since 1980. Went to bar for beer, was only person in there. Bartender took 3 minutes to even acknowledge me. Probably because there were headphones in. I asked for specials, there was no verbal communication, just handed a flyer. Overall okay experience, customer service skills weren't shown. Will probably be back.

Only one person working behind counter on a Friday night. Waited 10 minutes for a lane and shoe rental. Ordered food as soon as we got there. 20 minutes later we got lukewarm burgers and fries. Bartender would not give me a cup of water with the two beers I ordered because she was "too busy". Was told to get back in the 6 deep food line to get water. We don't go bowling often, but when I do, we won't go back here.

This location is a rip off. We visited during one of their "premium" charge periods, a Saturday night, and were charged $4 for shoe rental, $6 per game of bowling, and $6 for a bottle of Corona. Who charges $6 for a bottle of Corona? Mark up of 600%. Two games of bowling, one beer, $22. On a date? $44. With a family of four? $88. Also, the set up with small square tables is exceedingly awkward, constantly walking around people crammed in next to you on all sides, and no where to put your shoes or bowling ball bags. I'll never understand why bowling alleys got rid of the semi-circle seating around the ball return. The tables suck. It was also a pain that you have to prepay for every game you want to play. So if you finish a game, and decide to play another, you can't just start to play and pay for your total at the end. No, you have to go stand in line again, and prepay for your second game. I guess they've had people walk out and not pay, so they make everyone suffer the consequences. We did like the music videos they were showing on two big screens on late Friday night. Good atmosphere, but the place was a rip off, so we won't be back. Much cheaper to bowl in other places around the Triangle. Seems to be a Cary teen hangout, however, so I'm sure they will be able to stay in business with clientele who pay with Dad's money, not their own.

The outside of the building is nice and freshly painted. The inside, however, much to be desired. Went there for a birthday party for some kids and got a lane for the parents and smaller children to bowl whilst waiting for the birthday party. The lane we were in was a little warped as you could see the ball hit a crack/seam in the floor and tumble a new direction, albeit, it was a slow roll, by a kid, but nonetheless. The sweat fan, the one for your hand(s), didn't work at all. The generic balls for everyone are mostly chipped and apparently they don't have enough for a Saturday, the staff had to go to the lanes to ask if we were using our balls since they, I guess, didn't have enough. The bumpers for the little ones are manual, so if you have a few non bumper people and a bumper person, you'd have to play with bumpers the whole time or call the guys over to raise the bumper each time the bumperer was up. Calling the guys over is no easy task as well, with everyone congregating around the service desk in an un-orderly fashion. The software used for setting up the bowlers is like version 1, so it is dated AF and not very intuitive and having to stand there and enter each user one by one. Our lane even had the users that had previously used the lane so we had to go and delete those users first or rename them to get started. The restrooms are iffy and seem'd dingy, the urinals aren't separated by a wall, so it's somewhat awkward. If you are looking to go bowling with children and don't mind not drinking alcohol, Buffalo Lanes is much better with a more updated experience. Just under $80 for 5 people 2 games each with shoes.

This place is very dirt and smells inside. Floors are sticky when trying to bowl. Only two people working in the whole place and they are too busy eating behind the counter. Way to expensive shoes and 2 games cost $100 for a family of 4. Horrible place and staff. There are better places to bowl

I saw that this place had less stars than other bowling alleys but thought how bad could it be. I realized the moment I walked up to the counter that the low rating was not just a result of a few irate customers. There were two people behind the counter without a line when I got there, but when I walked up she looked at my party right in the face then turned away when we asked to get started. Then, without any explanation walked away. We just stood there wondering what had just happened. Finally, she came back with someone else. Then, he was okay and at least spoke to us. We went to our lane and tried to get started and the lane had no light on or pins. We sat and waited. Then, we called someone and waited, talked to someone and waited. This went on for about 20 minutes until we finally got up to leave. We returned our shoes and explained to the employee who thought we had bowled already our situation. The only thing we got was a shrug and "sorry". Possibly the worst experience I have had as far as services goes for anything in this area. I personally think it's worth driving out of the way if you want to go bowling, because you really may not even be able to bowl if you come here. Just an unpleasant experience all around. I am sure I was not an anomaly since they were rude from the moment I walked in. My recommendation is go somewhere else to bowl or might as well even just go watch a movie at crossroads instead of this place.

Old school bowling alley, practically straight out of the movies. #KingPin Friendly staff, full bar, cocktails and beer. Decent daily specials. They have an arcade game room and large selection of balls (giggle). Weekly leagues for the weekly professional. Games can get pricey on the weekend nights, but it’s a safe place with tons of people watching value. Highly recommended for some low key fun.

It was ok. The lane didn't work at first but, they handled it immediately. The food was decent but not great. The atmosphere was cool. Your typical Saturday lady's night event. Dark, black light, loud music, entertainment. The prices were a little steep but, understandable. I would def go again!

Great facility if you want you bowl. Recent improvements bring it up to a better than many level

Decent Lanes, not as nice as Buffaloe Lanes but it seems like management is trying to improve things. The Leagues are reasonably price and some of the staff is great. They are very friendly and do their best to make sure you're having a good time.
