This is the best bowling alley on Staten Island. It’s very super convenient for me because I walked from my house to the bowling alley without taking a public transportation like city bus. The staff treated us so nicely we went bowling today for 2 hours. The only thing that is expensive is the food court for the bowling alley it’s expensive sobI had to go to Wendy’s it cost less than the Rab’s bowling alley. They need to lower the prices down for the food court in the bowling alley. I hope I could go bowling again by myself in the future.

I love coming here. Haven't had one problem coming here in all the years of been here. Genero's has some phenominal pizza so you don't have to worry about leaving if you're hungry but still want to bowl. The staff is friendly, everything is kept clean, the cosmic experience is out of this world.

This place is perfect for birthday parties, social events or even work events! They are so accommodating and helpful. They set up the party room so quickly and it came out beautifully! Even the guy making pizza I think his name was John, was so sweet and made me a calzone and it came out perfect even better then other pizzerias! They have accessible bathrooms and a huge parking lot. Even a bar for those who want to have an adult bowling night ;). I highly recommend this place.

Greatest place on earth for adult bowling. Killer pizza fresh off the brick, excellent bar menu anf the staff is always attentive and awesome at making sure we have the best experience. I have gone here for both, date nights and a corporate outings. I highly recommend Rab's Country Lanes for both.

There is ample parking here, although when I was there half the carpark was being re-paved. There are many well-kept lanes. When I was there they had half the place for “Galaxy-themed” lanes, which was pretty cool. The machines cleared the fallen pins and refreshed the set really quickly. To me that tells me this place is well-maintained. Lane guards and “dino-tails” are available for children.

Staff was more then friendly and accommodating. Food is, well, bowling alley food; and the facility is clean over all. I just don't understand why I was sliding all of the place in my bowling shoes, regardless of the surface. I swapped my shoes 3 times and ended had the same result. It prevented me from bowling correctly, almost hurt myself on a number of occasions. It wasn't until I decided to take my shoes off and bowl in my socks(yes I know it's a "no no") that I had an enjoyable bowl. I'm assuming this has something to do with the cleaning agent on the shoes. If my bowling still sucked after I took the shoes off I'd say I was just making excuses, but never have I ever taken a step forward in bowling shoes and almost fell over because the shoes slid out from under me.

Always a good time at rabs. However, I believe the people who run this place are true businessmen, they like to skip out on many things to save money, and like to charge more for less. The lanes are nice, but they really could be better for the real bowlers out there.

We went for 2 bowling games which went pretty quick. We also got 2 free food vouchers the pizza was awsome. The guy even let us get a mini upgrade with our voucher. They were very nice. We initially thought we had 4 games but that was just miscommunication. They even offer you 10 dollars off on your birthday and 5 off just for signing up to there loaylty card. Wish they had healthier (tasty) food options on the menu. 4.5 stars.

I understand there are leagues and lanes for open bowling are limited BUT we were told there would be a 45 minute wait for a lane. We waited for 45 minutes, went back up to the desk and were told to wait another 10 minutes. Then the group who's lane we would have gotten extended their time another hour so we were told exactly what happened. So it doesn't matter that we just waited 45 minutes like we were told, we would have had to wait the extra hour if we wanted to bowl. "There's nothing we can do". Umm yes tell the group there's equal paying customers that have been waiting a long time for a lane. Absolutely ridiculous. Wasted an hour of my life doing nothing. The worker was not even apologetic at all. So pissed.

RIP OFF!!! I took my two kids to bowl a few games on Good Friday and I asked how much was it for one lane for two bowlers for 1 hr. I was told $22.00. When they ring me up the total was $35.00. It turns out they never tell you that we had to pay for shoes. What a RIP OFF, these are kids bowling. No wonder bowling alleys across the country are closing. Maybe next time I'll use my own balling ball , setup some bottles filled with water and have my kids roll the ball towards the water bottles in front of the house or better yet take my $70.00 (including food) somewhere else.

I love this place. You might think a bowling alley is a bowling alley but this place is much cooler than that! It's really an entertainment center. Bowling is super fun. And they have a really nice bar with pool table and they do karaoke on certain nights. The owner, Frank is such a nice guy. He really goes the extra step to make sure his guests are taken care of and that everyone has a great time. Think of them for your next day out with the kids, night out with friends or a private party! You'll be happy you did!

The location is nice, clean, and fun. However, there was one lady at counter that was not customer friendly at all. Not just to my family, but to people on other lanes. She yelled at one girl for having water at table next to monitor and kept manually removing guards because she was angry that adults would bowl with them up. Kids were crying because their ball would go straight to gutter since she would remove and not put back up in time... shame on her!

It has been too long since when I came to Bowl. And after our last visit to Rab's we all agreed we should do it more often. Well maintained, clean and reasonable pricing. If you are considering, just do it.

Good for leagues. Open bowling is limited on weekdays. Call ahead. I think weekends have more open availability at night. Paid for an hour, only got 45 minutes before a league started. So wait until leagues are over.

I have a 16 year old niece with Autism and finding just the right place for her Sweet 16 could have been very difficult but she loves to bowl and my sister & brother in law bring her to Rab's Lanes often and she had grown to love it and become very comfortable there. During her Sweet 16 with about 50 people in a private room her birthday was a success.The entire staff was wonderful and so was the food. Thank you all for making her day so very special. Her Sweet 16 was a year ago my niece has just turned 17 and we'll be back at Rab's Lanes again on Saturday 4/20/19 can't wait to see the joy on her face again.

We booked a party for 14 for a birthday and everything was going well. Our host was really nice and attended to us at all times. While we was bowling, the manager came to our lanes and told us we couldn't drink there and proceeded to call up front and shut us down with 30 minutes left in the clock. When we went up to the desk to find out why he did that, he got very nasty with us and wouldn't answer our question. The security guard (nice Spanish guy went to talk to him and tell him that we booked a party there) then he turned our lanes back on with only 4 minutes left. When I approached him, I politely asked him to go apologize to my children for being so rude, he ignored me and called the cops on me. We still had 1hr at the party room left, but we was told to hurry up and pack our food and leave bc the police was coming. This party cost us almost $1,000 and was treated terrible by that manager. Will NEVER book a party there again.

This place used to be pretty good. For over a year they've been going down hill. Bad customer service, especially from the owners of the establishment. There are a few very nice, hard working employees. The "heads" on the other hand ignore you waiting for service, and also reply with a snotty attitude. Better off going to show place.

A very adequate place and a comfortable setting for family gatherings. On a regular evening, you shouldn't expect an overpowering noise level let alone and overcrowded venue (unless your going for Cosmic bowling or on a day where they are hosting a lot of birthday parties). Which speaking of, attending Rabs on a Cosmic bowling night is not a bad idea, primarily because it is a delightful experience and I happen to enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, it is a well worth experience, however, the food is not worth the price, I would definitely recommend eating before you arrive. Besides that everything else is a pleasurable experience.

Great place to go bowling or just hang out. You can go there for breakfast. They have a large variety of food. They have vending machines for icecream, drinks and snacks. They have a bowling store where you can buy anything you need for bowling. They have a laser tag room. They also have arcade games. Customer service is pleasant. Place is always crowded. They have cosmic bowling which is nice. Place is kept clean. The only thing I dont like is I feel its very expensive. One hour bowling is $32 and to rent shoes is $6. They have different options but they also are expensive. It cost us $62 just to bowl and that's not including drinks or food.

I love that they have great pricing. We actually had a party there. Instead of doing a birthday party room, we did fun packs. I actually called and made the reservation on the phone. Next day when I was there, they couldn't find the reservation which is why it is one star down. But I have to be fair, they did accomodate us. We had such fun with 6, 10 years olds, 5 5 years olds and 5 adults. We got 3 lanes and pizza was delicious.

Bowling atmosphere is nice and clean, my only issue is that during cosmic bowling, you can’t really see the arrows on the floor for the best shot while bowling. I recommend going during regular hours and not to cosmic bowling, it just adds a bigger challenge. Besides that, it’s the best bowling ally in a while and I wouldn’t pick any other over it.

A large, clean bowling alley with about forty-eight lanes. There is a pool room, snack bar and large parking lot. The place was very crowded when we went (due to a tournament). The staff was friendly and helpful and the prices are about average. If I didn't bowl in Queens, I'd be a regular patron.

Our lane broke down, but the manager paused our hour, gave us an extra five minutes over what we had lost, AND paused our hour again when our pizza came so we could have 20 minutes to dig in while it was hot. Our 20 minute wait for a lane on a Saturday night 9pm primetime was closer to 3 minutes. Excellent customer service all around. I just wish there was slightly less oil on the lanes :)

Well kept and well maintained. Good selection of balls up to 15 pounds and multiple finger hole sizes. Shoes are in good condition, but I think they were 8 dollars to rent, which seems expensive. Lanes can be rented for $20 an hour during daytime hours, but check the website or call ahead to make sure there is no league bowling.

Rabs country lanes is a great place to go to have fun bowling anytime, plenty of parking, they keep their lanes in perfect shape, always incredibly clean, it really is apparent that they care about you having a good time while your there, Everyone working there seems very friendly, Full service pro shop, always friendly. Theres a bar tucked out of the way thats got couple of pool tables, nice atmosphere to grab a drink. They have multiple rooms to rent for parties, birthdays, they have a very decent snack bar, food food, great fries, and theres a pizzeria in there, everything to keep everyone nicely fed, decent prices for the food and for the bowling, they have a variety of bowling packages for everyone, some come with food, so there’s something fun for everyone ,any age, to do there. The Cosmic bowling is cool. There are only two alleys left on staten island, rabs and showplace, I’ve been to both and I much more prefer rabs, just a much , much better experience. IMO

This place is a Staten Island staple. I have been coming here as a child for school trips, family trips, summer camp, and everything inbetween. The lanes are great, the staff amazing and so friendly. This place is great for little kids with their bumpers and dinosaur bowling ball chutes. Be sure to your winning strike here.
