This Bowling Alley is classified in the category of Bar & grill.
The service and food was very good (had hamburgers). Happy hour margarita was great too!
Good food, decent beer selection, and local flavor.
Nice atmosphere
Good local food. I like their Nachos, and margaritas.
My favorite place so far in Taos for food, music and drinks. Service could be better but it's a locals watering hole and I am a "tourist" so I understand that too.
One of the best green Chile cheeseburgers I’ve ever had. Only complaint is the organization of the restaurant. Even during a busy dinner rush, they still let people seat themselves and don’t have a host. It was very unorganized which led to a couple next to us being kicked out of their seats even after they had been there for 15 min without service.
Love the fish and chips! The building is one of the oldest in town. Love Taos!
The food was okay. There were cockroaches around the kitchen and the bathrooms. We told the waitress but she just look away and rush off from the table. She barely check in on the table after we mentioned the roaches.
Live music- great food- off the square. It was really good. Sunday might jazz was awesome!
The menu includes something for everyone, from fish & chips to enchiladas and salads. A British friend loved the fish & chips, which is high praise! Very good bartenders and mixed drinks. Good happy hour. They serve food all day - no closing between lunch and dinner.
What a horrible dining experience. At first the wait staff were attentive, till the first drink. After that, nothing. The food was served cold and the flavor was mediocre at best. Avoid this restaurant.
Every time I am in Taos I stop there. Last weekend was no exception. Good food, drinks and I like the atmosphere.
Enjoyable and unpretentious joint to get your cocktail on at.
Food was fairly good and the outdoor seating was nice however staff did not enforce the no smoking rules they had posted. It made it pretty unpleasant to sit and eat while an entire table smoked the entire time. Margaritas are small for $9. Our waitress complained about how they hated waiting on the patio because it was to far from the kitchen and was pretty short with us. She definitely seemed like she had better things to do. The manager? Head waitress? was the exact same way. Wouldn’t recommend
Great bar, great food, great location
It was snowy and a little early for lunch spits to open, but we followed the wonderful smells to this historic restraunt. Smelled so good we waited the 20 minutes for them to open and glad we did! Atmosphere, service and food were all excellent. The red chili is very complex and the green chili is on the super hot side (when eaten in a bowl, on fries it was milder). Will be going back for sure!
Great food good atmosphere good drinks..owner went out of his for us..a must while in taos..
The service was friendly and competent. Very enjoyable time. Excellent food. Very spicy!
Awesome daily happy hour 5-7. Half off drinks! Amazing atmosphere!
Pretty horrible actually. I got some scowls as soon as I walked in as if the people said "what are you doing here". I was trying to celebrate my last day being 21 but this place is definitely a no go. Never again.
Great place to hang out and eat.
This was a fun place for lunch. The food was good, service excellent and cool inside.
It's always good... nice people too!
Yummy food, oldest building in Taos!
It was OK - Deli sliced turkey on the panini, undercooked fries. Service was friendly.
Great local vibe. Super fun pool and shuffle board. Open mic night was rockin.
Great tasting food & the service was awesome!
Loved the beef enchiladas!! Blue corn tortillas and shredded beef...delicious!
Live music good. Small dance area. One pool table
Great food, friendly, helpful service. Try the onion rings!
Nice atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I love their salsa, and I had a blue corn chicken enchilada plate that was fantastic. Restaurants like this are my favorite thing about living in New Mexico.
I love this place. Definitely a restaurant that you want to visit in Santa fe.
Awesome food. Burgers good and the burrito was fantastic . #localspot
Very slow service. Understaffed. It took for ever to get food and check.
Had the red chili stew, it was delicious and hearty. Nice atmosphere with live music.
Amazing vibe. Will definitely come back when i'm in town next
I had the cheese steak which was on a hamburger bun instead of the traditional bun. Not much flavor and not very good but the fries were good. My girlfriend had a burrito which she said was very good. The pitcher of ice tea was mostly ice and tasted like ice water.
Our waitress was so ridiculously horrible... Had to flag her down to get drinks, she wasn't even that busy. Wish I had her name so I could post it...
Tourist barits a nice place.good entrtainment
Best, most crammed and packed serving of Nachos. Nice size of Guac and Sour Crm on top. I would create a list of suggestions for people that order this, it would be fun, and it should include a foam saver at the beginning so the customer could save exactly what they want. Bartender was quite cute, and one of the waiters was the size of Shrek.
Always stop here when in town. Love the food and music. We've also been to a couple music shows. The old architecture is wonderful my daughter loves to hear ghost stories.
Food is great service is fair.
Great place to eat. The food is amazing, gotta try the coconut chicken fingers, they are to die for. This place is the spot to hit up for some good cold drinks and some hot awesome food. The atmosphere is great, the 400yr old building is cool and sets u back to the old west days. Five stars
The food and environment is great I just didn't like that one bartender kicked me out because I told him I was too drunk to drink and only wanted food
We had great service! Jessica was working hard, but kept checking on us and taking care of us. The food was excellent. It's a little hard to find (check walking directions) but well worth it! Part of the restaurant is the oldest building in Taos.
Dog friendly, shaded, non-smoking patio section equipped with did bowls with water for
Live music every night!... beautiful patio section and locale fare! We opted to check out on a weekend during a local artist's set of jazz and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!... totally worth a visit if you're in the area!
Awesome food and atmosphere! The staff is exceptional as well! Must stop!
Great little bar. Only place in Taos open past 10. Shuffle board and pool table are a blast. Live music sounds fantastic in this cozy setting. Love it! Can't wait to go back!
The Alley Cantina is a great place for a filling lunch and a lot of food variety. Our Server, Ashley, was extremely kind and the service is amazing. It is a one stop shop for Local Cuisine and Amazing food
Service good and tucked in the heart of Taos.
Great friendly local people. Great happy hour also.
Fun atmosphere. We had margaritas and played pool while we were waiting for something. Will definitely get food next time.
Fun space just off Taos Plaza in oldest structure in Taos, dating back to 1600's. Chili stew with Pork and Green Sauce was great. Just right amount of spice.
667 review. Beautiful- Seen a few gorgeous woman here. Incredible.
This place is terrible. Bad food, atmosphere, and staff. My dad ordered wings and found some kind of food in his ranch. Then I ordered a philly cheese steak, which was about the farthest thing from one. The steak was pulled pork and was gross. Everything was bland and wet. The fries and bread were soggy. The staff refused to listen when we told them about the pork. There were smokers right next to us, so we were inhaling their smoke the whole dinner. With no care about us. The patio was dirty and smelly. Terrible place. Would not recommend!!
The atmosphere is nice, however it can be a long wait for only subpar food. I am used to Mexican food from Colorado which I understand is different than New Mexico style food. However, the soft tacos and guacamole I ordered were so bland, I considered adding salt. The salsa had no flavor. The only thing worth eating were the beans. We were pretty disappointed.
Oldest building in taos! Great salsa!
No services for 20 minutes so we left. Tables were left dirty with no one to.clean it. Kitchen seemed messy. Do not recommend, bathroom very dirty too
You can't go wrong with the food here. Unique location and good service.
Nice bar n had tons of fun.
Their beer battered mushrooms are divine
Great food and staff
Nice atmosphere and great food!
When you’re in Taos, give this place a miss! Extremely rude staff, average food and filthy bathrooms. We ate here 8 years ago during our New Year’s vacation and we were excited to go back. A lot has changed in the past 8 years, and it’s not a good change. There are plenty of good restaurants in Taos! Don’t waste your time or money at this place.
Always a good time. All of the staff are friendly, and the food and drink are top notch!
Some great staff, and generally the best fish'n chips (or my choice, onion rings!) around.
Less then average food and service. For all this the waitress added a generous tip by herself.
The shows are great, the staff is wonderful, well priced menu selection, and it's open late!
Fun place, load however but the drinks were good.
The very best enchiladas are made here and service is great
Friendly staff, chill atmosphere!
our fave eating place in Taos
Here from East Tennessee, culture shock. Cold beer has fixed that, yum.
Daaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnn. That’s gooood food!
Food was great, waiter was kind of a jerk to my grandma and the outside was filled with smokers I'd try it again but ill come when i see a different waiter
Place frequented by the locals. Food is superb! The fish & chips are excellent, onion rings are outstanding! Live music as well. Fun, easy atmosphere.
Nice menu selection.
Half price Happy Hour on all alcohol. Green chili pork stew and chicken tortilla soup were both outstanding choices. Look forward to trying other menu options.
Awesome bar great service.
We needed a close, quick place for dinner. The service was quick, the server was very friendly, and the food was quite tasty. We had a slight problem with the dessert which was resolved very quickly.
10/10 would recommend best nachos I've had
Food was good but not great. Noisy and a table near our family used the f word frequently.
We swung by on a whim and were very satisfied with the food and service. Dont let them fool you though the chili is not hot but very tasty.
Always good service and food in a historic location.
Great food and even greater server!!
Reese Witherspoon is the waitress and she was awesome
The menu changed since last i was there.i appreciated the more authentic new mexico food that it used to have. The food was not good. They Also didn't have anyone to greet you or sit you down so we waited 20 minutes and had to go up to the bar to order. This used to be a historic classy restaurant. Now it's pretty much a runned down bar which is a shame because the historical significance of this place should be respected.
I'm a local and its different everytime. This place treats tourists better than locals for some odd reason.
Great food, great service, awesome place.
Good nachos and soups, stews. Service was laid back, friendly.
8 dollar cover and the beef nachos are wack
Fun place to sit and a lite snack
Great food and atmosphere.
Great food, atmosphere, and friendly staff! Try the carne adovada.
Such a comfortable place to have a beer or glass of wine, Aaron was so accommodating with our special needs family member, called him Champ all evening long-we loved it! Great fish and chips and exceptional chili relleno! Thanks for a great experience.
Cool place, it seems. Was there on a Monday night to play music, and was v authorized by the crowd, was focused on playing and did not take advantage of all the amenities that could be available. I did like the atmosphere, and the staff was quite friendly and welcoming as out was the first time I had been there.
A very old area and great food. So much history here!
Fabulous. Proof you have to go inside to find the beauty that awaits
Great food and speedy staff.
Brought the dog, great food, cold beer!
Good good with a pet friendly patio.
Food was average tasting and overpriced. Bathrooms were disgusting. Fun atmosphere. Waitress was nice. But what really got me was how rude the bartender was. Probably won't be back.
Quick service, AMAZING Green Chile and an adorable little patio alley way to enjoy your meal on. Portions were generous and delicious!
Friendly service and good food
Originally from Colorado so went to visit Taos. Loved the atmosphere at this restaurant in addition to the music. My tacos were so good and our waitress was friendly. Great Service!
Amazing as usual...great food, service, atmosphere, and prices!
The food was pretty okay and prices reasonable. The waitress pushed back on letting us split checks in what seemed kind of like an unreasonable excuse. After talking through the excuse she let us split the ticket into 5 checks, but I would have appreciated not having to argue for basic service.
Always a favorite stop when in Taos! Love the nacho plate!
Best place for food, drinks and music any day of the week
Stopped here on the way out of Taos. Nice outdoor patio, but smoking in at least part of the patio is permitted, so if the smell of cigarette smoke while you are eating/drinking grosses you out I'd recommend to eat inside. I actually REALLY liked this place. We went during happy hour which ends at 7PM. Drinks half price
Yummy margaritas and perfect spot for happy hour.
Delicious food and the sangria is tasty. The vibe during the day is laid back, and it's a happening place during happy hour and when there's live music.
I usually never write bad reviews. But we were rushed, hostess was rude and very "fake". The food wasnt worth the price. Flys everywhere. If hostess was nice it could have been decent
Fun place, but how about a little upgrade to everything.
Great drinks awesome history
Great tamale and cold beer with a friendly server. This place was a great stop while shopping in Taos.
More laid back than I expected. Cool live music. Seems to be mostly locals - maybe I stood out as an out-of-towner, but this is the only place really open late in Taos. I stopped by 15 years ago and this year - it really hasn’t changed at all. :)
I ordered the fish and chips and specifically asked if there was spice in the sauce, I was told no, I was not told about the spice in the fish breading...
Nachos were fantastic. Chicken Tenders were awesome as well.
Great food, nice happy hour, and friendly, quick service.
Had the best waitress, love the character of this hostorically signicant restaurant, really enjoyed our happy hour!
Excellent burgers and happy hour deals.
Consument dive bar... great service .. good drinks... great music... would go out of my way to visit... food top notch
Food was delicious. Buffalo wings were hot, hot and hot. Service a little slow, but wait staff was nice.
Good watering hole
Great food everyone in our party seemed to enjoy the food. The history is awesome if you like that kind of thing
Very comfortable restaurant.
We stopped in for lunch. The food was fantastic and the service was super friendly. This place has some really cool history and great atmosphere as the oldest extant building in Taos. If you're thirsty, they take care of you!
This place is a nice place to have a drink and meet friends and enjoy a bit evening.
It's got a historic vibe
Wonderful staff and a great happy hour.
Let our pup dine with us on the patio.
Usually good but this time was very off. My man's fries were burnt and couldn't believe they left the kitchen or that the waitress served them. My salad had ice chars but I could overlook that. An expensive lunch with drinks and half eaten.
Had a great stuffed poblano dish here. Back alley location is quaint.
Great Music, fast drink service at bar. Waitress kind of slow. Order 2 drinks because it will be a min before she gets back to you
Great food, margaritas are off the chain!!!
The place to hang out. Fantastic Tacos
Historic beauty
Good food and dog friendly
Great fun good time
Always a good time
Loved this place, spent new years here. Loved the band they had. Katy p and the buiness. Could work on prettier bartenders. Lol
I Taos New Mexico the food is great as is the service
Fabulous find in historic Adobe house. Good margaritas, fast service, delicious food and incredible live music!!!!!!
I wouldn't eat here again, even if the food was free.
Live music, dancing, great food, and a fun atmosphere, loved it! If in Taos on a weekend evening while the band is playing this is worth a visit!
Good location, the pork alvarado was really good the tamales were meh.
The food was delicious and the service was great. I can see why they have so many great reviews. They have a full bar with great drinks. A pool table and other games. Good drink specials and a good range of food. Will definitely be back when we are in Taos.
Hot Spot! All I see is wild crazy fun!!! Good drinks , fun people!!
Good food, well priced
FOOD and SERVICE was EXCELLENT!!!
Food was pretty good and priced well. Service was quite slow and the smoke smell from the patio comes into the door and inside the restaurant.
Had a great time
We enjoyed our lunch. Loved the patio! Thanks for a good lunch.
This is one of the best restaurants in the day, and bar at night. Also very historical. Oldest bar in the United States
Horrible service. Our waitress was very bland and extremely rude. She did not attend to us very much and we were quite often left wondering where our server had went.. disappointing experience. This is definitely not a site for young crowds or young people in general. If you're elderly and don't care about horrible service than this is the place for you. Do not recommend to anyone. I would leave a zero if I could.
Great house Margarita and cool ambiance, due to the old history of the building (definitely read this on the menu). Service was just okay.
