I've bowled almost daily at holiday bowl for the past month or so bringing up my average and consistency with bowling. The lanes are expertly maintained and always perfectly oiled. I usually spend between 2 and 3 hours there with my friend. Both of us have purchased our balls from the pro shop with a very educated manager, paul. He fixed the damage done to my ball at lucky 66 and restored it to the point that it looked better than when I bought it. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and is always happy to cater to our every need. Always happy to bowl here. Well worth the time and money. Thanks for all you guys do!

Galactic bowling! Awesome 90's hip hop mixes of music! Saturday night open lanes, and no wait! I would've given this place 5 stars except the layout of the seats in the bowling area made it difficult to move around, and take turns with our group. Also, they didn't have prices by the game at the time we went. It was over $15/hr each person, so the price is a little higher than some other places. The foods is over priced as well imo.

I wish I could rate this a zero. I was not here for more than 30 minutes but immediately felt the rudeness of the staff. The bartender was very hostile and judgemental and she had no customer service skills at all. I immediately found out who the manager was and he offered no sympathy that we were being treated this way. I got a refund of over $90+ dollars because I'm not paying for terrible service. I'm sad this place used to be cool, I feel bad for telling my work friends to go here. Never again.

WOW! So in the last year maybe they did a complete remodel, I must say it is amazing! Great friendly staff visiting the lanes often to check on us for the 2 hrs we had a 5yr olds birthday party, the food is awesome, pulled pork potato skins are to die for! Gabe is a top notch waiter too. But he was not the only staff making sure we were taken care of!

I haven't been to this alley in years. I could tell from the outside that there had been some Renovations that weren't quite complete, but walking inside was still a surprise! Bright and open, lots of modern touches. But you can still see the iconic bowling alley behind it all. The arcade looks great, they have a very modern and easy to use score system. There our new seats and tables down by the bowling area, very comfortable and classy. The bar looks amazing, as does the pizzeria area. We ordered some baked hot wings, a pizza, and a brownie sundae. They were all great! They have really gone out of their way to make this a place where you can really enjoy yourself. I can't wait to see it when it's completely finished, because I won't wait for years to come back this time :-)

The newly updated building is beautiful. It feels more spacious on the lanes and less cramped. Love the bar/restaurant with better food than a snack bar. Staff is friendly and a server who comes to the lanes really limits unnecessary breaks. Best bowling alley! I'll certainly be back to this one!

Just awesome, friendly staff, fun games, excellent bowling experience. There's an arcade with a prize counter and a bar for drinks. You can grab a bite to eat while you bowl.

It is pricey but it is so much fun. Great place for families. Would recommend. Keep in mind then have leagues so there isn't always open bowling but other than that it's pretty good

This was my second time here and both times were pretty bad. I am an avid bowling enthusiast and bowl regularly at silva lanes and the two cannot be comparable. This place has been remodeled and looks great but the first time I was here they allowed a guy to be piss drunk and bother me because he is a regular and this time they said open bowling wasn’t possible because of practice without signs or having anything about it online. Lucky for me I don’t mind the drive to Silva

Was difficult while remodeling was going on, but now that it's nearly complete, it's very nice. The remodel included revamping the snack bar into more of a restaurant. At the same time, the quality of the food increased significantly... really stepped up their game. Staff is always friendly and personable.

Came here with my two kids, my husband and my brother. Bowling check-in/payment was easy and straight forward. We were put right next to another family even though there were many lanes available on either side of that family, so we asked to be moved and we were. Shoe sizing was easy and accurate to our normal shoe sizes. Food was okay. It was nothing spectacular, but it’s bowling alley food and not fine dining. I wish there were more options for vegetarians and vegans.

Not only was the food extremely expensive, but the service was horrid. I also got charged for a ticket that was not mine. I went back to get it fixed and have been waiting for more than an hour to be helped. The manager has told me multiple times that they’ll help me, but has yet to help me at all. Never ever coming back here again.

Every time I go to Holiday bowl I have an amazing experience. The general manager Freddy always makes sure your experience is a positive one. The games are affordable and the lanes are properly maintained and oiled. I recommend the 300 burger with cheese but none of their food is bad. If you can deal with a cowboys fan tending bar she's really pleasant and makes a great Long Island iced tea. Have fun and high scores.

Just thought people should know how fake this business is. Not only do they have rude employees. They only are open to keep it open for there dirty work. Meaning its a front business to make more money other ways. I mean the lowest of the low. To top off eve skidmore & Gary skidmore they have set up there own kids to go face charges to save them self. Keep kids young women ECT from this place / people to keep your family safe.

They charged us $85 for 7 people to play at one lane. There are places that charge much less for a lane (around $25). All the while the place is still under construction and no longer serves pitchers of beer. I would recommend going somewhere with a better value. We will no longer be visiting holiday bowl.

Newly renovated. Looks really nice! Come check it out! They have a great new bar, and open view gas oven. I got very good service and everybody was attentive to guests New cushy seating, but the tables between the seats makes it very crowded with little room to move around. I know another house in the Rio rancho area that would benefit hugely from a renovation like this place got. More building still happening, so more to see soon.

Not only is this place in a crappy run down area, but the wanna be cop and the fat bartender really have a problem! They don't know how to treat paying customers! I don't know who they think they are but we ended up getting our money back. We will never be back to this dump. We will make sure our friends and family know how crappy their service is as well. Improve your customer service and maybe people will actually come back and continue paying. I wish I could give 0 stars. This was a very negative experience.

Didn’t even make it in the door before some older man (who appeared to work there, but not sure,) stopped us to tell us that they had no lanes open due to league playing that night. That was fine, but then he started telling many aggressively rascist and sexist jokes inspite of our obvious discomfort with the situation and attempts to disengage. Will not be returning as this does not feel like a safe place.

I think its ridiculous they get to decide when they wanna close now even when there are regular customers there bowling. They should close according to the HOURS LISTED. When we go bowl there and we run out of time we have to go add more time and what do they add? 10 min, 5 min more to the game. Considering how much money we spend there its ridiculous we have to go there every 5 to 10 min to add more time to the game we havent finished, because they cant decide when they wanna close. It really ruins the game!

Its a great bowling alley! However I went during a time when the were renovating and really shouldn't have been open for business. They've torn out the parking lot making it very difficult for small cars to enter and exit I had to avoid large rocks sticking up from the soft dirt. The inside is getting an upgrade too! And SHOULD be great WHEN DONE, right now it's boarded up covered in plastic sheeting. And open for business meaning 40% of the inside is inaccessable and you have to walk on partially built floors. It's still a great place, just call first to see what kinda shape the renovations are in.

The new bar is abysmal if you just want to get a drink. It reminds me of those Smith's grocery stores that also have a bar. There is no separation from the bowling alley and it is far too lit too promote drinking. I used to like the old setup but I will not be back.

This place has undergone major renovation. The restaurant is unbelievably freaking awesome. The food is not bowling alley fried food. It is spectacular, highly suggest the Philly Cheese Steak fries, or the fire oven baked pizza. Absolutely fabulous. Along with excellent customer service

The place looks great, but the service is way too long. As I am sitting here (as of now), been waiting for over a hour for service. Hey mistakes happen, we are glad to wait, but if you quote us 2 minutes and its passing the hour and a half mark, just tell us. I'm not telling people not to come here, but if you do, bring your own food and entertainment.

Sometimes I'll hang out in Bowling alley bars on a weekday afternoon without ever bowling just because that's one of the most depressing places to be. However the newly remodeled Skidmore's Holiday Bowl is actually kind of a nice place to go regardless of the usual bowling alley atmospherics. There's a surprisingly good selection of local beers on draught that isn't the usual Bud and Miller Lite. Also the food is on the level of a regular restaurant without being pricey. This just might be a good place to hangout if one can stand the sound of bowling pins constantly getting knocked over.

They exclaimed “state fair hours, closing after those last ones play their game” left Disgruntled. I gave them the 2 1/2 stars. Because of the Nostalgia I have for this place.

This place sucks, the rent a cop in there is a blonde, little 4 foot zip little man carrying a handgun. Hes very cocky, rude, and disrespectful to all customers who look "suspicious" Dont get me started on the heffer behemoth bartender who is the rudest employee ive ever encountered at a bowling alley. Dont ask her for a drink, shes too miserable to serve, and does so with complete childish attitude. Very immature. I ended up getting my refund of $30 back. my wife and I will not be back over there. First and last time. Place probably is a front like the other reviewers were saying. Dont waste time or money here, take your family somewhere a lot safer and more professional like Ten Pins or even main event. way more worth your hard earned cash. To hell with this cookie cutter establishment! Skidmores, your getting my skidmarks, not my cash as I drive out of your run down parking lot. Not worth the time spent at all.

***** NOT BICYCLE FRIENDLY ***** It's 10pm on a Tuesday night. The patio is empty and the furniture is locked up. We were requested to remove our bicycles from their patio because that's what management wanted. We did so politely and accordingly. No bike racks in sight. Where do we park our bikes if not for this nice empty patio with no people in it? (see pictures). I understand that they just went under major construction amd they may have new rules or something but there's no reason why we couldn't park our bicycles in the patio. I even spoke to a few customers who were leaving who heard the intercom tell everyone that the bikes had to be removed and they didn't understand because they didn't see any reason why we couldn't park them in an empty patio either. 20 some cyclists and I used to come here SO often because it was a fun place to be but there's other bowling alleys and they just lost our business.

It has been 2 years since I've been here and I can honestly say I will not be going back again. They still have the same rude staff members and they gave me and my family the dirtiest lane and when I told them it was dirty they were rude about it and the girl rolled her eyes and moved us to a different lane and the cocktail waitress never came and checked on us again.Not to mention they have a new game room which wasnt open and less lanes because of the game room. I used to think this was a great family environment but as of last night my family and I will not be returning to this place. IF YOU WANT A QUALITY BOWLING EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR FAMILY I would recommend going to any other bowling alley in Albuquerque like Silvas,Round 1 or , Main Event.

Honestly it's pretty nice. Bowling was good, food was way better than expected, I especially liked the chicken fingers. Arcade was pretty respectable as well (no round 1, but lots of new machines). I was expecting a standard bidding expectance and they upped their game. Good job.
