Visiting this place is a bit like traveling back in time. Its Its dull , dingy , and in serious need of a makeover. Be sure to bring your own shoes and ball, you dont want to use theirs. On the upside you'll find fairly well maintained lanes, a friendly staff and no crowds in the off hours.

I just love Shore Lanes! It is very old school, not many bells and whistles, but the staff is outstanding. The owner Ralph is so generous and hosts our Charity Bowling event each year and works with us so wonderfully. It is so refreshing!

I came here to have a fun time with my friends. It was about 11am and I didn't not have breakfast. I realized I was hungry and ordered a pizza because the silver brick grille inside of the place was closed. When the pizza came, the blonde lady at the front told me in a rude manner that the pizza was not allowed and that the owner would definitely say something about the pizza. I DID NOT know that I wasn't allowed to order food from outsides areas. I felt very bad about what I did and the blonde lady was very rude. She could have said something in a nice way, but chose to make me feel bad about what I did. This ruined my day and my bowling experience. I hope that next time IF I come here, my friends and I will be treated better because we are paying customers.

I like the oil pattern on the lanes- not too much oil (personal preference) so that the ball can swing back into the pocket with harder hitting action. And though nearby Bradley Beach Bowl is pretty nice too, this place seems to carry better. More relaxing atmosphere too. I also wanted to shout out to John the proshop/ counter guy and Ralph the owner. Their PR skills are exceptional!!!!! Plus I especially thank them for saving my glasses for me from when I visited there a week prior, I'd accidentally forgotten them. (I live about 2 hours away). You guys are the greatest and if I lived any closer I'd visit MUCH more often!!!

If you like warped Lanes, the smell of mold and mildew, and low selection of good bowling balls this is the place for you. This place has never been renovated. Just look at sign on the roof.

Great place to roll a few games. House is from the 1950's with original pin setters and equipment. Rolled 4 games with a friend and everything worked fine. Staff was great to talk to, they told me some of the history of the lanes. If you like nostalgia, head over.

I had my twins 13th birthday party this year. 2 years ago they also had their birthday party here too.It's hard to find a place that is fun and reasonable in the winter season for birthday parties. Ralph was very helpful. Darnell was our host. He was wonderful! I want to thank him for making sure my kids and their friends had a wonderful time.. ❤❤

26 lanes, snack bar and bar. Professionally run and Ralph is so helpful and nice. Run birthday parties and host several fun leagues. Lanes hook a lot and many high scores!
