What a nice casual place to eat and bowl. The best kept secret in N.West Jersey. The restaurant is five stars by itself. Everything we ordered was fresh. The specialty of the house is steak. Fresh vegetables, ice cold beer, and prompt friendly service. Bowling lanes were clean and comfortable. Nice atmosphere. I can't say enough good things about this place. Great place to take a date.

Haven't been to the bowling side, but the Sports Scene which is the restaurant and bar side has some very good appetizers, and you are better off asking if it is BYOB because the drinks are more of what is blended in your alcohol than alcohol.

Hi. About 2 months ago, I had a fundraiser at Oakwood Bowling alley in Washington, Nj. This fundraiser was for my son. He is in need of a service dog. The owner, Rob Plenge, walked me thru the whole process before beginning the planning. He was so helpful in assisting me. I wanted to give credit where credit is due. Their bowling alley is very clean and well taken care of. All of the employees are friendly and very eager to help. They also have a great snack bar. Quick service, from their staff. Overall, I was completely happy with the whole process. I would highly recommend Oakwood Lanes for parties, fundraisers, or just for a fun evening.

Food at the restaurant (Sport Scene) is good, always been happy with the burgers, but 1/2 dozen other items I've had also have all been enjoyable. Have had several events here (scouts, PTA) and Rob the owner has always been both accommodating and helpful in planning each one. Gotten some good bowling tips from at least 1/2 dozen of the employees and there's a great small town feel to the place.

The owner, Walt, is a wonderful man. He gave my friends and I free rewards cards, loaded with $10 dollars to start with. Also, my friends and I wanted 2 rounds of bowling. But Walt informed us how we could use a special he was having and get 3 rounds for less money than 2. He is such a nice man, and Oakwood Lanes is the best place to go bowling

Great place for a birthday party! We had a glow bowling party to celebrate my girls turning 3 and 5 and were extremely happy with the experience, start to finish! The staff were all easy going while still being professional and extremely helpful. The girls who worked as our party hosts did absolutely everything possible to make the day special for our girls, down to hand making each of them a birthday card! The prices were more than reasonable, and all of the kids and adults had a great time. It was refreshing to know you can still get great customer service and a special birthday experience without paying a fortune. I would definitely recommend Oakwood Lanes to anyone looking for a party venue. Perfect fun for kids of all ages, and great for all budgets.

The lanes are good, computers are easy to use and I'm practically retarded so that's saying something. The first time I went was awesome the second time the lanes were dry and my ball wasn t hooking at all.. but other than that the beer was cold and the bartender was funny.. getting carded at 30 made my day. I'll be back

I was here for a charity event on a Sunday afternoon, 6/10. I had never before visited Oakwood Lanes since it is not particularly close to my home. I find most bowling alleys to be adequate, if a bit stagnated with years of subpar maintenance, 70's decor, and a musk of cigarette smoke never purged from the air. So color me surprised when I found that this bowling alley was very modern! The computers for keeping score are entirely digital and touchscreen, the laser light show was awesome and made me feel like I was at some swanky wedding venue, and the staff was super polite! Now we take that last one for granted often. But most of the employees I dealt with seemed on the young side and each and every one were helpful, respectful, and professional. Clearly this establishment has standards for its employees! I can't comment on prices because of the nature of the event I attended, but regardless this is a fun, clean, and well managed bowling alley that I would return to even despite the longer drive!

Went to the restaurant, Sports Scene, and again glad I did. The food there just never disappoints. Great selection of dinner options, service is attentive and friendly. Reasonable prices for large portions. I didn't bowl there, but after dinner, looking in on the lanes, folks all seemed to really enjoy the atmosphere and sport.

First time here for the county tournament. 26 lanes, very clean and well maintained center, original wood approaches (awesome) and great elevated spectator area behind the lanes. Plenty of parking and concrete handicap ramp for accessibility.

We came at 9:30pm and the lady at the counter was told us in a rude tone "you have a looong wait" and we asked for how long so she said 25 min. We ended up waiting an HOUR and then they told us that it's too late to start playing. Also their french fries are terrible.

I love this bowling alley. Very clean and the lanes actually work!! I drove 40 min to bowl here because the Bowlmor 10 min away is extremely dirty and the lanes are constantly breaking down. I never regret the long drive to bowl at Oakwood lanes!

The Sports Scene Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner - A nice local eatery and sports bar. The Sports Scene has great burgers & wings, as well as steaks and seafood dishes. They feature locally made burgers and Piedmontese Beef Steaks from Arctic Foods, USA - A Meat Shoppe & USDA Processing facility (since 1957) - Which is only minutes down the road!

The best place to go bowling from my personal standpoint. The food is not overpriced and the people there create a friendly environment. It’s always fun for a group or friends or just a solo run. On Sundays & Wednesdays they have “Quarter Mania” from 9:00am-11:30am and also from 9:00pm-11:00pm. During this time each game only costs $0.25

"great bowling, rude service" -the bowling is great and there's great deals on Thursdays and Sundays, if there's any employee at the counter who appears to be over the age of 35 expect to be treated rudely as if your not worth their time, so far only the younger employees have treated me and my friends as though i was worth the business

Had a disgusting meal there on 2-16-18. One person had steak that was tough and full of grizzle. My friend and I both had chicken parmesan dinners. The chicken was MUCH smaller than it used to be and it was dry and burnt. Some of it wasn't even edible. We had to ask for sauce for the spaghetti that was served with it. Otherwise it was just plain, dry, sauceless spaghetti. The service wasn't too good either. There are four of us who will NEVER eat at the Sports Scene again. Totally disgusting meal and waste of money.

This bowling alley is really nice. The staff is really friendly, good music, good food, a good atmosphere. My first time here I had a blast, they had a a DJ and with loud good quality music blasting, laser lights, everybody was dancing, laughing, conversating, and having alot of fun. It was a great time. My fiance and I had a good time for our date night that night!

Waited for an hour for a lane after being told 25 minutes max, the lady running the place was rude and even told off a younger girl for trying to help us out. Sports Scene Restaurant is a favorite for Sunday Dinner at least twice a month. Food is really predictable, burbon old fashion perfect, serves make you feel welcome. And, it's just around the corner.
