Classic bowling alley, they have some food options which were alright. Some of the balls seemed kind of worse for wear. I came here with a group from work and we had two lanes. Parking is a challenge here, the lot behind the building is not for the bowling alley so it's just a few spots on the side (or any street spot). All my clothes smelled like oil after we left here, not sure why!

I am really disappointed with the people they assign as manager in this place. I came here twice and had a good time with my husband and 6yr daughter, but maybe it was because the previous manager was much friendlier and professional. In any case, I decided to bring my family that came over to visit me since I told them what a great time I had. When we arrived at the place I asked the front desk person for the package deal which they advertise on the flyer and she looked confused as if she did not know what I was referring to. I then took the flyer which I saved from my previous visit and showed it to her . Then the manager told us that he couldn't give us that deal because we need it to call 48rh in advice. This was ok with me but what really bothers me is that the place was almost empty and as a first time visit they should at least be more welcoming, frendlyer and willing to acomoted us by offering more choices; that is if they want more people to keep coming. Unfortunate the manager was in a bad mood and made the hole experience unpleasant.

Racist, racist, racist employee!!!! Me, my husband and my sisters looked up this outdated bowling alley in Hope's of having a great time... we were completely WRONG. When we walked in we were not greeted but instead nagged about some food we had from Red Robin. We had just finished eating there and had not intended to eat inside of the bowling alley. I even asked the guys if he wanted to take it behind the counter and he said no. That was strike one. Me and my husband stood by the counter ready to get our shoes and purchase not one, but a few games. He asked my husband how many, and proceeded to ring us up. He threw my husbands card back on the counter.... What in the holy hell???? I was shocked. This enraged me so much. I said don't you ever do anything like that again. We are paying customers. How dare you?. He made some excuse say1ing he didn't mean it that way.... yeaaaa rightt!. You would think by now I would have packing up to go....WRONG! We asked him what lane we were in. I was over it when he decided to give us an obstructed lane that nobody else wanted. I asked why do we have to have that one? He just looked at me and said what's wrong with it? I took my shoes off and gave him my husbands card, and got a refund!. Goodbye outdated bowling alley with racist employees. All money is green

Disappointed that they wouldn't accommodate me for 2 pizza pies instead of wings on a $90 dollars package, had to buy the $75 dollar package and buy a pizza pie separately, that makes no sense to me. Staff could be friendlier as well.

Lanes are well kept. Enjoyed listening to tunes while waiting for my turn. Nice selection of bowling balls to choose from. Bowling shoes not so great, felt like wrapping plastic around my foot. Overall, great place to bowl!

Great staff, and nice bowling alley. It's a little small, but not too many lanes and it can get a little packed when half.of the lanes are occupied but overall it is a great place to spend your evenings. They have a great deal on Monday and Sunday mornings where you pay only $1 a game

Garden Palace Bowling in Clifton NJ is advertising for the Fall Fun League for 2018. I received a call back on this individual handicap league request. The form says nothing about fill ins or substitutes. On the phone Bill told me to come in and maybe I could fill in if someone did not show. I went and waited 9-8-2018 around and was there as requested. The teams are already formed and there is no room for individuals. The bowling team member names are already on the bowling roster prior to the leagues bowling. One woman told me the bowling lane for individuals already has vacancies saved. Bill in charge told me that a specific lane would be my lane if two other people showed who showed. A woman bowler said differently after the two individuals showed. This is deceptive false advertising. Why is this bowling alley listing individual spots when it appears the teams are only for group teams pre-selected long ago? I signed up when it appeared the leagues for all listed would form around early August 2018. This bowling alley is listening what it does not offer. I was told I can come back and try again in two weeks. The fun league form needs to be updated to teams and groups only. This bowling alley sucks with it's false advertising.

This is a nice little bowling alley with 16 lanes. It's a great place to bowl if like me, you like to bowl in a bowling alley. Not a nightclub. You can actually see what you're doing! All joking aside, this place is quaint and feels like a classic bowling alley. It's maintained well, has a good ball selection(which is my big bowling pet peeve; I have fat fingers and finding a ball in the weight I want with large finger holes is harder than it should be)a clean bathroom and is a great place to bowl.

If you like bowling then you'll love this place. It's a smaller ally which makes it so amazing. They know you by first name. The food is good and the bar serves anything you'd like. If they don't know what it is, they will figure it out. They really make you feel at home. Tuesday nights are always a plus because it's 25 cents a game. You cannot go wrong. Birthday Parties, get-together's and just a night out.. this is the place you want to go for good food, good drinks and a good time. Lots of laughs will come as well. The people behind the counter are just as amazing as the place itself. Richie is a doll and will help with anything you need. If you like to bowl with friends or you are in a league, check this place out. You will have a great time and you will be back for more.

Old time bowling house used to be referred to as garbage palace. Amazing what a little money and updating will do. It's now a house you don't mind going in to practice. Only 1 of 3 bowling houses left in Passaic county.

Planning my son's 5th birthday party there . They have been very accommodating by getting kosher pizza for us the party on July 29th. They also have asked if any my son's friends have food allergies. They are going to accommodate all food allergies. They provide the paper goods, food, drinks and goody bags. All you have to do is to make the cake and bring the decorations. They do all the set up and clean up for you. Ricky is friendly and very easy to ask questions to. Every time I call any on staff is very courtesy. Recently got back into bowling and was looking for a new "home alley" and ive definitely found it. Bowlero in Wallington while really cool looking, was a little bit too much "nightclub atmosphere" than i was looking for. Lodi Lanes, while classic, i dont know, the employees just gave me weird judgmental vibes, for lack of a better word. Stopped in here today, and had a great experience. The 3 employees i interacted with were all very friendly. The lanes were the perfect amount of oil, not too much not too little, and awesome prices. You guys got a new regular today. Next is to check out the leagues they offer.

It was one of the worst bowling experiences I have ever had. The machines were broken, and the staff was nasty and inconsiderate. It wasted $35 and an hour of my time. The lanes are uneven, and the ball bounces out of the gutter. They messed up the bowlers order, and gave extra pins. They refused to give extra time when they wasted it. The reset button didn’t work along with some toilets. And the pictures on the tv had some inappropriate images. Never go here.
