We worked and bowled on a Monday when they opened. It's the sweet life when you can have the whole bowling alley to yourself so you can walk around in your undies. Though, $70-$100 / hour as a minimum cost to bowl equates to 2 stars lost.

It was hot in there the entire time we played but I liked several things about it. The shoe selection is self service. The game computer felt like it was in good shape. All the balls were heavily scarred but that is normal. We played 2 full games with only 2 glitches. They were easily fixed by using the computer to cycle /reset. The music was fairly vanilla when I was there, but there were signs up about a live dj late at night. It is little weird when you go in. The first floor is under construction, so you are walking past a heavy tarp until you get to a little elevator. The elevator has signs all over it warning of a maximum capacity of 10 people. I didn't try the food or alcohol, so no comment on that.

Javier was beyond amazing, he was our waiter for the night. He was great for the whole night, However towards the end of the night the rest of the staff were telling us we had to chug our drinks since they were about to close. That wasn’t cool because we paid $290 for 2 hours of open bar which started at 8:40. They should put in the fine print if it’s 11pm we can’t drink anymore. I would’ve never booked this place if i knew they would tell us we had to leave rather then let us finish our drinks. Thank you Javier for a great night of customer service. You should teach your peers on what customer service is!

First time visiting bowling in NYC. $45 for one hour upto 5 people. If you don't have that many people then you are screwed, paying $45 for one or two people just imagine. Plus paying for shoes and food. I will think twice before visiting this place again.

Very clean and upscale place. Great atmosphere. DJ definitely knows how to move the crowd and plays a great selection of music. Mainly hip hop. Drinks are good. Not watered down. The only minor issue I had was I ordered coconut shrimp and fries and it was salty. The chef was very generous with the salt. Other than that, I had a great time at Frames Bowling Lounge and would definitely do it again.

Lots of fun to be had here between the 20+ bowling lanes, 4 ping pong tables, 3 pool tables, shuffleboard, jenga, etc. food is actually pretty good too. Had an issue while here and the executive management team resolved it very well. Great work guys.

I had a great experience tonight. Awesome food, great service, and good music. There was a waiter for our party and he was right on point with everything we needed. I recommend this bowling alley to anyone looking to celebrate a loved one or for a night of fun. They were not cheap with the alcoholic beverages either.

Cool place and great energy. We spent most of our time in the games room. The Connect Four game was not working and spilling the chips on the floor. We watched it happen with two other groups of players so it wasn't just us. Also it was freezing the room. Way colder than in the main bowling area. Overall thought it is a nice place. You won't get a lane until way after midnight on a weekend so plan in advance! Make a reservation or forget it.

Frames was extremely helpful with making a surprise 40th Birthday party for my husband. From the booking staff, to the desk staff and waiters that evening they all helped pull it off. They were reasonable priced and worked with me to find the best package to suit our needs. I would go back any day. They weren't super busy for a Sunday night and that made it even nicer and more intimate.

Great atmosphere and diligent staff. Lanes are immaculate. Although I would recommend some structural and appearance upkeep i.e. main entrance (steps) could benefit from nice power and some of the steps leading to the lanes were worn off (may cause someone to trip). But I am a neat freak :) Hey, it's still a great and budget conscious bowling establishment. Very clean bathrooms, too! I would have given it five stars if there would have been healthier food options at the snack bar.

The cocktails are strong, the equipment and the furnishings are in good condition. The service is great. One awesome thing is that you don't have to wait for the shoes rental - you can just pick a pair for your size from the conveniently organized cubby holes. Two things I don't like are: 1. Lighting. The lights over the lanes are frequently dimmed to match the music videos that play on the screens over each frame. This might help the mood and stuff, but makes it hard to aim, actually. 2. Balls selection. The combinations of weights/holes sizes are quite few. If you prefer a ball with bigger finger holes but don't want it to be a 15lbs block buster, you have to ask the desk, and even then the success is not guaranteed.

Came here for a company event with my coworkers and boss. We got the "Summer Splash" package. The food was delicious and a great choice for our event. It was easy to eat while bowling. The place is clean and spacious so your not bumping elbows with other groups. Good music and happy atmosphere! The drinks were pretty good for the price. Overall: Had a such a great experience, was well fed, and the employees were responsive and respectful, it's a great choice if your in a group!

I gotta say customer service is not 100,% best. They're definitely tryna to get you to spend as much as possible. But luckily I was able to get the deal after 11. Getting a lane for $140 for 7 people. This place can definitely be better. The music was good tho.

It's fun place for corporate outings. We had great time, had two hours of bowling with food and drinks, however it mostly served fast food, such as fried chicken bbq chicken burgers and fries with soda. Fun place, because they have table tennis and karaoke options at the premise. Also you have to commute with subway or cab, parking is impossible to find in the area. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place if you are planning to come for group outings.

Pretty decent place in Time Square and right to the back of Port Authority Bus Terminal. I went there for a private event and we had the entire bowling alleys, bar and karaoke. Food were just fair, and drinks were good though. Having good time and good place to host private events for 200+ people.

I went to the bowling lounge and the food was good but we waited such a long time for my friends food and milkshake for me.i had a lot of fun with the bowling part but it was just making me mad because I didn’t have my food for an big amount of time. Plus the milkshakes are just melted ice cream I advice you don’t go to here it’s was awful. Also I ordered a cinnamon roll and they told me after I paid that they didn’t have anymore

Plenty of Lanes. Ideal for team competitions. Music is good. Fair selection of music from different times. I particularly relate with 2000s. I felt very much at home. Food options are good. Varieties of options with different sauces to cater to different degrees of spice lovers. Drink options are pretty good too. Beer lovers would fit right in

Very good experience, staff was accommodating and friendly! My only critique is that the bar staff at the bar closest to the bowling area, were slow. I was standing at the bar at one point for 7 minutes before any bartender greeted me, and it wasnt like they were super busy, they were just conversing with other staff. That was a bit irritating.

Not a place to bowl if you're an actual bowler. The lanes were very dry. The shoes were horrible. I'm just glad I did not have my own ball and shoes. The lane probably would have scratched the surface of my bowling ball. I paid an hour and left after 2 drinks. I will never go back.

Bartender was pleasant servers were pretty rude, but didnt really need them for much. This was a outing for my coworkers and myself, so I would say this is a very good place to bring large groups for some food and fun. Lots of fun photo opportunities as well.

If it wasn't for my gfs birthday I would had been highly upset cause we paid for 8 people and they said we only paid for 5 when they still took my money cause I paid after 5 p.m but we still had a good time, the food was great hands to the cook, they played some good music and we all had a good time and the staff were pretty nice. We still all had a great time and next time if you want to add someone just pay at the place rather than online because it'll be some problems when you get there.

While the place is definitely very nice it's extremely expensive. It's $75 for an hour or going which is way too much. However that being said the place is extremely nice , well maintained and a lot of fun. There is a great vibe for fun and entertainment. There is also an attached game room with a ping pong and pool room.

Good place for a group party. They have games from bowling, ping pong to billiards. They have great combo options which include two hours bowling, two platters and two drinks each person. Best to choose that if everyone drinks. Also, they have l dance floor and place to eat too. The waiter and the staff is really helpful and ready to help with some confusion with the orders.

Got there and their system was down so they started us late but did not give us the extra time we missed out on. Then with about 15 minutes left, the lane broke multiple times and the manager told us if it hit 6 and we weren't done its too bad. He said he couldn't add time but luckily somehow our waitress was able to. We also wanted to pay for an extra hour but they were "completely booked." We stayed and finished our drinks and food for another hour and there were at least 10 lanes open the entire time. THIS PLACE IS A RIPOFF

The decor is super cute to come and take pics w. Your girlfriends. Or play pool. To have a drink , however. Depends on your bartender. When me and my homegirl went out, the bartender we had. Appeared to have an attitude for some reason, but the drinks were good. Had a good amount of alcohol for what you pay:) but the food may be overpriced. Everything is above $10 bucks I believe for personal sized meals.

Biggest positive is location. Its inside PABT and hence well connected to public transit. Food was a mixed experience: the wings and flatbread pizza were amazing while the chicken sliders were terrible. Now for the not-so-good: the bowling equipment is old and needs an overhaul. Balls were chipped in numerous places. The lanes didn't seem level. And finally, the server wasn't the best, hard to find and also didn't know how to help us add an extra item to the package. I had to talk to the manager for resolution.

Awesome place for bowling, booked private room and trust me it was pretty awesome. Food wise, they serve avg food neither so good nor so bad. A must try when in NYC. Rooms is not good for more than 8-10, because not much space for foods or plates or your drinks glasses.

Fairly quiet, we went mid pm, perfect because we had a farewell party. I didn't like that our games were abruptly stopped, I guess our time is up, but maybe there should be a warning. What if we opted to extend? Food options- mostly fried and plentiful for sharing. There's roasted veggies with dips-ok. You have your own table across the lanes for those who don't want to play. They have a bar too. Tip: alcohol is served here. Rentals come with bowling shoes but no socks.

My Colleagues and I meet here for the right to brag "who had the best bowling team" one night after a long work week. It was Friday at 6.30 pm, the place was almost empty. I figured since it was summer everyone wanted to be outdoors. At about $37 dollars a head drinks, ball and shoes were included, not a bad deal for the city. There is also a pool table there. We ordered food of course, the platters came loaded. Food was well prepared and our group had an especially great server. The bathroom are well kept. One problem, with the going vegan movement, this business needs to adjust their menu alittle, which is why I subtracted a star. I had only one avocado and corn chip dish order an no other choices. So vegans eat before you go especially if you plan to have a few drinks.

The reason for my one star review is how disgustingly gross and dirty the bathroom was. Toilets were clogged, toilet paper was everywhere. Unflushed feces. Most stalls didn't even have toilet paper in them. One toilet seat had blood all over it. I was shocked at the state and completely repulsed. I'd hesitate before having a party here.

We were in the VIP area for a 30th birthday party and it was perfect! There were 13 bowlers but the space would've easily accommodated 5 more. The staff were all extremely helpful and attentive, the food was good, and we had a ton of fun. It is good to know that this room is rented by the hour, not per game, so whenever your time is up the lanes turn off no matter where you are in the game. Not a big deal for us, it was not competitive, just provided a fun and exciting place for friends to catch up and celebrate. I would go again and recommend to friends, and with a group of adults I would absolutely rent the VIP section again.

Terrible service with dismissive staff. Our company paid thousands of dollars to host an event there and the service was subpar. I asked our waiter of the night to refill our pitcher of water and was told, "You have another pitcher of water on the other lane." Really?! Unbelievable. Then when asked to receive help adding another player to the lane another staff member was walking away as I was talking to him. I would not recommend especially since tip is predetermined in the price paid a month in advance to reserve the spot. Poor service all around.

We had a company get together here, the location is super convenient and easy to get to using the subway. The parking around their is very expensive, so use public transportation. The place can get busy in the evenings, we went on a Friday. The booking process was a breeze and so was getting the lanes going. The food options are expensive and it is better to take one of their various packages, instead of ordering the lanes and food separately. Gratuity of 18% is automatically added to the bill, but the service is not up to the mark and you feel rushed , especially close to the point where your reservation is ending. They book on the hour, so make sure you consider that when timing it. There are restrooms at the place.

A swanky recreation spot for adults. I booked my daughter's 24th bday event here a few weeks ago....LAST MINUTE. Like the day of and everything went incredibly smooth. We booked bowling and billiards which end up being perfect. We were assigned lanes right by the lounge area with the Billiard table. Listen the food here is AH-MAZING. This is not the frozen pizza, fries and hot dogs at the neighborhood bowl. The terriyaki wings and fried mozzarella were the favorite. We ordered some other items and NO COMPLAINTS. We were considering Karaoke too - the room is sick - but opted not to because the song list wasnt up to date. Good thing we did because these kids don't know time - and were late. However, unlimited bowling starts at 11pm and ends at 2am so that worked out perfectly. Our server was great and so was the front desk woman. Here's my ONE issue: THE DRINKS. First order of two patron Margaritas came to $36 or $18ea w/o tip. Now I have paid $20 for drinks and when I don't expect it to be WATERED DOWN with loads of ice. And that appears to be the protocol here. We even decided to order pitchers of the margaritas which end up costing upward of $100 with the patron upcharge. However it was stil drowned with LOADS OF ICE. No bueno. Our group spent about a $1k on drinks, which is fine, but don't water it down. Otherwise, everything else was awesome. Good spot for groups, date night and small parties. There were about 4 adults there (over 40) and we all said we'll be back this summer w/o our 'young adults.'

I went here two weeks ago with my 2 sons. I asked the lady, latina lady for the prices and she stared at me first, then began communicating in a condescending manner to us three. I work for City Government. Geez. I will never come here again. Also, my school will not be allowed to come here ever. Never pre-judge ANYBODY!! Thanks for the reply, sir. You obviously seem to know more about customer service. However, this was still an embarrassment for me. I will send you a copy of my reciept if I still have it. Have payment proof...I paid by card :).

Frames is a great place to meet and greet they have everything Ballard ping pong bowling good food full bar good meeting rooms and right next to port authority bus terminal. How convenient is that ! Go it's a must.

Pretty decent place in Time Square and right to the back of Port Authority Bus Terminal. I went there for a private event and we had the entire bowling alleys, bar and karaoke. Food were just fair, and drinks were good though. Having good time and good place to host private events for 200+ people.

The fact that women cannot dress how they want is terrible no crop tops, wow! didnt understand that one. I wasn’t comfortable I love my tattooes and had to cover them. Drink highly priced where is the booze though they had too much ice ugh.

Bowling doesn't have lasers and fancy lights, but you do get two screens per lane: one shows you your score and the other shows the music video the DJ is playing. The bartender Maya took good care of me. She deserves a raise! Made new friends on the bowling lanes and the vibe is super chill, will be back.

The cocktails are strong, the equipment and the furnishings are in good condition. The service is great. One awesome thing is that you don't have to wait for the shoes rental - you can just pick a pair for your size from the conveniently organized cubby holes. Two things I don't like are: 1. Lighting. The lights over the lanes are frequently dimmed to match the music videos that play on the screens over each frame. This might help the mood and stuff, but makes it hard to aim, actually. 2. Balls selection. The combinations of weights/holes sizes are quite few. If you prefer a ball with bigger finger holes but don't want it to be a 15lbs block buster, you have to ask the desk, and even then the success is not guaranteed.

We spent time here bowling and in the Karaoke room. I would recommend they get new bowling shoes as this is considered a boutique bowling center and the shoes were in horrible condition for an upscale bowling center. The food was great and the Karaoke room was awesome. We had a party of 27 and we never experienced any bad service throughout the night.

The crazy heat today must have been getting to the door guy. Either was awful at verifying out of state IDs or absurdly bad at guessing age. Like really bad. 2 stars because at least he didn't act on his paranoia in a way that required me to call the police to get my ID back. I was worried for a second it would go down that way. It was embarrassing to be shook down like that for the "crime" of having visible acne while also being in your late twenties. With a 100% valid license and social security card and a husband with the same last name and similar age not getting harassed.

Fun time bowl night. Courteous workers. Good music. Also has pool tables and table tennis / ping pong. Food and drinks are good. Limo service has easy access to the Lincoln tunnel

A great place to relax while others bowl. We made the kids have fun. We sat in the eating area right behind them to drink and eat. The food was amazing. Bathroom was clean and kept clean on rotation. Drinks aren't strong but tastes good. The game room was fun. It's a good place to be.

You might think that its close to Times Square so it might be small and crowded but inside is whole new huge world. Booking and going is better. Do look at the offers of combos with bowling and food/drinks because its cheaper that way. Drinks and ambience is good. People are friendly.

NY is in the middle of a deep freeze and this past weekend my friends and I need a warm cozy spot to have some fun and relax. I was able to book my reservation online and when we arrived it was beautiful. The music was awesome, the balls were in great condition and the menu left nothing else to be desired. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was because we had a little glitch with our lane and I lost a few frames. This would have been an issue if I stood any chance of winning the game but since my score was a joke we just laughed the whole thing off. We will definitely be back.

The food and atmosphere is excellent but I had a less than good experience with Fredya while trying to make and pay for my reservation. I was told my reservation would held for a couple days in case I needed to make any changes and can make the payment then for my son's 21st bday. When I called back to make my payments and to make the necessary changes the computer was and was told the changes cannot be made. Being that the changes would change the cost I asked can I make the payment when the computers are back up? Fredya said she cannot guarantee the reservation if the payment was not made today and there was no refunds. I asked to speak to a manager and was told no because they will tell me the samething. The computers bring down was not my fault and I should not be penalized for it by having to pay more or losing my reservation.

We did a 2 hour bowling private party there and every 15-20 minutes a staff came and disrupted us. Towards the last 20 minutes we felt overwhelmed and rushed

We did our team outing here. The package they have is pretty good for it. 5 appetizers, bottomless drinks and 2 hours of bowling followed by 1 hour of ping-pong or snooker. We got the leftmost lane which was horrible. Most of the other lanes were empty when we came in and when we left. The food and drinks were the saving grace. The thai coconut shrimp is just too good. Overall the team had a fun time but I guess we will go somewhere else next time.
