Since the remodel, there is basically no reason to go to another bowling alley. There are plenty of lanes, a good number of arcade games, and a surprisingly nice laser tag arena. What's really impressive is the change in the food service. The bar has an impressive craft beer selection and high quality food options.

This is by far the nicest bowling alley I’ve ever seen. They have a great selection of games, food, and beer on top of bowling. We just had our son’s party there and everything went fantastic. I didn’t have to do a thing and everything was taken care of. I highly recommend Kaelyn as your party pro. You won’t find a better bowling experience.

While our group was waiting for a lane to open up I ordered a drink which had absolutely zero alcohol in it. Next time I went up I ordered a double which tasted exactly the same and again straight soda and no alcohol. The bowling might be good but the bar is definitely shady. Save your money don’t bother going to the bar.

So me and my boyfriend went here on last Thursday and we spend $17 for the lane, the shoes, and the game. We went here today on this Sunday and we were going to spend the same price. My boyfriend looked at the amount on the price and it was $75! For an hour and a half and also including the shoes too. Me and my boyfriend didn't pay for it. Because it was way to much money. We didn't pay for it and we decided to go to do something else. My boyfriend looked on the website and we looked and we couldn't believe the prices online.

They charge per hour not game, so a smaller group will play more than a larger group, but for the same price. The staff is friendly and helpful. My boys loved their laser tag experience. This was done with them as a group so they could compete only with each other and not have to play a crowded arena with other players they weren't comfortable with. The arcade was fun and reminiscent of the arcades at the shore and were not overly expensive.

The staff was super friendly. We were able to book a room for a work outing which was very nice and the vip lanes as well. Definitely enjoyed our time. The food and snacks were also really good. Lisa also helped up with the laser tag. He entire experience was amazing, will definitely return here for more with my friends and family.

This place has a very nice setting and it is fun for their bowling. Their arcade is not a rip off like most arcades are. They have lots of ways to get free stuff and they have a nice referral program. Has a very nice cafe that serves good food.

I will never go back to circle lanes. Waited at le 30 minutes out of the hour I paid for waiting for our lane to be fixed. We asked the manager for a refund for the time we didnt use to play and was told all they could do is give us free arcade cards. Never again will I go back. I recommend going to rockaway lanes over circle lanes any day

We were there for over 2 hours to get a lane and finally left because we were still on the wait list. Front desk staff couldn’t care less... Miss the old Circle Lanes. In response to the owners comment below: Maybe one your front desk staff members could have let us know there were lane issues instead of letting us wait for 2 hours.

I had my son's birthday party here (7 yrs old). It was great! Everyone had a great time. Our party pro Katie was amazing! She was dealing with 2 parties, but you'd never know. She was very helpful and had a great attitude. Very clean place, and nice environment for families. Our package included bowling, laser tag and the arcade. Wayyyyy better than Chuck e cheese. There was no waiting. Quick tip if you are having a party...you are told you can't bring outside food, BUT you can bring snacks for your parties. We found this out when we got there and went and bought some chips and cookies for the kids. Very nice place and will definitely return.

This place has everything. Black light nights, arcade, laser tag, bowling deals on Thursday and Sundays and a few other days, jukebox, modern screens and podiums, well organized balls, good food, a completely separate bar, ice cream, VIP room, and servers to each lane. Definitely the best place to bowl around north jersey, even more so if you're going in a group. Just try to go on a pay-per-game day rather than pay-per-hour if you are in a group.

My family went as part of a package where we each get to play 2 games for just the cost of shoe rental. The staff is friendly and courteous. They have a bar area with bar eats (never entered there though) and a separate snack area near a birthday party room. My family likes that the balls are color-coded by weight and you can select which players get the bumpers. We went mid-afternoon on a Sunday in August and the place looked pretty lively with a broad mix of bowlers.

My wife and I have gone here a bunch of times with friends and we've had a blast each time! There's usually late night deals that you can't beat. The staff is great, especially Ariel. He's a chill guy to chat with. He actually introduced us to the wing and beer flight specials that change each week, which we love! Would definitely recommend checking out this place!

It's a really nice bowling alley with an arcade and a restaurant/bar for you to hang out if you're not bowling. Always clean and nice. Food is reasonably priced and their sliders are good. I just wouldn't recommend the margarita flat bread and the Mac and cheese bites. Definitely get the regular pizza though. And the XL miles are also fantastic and worth the money.

Amazing place to bring your family and friends! We would do kids bowl free which I believe they offered in September. The place is insanely clean. Its a major uprgrade from what is used to be! Also the food here as amazing, I was shocked at how the food tasted considering it was a bowling alley. This is similar to a lucky strike!

Called at 430pm and was told it was not busy and plenty of lanes. Arrived at 510 and put my name on the list. Spent $ on arcade and jukebox while waiting. Ordered food. Saw many people come and go and empty lanes. At 610 inquired at desk about how much longer we would wait. Was told there was one party in front of us. Patronized the restaurant. At 630 inquired again and was now told 3 parties in front of us! The staff is very young and unorganized and no owner was available. The entire time lanes stayed empty ... according to desk staff they were holding for online reservations that never seemed to show up. So basically if you sit, wait, and spend $ you could wait all night. You need to have a better reservation system for walkins that merges with online. When we finally bowled at 730 the pins reset every time. Will not go again and do not reccomend. The staff is unprofessional and inexperienced.

Newly updated which is very nice, but the online reservations for lanes make it nearly impossible to just come in spur of the moment. Came in a couple weeks ago and was told it would most likely be a half hour wait and then after waiting move and hour just decided to leave. Got a text that our lane was available 2 and a half hours later at about 10 o'clock at night....Much rather them do without the online reservations. Makes it nearly impossible for anyone to come in if they don't have a reservation.

My 11 year old and her friend had fun. I bowled as well. Wasn't bad. The last time I bowled was 4 years ago, so it's not really my thing. The place is totally refurbished and has wait service at your lanes. Plus an arcade and laser tag. Bowling has become much more expensive these days. Fun rainy day activity nonetheless

I really loved this place. The bowling alley is huge. There's good food and a nice bar that is well stocked. There's even an arcade area (limited game selection.) The night I went here there was live music. There is a seating/restaurant type area as well. I would love to go here again. There's also lots of other things nearby like stores and restaurants.

This bowling alley is a really good bowling alley! Has tech that runs the place and is meant for people to have to run into a situation where you can skip their turn, change their name, or remove them entirely. I wouldn't go to another bowling alley because this one is the top of the bar. Bowling balls organized for different sizes, and easy for toddlers to get introduced. Lazer Tag was top notch and quite advanced for a place in the middle of a plaza. Sensors for Lazer Tag are great, and perfect for large groups. The arcade is amazing for the kids and was easy to use.

Fun place overall. They have a lot of things to do there. They have fun discount and special nights with discounts on drinks, food, games, and other things. One thing I will say is that the bowling service isnt the best. If something goes wrong with your lane and you report it, it takes awhile to get help. Despite this, it's a fun family friendly place.

Our group waited over 45 minutes for a lane that we never got. In the meantime, the bar sucked. No pitchers of beer (you know youre a bowling alley right?) and drinks ordered as "doubles" had no liquor in them. Don't waste your time here. EDIT: No, I will not visit you again.

This place is cool! Prices were reasonable, food was good, lots of neat stuff to do. If you go into this thinking "bowling alley" you're not making the right mental picture. It's almost a much smaller analogue to what "sports and games" back in the 90's was.

The alley has been a staple of Roxbury for over 50 years. It recently underwent a major renovation in 2015 to bring it up to modern standards and since then had been updating and keeping fresh. The staff are fantastic, as are the food and beer selections. It is great to see a local business go trough such a minor update and still be a part of the community.

Great place, but loses 2 stars for the food being priced so high and not being good. I don't mind paying for food, so long as it's good, but $14.50 for a Jersey Burger that tastes like a frozen supermarket burger is way too high. Nachos beef isn't seasoned well enough, they also served it in chunks of beef that tasted exactly like the burger. Staff is super friendly and welcoming, just needs to work on their food prices and quality, then it would be the perfect place to go to.

Had my son's 5th birthday party here. Every kid had a blast! It's very organized, they bowl for 45 mins, then laser tag for 15 mins, then pizza & cake, then each kid got a card loaded to play the arcade. All in the party lasted about 2.5 hours and they all enjoyed it every bit. Younger than 5 is a bit too young to really appreciate the party but every parent that was there complimented us on having such a great party! Will probably do my other son's 5th party here in 2 years!

This place is overpriced. Game room charges 1.50 per game for 30 seconds of play time. Bowling is timed so you feel like you have to rush to get through games. This is not a good place to go and enjoy a drink and have fun bowling.

There is a lot to say this place they have great specials almost every single day. The laser tag is fun and intense they have a new arcade which is also very nice. The arcade is accessible for both adults and children and there's something for everyone. The new Bar & restaurant inside is very nice. There is a single pool table in the back isolated nicely. The only upsetting part was the only had one pool cue and it was in bad shape. The bowling is awesome the control that you have over your lane as far as putting up bumpers on individual turns is really nice. There are plenty of balls of different sizes and plenty of shoes that fit comfortably. Again overall very clean friendly atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy

The new makeover for this place is amazing. It has so much energy and excitement! The options of things to do, besides bowl, like laser tag, and an incredible arcade. The restaurant and bar have basic food choices, and they are going to put in a coffee bar. Very impressive private bowling area for corporate parties, as well as a kids party area. They did a great job and is worth a visit!

This place is amazing. Great service to the lane and its food is so good for a bowling place. But you pay for it. For a group of 3 we played one game for 1 hour $45 shoes at $4.50 each. Soda $3 each and one snack each at $9 we spent over 100 one day of fun. And we had so much fun it felt like we only got 15min of bowling. So man you will have so much fun you wont want it to end. And the arcade for the kids will have them saying we need to stay to get that in as well.

I went to see the musical act on Saturday night. I was really impressed with how the place was re-decorated. I hadn't been there in years. Looks great! My only complaint was a couple of servers/wait staff seemed like they had an attitude towards the customers so I did not feel totally welcome.

Really disappointed with this experience. Was told that I couldn’t reserve a lane because it wasn’t 3 hours in advance and was told to walk in. It was 3pm on a Saturday and it wasn’t that busy. I was told by the front desk that there were 4 parties ahead of me. I’m waiting around for 45 minutes and asked what the wait time would be and they said that there were 2 parties ahead of me. This turns into an hour and a half of waiting time and the lane was still not available. No one should have to wait this long to get a lane when it’s not even that busy. Such a waste of time. And I did not bowl a single game because of this ridiculous wait time.

They are also extremely accommodating to people of all different abilities and needs and often host young adults with autism for social skills outings. Great experience of bowling even as first timers. The point system is good but we could not play as team A and team B. It could be there possibly on the system but we could not locate it. Should it not be there that is a suggestion that could be considered. Good fun for even the little ones. We had a good time thank you.

This is my favorite bowling alley. It’s the customer service and clean facility that make this place magical! The customer service is top notch. I especially thought that Coby in the front desk was very friendly, helpful, and kind to my daughter and I. We had 17 kids and he kept me up to date with the timeline, stayed with the kids and kept them in control as much as you can for 17, 11 year old kids! We did not have to do anything. We have done previous bowling parties there but this year was the best. Ask for Matt if you have a party there!

The place looks great and there is so much to do. Food and drinks are a little pricey for a bowling alley. The $2 games on Sunday night are awesome, but there's no way I'd pay $45 an hour to bowl. Biggest downfall was that the ball returns are so far up the alley...they made it uncomfortable to bowl and I don't think I could league bowl there.

Had my daughters birthday party here. Clean, updated alley with great service. lots of compliments on how the party hosts helped the kids bowl so the parents didn't have to do anything. everything ran smoothly and we were very satisfied.

We have a family tradition to get together for my father-in-law's birthday, and have fun playing bowling and eating some good food. This place fits the bill, with their modern alleys, music, bar and amenities. Plus having easy access to the mall stores allows you to run errands and get stuff done while you wait for your family and friends. Prices are in line with the area, and there's plenty of parking spots available.

Just had my son's birthday party here and it was excellent. The party hosts were very attentive and kept all the kids involved. We were complimented several times by other parents on how much fun their children had. Would definitely return.

Very updated and clean. Honest to god nicest bowling alley I have ever been to. Food was good. Chicken fingers and pizza. Not the biggest bowling alley but the had electric bumpers that were managed by bowler. Brought 12 7 yr old and unders to bowl and it really worked out well.
