Great place if you're planning an event or if you just want to hang with some friends. You have your typical bar food, which is not bad by the way. The service was great, they kept on top of things made sure we were good at all times. If you have never gone bowling...I suggest giving this place a try.

I had my daughters sweet 16 at Bowlmor Time Square yesterday. From start to finish everything went smoothly. The event manager & party coordinator checked in with me several times to make sure everything was ok. Our food & beverage server (Victor) was excellent!!! I highly recommend Bowlmor lanes for your party event.

As of October 2019, Bowlmor was a great place to bowl even if you are not a bowler. Since I don't personally mix drinking/ bar scene with business, my coworkers took me to Bowlmor to celebrited my promotion. We had a blast. I bowled under 100...way under, lol, but I still had a lot of fun. The place was very clean, finger food was very good, and wonderful, helpful and accommodating employees! Place had something for everyone - lots of bowling lanes; arcade machines, penty of TV monitors with sporting events; a bar, and a private room with TV monitors, five lanes, and area to place your cake, snacks/food Recommendations: Bowlmor has shoes, and it appeared all shoes were sprayed with disinfective, but do you really want to place your bare feet in shoes worn by multiple strangers - so, take socks/footees. Also, if possibe, take public transportation because at the time of my visit street parking was a challenge. Bowlmor was near a parking garage but parking was pricey. Bowlmor was accessible and NYC walkable to subways, NY/NJ Port Authority and Penn Station(If you don't want to walk from Penn Station, the subway [A, C, E and others] is one stop from Bowlmor) HAVE FUN!

Been there a couple times. Very unique bowling alley in the middle of Times Square. Multiple floors and lots of different themed rooms makes Bolmor a great place to get together with friends or colleagues or even host a large gathering. The bar is great the food is decent.

The atmosphere is exactly one you would expect from a bowling alley. Not that many lanes but a variety of arcade games for the kids. Outrageously priced on weekdays.best days to go would be sunday(half priced bowling) and monday( unlimited bowling for a flat rate.)

This place is awesome!! They have different theme for their bowling lanes. Also they have a bar, and a arcade area. The food is really good, service is excellent!! However arcade machines are not worth the price vs Dave and busters. Too expensive, too little choices for points redemption.

Only came here for a group event to bowl. Seems like a nice venue. A lot of separate bowling areas which is nice, it doesn't feel so packed. Didn't get a chance to try any of their food options, hopefully next time. Staff seemed nice from the interactions I had with them. It's most definitely a group venue, it's guaranteed that everyone will have fun there.

Went there yesterday the service was horrible. I order a drink off of the kiosk to be delivered to me (they make you add a tip) and it never came. I went to the bar to see what the holdup was and seen the bartender chatting with her co worker. I asked about my drink she had it sitting behind her telling me she had lost the ticket (why not come look for me?) By that point I decided just to go to the bar for my drinks. I ordered food at 1120 they stop serving food at 1115 (why did the kiosk allow me to order) plus I had to give a tip. I am a great tipper for service but I never received any kind of service. The food never came the manager gave me a refund but couldn't refund the tip. She was very unapologetic about it. I then asked what she could do for me because the tip was $4 for food I never received and she gave me a game credit for next time because they were closed. I will never get to use it because I won't be coming back there. THE SERVICE SUCK!

This is the nicest bowling alley I've been to! I was part of a group, and we had the private lanes; it was decorated in an art deco style. The staff was really nice, and the food looked good (although I didn't have any). They also have an arcade if you get tired if bowling.

Beautiful place to bowl in a less commercial atmosphere. Extremely pleasant staff. I was asked to leave a little earlier than originally agreed upon due to reservations, although we were perfectly ok with it they awarded us with $20 worth of arcade cards without fanfare for the inconvenience. The price to play was bit on the high side for one person (but I guess that's expected since they're located in the heart if the city). Pricing was a bit confusing as well. And they didnt even have all of the food options available that was advertised on their website, like the vegetable spring rolls, for example, since I'm vegan.

If you like bowling and you're here as a tourist this might be your thing. The staff are friendly and helpful but the coat check won't take your umbrella. The beer range is very standard, the food is probably what you'd expect at a bowling alley in Times Square but it wasn't terrible, and more interesting than just fries and burgers. Coconut shrimp, pigs in a blanket, chimichuri chicken skewers. Not a lot for vegetarians but them's the breaks.

I had an awesome bowling experience here with a corporate party of 12. Overall, the food was good, but cheese pizza and beer selection could have been a bit better (we only had 3 options). The lanes were normal oil levels which was greatly appreciated. Most ball sizes are for large hands and under 14 pounds. The decor was really cool!

Scammed us. We could get the same exact things cheaper somewhere else. Also they only put those “More Credits For Money” just to make and trick kids to get more credits. Also for the claw machine they make the claw machine drop the prize on purpose. Also the claw machine is 5-9 tokens each! The bowling was fun though (sorta rigged though)this is unexplainable I brought my friends to the arcade it was there first time there and one of my friends got scammed he had 75 tickets but the guy gave him a little plastic toy20 points and a little red ball for 40 points he had 15 more points so when my friend asked for the other toy the guy said oh sorry I have no more points we wasted our money I would rate it a 0 if I could. Everything there was also really over priced. For example, to get 10 credits, you had to pay $5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also a bag of gummy bears were 150 points. So you would have to buy 10 credits for $5. Then to play the game where you get points it’s 5 credits. So you can play the game twice. And say you get 160 points you can then get a bag of gummy bears. So over all you get one bag of gummy bears for $5 when you could have gotten a bag of gummy bears at the store for only $1.50.

Bowling balls are in V-bad condition; scratches, nicks, guages/ holes in balls. Bowling alley lanes have crest that pull balls. Flintstones bowling. FRAMES at Port Authority bus terminal is much better than Bowlmar.

This is the best Bowlmor location in NYC. The staff is nice and they have 2 bars very convenient (unlike Chelsea location). The waiters are great, can't say that for the staff giving out shoes though but I guess it's like that everywhere.

Dont know why there is a dress code..... it's a bowling alley. Food and drinks are overpriced. Oh and not to mention. Our lane was warped... ball kept leaning towards the right no matter how much left curve was on it. The arcade was probably the best part, but what was annoying about that was a security guard looking like wyclef kept trying to sell me an arcade card. Other than I can say that we had a lot of fun, wo that is why I give it 3 stars.

We went into the arcade on Wednesday, you get double the arcade credits for your money on Wednesdays, this is supposedly a deal. This means you get 2 credits for 1 dollar. The games in the arcade were 2-4 credits per round on average, so that's 1 to 2 dollars for just one round. That said, I would not go here any other day than Wednesday. The experience in the arcade was great, I had tons of fun and left with some fun prizes. If you find the right games, you can get some good points. I was a bit sad to see the pinball don't give any points. Overall a fun experience!

A bunch of different themes for the lanes on multiple floors! The art was really cool! You order food and drinks through the tablet and pay right there as well. We ordered two drinks and I had to wait a while for the waitress to come ask if we were ok and then ask her about the drinks. She seemed like she never got the order so it was a longer wait than I liked (25 minutes). When you enter you get a lane and shoes and then you bowl as much as you want and pay at the end for bowling. We went around 6:30/7 pm and it was $6 for shoe rental each and then $11 per game. Reasonable prices for the area. They have discounts and special pricing for certain days and times though.

Had a great time here, the interior design is bonkers as it pulls in more themes and ideas than I thought possible! Staff are fast to respond and you will get a lane and shoes right away. I had a lovely time with the place, our lane was in a small group of four so this avoids any type of accumulated noise of a barrage of lanes, it was lit fabulously and the ability to order food and drink through the lane terminal didn't disappoint. Can't wait to come back!

One of the best bowling alleys. Food is great, the pita with hummus is some of the best stuff I've ever had. I would also recommend the Margherita pizza. Staff is exceptional, very willing to help and get information about ingredients in food for dietary restrictions and their service in general is really good. Great for office parties, or with friends/family. Had a lot of fun, they also have a pretty cool arcade. Definitely recommend this place for a great time.

There were 6 of us who visited here on 8/2/19. We had two seperate living social vouchers that allowed for 2 groups of 4 to bowl. We requested 2 separate lanes because we had paid for 2 separate vouchers. I wanted to bowl w my 2 kids and the same for my best friend. The hostess gave us such a difficult time! She insisted that we all use one lane because one lane accommodates 10 bowlers. Had we wanted one lane we would have purchased 1 voucher for 6 bowlers. Long story short, she placed us on lane 12 to give our group "more space." We noticed that lane 11 was available so we went back and requested that lane as well. She said the lane was reserved. We bowled for 2 hours and lane 11 remained available the entire time. The customer service sucks! The young lady was rude. I purchased 2 vouchers, however I will be seeking a refund for the second one as I refuse to patronize this establishment again.

Its okay! Needs to add into agenda events for kids/individuals with special needs. I asked the questions for my son who is special needs, I was told from a manager they donate to the Autism fund but not planning on making anything there at establishment. Plenty of places donate and have monthly participation in events for kids/individuals. So excuse me! The arcade is overpriced to play games. Needs work I won't be going back until changes are put into play.

Usually it’s not bad, but today was a little whack. The balls on the 4th floor were all pretty busted up. The seats were kind of gross, floor was covered In trash. Then when trying to check out we were told we were on the wrong line, were told to move, then got directed back to the line we were originally on. The screens had on the games so that was cool. The staff was nice and accommodating. There is a really beautiful pool table across form the bar that is SADLY missing its balls so you cant play- which sucks because of the nice corner location. Cool arcade.

Bowling has gone upscale and has become VERY expensive. Granted, you are in the middle of the Times Square area...but if you b.c are expecting the cost of your local alley back home...expect to pay a lot more. A LOT more. One thing that I found interesting....I was sitting near one of the bar areas and I ordered a hot dog and a soda. They did NOT accept cash! Credit cards only. I never saw that before. The hot dog and soda took over 25 minutes and it cost more than ten bucks. The facility itself was nice and clean...but not too busy for a Saturday afternoon. Score more equals NO MORE! Never again.

Pretty cool place, great decorations. Best prices in Times Square, or anywhere nearby. You need a car to get anywhere cheaper. That's not really saying much though, the prices are still pretty high, and when I went they didn't honor their usual Sunday deal.

A great bowling alley in the middle of Times Square! It is nice and the staff is wonderful! There is plenty of space for various parties and special events. The food is quite good for a bowling alley too. The pizza is very tasty, better than most pizza places in the area. They have chicken tenders that are not over cooked and better than most places that aren't a bowling alley. The meatballs are quite tasty as well!

My experience was a pleasant one. I went to celebrate my birthday. Private party of two. My package was inexpensive and thorough. I had the Party of Two package, about $130. I enjoyed 1.5 hours of bowling, bottle of wine, sampler tray and free shoe rental. The staff was so attentive. The alley where I bowled was very intimate and cozy. Dim lights, cool music and "Goonies" playing on a big screen by the pins. I truly enjoyed myself and would definitely come back.

Went to three birthday parties here within a year and they were a lot of fun. Staff is always nearby when you need something or have questions and the food is really good. They even give you trays to take home any extra food from your party.

The Bowling alley was beautiful, but the pricing was way too expensive, and it costed around $50 for two people, for one game. Nice experience, but it's simple bowling, and not really worth the pricing.

Went here on a slow tuesday afternoon just to get out of the heat. Asked how much pricing was and was told 10 each for 2 hours plus shoe rentals. We only wanted to bowl maybe 1 or 2 games. It ended up costing us $94 for about an hour and we did not buy food or drinks. Asked why It was so much at the end and just got the answer "I don't make the prices".

If yore looking for an amazing environment to not only bowl, but to drink and have fun, this is the place!!! They have a decent size arcade area if you're interested in playing games aside from bowling or have young children with you that can't bowl. They also have a few pool tables as well. They have different scenes and themes for each of the bowling areas which is incredible! I've never been to a place like this. They have personal servers for every bowling area, and you also can order food and drinks right from your lane on a digital screen. It's best if you have a group for bowling because going on a weekend with just two people bowling is pricey.
