They had pretty good food and more than enough space to spread out. It was really crowded when I was there, but I never felt like I was being crushed by the mass of people there. There was always some open space to chill in. The bowling machines are a little hard to use, old perhaps, but once you get the hang of it they are fine. Bowling lanes offer bumpers. Lazer tag is in the back, to the left of the bowling. Solid hangout place.

Huge venue, but difficult to get into. Very odd entrance. They let us in early and we were the only people in there for a couple hours. The bowling was great. But the arcade games despite being half price were extortionate, pretty much $3 for one game of air hockey, and that was Half Price!

Went here this past Sunday for my dad’s birthday and we had a ball! Everyone was so welcoming! We purchased the private party package where you have unlimited food and drinks and the food was delicious! Our servers were so polite and made sure the food was replenished in a timely manner! The music was perfect, the atmosphere, and laser tag was so fun! Perfect for date night! Can’t wait to come back!

Probably the best bowlimg alley in Manhattan, which is also to say: it's pretty mediocre. It's permanently party time inside, lights off and TVs on everywhere. If you ask really nicely, they might turn off your TV so you can see the arrows on the lane. The service is pretty friendly and helpful otherwise, and the games are fun (though overpriced). Food and drink are passable, but like everything more in line with a night of corporately expensed fun. If you pay yourself, the best deals presently are Sunday and Monday night. Overall, if you live in Manhattan, this is the place to go.

As such it is loud, somewhat crowded, and the food is designed for large groups and the booze is more expensive than would be thought. The lanes are also not a full league bowling experience. That said, it's fun for groups, laser tag is a blast, and the arcades are great. Strong recommend for corporate parties and maybe for kids birthday parties.

Lanes not oiled. Brought to attention of the staff and they said yeah, they already know. They only oil the lanes once a week. They said this bowling alley is more for recreation. Not sure what that means. My family and I have only ever bowled for recreation. But my kids did not enjoy bowling when the ball goes so slow and won’t spin well because of the friction on the unoiled lanes. Staff didn’t care and wouldn’t refund or discount due to poor lane conditions. The poor lane conditions are apparently intentional.

I have been going to this Bowlmor for about 10 years. I always gone with close friends or co workers. Never had an issue here. Staff always been awesome even though when I accidentally reserve my party to the Times Square location they were able to switch the reservation to the one in Chelsea Piers. I was so grateful for them! For the staff members that was helping I remember two names Anthony (he was helping with the event) and Destiny our waitress ( you were the bomb!) she was always on point with our orders and the other two event coordinators thank you! Esp with our unlimited drinks and food coming... we were happy ppl! If you coming with a group of friends best do the packages and reservation. You won't wait long and you waste less money doing it that way. It wasn't packed but it had a good amount of ppl. The DJ was on point!! The environment was awesome. Will def (obviously) be coming here again.

We all had a good time, and the food/ service was great. **Careful with the parking lot people... the guidelines for parking are very deceptive and ambiguous, and it felt to me like a bunch of crooks trying to take advantage of the situation**

My rating is for the arcade, laser tag, and food. The arcade is obviously, specifically designed to cheat children out of money. And not just in the general way you see at these places, where kids are taught to just swipe until their card is empty and then ask for more money. At Bowlmor, the games often cost $5 or more. They often do not register on the first swipe, so you swipe again and again, only to find out later that each swipe did subtract from your card. I spent $42 on two cards and my two girls got less than ten minutes of play out of them. I watched as they tried to redeem their tickets and saw the tickets disappear in front of their eyes. One card held 70 tickets until we tried to redeem them - then there were none. One card held 130 tickets and we got one item for 50, and saw that 80 were remaining, but then seconds later that card also showed none. The laser tag and dining are all run by teenagers who are probably overworked and obviously don’t want to be there. The laser tag arena is complete chaos and there is no system of seeking help. I have been in laser tag arenas before where you’re instructed to call for a “marshal” if you need help. Both of our girls were repeatedly knocked around by other, abusive kids, but had no recourse to anyone in charge. The food is what you would expect. Our server did a fine job but was run ragged by the whole scene. Most of the staff couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge your presence. You can literally sit at a table for 2 hours without someone asking if you’d like to order. There seems to be no system for getting an order to the correct table; most of the servers walk around carrying food until someone recognizes it. The entire place is a chaotic money vacuum. Please go anywhere else.

Great place for groups. I've done a few parties here and it's so much fun. It's a bit pricey but you get what you paid for. I did the kingpin package which comes with the liquor package and selected appetizers of your choice for the time that your there. Food was good and drinks were ok.

The party package is the best way to go with large groups. The food is great and what's included in the packages is even greater. I got there (with my little sister) before my party did and I gave her name an info but staff was still confused on where we were suppose to go (I've never been or cared for bowling before) the front desk told us (not showed us) where our booth was. we got to the seating an some random guy (assuming he works there)asked us who we were an told us we were sitting in the wrong seats an that the bowling booth we were in wasn't turned on (my sister was practicing before the group arrived) he seemed to not be considerate at the fact that we probably never went bowling before and he just seemed lost his damn self as an employee.... Over all once my party arived we had fun. And the employee we had by our booth (female) was really nice.. The guys customer service was trash though Don't see myself ever going back

This place is really busy on the weekends. You can get on a waiting list and they will text you when your line is ready. Staff where you get bowling shoes is not friendly at all. Also you cannot get a table, most of the tables were empty with other peoples stuff, we ended up leaving to look for a place to eat. In approximately 3 hours I received a text that my lane was ready. So went to bowl, our waiter was really nice though.

We went in here to eat. The food wasn't bad, and the portions are quite large. The drink prices are however outrageous. I got a cucumber lemonade and it was over $13 for 16 ounces, most of that was ice. I suggest not ordering alcohol here but other than that is ok for the money. Our sever was friendly and prompt, no complaints there.

Strictly in terms of bowling, this place is really fun. The alleys are well maintained and the facility is well run. There’s a wide variety of balls to use, and getting your shoes is as painless a process as any. I came with a private party, and there weren’t any issues with that. I have only bowled here, but there are many other things to do, so I can’t fully evaluate this place. Would definitely recommend the bowling, though.

Had a super good time here. The drinks are so so but didn't mind because of the fun we had from bowling and the prices of the drinks during happy hour. The arcades was good even though you have to reload a pay card to play them and the laser tag was awesome. We received HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! We walked into an unorganized and very unprofessional (BRIAN) mess! We didn’t get to sing or eat any cake because they ruined the custom cake!! So much fun!! My friends and I go to Chelsea Piers almost everytime we go to NYC. We always have a blast and it is very rarely crowded. Even late on a Friday night. There is something for everyone. Bowling, video games and a great laser tag arena. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Had my birthday party here and the staff was amazing! Super attentive and very friendly. They have great party packages and have a good assortment of arcade games. Their laser tag experience is also lots of fun with large party sizes. Highly recommend.

Not sure what else to expect from such a place, I didn't like it but it may appeal to others: loud inside, full of a literal cacophony of sounds from gazillion video and carnival games loud ultra pop music and of course balls rolling and pins knocking. Cheap beer and fried food, It definitely felt geared towards to younger teen crowd, though I was there late afternoon, maybe at night it's cool jazz and steaks, I'll never know. The bowling works pretty well and can be a fun group event as long as you don't mind shouting over the noise

Bowling, arcade, laser tag and a bar a good mix of activities. Staff was professional and attentive. Plenty of projection screens for sports and what not. Live DJ who had a good set. My only gripe being that it was expensive.

The staff is extremely rude and unwelcoming. Feels like they are doing you a favor. The manager was equally as pathetic when I shared my feedback with him. The bowling alley is nice and the bartending staff provided service much more in line with expectations and it was appreciated.
