We had a blast. Nice place and staff. We went Tuesday afternoon so it wasn’t crowded. Staff is wonderful and nice. Plenty of parking space. Had a Groupon deal but it’s not our first time to play there. Will come back.

There are other alleys closet to home but I come here all the time. As there are many lanes, there's usually not a long wait time if any. We'll kept and usually quickly responsive when issues occur with the older equipment. There's a bar, mini diner, pool tables and a video arcade for a full entertainment lineup. The pro shop is run by friendly and knowledgeable staff who can measure and prepare custom bowling balls to meet your bowling style. I'm currently in the process of getting this done for my young teen son. I definitely recommend this place. Be sure to call ahead to be sure that you will be able to get a lane as they do cater to multiple leagues.

Terrible customer service, my friends and I tried walking to the bar to get a drink we are both 21+ and a guy that seemed like a manager stopped us saying we are not allowed to go near it. Did not ask for identification simply was trying to deny us service, then when I asked why he said we look on the younger side I tried explaining no one even asked us for an ID he claimed I was giving him “attitude” and if I continued he wasn’t going to allow service for us at all. It was all very unnecessary especially because they did not ask for identification.

While I was playing bowling the black employee woman came to our lane and started screaming at me and eventually started the death treats towards me. She was acting like she was mentally unstable and showed sing “I will cut you off” by moving her fingers across her throat. they mentioned her name was Lynn. We went to the front desk and the lady said she will take care of it but nothing got done.

8th turn they turned off our game and we paid per game $10.25 per person. they gave some bs answer that made no sense. saying because one group had 4 people and another group was 5 they shut off the game. tried to rip us off. they did turn our game back on, but the interruption and the unfriendliness of the employees just ruined the experience. random lady waddled over and took 3 of our balls away when we weren't done hey some of us use kiddie balls ><.

Great place to go with family or friends. I went with my youth group and we had a blast. Food is a bit on the greasy side and took a very long time to get but the bowling is fun and awesome and they had an arcade as well as a few pool tables and such. I liked it a lot!!

Bowler city hasn't changed in 30 years which is good. Alleys are great, Tommy Jordan has theeeeeee best pro shop in the state and he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The snack bar changed hands a while ago maybe 6 or 7 years ago...it was great! Now its terrible. Doesn't carry a lot of old stand bys, no pretzels no gatorade. Coffee was premade and old. Prices are high quality, well .not so much. The help was very nice and friendly, but the language used amongst themselves was atrocious! Im glad there wasn't any little kids in there at the time. Im no polyanna but i know when and where language can be accepted and where it cant be. In front of customers is a nono.

Great bowling alley. There is almost always no wait time except for Saturday and Friday nights. If you are going on one of those busy nights I have seen over an hour wait. Maybe even 2 hours. I can't really hold that against the alley since there are about 50 lanes and that just means they are popular. The shoes are pretty comfortable and the sizing fits nicely. I like to order a pitcher of soda whenever I go to share with my group. The food stand is pretty good and there are a lot of options. If you come with kids and they are bored, there is a small arcade which is very entertaining.

We had a birthday party here for our 8-years son. The main advantage of this place is a possibility to make a small party. We had just 6 children but almost all such places ready to organize birthday for at least 10 person. Obviously we didn't want to pay for 10. These guys are opened for small parties. We had 45 minutes of bowling, then 45 minutes in the private room for pizza and cake (pizza is included in the price) and after this they gave some tokens for automats to each child. All time there was a responsible person around. She accompanied us for all time helping with any questions. We absolutely satisfied, my son is happy. Thank you very much!

Don't go here, the black janitor lady is the worse person ever, she was telling at the group next to me & snatching their bowling balls because in her crazy mind they were not allowed to use a size 6 ball because they were not kids or diabled....she threaten 1 guy for trying to get it back smfh after spending $70 i was told i couldnt use the bumpers cause i was not a child I WOULD NEVER GO BACK!!!

One of the staff here is extremely rude and unstable. Started yelling at one of the clients. I could tell the girl she was yelling at was quite confused. I could barely hear anything but this female personnel was shouting things like “I’m going to cut you!” “I’m going to cut you off!” I feel so bad for her. At this point everybody was looking at her. The group beside us wasn’t doing anything wrong and some mentally unstable looking lady was just there yelling incoherent things. At first we thought she was just some random crazy person that walked into the alley, but we later on realized she’s an employee! She finally left after dropping some very concerning threats to the girl. This is not how you should treat people here!

Just bowled there for my April Federation Match and my bowling experience there was pretty good. The lanes were decently oiled. The facility was clean including the men's room. There was even adiquate parking for the match. Other than possibly maybe installing some automatic front doors for entering and exiting the building, overall it was a great place to bowl.

This place is always packed. If you go prime hours good luck getting a lane. They cater to leagues. Equipment needs a major update. Computers are old and barley work. Each and everytime I have been here there has been an issue with the system resetting or failing to cycle. Makes playing very difficult. With that said still a local favorite to come here. Good bowling alley for kids. One game for three kids with shoe rental cost 30$. The kids had a blast. They have the bumpers as well as the ramps. They do have food to order and some vending machines. Vending machines don’t take card though so have cash. Otherwise you can order food from their kitchen. They do have some video games too. We came here because Lodi Lanes was having a tournament and would not let us play on their unoccupied lanes. Happy we ended up at Bowler City!

I went here in June for an end of school year celebration/night out with my son's martial arts school. Prices are not expensive. They have food & available. There is a small bar with great prices & a few signature cocktails-I reccomend "The Mermaid". They also have a small arcade in the back & a few arcade games in the main bowling area. It was a great time for the kids and adults!

Rude employees, says closes at 2am but couldn't buy a game at 130 because "they closed soon", bar closes real early so not much time to get your drink on. Had a janitor come try and tell us how to run our games when we were setting them up made my entire party (15+) very uncomfortable. Just a poor experience. 2 stars because pricing i felt was fair. I wont be back myself. I am pretty sure no one from my group will be either.

It is very sad that this is the best bowling place to go near Palisades Park. I will avoid storytelling but go straight to description. The place is medium-loud with 00's music, generally packed in weekends, never had to wait over 15 minutes for a party of six. Lane is very greasy so bring your wiper. Shoes are deodorized but i wonder if they ever clean it... Try not to get right side (higher lane#) because the music turns off frequently and all malfunctioning experience was on that side. They have a bar with a decent price ($3.5-6.0 per bottle of beer). The reason for an additional star. Pizza is greasy but okay. Do not get chicken or fried food here because its salty and dry. They must pour salt in their batter. If you didn't know, seasoning the cooking oil results clean, smooth saltiness. They have a pool behind the bar and an arcade place. Honestly, i never paid close attention there. You searched here because yoi want to bowl.

You can spend a reasonable about of money here for a fun night with the whole family. If your on the fence between this place and the Ice rink next door, do yourself a favor and come here! You won’t regret it.

Cool place to go bowling with the family. It's an arcade and bowling spot all in one with catered parties for kids and they also sell quick food like pizza, soda etc. My only tip for the present ownership is to have the roof redone and change all ceiling tiles etc. As someone who might be a parent, some may have issues with mold or stuff in the air because of the way it looks and that's in the dark! It doesn't bother me but I did hear some mom's talking know what I mean now? Overall atmosphere and experience was good. I would recommend...

My go to bowling lane for years. Usually packed in peak times but if you go off peak it's a great place to relax and just destroy some pins. They have many different events and if you check the calendar you will see certain deals and discounts depending on the time of day. People and staff are usually helpful if they aren't busy being swarmed by the other people that need help. There is an arcade room for the kids and they have a party room also if you want to rent for a birthday. They also serve liquor at the bar witha pool table at the back. If you happen to need some help with bowling equipment and repairs or drilling there's also a bowling shop right by the entrance in the front just as you enter inside bowler city.

Awesome establishment! Nick does a great job of running the place and making sure that everyone is always having a great time. The staff is always friendly and informative. There are two Dart boards, 2 pool tables, a foosball table and a small arcade! I live in Manhattan but this is my go-to spot because the prices are unbeatable, they have the best staff, the alley is always clean and they have a pretty big parking lot. Don't forget to try the chicken fingers and the slushies. Also, be sure to put your bowling balls back on the rack when you're done. See you guys Sunday! Thanks again.

Great service. Our lane was having an issue with ball return. The manager not only made sure the issue was corrected, but he also comped is some extra time to make up for the inconvenience. We'll definitely be back. Also, decent pizza for a bowling alley.

I agree with some of the other reviewers. Decent place to bowl but not very good for kids parties. By the time you are finished bowling a couple of games there is about twenty minutes left for cake in the party room then you are rushed out the door.
