Here you have all the reviews of real people like you who know the services of Strikers East Bowling Center & Function Room (Bowling Alley) near New Hampshire.
At present the business gets a score of 4.2 stars over 5 and this score was based on 142 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is very good, and it's based on a high number of reviews, so we can say that the score is very accurate. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to give feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Bowling Alley belongs to the category of Bowling alley.
Great place - clean and well maintained. Prices are good too. Staff was friendly and courteous. It's 10 pin only.
Good, full size bowling alley (not candle pin). Prices are a little high per game, but guess that's just the way it is now especially for full size bowling. Decent selection of house balls to use and lanes are well maintained. Bathrooms could be a little cleaner, but they weren't horrible or unusable. Overall, decent family entertainment.
It shows its age. The automatic scoring board was becoming detached from the floor. If anyone leaned on it the scores would reset. They also had a DJ who was playing music way too loud. If you want to protect your hearing, you should wear earplugs if you go here to bowl while there's a DJ. It's not a terrible place, I would go back but only with a group, not alone.
I recently attended a catered benefit in their upstairs function room. Disappointing would be putting it gently. Apparently the people throwing the benefit were suppose to be monitoring the food as no one from Strikers kept an eye on anything. Our hostess had to go downstairs three times to request it be refilled and it still took almost 2 hours to accomplish. The bartender would disappear for 45 minutes at a time. Other guests began going down and ordering food from strikers snack bar because there was none at the function they paid to get into. They managed the affair so poorly. When confronted about it the "owner" tried to convince us we had misheard or misunderstood something. Even tried to convince us that we had had way more food then ever graced that room and even made our hostess pay for it. I use the "owner" word loosely because upon calling to speak with the owner his daughter first tried to convince us she was the owner. Daddy's little princess on a powertrip!!! Worst function manager I have ever seen! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
The best bowling center in the area, knowledge staff and well maintained equipment make it a rarity in the area for ten-pin bowling.
Nice staff, nice alley. I regularly went there with a group of people with special needs. They gave us special pricing and treated our folks with respect.
Very well kept lanes, excellent food, adult beverages priced above average.
It's actually a nice place now. The service was good.
Good food, pro shop had a nice variety of accessories, but from multiple experiences, the seems to be no consistent oil pattern and very difficult to judge when moving from lane to lane.
Funnest big ball bowling around. In a sea of candle pin, this big ball establishment is the white whale
Excellent
They have a good pro shop but I prefer dover bowl better due to its atmosphere
Awesome!
It's always fun coming here. Everything is priced well and it's open late.
Will never recommend this place for an event venue. They never cleaned the function room, the hand railing going up to the space was hanging off the wall, which is a huge liability, cobwebs EVERYWHERE. There was no communication, and when we tried to find who we need to talk to about getting some help cleaning, the blame was placed back and forth between here and the cork and keg next door. This place is filthy and so overpriced it was sadly comical. I will NEVER recommend this place to any of my clients. This is AFTER they cleaned...
Best bowling center in the state of New Hampshire and I've been to almost all of them. Friendly people work and hang out here.
I visit this place approximately once a month, for the NH Furbowl. If I'd written this a few months ago, I would've given a terrible review, as their management really became a dumpster fire. For some reason, however, things have evened out...maybe they got new management? Staff are friendly, and the NH Furbowl is a fun event, every time.
Friendly staff, well-maintained equipment.
Was only in the function room
Great place, fun lanes, good employees. Can't beat that.
This place is great! First time there and I'm sorry I haven't been sooner with the family. We all had a great time. Great for all ages! Will be back again soon.
Very helpful staff.
10 Pin bowling alley with a great atmosphere!
Employee was very rude to our party and gave us attitude for paying with a debit card. There were over 15 open lanes and she put us where there was a dirty table and when asked to move us over 1 lane she again gave us attitude.
AHHHH SUCH GOOD BOWLING!!!!!
Cheap prices for bowling and beer. We were able to find a spot to bowl on a Saturday afternoon on a whim. Fun time! Friendly staff, they actually opened up a register so we wouldn't have to wait behind one person when we went to check out.
this bowling alley is okay. they take care of the lanes pretty well, but the employees are kind of hardos. the food is just alright and their drinks are super weak. Their balls are pretty much all crap. they cater to the league players way more than the regular patrons. they have a couple of arcades, but it's hit or miss if they will be working or not.
I love to bowl. The arcade has changed and its a lot smaller. Fair price for bowling. Food is alright. Pizza is undercooked a lot of the time. Employees sometimes are very rude. And give so much attitude when you ask for anything.
Sooo much fun!!
Had a blast here, great drinks, lol
They turn away business even when they have 6 open lanes!
Lovely staff, always so welcoming! The furbowls are fantastic !
This is the place to go to get drunk and let your kids run around the people in here was ignorant !!! Definitely not a place for kids at all and the prices lol are ridiculously high don't waste your time
Went during open bowling. League bowl elsewhere. Family friendly atmosphere. They should really try to put experienced bowlers at one end and open bowlers on the other end. It is extremely difficult to practice with people that do not know lane etiquette are bowling next to you, when you are well versed in lane etiquette. If you have no idea what lane etiquette is, you'll be fine.
Friendly staff. Clean facility. Equipment operational. ProShop on site with equally friendly staff!! Nice assortment of food selection. Have yet to try the food but other folks sure seem to enjoy their offerings!! Full bar with great cocktails and reasonable prices!! Overall had a great time.
The bar here the cork and keg is a good place to have a drink and the food is good the sandwiches are quite big and filling
Local taps available in pitchers and modern electric scoring. Big Ball.
My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years without incident until this past Friday... It was unusually slow at 9pm and my boyfriend had just bought 3 games and shoes from the woman with the red hair that's worked there forever. I was using the rest room and he was going to purchase me a drink, and himself a beer, when that woman told him he was allowed only one beer... WE WERE THERE 5 MINUTES. I understand the responsibility bartenders have as I am one but she was clearly instigating, saying we'll see how it goes. We left without playing any games and was told we couldn't get our money back.. and they wonder why it was dead on a Friday Absolutely terrible customer service.
Great time, good for children and adults alike, friendly staff
Very unfriendly red haired woman working in sales and shoes and behind the mini bar. I suggest you find a friendlier staff.
I liked bowling here. This place has a cool vibe. There is plenty of space on every lane for all your friends. Check there website for there deals (some days offer $2 games). They also have some video games to play. Always a great time. Cold beer, great pizza, and amazing atmosphere make this one of the only place I bowl.
We came here to celebrate my sisters birthday (there was 4 of us) and we brought a cake that when we got there we were told we were not allowed to bring in. Not for the reason of food allergies but because they wanted us to pay them for a "party package" in order to bring in our own cake! I can totally understand if it was a food allergy thing or if they sold cakes there for us to be able to purchase but they do not! It's utterly ridiculous so we quickly returned our shoes and went to a bowling place that would allow us to bring in our own cake. By the way lakeside lanes in Auburn lets you be a normal American!
They have the best maintained lanes in the area for serious bowlers. The manager is great and always goes out of his way to say hi to us.
Definetly a cheaper place with no queue, friendly staffs, You can enjoy foods over here, got beers pool table also and many bowling so that you don't even have to wait. Shortly i liked it and its cheaper too
The bowling is decent but the weakness of the drinks ruined it for me. Those bottles on the wall have probably been there since they opened. Ordered a captin and coke and payed 6$ for a 12oz coke .
Poor experience. Poor customer service. Had three frames left to bowl and was told to leave without any explanation. Love bowling there but probably won't be back. Overall wish the manager/employee had a reason for asking our team to leave without finishing our game and not giving us a refund.
Always an enjoyable time
Too crowded, disorganized, but did have fun bowling
We bowled one string paid for two an did not get refunded. Expensive but it was fun
Great location to bowl
We asked to be placed away from other bowlers but the owner said no. The people next to us took our seats so we couldn't even sit down. We immediately returned our shoes and told the owner that it's too conjested at our lane and left without playing a single game. Will not return.
Excellent staff in both the bowling alley and proshop.
Always bringing large groups in. Friendly staff and great experiences. Regular go
Incredi-bowl!
Good and cheap place to go bowling with friends or family.
go big ball or go home
Fun
We visited Strikers East Bowling Center in Raymond on February 11th, 2018 around 1:00 pm. My Daughter (5) and myself (36) were very excited to visit as we had never been. WHAT A MISTAKE! As we approached the check in spot, we were not even greeted. The woman asked how many games of bowling that we wanted. I replied, "I don't know. Maybe two?" We both rented shoes and my credit card was charged $24.00 (Which I thought was high) We got over to our lane, typed in our names, and were off. Unfortunately for my Daughter, they only have the larger bowling balls and she was unable to throw it. She tried the lightest balls that they offered but it was just too heavy for her. I noticed some other people with young children who were using a "Dragon Bowling Ball Ramp" so I asked the front desk if they could provide one for us. They said no, because they ONLY HAVE TWO! A facility with 25+ lanes who I would guess does hundreds of thousands of dollars each year in revenue (if not millions) and whose primary business on the weekends is families, some with young children, only has TWO BOWLING BALL ASSIST RAMPS? That makes zero sense to me. We were unable to safely finish our first game so on our way out when we returned the shoes, I kindly asked the woman at the front for a $9.00 refund (second game only) She looked at me like I was crazy and pointed to a cheesy handwritten sign that read "Absolutely no refunds" on the far left board. (As if I should have seen that when I first paid.) I was given two free games of bowling for our troubles. However, I didn't want two free games of bowling, I simply wanted my $9.00 back for the second game that we were unable to play due to their lack of equipment. We left immediately and went to the Exeter Bowling Lanes. We each rented shoes and played two games for $11.50 (Compared to the $24.00 at Strikers East) and my Daughter had a blast. If you visit this facility, be sure to let them know that you only want to play ONE GAME. (You can always play more if you choose) I find the charge up front for multiple games thing a scam and a sleazy business practice. We typically go bowling every two weeks at the Exeter Bowling Lanes and spend approximately $15-$25 each time. You have lost our business over a $9.00 refund. You have insufficient equipment for younger children and unfriendly, cocky staff. Never again. BEWARE!!!
Such a blast!! What a fun night getting to meet with friends and go bowling! The space accommodates for LOTS of people (so no worries about rubbing elbows with anyone) and the prices are pretty cheap compared to some other alleys that I've gone to out of state. The lighting was fun with lots of colors! The music was similar to a middle school dance, but I loved it because of the nostalgia and getting to dance around!! Didn't get to try the food or drinks offered this time but it was a great time and I recommend it for your next birthday party or informal gathering.
Lane oiling was inconsistent, fine for a casual bowler and the food was great
I like it
It was super great until the cops came for the belligerent drunk guy.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
What you expect. Regularly priced bowling, snacks and drinks for sale, sometimes it gets a bit crowded.
Great staff, always friendly. The building could use some updates
Staff spoken with were curt and rude.I went in a second time, and they were the same way. Disappointed isn't a strong enough term, unfortunately.
A group of us went a few weekends ago to bowl. We had to have our lane reset numerous times as it kept freezing up. We dealt with a red haired lady who was extremely rude. The service was very slow and we never got an apology. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and went again last night. The same woman working. She was not better than last time. We purchase two lanes for unlimited bowling. Apparently, umllmited was for three hours only. We didn’t get to finish our last string as one lane shut down and our lane has the scoring so messed up that you had to throw 3 balls before it would move to the next player and when it did switch you had already thrown one of their balls. Apparently there is a 1 pitcher of beer per customer limit before your shut off. Which wasn’t the case the last time we went. We dropped a few hundred bucks there last night and it will be the last time. I suggest the alley get rid of Miss personality, of course I will never know because we won’t be back.
Friendly staff, great food,good value!
Best lanes around
Awesome place to hangout, do some bowling, or play some air hockey. The fries are good and they have a variety of drinks if you are into that.
Good value for three hours of bowling.
Lanes were oily, and the staff seemed unenthused. It's clean though, and the bathrooms are usable. Old technology, but I'm not expecting to see 4k bezel-less screens on every lane, but maybe not CRTs.
Cool place. Had fun with my mums boyfriends son here.
Great prices, nice staff, wide selection at pro shop
