This is a great place to take kids for candlepin bowling. These days kids are preoccupied with devices & non-physical stimulation. This place brings a nice twist to bowling by scoring a game on animated screens under blacklights & flashing disco lighting. It creates an atmosphere that promotes, both fun AND physical activity. Great place for kids birthday parties as well.

Great place for the family. Candlepin bowling is great for little ones that can't manage the regular bowling balls. Standard snack bar. Birthday parties with private rooms (still use regular lanes) available. Leda Lighthouse is glow bowling and separate from the regular Leda Lanes which is nice for a family environment. Prices are what one would expect. $30 for a family of 4 including shoe rental makes it more affordable than other attractions in the area.

Six of us bowled two strings for $61 including shoes. The staff were friendly and courtious. The floors and tables were clean. The kids enjoyed it for the ambiance and music. We enjoyed the screen animations in between bowlers. Hope to do this again soon.

The setup is different for bowling with the ball rolling under the floor for the return. The light show was not distracting but the darker candlepin bowling balls are a little difficult to see. I did not encounter any glitches with the counter. The establishment is smaller than its neighbor with less lanes. Bathroom was clean. Snack bar was small.

I have to absolutely say that the young man working there went above and beyond during our visit. (Sep 10, 2019 6:30 PM) I wish I had grabbed his name. We were waiting for new tires to be put on down the street and so we decided to head over to Leda Lanes and play a game or two with our daughter. When we got there, the young man was very helpful. He explained the prices of everything and was extra patient while we tried to find the right size shoe for our daughter. Shortly after starting our game, we ordered food. The young man, who checked us in to play, was also the only one preparing food. He was able to make our food and bring it out to our table, while attending to the rest of the bowling alley. Impressive! He promptly cleaned up after groups of people who had left. We had cleaned up after ourselves before we left, and he joked I was making his job too easy for him. What a nice guy!
