Horrible, Horrible experience. The owner yelled at our children and accused them of tearing up his establishment after they got balls stuck on the lane. He was extremely rude and offered the poorest service ever!! Wouldn't recommend this place, and we will never be back here!

Was visiting Dallas and me and my family were looking for a place to bowl we probably wont ever go back everyone there was great except for this one old rascist white man i saw how he tread the white people he was smiling talking to them and wanting to help them when we walked up there he didnt want to speak to us he was rude and i almost gave in and went off on him but the other man came over there and assessed the situation before it could escalate. The bar staff was nice but the old man ruined the experience for us he wouldnt help us with our lane like he did the others but you can clearly tell hes rascist and hes not trying to hide it he may was well wear a sign.... all i can say is get with the times black people bowl too and we have money just as good as our fellows with lighter skin complexities

We came on a Thursday thinking we would be able to bowl but boy was I wrong. Every lane was packed and they stated it would take two hours just for a lane to open up. Not only that but we did not have anyone greet us or asked if we needed help. The cashier was an old man who was rude. Will never come back here. You’re better off going to DeSoto AMF.

We've tried to go several times over the last year and they always have leagues going on. They had at least 4 open lanes before 5 pm on Sunday and we were told leagues were starting soon so we couldn't get a lane. It's an ok place but with the road construction and lack of open lane times, it's just not worth the trouble. The snacks are ok and the prices are reasonable but disappointing that you can rarely go.

I came to this bowling alley looking to have some fun in stead I was met with a rude older guy working the front register, he rudely told me that you pay at the end (later I found out why.) We played with their limited selection of bowling balls and for 2 people to play 2 games costed me $22 because they charge shoe rental EVERY GAME 0/10 would never come back again.

Nachos took 15min then when they came they were super cold, chips tasted terrible as well. Also save your money on the hot dogs- they look & taste weird. Dp also taste funny- do I need to go on? Food sucks.

Staff was nice when interacting, although if you're new in town or not a local, expect a lot of awkward stares from both staff and patrons. I asked a friend of mine about it and he said it's pretty much a secluded hangout. My daughter kept asking me why people kept looking. After just one game we just left, we almost didn't even finish that. Food was ok, it's almost as basic as it gets, and clean, just uncomfortable.

I would rate a Big fat ZERO if I could! Horrible experience!! We were looking for some family fun locally and decided to try it out!! The man at the front told me there were only 3 lanes available. I saw a family bringing their shoes up and told him that they were about to leave. He looks at me and tells me that they were not leaving because they just started. We leave and as I'm loading my kids in the car I see that same family loading into their car. I walk back in and tell him that I saw them leave and the old man told me that the couple behind me got the lane. Soooo.. another family is leaving.. I ask her if they are leaving she tells me yes. So I ask to take their lanes and the old man tells me that he would rather I not take both lanes since he does not have many available!!!!! WHY is this place still open?? Why is this man still working there?? Must be the owner. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. There was nothing different from me and the other two families except the color of our skin and I would hate to think that is the reason!!! Horrible horrible horrible!! Do not go!

Went with my husband and 2 kids... My kids are signed up for "kids bowl free" well all last year they just looked at my phone...for some reason they now want a printed off email! Guess what some people don't have computers and printers! So because of that we had to pay full price! And that smart ass little kid and that old man are VERY rude!!!

Took the wife an son here the food was good the soda was fresh. The staff was friendly. The place seemed clean. Has a old time feel to it. All great things. However none of the balls seem to have been polished. An the lane we had seemed to have a right hand slant my the pins. It was real and it was fun. But it wasnt real fun. Dont really know how to explain it.

Pretty expensive. I was shocked at our bill. We go to the bowling alley in Duncanville which has a very similar feel, a family ownership and quite clean with great food choices and pricing.

I've bowled league here for a few years now and it's one of the best bowling alleys I've been to. If you're a serious bowler, the lane conditions are very consistent, the lanes are leveled properly, and it's got a good atmosphere to help you relax and bowl your best(Bowled my best game and series there). If you're just looking for a place to go to have fun then it's a great place to go and goof off for a while. Good snack bar, pool tables ready to go, and friendly service. I highly recommend going.

What can I say about Hilltop Lanes, it is a very well kept Bowling Center. Hilltop is one of the top facilities in the state in my opinion. Hilltop may be a small house (16 lanes) but their attention to detail, courtesy and condition of lanes is all professional. They throw some very well organized tournaments and the pro shop is top notch, their kitchen cooks some good food too. It doesn't matter if you are just wanting to have a good time with your family or friends with a night of bowling, or if you are very serious about the sport of bowling, it's an awesome facility for both!! The only drawback is it can get quite packed in there, especially on a weekend or Tournament. However I guess you should expect that with a well run house... Prices are decent too

The old owner is an absolute scumbag. My friends and I walked in to bowl and got our shoes. I saw an open table and sat down to put on my shoes only to see my friends were being *yelled* at by the owner!!!!!!! Apparently the owner thought I was taking an open lane myself and I had to wait until he gave us a lane. The owner refused to tell us which lane we could have until I came up there and apologized for disrespecting him. Needless to say that certainly didnt happen and we promptly walked off without a word. I havent been so disrespected with no incentive in a long time. My friends and I (all full time students or college graduates with full time job) were nothing but respectful to this scumbag. I nor any of my friends will ever return and hopefully the owner is forced to close down soon, since he keeps running off his customers by acting like a POS.

My fiance and I finally had a night to ourselves and decided to go bowling. I've been here twice before and have had to wait lengthy periods for a lane due to the amount of lane closures for their leagues. We were met by an extremely rude old man who was extremely disrespectful to both I and my fiance. They had 12 of their 16 lanes reserved for a league. The 13th lane was shut down for whatever reason. The other three lanes were taken by a large group. We understood that we may have to wait and didn't mind. When we asked him how long it might take for a lane to open up, he never gave us a true answer. He was just down right rude and disrespectful as he pointed towards the large group occupying the last three lanes and told us they currently held the lanes. Never again will I return to this bowling alley. I would rather drive an hour to go to Forum Bowling off 360.

Hilltop is by far the best bowling alley we've ever been to! We have 4 kids ranging in age from 10 to 18 and it is our favorite family hangout. Every single member of the staff loves bowling and makes it their goal to make sure that their patrons enjoy themselves and have a great experience. We feel so comfortable and welcome at Hilltop that we recently joined their summer league. The Pro Shop has been fantastic in helping me find and use the right equipment for me with the focus being on just what I need to help me enjoy it more, not getting me to spend more money that I have to. The snack bar staff has been so kind and friendly and even provided a ziplock bag of ice for one of my children who had a headache! All of the people who work the front counter have gotten to know our family and give us tips on what we can do to improve and encourage and support our love for this sport! Bottom line...Hilltop Lanes in Waxahachie is a wonderful family hangout with caring staff members. It has become our home away from home!

It's a cozy small town bowling alley. Only 16 lanes, but they are in good condition, with electronic scoring. Rental shoes seem fairly new, and plenty of house balls to choose from. We didn't get food from the grill, but saw many people there doing so.
